SushiStop in Burbank is praised for its affordable prices, fresh sushi, and friendly service, especially from staff like Lindsay, Alec and Cole. Customers love the Dynamite Bay Scallop Roll and the happy hour deals. Some note price increases, but still consider it a great value.

I was stuck this last time around between their Spicy Pork Ramen and the Chicken Karaage curry. I went with their ramen and the flavor and spice were perfect. I also had the Yuzu roll with sriracha and the Karaage appetizer. The roll was enjoyable, especially with wasabi. The chicken Karaage was ok. I also got to try their spicy edamame which was packed with flavor. I will continue to go back for great food and friendly service.
Great prices here, and great sushi! When we came by it seemed like a large family visiting from Japan was eating there as well - that's always a good sign. They have a cool beer deal where you get to roll a die and depending on what you roll you could get discounted beer 🍺 This place is very close to the theater and I'm sure we will be back either before or after a movie sometime soon. Thanks for the great food!
SUSHI STOP WE HAVE A LOVE HATE RELATIONSHIP BUT I WILL TELL YOU THIS . I LOVE YOUR SUSHI I HATE THAT THE PRICES HAVE INCREASED ACROSS THE BOARD. I WAS SO USED TO $2.25 FOR A ROLL AND OR SASHIMI. If you look for quick fast flavorful cheap sushi. YOU CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. SOME ROLLS ARE SIMPLE some are elaborate. All in all to say is they have some great food for their pricing. DO NOT COME IN HERE LOOKING FOR MICHELIN STAR SUSHI. 🤣🤣🤣. THEY HAVE SOME AMAZING FRESH SASHIMI cuts packed with flavored sauces and dope combination hand rolls. The chicken teriyaki bowl is a staple. In my pictures i’ve posted some of my favorite dishes to get. The only thing I haven’t tried yet was the Ramen, but I’ve had almost everything else. They always have special and amazing deals for happy hour, no happy hour, and drink special specials. You can’t beat the pricing and the deals here with the best quality of the food sooo. If you happen to question what the sushi taste like this is an honest review that’s it’s BUSSSSSSSIIINNNNGGG
Came after a movie during a lunch and had three rolls and a miso. Lindsay was very friendly from the start and made sure I was always attended, the food was delicious for a quick bite to eat and will be trying the ramen next time. The cucumber in the sushi was a little to on the thicker side than what I’m used to but all very very fresh sushi and delicious!!
Very homey and comfy little Japanese spot. They have a lunch special daily for a great price as well. Hollie is an absolutely amazing waitress and was very attentive/kind during my experience dining here. Definitely recommend the chicken cutlet udon if anything! :)
Oh myy 😍 💖 The atmosphere was peaceful. Food was AMAZING. Prices were perfect, And the service - is top notch! 😘🤌🏽 My type of food and the servers and aura of the place just set it off. Such a nice lunch! Thank you guys! We will DEF be back!
Lindsay was amazing from start to finish! She kept on checking if there was anything I needed, whether it was more food, dessert, or new set of utensils. Really great service from her!
Thank you Lindsay for your excellent customer service! This place is a bit of a drive for me but it’s my favorite sushi place. Always worth it.
The sushi restaurant we visited was not only delicious but also had a fantastic ambiance with lively vibes. Our waiter, Cole, provided exceptional service, adding to our overall enjoyment. The food was truly amazing, leaving us eager to return soon for another dining experience. Prices were super affordable! There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like. It felt more like fast food type but sushi was quite good again I super impressed and super affordable. Thanks!
This was our first time trying SushiStop and we are so glad we did! First, all the staff were friendly and welcoming which was a great first impression. Then you have the food, which was full of flavor. I highly recommend trying the Dynamite Bay Scallop Roll. The restaurant and bathrooms were kept clean. We will be back!
Nice outside dining area, so sweet have hitter nearby for outside dining area. Food quality is very good and the happy hou $1 wine or beer or sake is my favorite. In the current high inflation environment, the prices of food here are really reasonable and the service staff's attitude was excellent, often coming over to ask about your experience.
Bueno, bonito y barato! “The fast food” of sushi without compromising quality or flavor. Also, without mentioning the amazing prices they have! My fav is their crunchy rice and pop corn shrimp! A great option to try a little bit of everything and enjoy a great meal!
I’m not sure why the reviews are so awful for this location. Sure, Pasadena is my favorite, but Burbank was still fresh and yummy! Three different servers tended to us, but all went smoothly. I’m sad that the blue crab hand roll is now completely gone at every location. It was lovely to sit outside!
We dinned in to SushiStop Burbank , Alec helped us , he was super fast, very professional and had great expedient service ! This is our 2nd time back and we will continue to come back
Stopped by after a movie to take advantage of the $9.99 lunch special deal! Yummy food, great prices, and excellent service. I’ll definitely come back and get another Poke Bowl!
Fantasy selection for sushi and ramen! Wonderful drink selection too. Coming back later for dessert will update! c:

The crunchy shrimp heads on the sushi were giving! The food presentation was cute and tasted good. I can't believe the prices are so low. Thank you Cole for the great service.

LOVE this place! The service is excellent! The food is always GREAT and the atmosphere is always FUN! I use to frequent the Los Feliz (their first) location pretty regularly many years ago. I am pleased to say even with the growth of the company the core values which make this place wonderful are still the same! Great food at a reasonable price with a super fun atmosphere! What more can you ask for?!
This is my favorite Sushi Stop location! Not only is the food amazing, but everyone that works here is so nice and helpful! The lunch specials are such a good deal and there’s always a good promotion going on. I regularly come here before/after a movie since it’s conveniently right across from the AMC. My go-to dining spot in Burbank!!
This was a spur of the moment stop, had time before heading to the movie theater. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted and not just just a generic greeting. The staff is friendly and very attentive, checking up and maintaining that attention that will surely have me back here again. Lindsay was great, recommended their spicy poke bowl, it was delicious! The kitchen staff produced every plate without falling behind. Sitting at the counter observing, impressed at how well they all communicate, they kept a very fluid service line to fulfill their orders and maintaining their attention to detail for each plates detail

The food was delicious, but the yellowtail collar ($11.27) was much smaller than I expected. It did come with a lovely salad, and perhaps for someone else, it would have been suitable, but it really did not have much meat on it. It was a very nice piece, though. The takoyaki ($4.86) was incredible - perfectly crispy and golden on the outside, soft and well seasoned on the inside. It was average sized but only 3 pieces. Most places I've been do 4, and that would have been preferable. There is only one piece of octopus in it, as well. This doesn't detract from the quality of the dish; it really was some of the best I've had recently. It's just notable as a point of comparison. Food got one star knocked off for the aforementioned reasons - I'd only do a half star, but it won't let me. Service loses a star because we ordered spicy garlic edamame ($5) right off the bat, but it didn't arrive until we were more than half done with our food. It was very spicy but good. It also took quite a long time to receive the check after we requested it. Our server, Alec, was very attentive and kind, showing us the menu and letting us know about the dessert, but the kitchen was a touch inconsistent in regards to time. Other items on the table included a salmon skin hand roll I am told was EXCELLENT ($5.61); a blue crab hand roll that was not great ($6.27); (fantastic) chicken kaarage curry ($17.75); and tempura shrimp and baked salmon rolls ("very good!") ($6.07, $6.27). Not pictured was an aburi shimesaba roll ($8.35) that knocked our socks off with the meaty quality of the Japanese mackerel, a Sapporo ($4.99) and a round of free matcha roll cakes for having left a review which were obviously kept frozen but still had very strong matcha flavor and was a refreshing end to the meal. We sat outside on the patio because the inside was full except for the bar. I think we came just at the start of the dinner rush, about 5:30 pm on a Friday night. Right next to the patio was a sort of alley leading to the parking structure, where someone was playing saxophone. They were pretty good, but they only played about 10 songs in a sort of loop. We were also directly opposite the AMC, and just down the way was a bustling collection of street vendors all lined up. As a result, the ambiance on the patio was relaxed but high energy - the vibes were chill, but the noise and bustle could be overstimulating for some. It was pretty nice, though, and even though it's hot out, it's surrounded by tall buildings so we were not in direct sunlight.

Got there at 8 on a Friday night - was seated instantly but waited about 20 minutes to actually have anyone come take our orders or even get us water. Once they did, our waiter, Riku, was very kind and apologetic that we had waited so long. Got a crispy rice, some rolls, and dessert. The portions were small and the flavors weren’t stand out but it was adequate. Wouldn’t go out of my way to go again.
