The calamari appetizer was great onto my Fish and Chips, dinner that I had ample amounts of French fries and a large perfectly cooked piece of fish and a side of their wonderful cornbread. And its own hot piping dish. What a wonderful treat. The staff was friendly and attentive to our large 12 person party. They didn't miss a beat. I would return in a heartbeat. Enjoy!
The food was good, well seasoned and fresh! The drink was immaculate (I forgot the name but it was spicy, and I was a treat). Overall, the experience is one i will definitely repeat as the main course we bought was big enough to share between 2 people. By the cornbread was excellent!
My wife and I had a great dinner there last night. I had the hake and she had the fluke. Very well cooked fish. Their oysters were very fresh and plump. One of the best things I like about Row 34 is that it has a nice selection of IPAs. Went to the first one in Boston about six years ago and I’ve always recommended it to others. Burlington is very lucky to have Row 34.
I found this page using Google Reviews, and it exceeded expectations. We were able to make a reservation but showed up early and were seated right away. The seating was comfortable, multiple staff helped us throughout our time and were very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered from the raw bar and our waitress was able to provide excellent detail on what to expect with different types of oysters. All of the options on the menu sounded delicious, and everything we ordered came in large portions with a lot of flavor. They have an excellent beer selection as well. Overall prices were as expected. I highly recommend that if you're looking for seafood, this is the place
Presentation of the food was wonderful and it tasted as good as it looked. Service was great and super friendly. Our lunch was filling and the perfect portion. You must try the salmon lunch bowl.
Absolutely outstanding! The seafood was incredibly fresh, the flavors were spot on, and the service was beyond professional—attentive, warm, and efficient. The atmosphere was vibrant but comfortable, and everything from start to finish exceeded my expectations. Truly one of the best seafood dining experiences I’ve had. Highly, highly recommend!
This warm, cozy, and welcoming restaurant is new to us. My husband was craving oysters. Since I'm a vegetarian, we looked for a place that had a few choices I could have. We grabbed a late reservation and were seated right away by the friendly host. The lighting here is so lovely! Soft and inviting. The layout is thoughtful and comfortable. Our server took our drink orders and went over how to order from the raw bar. I tried their version of a Mai Tai, which was very tasty and not too sweet. My husband ordered a Bloody Mary, a good foil to the oysters, which came with lemon and a bleu cheese-stuffed olive. He chose multiple types of oysters, as well as some shrimp, and was happy as a... clam? (OK, dumb pun!) It was fresh, fresh, fresh! I ordered two small plates, which were really substantial - like outsized sides, not quite entrees. The burrata with focaccia came with a basil garnish and fresh pesto. It was a bit on the salty side, and I did miss having some tomatoes with it, but it was a fun take and the burrata was creamy. The real star was the roasted asparagus, nestled on a bed of creamy goat cheese with citrus segments and an amazing hazelnut gremolata. The flavors were perfect. There were some celery leaves sprinkled on top, which gave a surprising and fresh note to the other components. I could honestly order two plates of that and nothing else! I definitely recommend Row 34 - if you're veg and have seafood-loving friends, you can still have a wonderful meal here.
Our waitress was Olivia and she was the greatest! We will definitely come back, not just for the delicious seafood. But for the amazing staff.
Incredible meal and service! For appetizer we ordered some oysters, clams, and the red fish ceviche from the raw bar, all were fresh and delicious. For entree my wife got the whitefish croquettes, which were very tasty, but I wish a bit more of the sauce was plated with it. I had the homemade pasta with the oyster butter which was absolutely incredible! Super tasty, lots of garlic and lemon that left an incredible, long lasting taste with a bit of red pepper that added some nice heat to it. Absolutely a spot I'd come back to, already looking forward to my next Boston/Burlington visit!
I have been to the Boston and Burlington locations. They never disappoint. One of the best lobster rolls I have had, especially the bread roll (and I have had a lot!). The pasta with clams was also excellent and unique. Oysters are very fresh and the condiments very well prepared! I brought my family members from abroad to the Burlington locations and they can't stop talking about how good the food is! Lots of families with young kids there yet the atmosphere is still very nice and sophisticated! Advance reservation recommended, especially the Boston location.
Carly D was my server and she was phenomenal. Great service, unforgettable awesome food and ice cold beer. Next time in Burlington I'll make sure to pay them a visit again. The clam chowda is to die for!!!
Amazing staff, great food… the raw bar was the best!
If you like seafood, this is a must restaurant. Everything is fresh prepared so well in the service is top notch great ambience, and wonderful drinks. Little necks on the half shell, tuna Tatare, Lobster tagliatelle were amazing. Chuck
Rarely get the chance to make it out this way, when that happens I definitely try to get my hands on all three of these dishes Oysters, New England Clam Chowder, and Lobster Roll. This restaurant had all three which was a bonus. Exceptional!! Quality, Service and Price were all up to par. Waiter was very informative /knowledgeable of all of the variety of oysters and service was quick /polite. Too all the craft beer folks this place has a great selection from IPAs/Stouts/ Sours .
Fairly new raw bar and after work drink hot spot establishment located on the popular District Ave. High ceilings and open space makes this place a welcome spot for groups of all sizes. Notable bar scene and the drink menu is creative. Awesome beer list - I had the cidre (citrus and apple notes). Super fresh oysters (Wellfleet was the best) and Littleneck clams. Dishes to try: spicy tuna pate and the salmon crudo. I tried the tuna salad (not tuna steak) and fried oysters with french fries. So good!
This place is a solid 4.5, and worth rounding up to 5. Food is delicious. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Have been to this location a handful of times and will continue to come back.
It’s nice to see this icon set up an outpost in Burlington. We weren’t disappointed. The oyster selection, all local, was broader than anywhere else in except maybe the Grand Central Ouster Bar. The bread and butter was nice too, albeit the butter probably sweetened with honey(?). Shrimp cocktail (you get to choose how many you get) are a solid rendition, the cocktail sauce again being sweetened with something. Salmon tartare was excellent and served with potato and sweet potato chips that were strong enough to handle the load. Really nice flavor on the orange fish and an excellent mouthfeel. Both versions of the lobster roll, warm and cold, were excellent and I’d give the edge to the cold. Lotta lobster meat. Really nicely dressed. The roll looked very traditional but was sweeter than a traditional hot dog roll. In any case, it was really freakin good and worth the premium $’s. The roll itself is worth returning for. I’ll give a ding to the greens on the plate with the roll which were inconsistently dressed. Mine were overdressed and over seasoned and my companion’s greens were probably closer to correct. In any case I continue to fail to see the need to salt greens, anywhere. Desserts are, well, hefty and very shareable. Bring your appetite to dessert if you have aspirations of having one on your own. Seating is slightly tight at the tables and there were a couple of times when the server was handling the table next to us that their butt was just a little too close. But otherwise service was solid. Overall a solid meal, especially for Burlington, and one I’d like to return to.
Great place for business meetings. Cocktails and food are wonderful. My go tos are typically fried oysters, clam chowder, and banoffee pie (don’t do the deconstructed cookie). Can’t go wrong with the lobster roll either (though I think it’s to pricey). The clam pasta is wonderful — highly recommend.
This place is wonderful . Lot of seafood options and I love their drinks also . Best Peach Malibu I ever had . I highly recommend this place to the one who love seafood , so if you in Burlington please stop by and relax and enjoy your evening !
the food is always great here, and the service is above and beyond. celebrated a friend's birthday here today and the staff were extra on point. vegetarians have real options, the quinoa with sweet potato falafel was delicious and generous. We ate the biscuit too fast to get a photo but don't miss it when you eat here!
Came here for a snack / drink and was highly impressed! The oyster selection was extensive and the food was delicious. The Jubilee was my favortie cocktail. I will definitely be back to try more of their food!
I went to both Row 34 locations and they never cease to amaze me. This time I added a lobster roll with warm butter to my order. I could barely get myself out the restaurant I was so stuffed! This restaurant really is a gem.
My first experience at ICOB was a great one. First off our server Brandon was awesome, super knowledgeable and very pleasant. The ny strip was awesome, just as good as any fancy steak house around, oysters were delicious perfect size and saltiness.
Great fish and chips. One large piece. Fries were decent. Came for the clam chowder. Very authentic. Brussels sprouts were great and burgers on point. Staff were top notch. Excellent venue.
We've been here a couple of times in the past oh say 2 years. The first time we ate there yeah hey it was decent but it wasn't anything that I really write home about. It has been getting better though. It was outstanding the latest time. I have the clam chowder which is very good little thicker than I like which has happened with chowders over the last 40 years or so they've got much thicker. I always liked them when they were more brothy but this is still a good chowder with a lot of flavor and a lot of clams a lot of bacon actually I think it was more like probably like pork belly or something like that but it was really good. My main course was fried oysters. Boy were these good. Nice and crisp plump and juicy. Easily some of the best I've had in the last few years. Plenty of french fries. It was nice to see the oysters covering the freeze rather than going to other places where you get like a handful of oysters and clams and a mountain of french fries. The Richard had the main course of the shrimp and pasta which was really good. I'm not a big pasta fan but I'll tell you I definitely would order that dish myself it was excellent. These guys are really starting to hit their stride and I strongly recommend you try them out.
Let me tell you! We found out about this place, because Gordon Ramsey had the owner on his show, Hell's Kitchen, as a judge, for seafood cook-off. My husband and I like to try new places. So, we took my mom, our 2 children, and took the hour drive from Worcester. The food, AMAZING The service AMAZING The atmosphere, AMAZING. We will most definitely be back. Anytime Gordon visits a restaurant in the Boston or CT area when he is here, and it's not on his makeover show, we visit them and he NEVER disappoints in his recommendations. I strongly urge you to try this place! Thank you again, and we will be back!
Always an outstanding time. One of the best menus I’ve seen at any of their locations in a long time. Don’t sleep on the fried mushrooms, and the Sunday football specials were a nice touch. The staff is always so friendly, the folks next to us were celebrating a birthday and they surprised the table with a banana split, always the most hospitable staff.
Great experience, but $48 for a Lobster Roll is insane. Much better value at Legal or Surf. A number of items both food and drink were out of stock. Yas, our server was excellent.
Perfect location for a friend’s luncheon (1/2way between Boston and Nashua). Our server, Cole, was superb: perfectly attentive while also letting us have time to catch-up. His recommendations were on point, and I cannot wait to return to try his other suggestions. Highly recommend getting a board app to share! We came on a particularly slow day of holiday weekend, though we’ve also come other times where it was much more busy, lively, and louder
Really wonderful seafood served on a casual environment. Service was excellent and the oysters (while they can't take credit for them!) were excellent. Apparently, they make a great burger, as well.
Max T was great and I really appreciated the variety of oysters he picked out for me, as well as how kind he was when we didn’t enjoy our broccoli rabe. I don’t think it was fault of the restaurant, just personal taste. Everything else was delicious and we’re excited to come back again!
Our server was knowledgeable and kind and prompt. They were able to give an explanation about all the different types of oysters, which were fantastic. All of thr food was great and I think my favorite food was the cornbread. The caeser salad and the salmon also had wonderful flavors. Thr atmosphere was nice and it wasn't too boisterous so we were able to speak with our guests. The prices were fair and the portions were generous.
We just left an INCREDIBLE dinner there. Our server James was incredible and took time to explain the oyster program and give us incredible and personal service. The oysters and seafood are so fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to come back!
Relaxed place with a pleasant atmosphere that offers a wide range of craft beers and seafood They have plenty of table space but I opted for sitting at the bar. I had the Water Lily pale ale from draft, which is an excellent tasty beer. For diner I had the Whole Grilled Fish, which was a black Seabass with 242 fries. The fish was fantastic! smooth and tasty with a not so common but very nice salsa. The fries were delicious too and definitely better than most “home made fries” that I had. Service was excellent too. Price is above average for food but they made it worth it.
Visited for Dine Out Boston Week and tried the three-course menu including crab cake, haddock, and butterscotch pudding (plus Maine oysters & tuna crudo as an additional charge) Memorable Dishes: Maine Oysters are incredibly fresh and briny (my favorite). Butterscotch Pudding is creamy and indulgent. The tuna crudo was fresh but slightly overpriced at $21. The crab cake and citrus salad paired well - I recommend taking alternative bites of both. The haddock had a great butternut squash pairing, but the fish is slightly dry, and the salsa verde didn’t quite complement the overall dish. Overall, I appreciate standout dishes and the perfect pacing from our server. Outside the Dine Out Boston, the cost doesn’t fully align with the portion/quality.
If you like seafood this restaurant should definitely be on your list… the seafood is fresh, the ambience is really good, service is not bad… overall a solid 4/5. Smoked Salmon Pate, Calamari, fish tacos, biscuit and the fried oyester sliders were memorable on the other hand shrimp linguini was sub par. The portions are on the smaller side, overall a good experience definitely better than some of the other sea food establishments in Burlington worth a try.
The appetizers and dinner was delicious all around. However, the cookie was a little too crunchy for my liking. I love the style of service, people bringing out the food when it's ready, people clearing the table when done, you aren't waiting for a single person to do everything. Waters were continuously topped off, empty drinks were refilled. I don't like the forced kitchen service fee, they are up front about it as it clearly stated on the menu, however, it's just as easy to raise prices by 3.5٪ and share that with the kitchen staff. That would translate to increased tips for the wait staff as well as the tip base would be higher. A $42 lobster roll would now be $44 rounded up, a negligible increase but avoids rubbing people the wrong way.
Before visiting Boston, I heard that the lobster roll is a must eat at Boston and Row 34 is one of the best restaurants that offer best lobster roll in Boston. Yes, Row 34 is wonderful! We ordered both cold and hot lobster rolls - Ethel’s creamy roll (cold) and warm buttered lobster. They are delicious! The lobster taste a bit chewy, with rich flavor of butter, very satisfied. The homemade chips are not very good. They are not crunchy at all. Not sure if they are freshly made. The clams are OK. They are very fresh for sure though. Seafood paella is so delicious. Unlike paella in most other restaurants, the paella here is not salty but very tasty. Highly recommended. I like the fried oysters best. Very very fresh! Very very tender. I can eat the whole plate myself. The waiter who served us was very friendly! He add one point to my evaluation.
I've been to Row 34 a few times now and I find that it's an enjoyable experience. First, the vibe of the restaurant is amazing. I very much love the aesthetic and soft lighting that makes it very modern yet relaxing. On to drinks, I like my beverages and their bar makes good classic cocktails in addition to their specials. Even their mocktails are good if you're avoiding alcohol and just want something nice. I do wish they had a better selection of by-the-glass sparkling wines which is very limited, either a solid dry prosecco or another champagne to go with their seafood offerings. Food wise, I enjoy their oysters and can honestly recommend the shellfish tower value-wise. Their other offerings are good such as the lobster role, but kind of underwhelming in size and flavor for $56....just not worth it honestly. The biggest thing working against Row 34 is probably the differences in confusing value between some dishes.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is so tranquil. You definitely feel like you're near the ocean. Everything is so clean and fresh. The service is great. The food is delicious. The fried oyster sliders are on point! The chowder is very tasteful with big hunks of salted ham and clam
Drinks: Nothing bad to 10/10 Main dish: I was a little disappointed with the lobster roll. It was $54 for a small portion and wasn’t the best. I also had the paella ( wasn’t like the original one) but it was full of flavors and was delicious. Also, I tuna Tatar was pretty descent. My favorite thing was their oyster and that’s why I gave it a 4. Dessert: I didn’t like it. I had the brownie ice cream and it came with 3 little pieces of broken up brownies and I was disappointed. Then their banana pie crust was just too hard. Overall, the food was too pricey and at the same time wasn’t the best. Will come back for the drinks
Great food , amazing server : Even though initially I was ready to give this place 1 star because of miscommunication when I called ahead , I had to switch my review. The food was amazing to the finest details. Even the tasty homemade bread and butter was killer . Then there was our server Tri H , he was so kind and caring about our daughters it really made the trip out to Burlington worth while. We’ll be back for more .
Place is great staff knows the menu my disappointment is the fish and chips, fish not season. No salt body pepper & the Beer batter Soaks up everything & all falls apart
As like many other restaurants the music was too loud I ordered clams and shrimp as a starter and the shrimp way overcooked the clams were very good though. We had salmon for an entree and it was cooked perfectly. We did complain about the shrimp and they took it off the bill
We had a little party and we ordered lots of different appetizers to share. Based on my experience, I can't truly say that something was worth speaking. All appetizers were very average, with high prices and smaller quantities, it didn't meet my expectations. On the other hand, tuna dish was pretty good for my tasting, but my wife had some weird feelings. Overall, it is pricey place that can do better.
Salmon was delicious but the broccoli was overcooked. The roasted half chicken did not get rave reviews from my husband. The Montepulciano wine by the glass was very good and in good quantity. The decor is very modern and sparse, with most seats halving no cushions. I found this uncomfortable and was glad I had a jacket to fold up and sit on. A larger menu selection would be nice for a restaurant demanding such high prices. We paid nearly $100 for two entrées, one glass of wine, tax & tip. Free parking
Stunning restaurant and super kind staff, but I gotta be honest that some of the dishes were way over priced in terms of portions and some of the quality as well, still good food, I've been dining in fine restaurants all over the country and I know exactly what it looks, tastes and how much would it cost. Over all great hard working people and clean environment.
The food was incredible and our waitress was incredibly kind and welcoming. My problem with my experience was the extremely cold and rude host. (Blonde girl). Did not say hello when we walked in and was giving us dagger eyes throughout our meal. I prefer to go to a restaurant where I’m welcomed.
We were really excited to try ROW 34, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. Everything tasted bland and lacked proper seasoning, and the presentation felt messy. Overall, it ended up being a rather sad and underwhelming experience for us.
We were charged $113. Lobster roll was $54. Overall poor experience
