Group of us stopped at Gyu-Kaku Japanese barbecue and we had an amazing experience. We all loved the barbecue meats as well as the different sakes. We got the house warm and a sparkling which were phenomenal. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend checking out Gyu-Kaku if you've never been I would love to come back.

Gyu-Kaku is one of my favorite places to eat while at the Burbank mall. The staff is always friendly and the service is always fast and efficient. The last few times that we were here we did the all you can eat, which is a great value in the staff to make sure that they are constantly checking in on you and that you are well said highly recommend the addicting cucumbers, as they are one of our favorites.

This place is so good. The meat quality is really good. We tried the basic all you can eat. Now this place is on the pricey side compared to korean ayces but it's a different experience. They do have more affordable meals which is great. My favorite was the toro beef and new York steak. However, everything was good. I highly recommend this place.

This place was so delicious and fun. They have great specials. The staff are nice and everything was clean. I definitely want to return. Even though I was full, I wanted to keep eating and trying food. Nothing bad to say.

The lunch specials at this place are fantastic, granted you have some time to et some cookin done...It’s fairly quick but still I don’t think you can consider it a quick bite. The menu and beer selections are great. The food seemed fresh. The beef rice was amazing. Probably my fav thing on the menu. The spicy beef also was full of flavor as well as the shrimp. I can’t wait to go back there soon. The rice tempura spicy tuna is not their specialty and I do not recommend you ordering it bec I was a bit disappointed with it, but I decided to focus on the really mattered and the rest was all great.

July 2019: Bumping up to 4 🌟. Came here again and liked the dinner better. Service was very good. BBQ was good. Also tried the ramen and it was not comparable to the ramen you would get at a ramen house. Dessert smores are a nice way to end a dinner! 👍 July 2018: Food was ok. Not the best Korean BBQ. Service was excellent!!

Attentive service, cuts of meat were not the greatest/most tender, vibes were all over the place as the music choices were questionable, ie: from tiktok music, to country, to pop. Unfortunately no longer serving duck meat. Salad dressing was a little too tangy, using thousand island. Parking is mid, depends what time you come could be difficult to find some locally. Although, prices range from just a quick meal to the full original kbbq style unlimited meat choices. Service was absolutely peak, my partner dropped her napkin and a server gave us more napkins without us having to ask almost immediately, necessary and quick grill changes, cleaning table frequently, etc. The server Kasey & manager Jocelyn took very good care of us. Never a dull moment, servers & manager are constantly running around ensuring safisfaction and definitely deserve the praise. Overall, meat is okay, prices are great, safety is their priority and servers are amazing. Will get a solid 8/10.

Great place where you grill your own food. The place has great service and the food was very tasty. You get a lot for what you're paying for. I had the "value course for 2 people" plus the spicy shrimps on the side. It was plenty of food for two people! Both of us could barely walk out of there.

Rio Enriquez (Kaimaka)

Very good place to have some delicious japanese style BBQ. This location is small, so if you have a big party, be prepared to wait to be seated. Staff is always on hand to take orders or replace the grills. They have a lot of choices of meats and vegetables even if you pick the base. Meats are deliciously marinated and they do have good sauces and delicious desserts. Out of respect please DO NOT stick your chopsticks in your rice bowls. TY

Haven’t been here since before the pandemic, still just as good. Great selection, great service today as well. Definitely prefer going when they’re not super busy. Looks like the menu hasn’t changed at all. I do wish they had more parking in the area though.

Dropped by for lunch. Everything tasted okay, all the meats were marinated. Since you cook the food yourself not much to complain about when it comes to cooking. Overall it's a solid 3 stars.
