Opinions de Texas Roadhouse Burleson
My most recent visit was with my son for dinner on a Wednesday and it was awesome! From the food to the service, we really enjoyed ourselves! Thank you Shairy for making it even better! 🙏 This is the best location around and close to my house.
I want to personally recognize Yissell. She is the best waitress we have ever had at Texas Roadhouse. I also want to thank Manager Hanna for taking care of our only issue tonight. Great place. Great service! Bread could use a little attention. All 5 baskets on the counter were over cooked. Other than that everything else was a solid 5 star rating.
Edit: Anthony was very professional, contacted me and I explained why happened. Offered to fix the issue and I can say that I appreciate that very much. Looking forward to the next visit at this Roadhouse. Highly disappointed with our visit yesterday (January 19th). First off, there was a disgusting fly buzzing around our table, we were seated near the walkway for the kitchen, and that was annoying. We also ordered an appetizer of shrimp, and i kid you not, after waiting almost an hour, we got our steaks and the kids’ food and the appetizer had still not arrived. The fries that were used yesterday looked like the frozen ones from Walmart, not steak fries at all. The steaks we ordered medium well and were grey all the way through. Definitely see why there are lost of bad reviews for this location vs the Hulen one. Very disappointed
We used the To-Go feature on their App. We chose the Family Meal ($54) of 4 Sirloin Steaks (2=8oz/2=6oz), Mashed Potatoes with Cream Gravy, Green Beans, Caesar Salad & Rolls (12ct.). We added a Blooming Onion ($8). Everything was packed correctly (a server goes over your order with you), delicious & at a Great price. 4 Adults ate & were satisfyingly full for under $70 with tax, now you can't beat that!
We had like a 20 minute wait but that was no problem. The waitress was very friendly, patience and attentive. We had a pretty large group and she kept checking in. They don't sing happy birthday but will announce it. The food was good, some of it wasn't hot but room temperature. Overall, we had a great time.
Hold your horses, folks, because our recent trip to Texas Roadhouse was a good time, earning a solid 5 star review! We ventured in on a bustling weekend, right before Memorial Day, and braced ourselves for a long wait. To our pleasant surprise, we were seated in less than five minutes! Talk about speedy service! Our server, Felicia, was an absolute gem. She was incredibly attentive, super friendly, and just a genuine joy to have around. Seriously, she made our dining experience even better! Now, let's talk food! I dove into the fried catfish, which was perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious. My sides, a crisp side salad and a loaded sweet potato, were spot on the sweet potato was generously sized and superb. My dinner date opted for the chop steak, smothered in savory onions and sautéed mushrooms, with a rich brown gravy. It came with a side salad and a loaded baked potato. The steak was incredibly tender and cooked to a flawless medium well, just as requested. And that loaded baked potato? A match made in heaven! We capped off our meal with the apple pie a la mode, and let me tell you, it was the perfect sweet ending utterly delicious! Overall, this was a fantastic experience. Despite the pre holiday rush, the restaurant felt clean and the staff handled the volume like seasoned pros. We never felt rushed or like an afterthought, which is a huge plus on a busy night. We'll definitely be back for more of that Texas Roadhouse magic!
We went there today for the first time. At first I was a little skeptical. Saw some bad reviews. I was shocked. We were seated promptly. Server Jose took us to our seats. He was polite and pleasant. He said this is his second week. He did amazing. Food was fresh and good. Everything was down in a timely manner. We definitely will go back.
Had a gift card so wanted to go out for a steak with the family. We arrived around 6 and even though the parking lot was full, we were able to be seated quite quickly (table for 4). The waitress took our drink order promptly and returned with the drinks. I ordered a 12oz steak with a baked potatoe and a Cesar salad. The salad came first and was dressed with an appropriate amount of dressing. When the meal came, my steak was cooked as I ordered it and was seasoned well. We had a little money left on the gift card so we ordered a brownie for dessert. I only got a couple of bites since my family fought each other over it. Honestly, this was a good meal and exactly what the family was looking for.
We like sitting at the bar! This was our first visit to the Burleson location, and I prefer this location much more! The decibel level at the Mansfield location is too much sometimes! The bartender was extremely friendly, and attentive. I ordered the Ft. Worth Ribeye steak ( medium rare), buttered corn, and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. The steak was great, cooked perfectly, but the potatoes were a bit watery. The manager swapped it out immediately.
First time at this location. It was kind of busy but we got quick seating and nice service. The drinks were not good and I had a taste for ribs but they were out. But other than that that things were okay and consistent. Presentation could be a little better but food portions were good. Would try this location at a less busier time but think I will stick to the one I normally go to.
Stuffed us in this small room that was way to cold. Felt like we were in the overflow lot. There was plenty of seating. My steak had to go back very fatty and had some vains running through it. Had to send it back got another that wasn't much better but I was hungry. In my opinion the manager should have made it right. She was a young lady who i guess didn't know any better. The potato skins were not cooked properly. The cheese wasn't even melted. No tomato sauce for the mozzarella sticks. Also being in that ice box of a room all the food got cold almost as soon as it hit the table. Very bad experience for a good place. But i guess that's what happens when you leave Kids in charge. Very disappointed.
Yesterday - Steak was dry, waitress was wonderful and attentive, way too loud in that place! Super overstimulating. Very loud music and TV’s going. Got there at 3pm. I was having dinner with an out-of-state friend. At about 5:30 one of the managers came by and asked us if we needed anything else( we didn’t have the chance to answer )and then she just abruptly cleaned everything off our table including my water and unfinished beer. She didn’t ask if we were finished. 6pm -another manager and employee came by and said they need to turn the tables for dinner but we can go to the bar. They gave us free appetizer coupons, which was nice but not necessary. I have never had that happen before at any restaurant. Not impressed and I won’t be back.
The filet was very good! They also followed my special request for no seasoning on the meat. I didn't approve of serving the corn in a chipped container. They're not supposed to due to food borne illness from bacteria and possible porcelain or glass in the food. So, I avoided the corn. The rolls were excellent and came with a sweet cinnamon butter. Maybe you need to ask for regular butter? I prefer regular but I didn't ask for any. We had the combo appetizer with potato skins, jalapeno cheese and boneless wings. It was pretty good. It's not as expensive as other steak restaurants and was good for a decent meal. The restroom was clean and stocked which is always appreciated. It was busy even for a rainy evening and with how budget friendly it is I can see why. Our server was very nice and attentive. It is noisy, and it looks like they have a good bar with several sports on the televisions. So, if you're more of a rowdy crowd type, this is the place.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this truly ruined my day. Placed the order to go at 5:30 pm to avoid the chaos and came to pick up at 7pm. I did not end up leaving until almost 9pm. I was told that they somehow lost our order after they told us it was being bagged up. When I finally received my order half of the food was missing. I get home and my steaks aren’t even cooked. I asked for ALL of them to be cooked well done. It looked fine on the outside, but when we got home and cut it— it was bloody and red. Only one worker seemed to provide a good service. Everyone else was in the back on their phones, eating, etc. I am beyond upset and I understand it is a busy holiday, but this is why I placed the order in advance. Seems like they only “remade” the steaks by placing it in the grill for less than 5 minutes then bagged it up. I can only hope they improve their service next time. Except for the kind young man.
Worse ever at the Burleson I35 location. Complaints not taken seriously. Overcrowded parking, at 7 PM, Poor service, Extremely high Volume Music, Noone in our group of 4 got their food correctly, rolls were undercooked. Restrooms needed attention, had to have bill adjusted as they had put someone else's food on our ticket. We have eaten at various Roadhouses, like close to 20 different locations over the past 25+ years, and this was by far the worse we ever had. We have no plans on continuing with the Burleson location even though it's the closest drive for us. They brought us 2 different orders that we didn't order, was poor at checking back with you. The meals that we got were undercooked and had to be redone, yet even at that they didn't give you a new steak properly prepared; they simply had you keep your potatoes and vegetables to get cold while they made an unhealthy, possibly contaminating fruitless attempt to take your steak back & reheat / cook it. If we had slobbered on it, how good is it to put back on the grill and if it is to be cooked based on temperature and resting time, how can anyone make proper adjustments to get it right. If we had waited for butter and other items requested or wanted another beer or something, we literally could still be waiting and we were there 5 days ago. When finally reaching the manager yesterday, his "Sorry" response fell short when he extended his apologies by trying to justify how great he believed they were in the means of top notch service and food tastes, etc. In his opinion they were top of the Roadhouse chain. Again, 25+ years dining at at least 15 locations, we were always fairly to greatly satisfied so it's my opinion that Burleson's location is at the bottom of the list. Good Luck if you try it.
The culture of looking down at a certain type of clients at this TX RoadHouse must change.Me and my family have had numerous bad experiences which we addressed in the past and moved on…today was my birthday and my family wanted to have a happy evening and my 7 year old son requested our server to put a team together to sing for me (they did it to another person) which she did not agree to under the pretext that they might be busy and that if they have free servers they would do it…when it was time to leave,4 or five servers including our server (McKenna) were standing there and they didn’t bother to do anything about it,but they happened to sing to another person near our table. Your service is awful and your treatment towards us communicates that you somehow pick and choose whom you serve with honor and dignity. We shall never set our feet in your restaurant even if we have been coming there since the time you opened. We haven’t had this type of l issues in other Texas Roadhouse restaurants,it’s only here and it shows the kind of culture that your leadership is cultivating. Money is money regardless of who brings it. You simply ruined my day!
Went to celebrate my granddaughter's sweet 16 it was an awful night. Steak was overcooked, the waitress started taking our food we were not done with and was taking it home. Very rude to start taking food from table without asking we had a whole onion blossom she took it after we just asked for to go boxes for everything. They charged for kids drinks when menu said they were included. I won't be back.
Let me start by saying... Texas Roadhouse is one of my absolute favorite restaurants! I've been to them all over the state and always enjoy the food and service however, BURLESON is consistently HORRIBLE! Do yourself a favor and choose a different one. On my last visit there i ordered a medium rare ribeye and received a jerky ribeye... like HOW? So they took it back and brought a properly cooked one that was full of gristle. We just paid and left instead of complaining AGAIN.
We were called to be seated and our table was giving to someone else which was verbally communicated by the host and the manager. No big deal , we were giving a new table within the minute. Pretty usual to get sat down with their awesome rolls but I could see during waiting to get sat that they were clearly behind on fresh rolls. We get sat down and the server takes our drink and appetizer order and we ask for bread. About 15-18 minutes later after seeing many tables around us get rolls delivered to them more than once we finally get our first basket. And unsurprisingly we receive extremely dry , overcooked rolls with a sad excuse for butter. Definitely going back to the old reliable SW 820/Hulen location.
We ordered kids meals and adult meals, and the portions were honestly pitiful. The kids’ chicken tenders looked nothing like what’s advertised — extremely small pieces with barely any food, especially compared to the menu photos. Definitely not worth the price. My catfish entrée arrived with no lemons at all, which is standard and expected with catfish. On top of that, my Caesar salad was practically empty and had one single crouton in it. One. Overall, the food quality, portions, and attention to detail were extremely disappointing. Texas Roadhouse used to be reliable, but this visit completely missed the mark. We won’t be returning.
We went to Texas road house for a quick date night the service was horrible from the girl with the blonde hair who sat us at our table she had a attitude & our waitress ended up being horrible as well she kept rushing off & when we asked for things it seemed like a problem i had to pour out the butter for the rolls in the clear container to put my a1 sauce in to go! the a1 sauce bottle was empty she watched me struggle to get some out so my fiancé got up to find me another bottle she didn’t even offer me a lid after she saw me pour it i had to ask another waiter for one as i was leaving out the door holding it in my hand it’s just a lot of entitled teenagers with poor customer service running around the place the manger really should call a meeting and create a stricter work environment cause they don’t care at all about the customer experience please do better! Overall the steak was good but our sides was cold
We ended up walking out, which was hard to do since we love Texas Roadhouse. It is the holidays and we expect wait times etc. Those things happen everywhere. What went wrong for us was we joined the waitlist ahead of time and were told to go to the host stand. We were told to go stand with another couple on deck. That was odd, but fine. Then after waiting they told us they had a table. We followed a really nice woman to a table that they were literally seating another two guests. So she told us to go back to the hostess stand. No explanation was given or apology. We were told again just to stand by. After another 10 minutes they managed to find us a table in the tiny room when you first walk in. After waiting another 5 minutes our server showed up and told us she would be with us soon. After taking refill drink orders from the other two tables she took over drink order and appetizer order. Everything seemed fine. Another 5 minutes and the manager comes by to ask what our drinks were because the server just forgot. I asked the manager if this was how we should expect the night to go and she completely dismissed the fact that I told her what all had happened. It isn’t about forget two drinks, but the whole experience was terrible. We decided to leave so we could save ourselves the frustration and to allow them to serve other guests.
Terrible service I will not be back , none of the rolls were fresh , I ordered a burger and TOOK 2 BITES and it was supposed to be medium well and it came out medium as hell , I sent it back , they put the SAME Patty on the grill and cooked it longer. They gave me a new bun and slapped a piece of American cheese on top ….. like seriously you just cross contaminated the grill with my germs ! Instead of just giving me a whole new burger you risked it all to be cheap , there’s no telling how many times this has been done .
