Urban Press Winery & Restaurant in Burbank delivered an unforgettable night. We booked the chef’s six-course dinner, and every course impressed. Flavors were rich and balanced. Presentation was precise and elegant. Each plate felt intentional, from the first bite to the last. The setting added to the experience. Surrounded by wine bottles, candlelight, and thoughtful service, the evening felt intimate and special. If you value elevated dining, attention to detail, and food prepared with care, this experience deserves your time.
Had the most incredible work dinner last night at Urban Press Winery! We reserved their private room for about 20 people, and everything was perfect. The space was beautiful, the food and wine were delicious, and the service was outstanding. We added a few lanterns with tea lights for a cozy touch, and the atmosphere couldn’t have been better. We started with the most amazing charcuterie boards — complete with truffle honey that was absolutely to die for. Dinner was served family-style: stuffed chicken, branzino, mashed potatoes with a dreamy sauce I’m still thinking about, fresh veggies, and Italian beignets for dessert. Truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. Rose was extremely accommodating for all our special requests. Thank you, Urban Press Winery for an incredible night Highly recommend Urban Press Winery for any private event or special dinner! 🍷✨.
A must visit place for brunch or dinner. Service is friendly and attentive. Food is delicious. The patio is where you want to seat. Great wine selection.
Five stars all the way . Urban Press Winery in Burbank never disappoints 🙌 the food is outstanding, the wine is exceptional, and the hospitality is on another level. You feel genuinely welcomed the moment you walk in. Everything from the ambiance to the service makes it the kind of place you want to come back to again and again. Highly recommend for a great night out
The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and unique! The staff are attentive and our waitress Hadley knew so much about the wines and flavors. She made our experience even more enjoyable! The food is so delicious and I HIGHLY recommend the red wine soaked pear. I also recommend coming on a Wednesday because they have an affordable deal wine tasting. 10/10 will come back!
What a real treat to finally make it to Urban Press Winery & Restaurant! My friend and I have circled this restaurant and our schedule finally aligned. The decor has an old European charm to it, and it makes you feel like you're transported to a far away winery even though you're in the middle of Downtown Burbank. Wednesday night is a great night to visit since they have Happy Hour including $10 pastas all night! To start off, we had the Charcuterie with an assortment of delicious deli meat and cheese, fig jam, olives, dried nuts and fruits, and foccacia. It's a great appetizer and paired well with the white wines we had with our 6-glass wine taster set! The Arancini is also a must have for appetizer. It is crunchy, savory, and just so delicious. It is similar to meatballs in a sense, but lighter as a filling. For our main entrées, we had the smaller Happy Hour portions of the Cacio e Pepe, a classic Roman pasta that I love, and Agnolotti, a butternut squash and ricotta stuffed pasta with browned butter sauce. As much as I love Cacio e pepe, this one is a little bit underseasoned, but still tasty. I just wanted more from it. The Agnolotti was the clear winner between the two with its delicate balance of cheesiness, nuttiness, and sweetness. Finally, we had two pizzas, the Fennel Pork Sausage as well as the Quattro Formaggi (four cheeses). Both are quite tasty, but the Quattro Formaggi is just so good with its Asiago, Gorgonzola, Parmesan, and Truffle Oil, and ultimately the more memorable pizza. Service was excellent and it was just a lovely dining experience overall. I can't wait to come back!
Nice surprise of a non-chain, high-quality restaurant in downtown Burbank. Food was very delicious. Highly recommend the branzino. Need to bring our wine loving friends. They have a very nice covered patio upstairs and live music downstairs.
We had our rehearsal dinner at Urban Press Winery and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, Caryn was amazing to work with—so helpful, flexible, and made the whole process feel effortless. The food was outstanding—every dish was delicious, and the arancini were a huge hit with everyone. Seriously, people are still talking about them! The wine was also incredible (no surprise there), and paired perfectly with everything we had. The service went above and beyond, and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. It honestly exceeded our expectations in every way. We’ll definitely be back for more comforting, delicious Italian food—and of course, more wine. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a great night out!
Hidden gem in Burbank! We had the most amazing dinner with a wine tasting experience at this lovely and authentic place. The whole staff were absolutely fabulous and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The food was extraordinary and the octopus was definitely the best I have ever had. Very well balanced flavors and new interesting combinations. It’s a pity we are not local otherwise we’d be regulars.
Amazing experience. We ordered a special request and they delivered everything we wanted.
In the heart of downtown Burbank. We went there for my birthday’s dinner. Food was great, we did wine tasting, tried the Caesar salad, 4 cheese pizza, bolognese and the Tiramisu. Live music was a little bit loud but the service was great
A very good place to go for a birthday celebration, date, dinner, wine tasting, or just a nice night out in Burbank. I took my wife to Urban Press Winery for her birthday dinner and she was extremely impressed! Live music, nice lighting, gourmet food, great seating indoor and outdoors… it was the perfect way to celebrate my wife’s birthday weekend! Everything was beyond incredible and amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We added wine tasting to our visit and enjoyed well-crafted deserts to round out a very special weekend. I absolutely recommend this exquisite winery and restaurant to anyone in the area or even potential visitors from out of town like us to give them a try!
They had me when I walked through the wine bottle shaped entrance into the dining area at a Yelp event in late September. The decor, the ambience and the service were top notch and so, here I am again with a few other Yelpers enjoying a Saturday night drinking delicious wine, eating and listening to a very tight 7 piece jazz band with a fabulous female vocalist! Our server, Mario, was amazing from start to finish. He was on point with our wine selections. For DineLA they were offering a 5 glass flight for $25 with an option to pick what we liked. We all decided to pick our own and Mario who was only here for 1 week, (hard to believe:), helped us make our 5 selections. He was extremely attentive and was always there presenting the bottle when our glasses were drained. Hee hee... Silvia, was also helpful as well as Madison, who remembered me from the yelp event. She came up to our table to say hello. They make you feel very comfortable here! I ordered a margarita pizza (to die for! Perfect amount of cheese to sauce ratio and the crust was soft and crunchy at the same time) YUM!!! I also ordered an arugula salad with cherry tomatoes, shaved Parmesan w/balsamic dressing. It was very good but just a tad too much parmesan for me. It took over the arugula. Entertainment was AWESOME!!!!! I could not help but dance in my seat. Also got a chance to sing a bit with the vocalist:) The dining area was packed with a great crowd of enthusiastic people! Fun night for sure! Highlights: *Our server Mario 5 stars!!! *Ambience/5 *Overall service - entire staff/5 *Food/5 *Wine/5 *Entertainment/5 Te-see's Tips: *there is a small service charge for entertainment (but so worth it) *Order one of their artisans pizzas, you will thank me *all wines are from their winery located in Sonoma Valley *outdoor patio rocks *plenty of street parking and a few lots near by *closed Monday and Tuesday Waah!)
I have never dined here or had a beverage. Except for some water and this is how I came to find one of Los Angeles's hidden gems. The atmosphere is amazing. I do wonder how everything else is. Please feel free to comment on your experience.l

This place is a 10/10. Starting with Geoff. I called in for a big table and he worked with me to make sure everything was taken care of. Talked to the manager to make sure I kept all costs down to a min. Now Ed. He made sure that everything went smooth. He was attentive and kept the party going. I loved dinning here and if you have a big event or even a small one. The atmosphere was perfect.
Service is excellent, ambiance is fantastic, and the wine was superb. We did a tasting and every glass was amazing. In addition, Rose (events coordinator) was super helpful and full of great energy! 10/10 recommend
I had to leave this review because I had such an excellent top-tier experience with the wine expert. Ronnie. The chef is absolutely amazing. The entire staff is great but the other night when I sat down, I literally had the best wine selection I’ve ever had ever the gentleman asked questions and he was able to present me a beautiful wine tasting and then before I walked out, he made sure to let me know that they had seven dollar bottles of wine And I was really happy to purchase one after my experience. I just gifted My Mom the wine. I’m so grateful and I had to leave this review if anybody wants to have a great time have a wonderful wine tasting and actually learned something with delicious food and service. This place is it

Went to Urban press last night for the first time, I wasn't sure what to get because everything looks so good, I ended up getting the beef tenderloin which my server Justin insisted I should get, and wow he was right! Food was great! Justin was great! Atmosphere was great. 10/10
We made a last-minute reservation for dinner here and were pleasantly surprised. At first glance, the restaurant seems quite unassuming, with its narrow entrance, but the space extends much farther back than expected. After winding through several hallways and staircases, we ended up on their charming patio—a cozy spot next to a faux-Tuscan wall complete with a fountain. The wine list, while small with only about six options, had a few decent selections by the glass. Service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The menu, rooted in Italian cuisine, offered a solid variety of starters and main courses. We began with fresh focaccia bread, which set a nice tone for the meal. I opted for the Manhattan-cut NY Steak, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. My wife chose the Fusilli Alla Norma and loved it. We capped the meal with a couple of cannolis, which left us thoroughly satisfied. Overall, the meal was on the pricier side, but the quality of the food and experience made it worthwhile. Can't give it 5 stars because of the limited wine list but still great nonetheless.
I went to the Urban Press Winery & Restaurant last night. Boy that place has really come into its own. It’s a legit Italian cucina. I’m pretty wine snobby. Their 2017 Grenache Blanc was light and bright. Nice balance of fruit and dryness. It paired perfectly with the Caesar’s salad. For the main course I had a 2013 Black Label Cab. Which was big and rich and had lovely tannins and was perfect with the Spaghetti. The Caesar Salad was on point. The you could taste the delicate blend of anchovies with the parmigiano. There was no shortage of Parm shavings. I had the Spaghetti Bolognese which was some of the best I’ve has in Los Angeles. For desert we had the Tiramisu and poached pair. The tiramisu was good, but the pair was outstanding. We ate in the patio mezzanine which had a pair of swamp coolers for the heat and heaters for the cold. The large Italian murals created a lovely scene. The service was excellent and I look forward to going back soon.

Had gone there before and the food was good. This time, prepaid and reserved for Valentines Day. Atmosphere was great but the food was below par. The appetizers were very mediocre. For example the menu stated “Heirloom tomatoes with burrata cheese”. Those were not heirloom tomatoes And the tuna sashimi was not very good. The entree was ok. Any way, was disappointed.
