Opinions de Wienerschnitzel Burbank
Not bad for a fast food joint. Workers were nice and fast service.
People were very nice. Service was good. Left a article behind and when I went back the manager saved it and handed it to me.
Nicest Weinerschnitzel I've ever been to! The don't have a drive thru. They DO serve beer! And most importantly, they swipe that EBT!
I usually go here when I am craving Chilli cheese fries. It's one of the closest locations. They are always nice and offer fast good service.
Love the chili tamales and Chicago style hot dog. Too bad the tamales are only seasonal. U can buy their chili in a can for $5.
Yummy food, excellent service, let's us use more than 1 coupon at a time, beer on tap, plenty of seating inside the dining room and outside on the patio.
Asked to have my hot dog grilled well done and they did a great job. I will definitely eat here again.
Across the street from NBC studios in Burbank. Always really nice people working here. You never know who might walk in for a great chili dog or my favorite, chili cheese fries...yum...
Like it best for dogs...but now they have added tamales...and they are pretty good for not being a mexican style fast food...😁👍...if yu can folks try it..i think yurll b very surprised!!😁
The food was fresh, But the customer service was Great there was a woman who was very helpful and who made my first time being at wienerschitzel ... Not my last. Thank You Employees name Arelis Gonzalez ( Burbank )
Best Wienerschnitzel I've ever been to. Funny and friendly staff, chili cheese fries actually were ALL covered with c&c. I will be coming back to THIS one.
Can't go wrong with Weinerschnitzel. Visited after a not so filling brunch today. My partner got 6 corn dogs from a coupon that was prsented to him upon entering. Of course he ate them all. I had a few bites of his freshly made corn dogs and a soft serve ice cream dipped in chocolate. Friendly service amd delicious treats.
Love this Wienerschnitzel and they still sell beer! Close to the studios. Sadly no drive through. Plenty of other celebs eat here. At least the ones still willing to eat chili cheese dogs.
Classic taste but what’s really special about this particular Wienerschnitzel is the fact that it has BEER on tap!!! that’s right people I said beer on tap. We’re talking Modelo 805 and a couple more. Highly recommend stopping here.
I stopped here to pik up 2 cans of their chili...it's great & just $5/can. When I went inside I saw they had breakfast items. I bought a sausage egg & cheese breakfast burrito and the little hash brown type of potatoes...they were round & the size of a coat button. I liked the burrito. Their salsa took me a minute to decide if I liked it. Which I did. A lil bit different taste than what I was expecting. Mild which was good for me. I ate every bite. The hash brown buttons taste the same as most faat food places. So no surprises. Easier to eat being that small & they give you a fair amount of them. I'll most likely have breakfast there again. Their chili is excellent & I like the convenience of having a can or 2 in my pantry. Give it a try!
Fast friendly service, Outside seating across from NBC studios , Also feature Foster Freeze for ice cold treats , as well the serve Beer by the bottle .Nice little quik stop for a beer and bite , You can follow your favorite sports team or enjoy Frozen treats for your small ones in between a hot car trip .
Classic chili and corn dogs. With a few extras and excellent desserts on the menu, this place has it all... did I mention beer on tap! Plus discounts for 1st Responders, makes this place the best.
Quick food service, excellent customer service, excellent food quality and the servers we polite and the manager rocked the shop. The store is exceptionally clean and bathrooms were superior! Great Job Guys!!!!
I'm familiar with Wienerschnitzel but I wasn't grabbing a bite to eat this time...They had a restroom and they let me use it, no hassle.Very clean, Thankyou! Their food is great too, I love the chili chzfries burritos....
I was so impressed with the customer service here, Maria was wonderful! She made it a great welcoming atmosphere, Plus the hot dogs were delicious :) Overall the best Weinerschnitzel Ive ever been to!
The people there this morning were very kind and warm. I just got some fries. The fries were made hot and fresh. They also happily accept EBT here 🙏🏾✨
Food is amazing, prices are excellent, customer service and George so welcoming. Can't wait to come back soon. Thank you!
First time at a Wienerschnitzel, and I really enjoyed it! The bbq brisket sandwich is smaller than I anticipated, but it's packed with flavor. This hit the spot, and it was so clean there, too. Awesome job, guys.
I really enjoy Wienerschnitzel. The all beef hotdogs are very good!! The service is quick. There are very few places to dine in at this location. Also, very few parking spaces and some difficulty with the in and out of the lot. Can’t beat the food and prices though. A big selection to choose from including many creative menu options! Soft-serve ice cream treats as well.
Much wow! Great taste! Very haste! Stopped into this location for a quick morning snack, and I must say, I am blown away! The employees were friendly, the environment was clean and welcoming, and the food. The food is beyond words; it was prepared quickly, but it was also super fresh and hot! The flavor of the chili is great, has that kick, but not too much; it'll appeal to most tastes, but the flavor really seems to pop when it's super fresh, and it was so hot I felt a warming sensation as I swallowed every morsel, giving this warm fuzzy feeling in my tummy 😉 Choosing to snack here has been the best decision of the day, and I am confident the good vibes, and energy the food has provided will last throughout, making today the best day! Go live it! With ❤️!
I got a free rootbeer float on Father's Day, and it was a legitimate drink. Probably cost $10.00 any other day. I have 3 kids, and they are my best gift. But a free root beer float, who does that? My son and I ended up splitting the float cause it was huge, then did not eat our food. Thanks W
My favorite Weinerschnitzal. Actually the only location I will still go to. It is always good. My son and husband love it because they have beer on tap!
Wow! Just walk in and the entire staff says hello, good morning or afternoon! Their menu is very complete when it comes to the great world of hot dogs! And they don't bug you for a decision as they are super patient. When you get your order which is quick, it's out the door for eating pleasure! I return whenever I can.
Clean location with optional outdoor seating. I love the sports on a couple large screen TVs inside as well. Great price on draft beer, but they stop serving at 10:00 p.m.
I needed to go to Burbank today and on my way back home I spotted weinshernitzel to grab a Chicago plant based Veggie Dog, fries and a chocolate dipped cone! They have the BEST! The plant based dog is the best I’ve had and they add Sport peppers, onion, relish and a pickle spear. I always ask for ketchup too (lol)! The service is amazing, the restaurant spotless (A rating) and the atmosphere…well hey…you’re looking out into Burbank studios so… After I was done (I dogged it) I ordered the chocolate dipped cone and headed off into the sunset! Seriously…they have the best dogs around and plant based. There’s one relatively close to where I work and that’s equally amazing! When the staff and management are friendly and nice…and the food is always on par…it makes the experience even better!
Very nice place. Good food and great service. Love it ❤️
Food is as epic as always. Can’t beat the chili here. And to top it off, they have beer. I love that when I go it’s never too busy, but it definitely has a lot of foot traffic going in and out. Whenever I dine in, I see how many people get to go orders and I realize why this American establishment is still running strong. I believe in needing healthy, but I also believe in eating whatever you want. We have to deal with our own decisions, and once in a while, I love this decision.
This place was very clean when I walked in! I’m a huge restaurant critic so I was peeking behind the counter to look at the floors and prep stations and it was spotless! Literally smelled clean! As a southerner it’s very few places in LA that have good food (personal opinion) so being that this restaurant was familiar we decided to stop by. They cooked all of our food to order and the pineapple lemonade was lip smacking good! This is the only weinerschitnzel I go to in LA! Tried the one in Korea town - big mistake!
Staff is ok, but only the vets and managers seem to know a lot about their products. The coolest thing about this location is that they serve beer, even pitchers.
Caddy corner to the Burbank Studios (formerly NBC) this little place is great for a good, cheap meal! Look for coupons in the mail or Sunday newspaper for even bigger saving on everything from corndogs to chili-cheese fries 🍟
Staff is super diverse makes it a bit difficult to order. Food is good, a little spendy. Clean on the inside, cool vibes
A classic, nice updates and combos on the menu plus Foster's Freeze to finish you off. PLUS adult beverages if Mom or Dad had a hard day!
Quick, not so cheap hot dogs and fries when you really don't care about what you are eating! Decent enough, even with the specialty dogs and especially Pretzel Buns! Worth it; especially worth it if you bring a coupon.
Good place to get cheap fast food. We usually come here for the ice cream with a coupon which makes it like $1. Just a fun little place to get a treat not healthy, but what fast food is?
Service was fast food ok not the average Weinerschnitzel There was a TV on and all the employee's were on there phones. Hot dogs were cold fries super hot.
Nicer than some of their locations; there's a decent amount of indoor seating, and it's kind of like a low rent sports bar, between the TV sets and the beer on tap (thanks to the previous tenant whose license they kept).
I want to give him five stars but, is it just me or do they not cook their french fries all the way?! I eat here constantly (I put the fries in the oven when I get home) and absolutely love Wienerschnitzel, am I crazy?!
Chili cheese fries! I could live on them. So good and yummy. I've been tempted to try the chili dogs and corn dogs but I'm afraid that I will like it too much. Very sweet staff. Friendly and are always smiling.
The food tasted okay. The price was unbeatable!! Paid 8.49 for a small salad at whole foods. Paid 8.49 for 2 corn dogs and 3 sausages + a drink. Great value!!
There were 3 employees in the store. The cashier, who did great with greeting and charge for the order. I ordered the daily special chilli cheese beef dog and added jalapeno poppers & a small chocolate dipped ice cream cone. The women filling the order handed me a bag with the beef hot dog in it and nothing else. I checked the bag and only saw the box with the hot dog. I had to get their attention and ask for the poppers. They checked my order and gave me the poppers. Then, I had to ask for the ice cream cone. They weren't even that busy! Just very unprepared and scattered for some reason. Saturday, September 30, '23 around 11:30 AM Burbank, CA
Great for fast food hot dogs and stuff in a pinch! Got a free classic Sundae for Father's Day! They also have coupons for deals on individual and combo items. We stop by every now and then. Cool seating inside and outside. Parking and restrooms available for customers.
Good time to go is an hour before lunch time. No one was there when I ordered my lunch. Small waiting area inside during this time of the pandemic. So, if you go when its crowded, it would be best to wait outside near your car or out in the patio area. No drive thru so one star is deducted. Otherwise. Food is good for the price and quality.
Fast food specializing in hot dogs. The place doesn't allow inside dining yet. The employees are nice. They remembered to offer condiments and as a side note, drinks are not self serve.
Friendly staff, clean, good food & good carbonation in the sodas. The staff engaged me in friendly conversation and also suggested other items without being pushy. 2 TV screens on different sporting events. Pet peeve is when you're in a relatively small establishment and all the TVs are on the same event. Different events give you the choice of picking you're seating view based on the event you're most interested in.
It's Weinerschnitzel. They got my order correct. They were friendly and the place was relatively clean.. Not much else you can say
The service is great. Everyone was very nice.
Took 15 minutes for an order for 2 people during lunch. Food was good but wasn't hot.
Something about this place reminds me of my childhood.. the food tastes the same after all these years, and the dipped in chocolate soft serve ice cream cones are an absolute must. Solid comfort food. Best desert. Mic drop.
Im so tired of listening to these places alwAys speaking spanish behind the counter. Not quietly but very loudly and obnoxiously. Loud laughing and often times whats being said is something derogatory or poking fun at a customer. Yes. I do understand alot of this language and I hear alot of suprising things come from peoples mouths while on the job. Always being around it most my life Ive learned alot. Bad for business and a very cowardly act by those who do the act of speaking in a language in effort to hide what they are saying. That goes to say thats not only here but most these places. I will say the older hispanic gentlemen of the group maybe in his 40s (forgive me if im way off) who help me was very proffessional and polite which is why I give three stars. The other employees did not seem to take to seriously the one customer in line. I believe one person was in training but that still only reinforces the importance of acting as if it was your business and wanting it to succeed. Alot of these workers want $15 hourly to bad machines are now taking what once use to be a students job to pay for expenses while in school. Not a career path that machines will soon be doing. My grading scale is more than fair. 1 employee earned it 3 stars. The others lost it two.
Little dirty when I go in evenings. Always feel like sanitizing my shoes when I leave. Not sure why cups are wet when they are handed to you???
$3 Deals are actually pretty decent. Depending on the day of course 😜 Customer Service is spot on!! 👍🏻 👍🏻
Great service and good food. I loved the chilli dogs. The bathrooms are not good and overall cleanliness on the dining room was just passable. The ketchup packets were all sticky.
Sad to say. Usually good, but order was wrong, food did not taste good.. felt like we ate left overs. Old and soggy. Ordered with chili on yyhe chicken sandwiches, no chili on either, yet we paid extra for it.
The 3 stars are strictly for the customer service. Very nice people behind the counter, and a clean restaurant. Food is just not that good unfortunately. You can taste that it comes frozen, and much of it is just microwaved. I wanted to like it, but I just couldn't. So great job to the employees, bad job to the company for tasteless low quality food.
Late night quiet visit. Been ages since I've been there. Hot Dog with mustard and onions, corn dog, and tater tots. Not incredible. Just fine. I think I have too many memories of over-the-top corn dogs at the fair.
Guess I'll never be a hot dog fan. I had a chili cheese all beef hot dog; it was a bit on the rubbery side. The Reese's Candy Shake was enough to get me to visit again. Oh the cashier was very hospitable.
Don’t bother with pork on top of a hot dog. You only get 1/2 of a Teaspoon! Not even a bite! Also, you must ask for more of a teaspoon of chocolate sauce in a sundae. Obviously the owner only believes in teaspoons. Too bad.
On national hot dog day, this place was advertising 4 chile hot dogs for $4. They charged my son and I full price. They also added onions on two out of four hot dogs from my son's order. My son asked for a polish sandwich but wasn't charged and he was sad because he didn't get what he asked for. I asked to have the order for here, twice because I don't think the male cashier understands or could hear. I ended with a bag to go! 😡
As far as fast food goes, this place is average. We were craving chili dogs, so why not partake in the 5 hour $5.99?! Pretty large parking lot. There is inside and outside seating. We placed our order, and grabbed a table. The place was fairly clean. Our wait time seemed pretty long for 5 hot dogs (they were more like luke warm) and a small order of fries (under cooked). Not sure how something could take so long and still be undercooked. We had to ask for mustard, ketchup and napkins. I mean... It's a hot dog place, why don't they have condiments in pumps?! No-one stood out. Bonus...They serve beer! No drive thru though.
The service was quick and friendly. The two Chili Cheese Dogs were of mediocre quality. The ingredients for the sauce must have changed since my last visit three years ago. Overall a fair trade for the money spent.
The food was fantastic but the service was a little rude. They could have cared less about my well being. But I enjoyed my lunch! I mentioned the ice was empty and I got up 10 minutes later and it was still empty. It wasn't busy at all. Another reason for the stars is the cleanliness, wasn't very clean. Not terrible but not the best. Could use a lot of work.
Very limited selection for a person who can't eat chicken or chili. They used to have beef corn dogs, now only one or maybe two items to choose from. Also the beef are not available in any of the specials.
The owner had weird rules. My grandpa loves to tip when he gets good service and it's not allowed. This is a hard industry. I can't think why that being allowed to receive tips would be a bad thing. It bums out my grandpa.
The food could've been hotter. The fries were slightly old. Price and portions are ridiculously high. Not impressed, but we did have our food delivered to the table. I didn't expect this, however, we were the only ones present.
Unfortunately we got them hotdogs that had been sitting on the grill for an hour or so. The hotdogs were like beef jerky. Definitely a hard pass at this spot ever again. Go to Pinks if your craving hotdogs
BEWARE: I am writing to share an issue I experienced yesterday at the Wienerschnitzel location in Burbank, CA. Yesterday 2/9/25, they offered a Super Bowl special : 7 chili dogs for $7. That's a great deal...I love their chili dogs. But when I paid, I discovered that they are overcharging their customers. I ordered the 7 for $7 deal - that's all I ordered. The cashier rang it up and told me my total was $8.98. I asked why it was $8.98 and she told me it was tax. I explained that tax is only 10.25% and the total should be approx. $7.71. She told me that the register /computer told her my total is $8.98. Again, I explained that was impossible and I did the math for her. She then messed around with the register and told me my total was now $7.98. I explained that this total was also incorrect and too much tax was being charged, but I would pay since it was close enough and I needed to leave. When I received my receipt, I first noticed that she was charging me $23.83 for the 7 chili dogs, then they subtracted $16 for some sort of discount and then charged tax and it somehow came to the strange amount of $8.98. Then, below that it was voided and a new order was listed. This time it showed 7 chili dogs for $7.70, then they issued a .50¢ discount...making it $7.20 plus tax which came to $7.98. So, after I caught them trying to charge me $8.98 for a meal that should only cost $7.71, they charged me $7.20 for a meal that should be $7.00 and then they charged me tax for $7.20...which came to $7.94. When I asked why I was being charged $7.20 rather than $7.00, all the cashier could do was shrug her shoulders as if saying, "I don't know." So in the end, Wienerschnitzel in Burbank ended up with an additional .23¢. I know it's not a lot of money, but how many times have they done this to me and I have never caught it? How many times have they done this to other customers? How much money does this add up to every year? This is a dishonest practice! It is plain old STEALING. I am saddened because I really enjoy their food, but I will no longer give my money to a restaurant that plans to steal money from their loyal customers. Shame on you Wienerschnitzel Burbank.
I'm so upset. I got my husband his galaxy note 8, 3 months ago as a gift for his new job promotion. And today he was craving ice cream. Point is he forgot his phone at wienerschnitzel. He thought he left it there maybe 20-30mins after not realizing it was not at home. We live 2-3 houses from wienerschnitzel on HOLLYWOOD WAY IN BURBANK CA 91505. So as he was walking up to the restaurant he asked the man outside if someone turned in a phone (he was taking a case off a phone and immediately put it in his pocket when he saw my husband) he just signaled him inside so my husband met him inside. When my husband recieved the phone and he got back home. It was missing the sim card. I immediately walked back there and asked to talk to manager who was so nervous and scared. And wouldn't give me cooperates number. Called the owner and the owner said he'd get back to me I BELIEVE HIS NAME IS PATRICK A REAL OWNER WILL TALK TO HIS CUSTOMERS BECAUSE CUSTOMERS FEED YOU!. Point being. The manager knew how take sim Card out and knew how much tmobile charged for a new one. I don't think a customer (because i use to be an assistant manager for dog haus and many phones were left behind. Not one was touched. When a customer would turn it in. It was given back just like they left it. EVEN WHEN IT WAS A BRAND NEW RELASE) would turn a phone in. Without sim? HMMM WEIRD BUT OKAY. I am most definitely making this a big deal because the guy was so nervous he was sweating! And only God knows with how much sacrifice I got that phone. ( yes my husband messed up. But when I forgot my NOTE 9 in 7eleven on Hollywood way a customer turned it in untouched and it took me 2-3hrs to pick it up and it was just like I left it. Not turned off. WITH NO SECURITY CODE ON IT JUST LIKE KY HUSBANDS PHONE) mind you the manager at wienerschnitzel turned my husbands phone off 🤷♀️🤦🏻♀️ BUT THAT'S OKAY IM NOT GONNA REST UNTIL I SPEAK TO THE OWNER AND CORPORATE! Don't give them your money. Give your money to an honest wienerschnitzel who has an awesome owner who actually cares. We are DONE GOING THERE!
Love their chilli dogs since I was a kid. Perfect size, not too small, not too big. This is ONLY place in.town that sells chocolate dipped ice cream coned. And they are open late. Mishell , Toluca Lake CA
Overheard the health inspector say there's black mold in the ceiling and the owner makes the employees mop the walls with brooms and seems strung out.
Their hours of operation is not right. It's says it opens at 8am on Saturdays but it doesn't open til 9am. Also it was just 10 mins til they open and they would not help me til 9am. I thought you would go out of your way for customers satisfaction.
One of ther employee rude the one with tattoo neck. Money is 50 and he gave me change back 2.00 some cents.the price is over price.look
Bad customer service. Check your your bag before leaving . Place are not clean at all. Very dirty oil ( black )The manager need to go back to school and need to learn how to treat costumers.
I am sad! I was craving one of their signature corn dogs so made the drive over from work on a rainy Sunday night. So there is no drive through and I had to wait for my order to be taken even though I was the only person at the moment. My order came quick however I wish that they had cooked them a bit longer as the coating was mush not crispy like I like and they had absolutely no flavor! I guess another classic from my childhood is dead! BTW corn dogs are 2.19 now they are also dogfood!
I really like their BEEF hot dogs and root beer floats. However, this review is about the manager at this location. Today I ordered an ice cream cone and handed the manager a $5 bill. He raised the bill high above his head and carefully looked it over. When finished, he handed me the bill and declared it was counterfeit. The bill was given to me as change at CVS who I personally believe have counterfeit procedures in place. I asked how he determined the bill is counterfeit. He explained that when raising the bill to the light there isn't a specific stamp that appears on all genuine bills in addition to three vertical lines that he said were not visible when he conducted his "test." I told him I understood but added that I disagreed with his assessment and would visit my bank after leaving Wienerschnitzel. A few minutes later, I drove to Chase Bank in Toluca Lake and explained to a teller of what I had been told by the manager. She placed the bill in a machine that detects counterfeit currencies. She returned and said the bill was NOT counterfeit and newly issued. I called the manager while I was still at the bank and after advising him of the teller's determination, he simply responded with "Oh." I suggest the owner of this location provide his manager with in-depth training as currently he is incapable of differentiating between a new, legally-issued bill and a counterfeit bill and is unusually glib to what creating a positive customer experience entails.
Very rude service! Tried to give me an order that wasn’t mine and tried to argue with me. The corn dog was sitting on the try that someone else had put up there. Same open corn dog sitting on the tray no wrapper, no napkin nothing. Just a used open corn dog sitting on the tray with some other food. Fries were cold. Horrible horrible service
Tell me why as im ordering food a roach starts running in the counter. I canceled my order and walked out. Wish I would have snap a picture. Wouldn't recommend this wienerschnitzel
This location is extremely unsanitary! I just witnessed the cashier taking out the trash, she had the big garbage can and was getting the trash bag out and taking it out. She comes back in, pumps some hand sanitizer on her hands and gets ready to take my order. I have witnessed these very cashiers, handle cash and then use those same gloves and go and prepare food. I had to walk out.
