Royal Donut Cafe

The perfect breakfast burrito, 9 out of 10. It would be a 10 if they had fresh red or green salsa, like they do in New Mexico, Arizona and SoCal. The ingredients were sublime, the eggs perfectly fluffy.

I got the classic eggs Benedict. So so yummy. The pancake was the best I've ever had. Get the country potatoes (vs the hashbrowns); they have more flavor. Good service and reasonable prices.

Great place for breakfast. Visited 2 days in a row. First time just when they orened and service was great. Second time on Saturday with more customer and more stressed service. But still a great little place.

This is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places to eat. Classic, simple, and tasty comfort food. This place serve omelets, Benedict, scrambled eggs, sandwiches, pancakes, burgers and of course DOUNUT. The services here are lovely, very nice people and positive. The atmosphere is classic dinner look, open kitchen, with beautiful and tasty dounut shelf for you to pick. This place is not only taste good but affordable too. Go give it a try!

Was looking for an American breakfast and with surprise I found amazing amalgam of many cuisines. Portions are tasteful and sufficient! Very friendly staff! Definately coming back next time I am in the town! Sitting is proper diner style plus some regular tables. Selection of coffees and donuts are great too!

We love this place. Since finding it, we try to come here if staying in San Francisco. Thanks to United airlines incompetence on many occasions, we’ve been able to have a dedicated breakfast place near the airport that has consistent food and EXCELLENT donuts! The staff, the cooks, perfect for a little cafe. Don’t be alarmed if you need to add salt or pepper, but every dish we’ve ordered has been fresh, well made and hearty while being healthy. For a breakfast dessert, we always get the soft, fluffy, excellent donuts on sale - these are a refreshing change from the big commercial chain operators. Highly recommend and will always come here if the chance arises. *** we usually order eggs Benedict or plain eggs, side order of bacon or biscuits and gravy and cappuccinos. If one of your party has an obsession with food, it is a pure delight to watch the cooks do their magic.

The food and service was really good. I got the Mexican omelet with country style potatos and my wife got the Delight Special with a waffle. They have a nice old school diner vibe to them that we really enjoyed. I was gonna get a donut, but was too full from breakfast. Really hit the spot! $36 before tip. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast if your looking for something. Probably gonna go back to this area for dinner, there is a lot of options and it just feels like a cool area of town.

Top top it off; amazing donuts and treats. It has the classic diner appeal, and the people here are authentic & welcoming! The place I’m staying is located about a half hour away (according to maps), but the view along my walk made it pass by seamlessly and was worth it!

I absolutely love getting their pancakes and hash browns — perfectly cooked and full of flavor every time. The coffee? Hot, fresh, and delicious — exactly how it should be. Shoutout to Terry and David — both are simply amazing! David gives such great customer service and always makes the visit enjoyable. The whole staff has a great sense of humor and makes the experience even better. This place is a gem. Highly recommend!

Fantastic. Everything was spot on. At 6:30 am - I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. One of the best that I can remember having in years. My husband ordered eggs with bacon, sausage, hash browns. He loved everything. Really good coffee and donuts were delicious. We took donuts home to our neighbors and they loved them. Service was just great. I highly recommend this great little cafe/donuts shop. It will be our go to before all flights out of SFO.

I love small venues and this was amazing! The food is excellent and the service is great. The best omelette (ham/cheese/veggies/jalapenos) I've had in years and I travel a lot!!!!! 5* omelette name was FIRE & SMOKE and I substituted ham instead of Cajun sausage

Humble, hometown, but wears big pants when it comes to generous serving size and, in my opinion as an eggs benedict snob, consistently excellent perfectly cooked poached eggs for the #19 spinach, tomato, and bacon eggs benedict. P.S. The breakfast burrito fills the plate and easy serves two. Fast friendly welcoming service. Go here, get real good food, leave happy.

Today I had the experience of enjoying food from this local joint, It was recommended. It's really packed, it's a restaurant!!! The food was good, it's American style. I did not try the doughnuts, but I will next time I come.

The bacon is too well done, and for Chinese people the portion is too big. The French toast is alright, but too oily.

A simple donut shop in a awkward, downtown location...but i guess thats how it is here in millbrae Good dine in space with plenty of bar seating ...very 'locals' themed. Walj your dog, take a stroll, stop in for a donut, grab some coffee type vibe For peiple not from the area.... not alot donuts to choose from, very basic selection

The food was really good, the wait staff was good initially, our server was great and perfectly attentive. I can't give a 5 star though, near the end if the meal one of the waitstaff, possibly a manager gave a really unwelcome vibe and it made us uncomfortable enough to leave without getting the dougnuts we planned on to end the meal.

I've had the donuts here and they are good. But I was out walking my dog a few mornings ago and wanted to go in and get a donut and a coffee. They have a sign on their door saying no animals. They also do not have anywhere to sit outside. So they did not get my business that day.

Donuts are decent. They have gotten smaller and more expensive. Service is not what I would want to see. Atmosphere is old furniture and no decor.

I cannot stand flavored coffee. It's obvious that the coffee maker is used to brew both flavored and regular coffee. Im going to be tasting fake hazelnut all day. Bleach. Breakfast was good, as was the service. But the coffee ruined it.

They need to take heed of how other restaurants will put the Nutella and whip cream off to the side so that it doesn’t saturate your waffle for delivery Recently, same thing, got myself a nice breakfast, which was OK but a little on the skimpy side with the potatoes which is unusual. Not bad though. However, the problem arises with the blueberry pancake I ordered for my kid, it arrives with no butter on the side no syrup. And then the look of disgust on my kids face when they take their first bite. So I take a bite and low and behold the blueberry pancake also has cinnamon and banana. Save yourself the grief, they couldn't care less about their service. When I placed my mobile order a day early and called 3 hours before pickup to adjust my time by 45 minutes, I was assured this would be handled. However, I received a call at my original pickup time saying the food was already prepared and couldn't be remade. The staff offered only explanations for the mix-up rather than an apology or any attempt to accommodate the situation. This was particularly frustrating since I had provided both my name and order number when requesting the time change, and had been told it would be adjusted. When I requested a refund of my tip due to the poor service, this request was initially ignored. It took multiple follow-ups just to get the tip refunded, which felt like an unnecessary hassle on top of the original problem. I had hoped to become a regular customer, but good service would have included honoring the agreed-upon pickup time change, acknowledging the error when it occurred, and making some effort to retain my business. Instead, the experience left me feeling like customer satisfaction wasn't a priority.
