The food is delicious, plentiful and very reasonably priced. The staff are attentive and friendly. This has been a neighborhood staple for years and it's never a disappointment!

Some of the best Italian style food around and they kept their prices modest even though they had to raise them in this market. Still the best Italian gravy (old Italians call tomato sauce gravy) around.

A blast from the Past better than most modern place! Do yourself a favor and try this great local favorite. Everything is well done. Great service and a great atmosphere. A place for both the Young and old. Highly recomend.

Amazing food. Large food portions. Definitely an older crowd and a townie vibe. But the waiters/waitresses we're really nice. Would recommend.

My wife and I each ordered shrimp cacciatore earlier this week and it was superb in every respect, the best we have ever had, matched only by the service at the bar side. The servings are generous, the shrimp excellent, the sauce homemade and the leftovers still fantastic two days later.

Have recently rediscovered Greg's after many years away from the area. Salt of the earth staff, great food and reasonable prices should keep everyone coming back. The Julienne salad was huge. Pick a parmigiana too because they're all all great. (Yes, I've now had all 3). Have been for lunch and dinners and it's a great deal with local atmosphere. Thx Greg's...nice to be back again!

Great lunch menu. Chicken parmigiana is really good. The best I've had and I travel all over the country. Excellent specials. They should be open Sunday's 😠! One of my favorite bars.

The food was great. I had the sirloin steak and it was juicy, tasty and perfect!!! The sides both salad and the potato was unique and delicious. Super friendly staff! While waiting for a table for almost half an hour we got to try couple of cocktails which was great too!!

Serving authentic Italian cuisine in a homey dining room reminiscent to nonna’s, Greg’s may be the best Italian restaurant in (not just Watertown) but all of Mass. family owned and operated, the love that comes pouring out of the marinara is second to none. The manicotti is chefs kiss to die for. The chicken parm is the absolute best. Never a bad bite. The service reminds me of family with love and devotion you don’t get from other restaurants. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it, because you are the king! ❤️

Gregs is a great restaurant! Great food and service. Think red and white checkered table cloths and red sauce and you're right there. Parking lot is small but there is street parking. Park on access road by Stop & Shop (NOT in S&S parking lot) and walk over. Watch the time for metered parking.

Greg’s is delicious, I go with the eggplant Parmesan or any meatball dish. I love their staff! The joint is cozy and comfortable. Nothing better than a good cocktail with great food and better company!

Good food at a good price! Especially if you are hungry at 5pm they have early bird specials until 6pm. Includes soup or salad, entree, coffee or tea and dessert. All between $12 and $15. Great bargain!

Had chicken parm dinner tonite thanks to my niece and her husband picking up take out for family members. As a regular diner at gregs for many years, it was such a treat to get one if my favorites. Best meal in two months! Miss all of the great staff and many friends i have met through Greg’s. Wishing all to be safe through this terrible time and can’t wait to see you all once again at the best restaurant.

Inexpensive lunch menu with delicious stuffed sole in a wonderful sauce. My past visits prove that prep and attention to food quality is ongoing. Our waitress was really attentive.

This place has been around for years. Their food is so delicious, affordable and with healthy portions. The decor is dated but that’s part of it’s charm. If you haven’t been, you need to add it to your list!

We love Greg's! Friendly group, especially at the bar, and good home style food. Early specials are terrific and a great bargain. Even though we're from another neighborhood across town, we make the 6 mile trek a couple of times a month to sit at the bar to yak with whoever will listen and eat great food for a reasonable price!

Old school and great prices! Food is always good. I love the veal or chicken parm! I got this fried seafood platter today. Very good.

G

The food was great. Cooked well, tasted great. The waitresses were quick on their feet and hard working. The atmosphere was terrific, everybody looked like they enjoyed being there. They have an early bird special the value of which in my experience is unmatched. It's my opinion this restaurant wants their guests, above all, to leave happier than when they came in.

L
Laurel Slatoff

This old school Italian place does not disappoint! Complete with red checkered table clothes, deep booths, dim lighting and carafes of house wine! The staff are exceptional in taking care of you. They are flexible and accommodating of little kids and make great recommendations. We love the early bird specials but there are lots of other reasonably priced dishes too. We're making this one of our regular places!

Friendly local joint for typical Italian American food.

C
Carla Barile

We love gregs! The chiken parm is so good! It doesn't look like anything great on the outside. Typical bar. The bar is nice with friendly people behind it. Lastly our waitress was the absolute best. She came to find me in the parking lot because I left my doggy bag behind.

S
Shristi Chitlangia

Large quantities, tasty food and very affordable! We tried the egg parm (vegetarian) and the chicken parm. The egg parm was some of the best I’ve ever had! Not super cheesy and very flavorful.

D

Pork Chops are delicious. Their London broil is delicious. Home made soups, salad dressing are all good. They have excellent butternut squash and garlic broccoli. Very old fashioned looking place but comfortable. Prices are also reasonable. They have lunch early birds and regular dinner.

D

Ordered from here several times. Good stuff! Great staff. Great service and the prices are reasonable. The menu is varied with steaks and seafood available. Enjoyed some of the Italian offerings. Though this is not a typical Italian themed restaurant the food is quite good. Maybe a bit salty at times, but, that is to be expected. lol. You won't be disappointed coming here.

P

Greg's is a Watertown Italian classic restaurant. You will love it unless you're expecting it to be a trendy, pricy, contemporary place that it is not trying to be. The atmosphere is old school booths, tables and wall decor. The bathrooms are clean, very tight, but functional. The food and service is where the place shines. Great Parmesans, meatballs red sauce and seafood. Very reasonable prices.

B
Bradley Johnsen

My friend and I were checking out the area because she's moving there. We decided to check out Greg's because it looked established in the neighborhood. The service staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, actually so did some of the regular guests, with bar and menu suggestions along with some of their personal favorites. Food was fabulous, drinks were ice-cold and the prices are great. Definitely going to be one of our new favorites.

Amazing food, Thursday-Saturday they offer a prime rib special 14 or 20oz, it is amazing every time!! On top of other things on the menu, their chicken parm is great and their food is always consistent. Everyone there is really friendly and my friends & I always have a good time going.

Greg's serves delicious food, always consistent, and at a great value. The servers treat you like family. We love them! The restaurant could use some updating, but then it would become expensive. It's great the way it is. The 80's music is fabulous.

One of my favorite restaurants in Cambridge. Delicious and unique food with low prices. The white clam sauce must be tried. It is hard to find in other places.

Greg’s is an absolutely fantastic restaurant. Absolutely everything on the menu is wonderful and the service is always fantastic. I go there at least once a week when I can and love it. It’s cozy, friendly, family owned and they treat you great. If you haven’t gone you should go and if you go and don’t like it then there is something wrong with you.

This is a true classic. The staff is great. The atmosphere is perfect. The food is good. They really decked the place out for Christmas. The early bird special is clearly a hit. The place gets very full between 5 and 6:30. I had the fried chicken spacial with fries and soup. It's a great deal. The white meat wasn't super dry, which can be a problem some places. I'm happy to go every time.

We were a party of 15 for lunch with a reservation. We were all seated together and found the service very quick and efficient. The salads were good with excellent dressings. All the entrees were very good. One of our party grew up in his parent's Italian restaurant in Providence and gave it a thumbs up. The prices were very reasonable. I can see why the place has been around for decades. My only regret is that I live three hours away. We had a great family experience.

Delicious and friendly family Italian restaurant! We eat here every time we are in town and we are remembered and welcomed by their staff. It’s not fancy but that’s what we love about it. Great food at a fair price with good service. Early bird dinner and lunch specials are good deals too.

Neighborhood, area, and local favorite restaurant. We are regulars on SAT and my Mom is known as Grammah! Love the great foods especially the grilled pork chops. All the staff are wonderful. BUT! The FRI/SAT night blackboard special is prime rib. That's on my wish list ... coming soon.

I just did a review for Greg‘s. Maybe that was a different Greg‘s but the food here is phenomenal. Love the scallops. The prime rib is really good. The spumoni ice cream with a little bit of cream on top and the raspberry sauce on top. Oh my God with a cup of coffee it’s divineAnthony from Massachusetts also Boston actor type cast as a police officer. I’m in the movie Patriots’ Day Chappaquiddick city on a hill Castle rock and also secrets exposed on lifetime nice to meet you all. Come in and check out Greg’s.

Hidden Gem! A small little joint serving up some delicious dishes at an incredibly reasonable price. It has so much charm and such a warm friendly atmosphere that seems to be lost on a lot of the newer dining establishments. So glad I finally stopped in, I will definitely be here regularly.

What a neat establishment. We recently moved to Watertown from the Midwest, and Greg’s has quickly become our first regular spot. Their early bird specials are where it is at. You will almost always leave with a box of leftovers for dinner the next day, and the prices are right on point. The food has been consistently good, and every time we visit, the bar and restaurant are full of regulars — a sure sign you have found a reliable spot.

Great kitchen. Food is delicious, seafood or Italian. Can get a little noisy in the bar but patrons and staff are friendly. Tonight we had the shrimp scampi and the chicken parmigiana. All in all this is really a 'can't miss' for a local.

Having been craving a hearty portion of beef for a while, I perused through Google looking to locally satiate my need for meat. Though I must’ve passed by the building hundreds of times over the years, I’ve never noticed Greg’s until it came up on the results. This unassuming building by the Mt. Auburn cemetery is a hidden gem. I wonder how many have passed over it for the more contemporary eateries? Having no one to go with, and being a self-conscious type, I almost chickened out but promise of a meal I’ve been longing for said come come just do it. Greeted warmly by auntie-like staff, I passed through the bustling bar area and into the quieter dining room. Dimly lit and accented by vintage style wall sconces and fairy lights made for a cozy ambiance. Decorated tin ceiling tiles, exposed brick and warm, wood-paneled walls. Plush red leather booths and classic cafe chairs based off the Thonet 18. Like the ending scene of That Girl’s first episode where Marlo Thomas’ character Ann Marie and her potential love interest Don Hollinger sitting at a red checkered table for their first date, I sat down anticipating my own romantic experience with this neighborhood Italian-American restaurant with mid 20th century decor. This isn’t a place that’s “trying” to be of the period. Aside from the nostalgic 80’s hits playing softly in the background, it’s as if the place never changed, and I love that. I scarcely looked at the menu to be honest, as I knew exactly what I wanted. Prime Rib medium rare with horseradish, a side of salad and roasted potatoes. The salad came promptly, with a plate of fluffy, sesame coated Scala bread and butter. By the time I finished, my hot hot plate arrived on cue, a lovely thick portion of rib meat lightly bathed in jus. Now though I haven’t had underwhelming prime rib anywhere, I am a known sinner for drowning meat in A1 and horseradish. I did decide to cut a piece and eat it with the jus alone. Oh dear readers do listen. The flavors bursted vibrantly. A touch of horseradish dotted here and there, but the steak sauce remained untouched through the duration of the meal. The next 15 minutes were just The Psychedelic Furs, Erasure, Madonna, me and prime rib. I don’t remember my surroundings from being in bliss. All the anxiety I had as a solo restaurant-goer disappeared and I transcended. This is true cozy comfort of a restaurant. Next time he visits, I will bring my British partner to experience what it's like to go to what I now consider "a true American restaurant experience". Maybe I'll come before that anyways because wow, that was lovely. Thank you for the wonderful food and hospitality to everyone present tonight.

Family style restaurant with street parking as well as a good sized parking lot. The minute you walk in the staff makes you feel welcome. They start you off with a nice basket of delicious warm bread and butter which I should’ve known not to eat because I was only able to eat half my sub after. Unfortunately the bread is just so delicious we couldn’t help ourselves. My brother had the seafood platter and I ordered a meatball sub with fries. The meatballs were huge and homemade. They were probably the best meatballs I’ve ever had. Our waitress was an absolute doll and could not of been more attentive. Had a few bottles of Bud that were very inexpensive and my brother had a couple of mixed drinks which he said were very good. I ate like a swine and still brought half my sub home to have for breakfast the next day. All for very short money. Everyone in the restaurant was following all of the COVID-19 protocols. When you leave Greg’s all the staff tell you to have a good day and thank you for stopping in. I strongly suggest you stop in sometime when you’re in the neighborhood.

Old time Italian restaurant with things like lasagna, eggplant parmesan, shrimp scampi, and veal piccatta. Lots and lots of red gravy. Delicious! There is a full service bar in a room separate from the dining room if you just want to stop in for a drink with the locals.

R

First time here, would come back but would hope the owners would work on a bit of updating/cleaning esp restroom area, maybe some fresh carpets or tablecloths can be put in without losing that “old school” Italian joint look. However food was tasty, wait staff very friendly. Worth a try!

We have eaten here many times and enjoy it as a moderate price neighborhood Italian restaurant. Recently we attended a surprise birthday party here on a Saturday afternoon. They accommodated 20 of us at a long table. Everyone had a great time and we enjoyed the food.

Throw back style restaurant, huge portions of good food at reasonable prices. I had a Greek salad with chicken and it was enough for two meals. There is a peculiar smell in the dining room even though the place was very clean.

Went for a late lunch. We ordered from the lunch menu. Veal Parm and Baked Scrod with breadcrumbs were very good. The soup and salad were below average. The Scali bread was fresh and delicious. All of this food and 2 beers was $39! A great value. This place is in its 90th year and some of the patrons look like they were there on opening day! It does draw an older clientele. I liked it, very authentic. 4.2 🌟

Was craving a fast local burger and wanted to try something new, so popped into Greg’s Restaurant. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries. Fries were nothing special, but the burger patty was well seasoned and well cooked, not overly greasy. Bacon wasn’t too flavorful, the cheese was mild and tasty, and the buns were slightly buttery and rich. Solid burger, decent price, nice folks, pleasant local atmosphere!

B
Bobby C

Lunch portions are HUGE and worth every penny. The lasagna is fantastic. Heard a lot of things about the Chicken Parm, but thought the chicken was dry and the sauce very salty...maybe they were having a rare bad day. Service was top notch. Definitely going back to try the steaks!

Good good at a decent price. It's basically like going back to the late 70's when you step inside. My first thought was " why does the front door go directly to a bar?". I thought it was the backdoor, but it wasn't. Then I thought about the movie "Deliverance", but quickly dismissed those thoughts when I got stampeded by a group of senior citizens. Anyways, it's dark in there and there's a lot of brown color. The staff was nice. They quickly took my order and all ended well. Their menu has a lot of food and they have other small food items that were not listed on their website (which could use a severe overhaul). I got fish and chips, Greek salad, French fries and battered shrimp scampi with free bread and butter (really good bread, too). FYI I ordered takeout The place is small and hidden behind trees and a billboard. I drove past it twice, even though my gps told me I had arrived. The parking lot is tiny and hard to turn around in. I recommend Greg's Restaurant 👍

The food here was really good, it was my first experience with cheese garlic bread and it was absolutely amazing. Apparently I live under a rock, but theirs was delicious and the serving size was more than substantial. The eggplant parm was really well seasoned, and my boyfriends dill salmon was absolutely amazing. That being said, it took a long time after being seated for us to get served, and the wait time between the server coming back over and waiting on us was super long. Could have just been an off night, and we will definitely go again regardless.

First off this is one of my favorite resturants. Upsides: Food is great. Service is really great. Early Bird Specials are a good value. Drinks are strong and reasonably priced. Downsides: One stall bathroom, crowded seating and the heat is ALWAYS on high. Wear a tee shirt!

This old school restaurant serves authentic Italian food. The veal parm is delicious and the fish is always very fresh. The prices are more than reasonable and they even have a 3 course early bird. Worth checking out when in the area.

No frills atmosphere with great service and food! Lots of menu options and reasonably priced! The shrimp scampi with broccoli was very good and I asked for 1/2 if the butter, no issue. Good amount of shrimp too! We were very happy with the Italian lemon cream cake the we shared. Not overly lemon flavored. Light and airy too. Definitely worth the splurge!

I have a thing for Chicken Parmigiana (like Billy Crystal in “Forget Paris” (his was veal, though) ) I thoroughly enjoyed the Chick Parm here, and the old school, New England service (don’t expect pampering) My wife enjoyed the fried chicken (pictured below) - pretty large portion. We got in on the early bird dinner which included soup or salad, coffee, and dessert

Nice quaint place. Used to g8o there freuently. Several years ago and loved it. Returned there a few weeks ago. Nothing changed but was a little disappointed with my veal cutlet dinner. Maybe its just me, I don't know. However I would give it an 8 anyway. i really like the place

J
James Riefstahl

I'm going to post on my singular experience last night. I give it a three because it's neither universally, good or bad...just preference of taste and age group. To start off though, as you can see it has a lot of good reviews. However...when they say the "locals" frequent this place...when we got there at 6, the place was packed...with senior citizens. SENIOR citizens. I'd say 80% were 70+, 90% were 60+...One 40-50s couple, and us, a mid-30s couple. You would have thought Thursday night bingo had just let out. Now imagine if that is the majority clientele, the place and atmosphere would naturally cater towards that age group-and it does. And the fact that this place has been around since 1932...it's clearly dated all around. Again, probably makes the old timers feel good "ah, the good ol' days"...but not really anyone who's not of that generation. Optimistically, it was really educational for us. For example I didn't quite understand the idea of a "side dish" of chicken parmigiana etc (i.e., items that are typically the main dish-was that one of my choices for two sides!?j The food is certainly "homemade", and nothing wrong with that, tasted just fine, and portions were large. I got the prime rib, she got the veal cordon bleu. She thought it was too salty, so we switched (it was only a little salty to my tastebuds, certainly edible, I enjoyed). Pricing I thought was average at $18-$20 a plate, certainly no steal. I ordered the special gingerbread martini, which I thought was fantastic. I also ordered two waters when I ordered the alcohol, but didn't get that until the fourth request and the meal was practically done. Service was slow, but we weren't in a hurry. They were slammed at the time. When we left about 7:30, the place had cleared out, and admittedly a slightly younger crowd was showing up. I guess I felt the need to write to recalibrate folks unwritten assumptions and expectations that we have a modern day restaurant.

Ordered the fried scallops and buffalo tenders to go. There were no sides with the scallops and no blue cheese for the tenders. I did call and a very abrupt woman told me that "there wasn't a manager in and they were very busy so call back tomorrow". Not great customer service at all, or service for that matter.

My friends took me here to cheer me up on my late husband's Greg's anniversary of his death. Yeah we have a weird sense of humor. Good food!!

On a recent Thursday afternoon, Greg's Restaurant in East Watertown was busy with dozens of what appeared to be regulars. There are three paneled dining areas and a large oak bar at this eatery. I ordered the ravioli parmigiana lunch special. It came with a side salad composed of iceberg lettuce, purple onion and two grape tomatoes. Its creamy peppercorn dressing was tasty. Scali bread, although chilled, had a light, pillowy texture and came with plenty of butter. My entrée was five oversized ravioli tucked under a blanket of mozzarella and a ladle of meat sauce. Regretfully, the ravioli were tough to cut and to chew; the sauce had little to no flavor. Service was borderline inattentive, perhaps 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 is the best descriptive. I don't see myself returning to Greg's Restaurant in the near future.

Shrimp scampi appetizer is breaded and fried. We expected shrimp in garlic butter. Strange presentation. Lasagna was not well heated and sausage was extremely firm.

Good service. Thursday prime ribs are a good deal. Comes with sides. The au jus is a little on the saltier side. The ny sirloin steak however was atrocious. Overdone even when it was supposed to be medium rare. Stringy and not tender. Not sure if it was just too busy. Definitely come here for some good deals tho.

It's okay for bar food. I had the haddock, the other two people in my party had a seafood platter and buffalo fingers.

Greg's simply was not my kind of place. The restaurant is dark and musty inside and it feels like that there is a permanent funeral crowd. Somber faces, ashen looks. It could have been the case that it was indeed a funeral crowd when I visited which would explain the atmosphere. The food was OK. The bread was store-bought and the accompanying butter was frozen (little packs you see at hotels). I ordered the calamari scampi which had a surprisingly fishy odor. It is seafood - I get that but this odor is not what you want emanating from your lunch. Others in my party ordered the eggplant parmigiano, the fried and grilled fish, and baked chicken, with an assorted variety of sides including soup, salad, and fries. Everyone, I kid you not, left some food on their plate - an indication that the food was edible at best. I am aware that this was my experience, I'm sure there are others who may have enjoyed their time. Certainly seems the kind of place where you have a small but dedicated group of regulars who come in for the camaraderie.

I've been coming here for decades. It's always been a good bargain restaurant for lunch or dinner. It's always been a great Senior Citizen place with LOTS of elderly people. But despite that and the Early Bird Specials, the prices were higher lately. But with post Covid, that's understandable. Upon opening the door to enter, I noticed a nasty odor. It was almost unbearable to the point where I almost walked out. The waitress was good and nice. I got used to the smell after 10 minutes. But it bothered me what could have been causing the odor. Restaurant and Bar had the odor so it was unavoidable. Overall the meal was good but my Broiled Scrod was overcooked, burned and slightly watery. The Ritz Cracker topping was burned, but it was edible. The people were old. Probably everyone was in their 80's. So I left shortly after finishing my meal. I was disappointed. You think after all these years, some money could be put into SOME renovations. The bar was well lit and festive with hanging white Christmas lights from the ceiling. The Men's Rest Room had ITS own odor too. Considering how I drive by this place and the lot is always full, you could think that the owner could invest some money into renovations. The Dining is so dark and dreary. I guess that Senior Citizens that come here like the dreariness and Darkness and probably don't have the awareness of the smell. Or they probably block out the idea that the smell exists knowing that if they walk out, they would probably miss out on a cheap meal and there isn't a place like this for miles. I'm getting older myself and Yes I can be crotchety and moody. But I can surely recognize an odor that would usually prompt me to leave a restaurant because it was so bad that it left my stomach queezy. One other reviewer said it was a musty odor. I think it was some sort of odor caused by stale food. I probably won't eat here again. I wound up here because I found my Chinese Restaurant was closed Mondays.

Couple things first the lady that sat us down rolled her eyes when we asked to be sat at the restaurant not the bar area. Than she stuck us near the bathroom all the way in the corner. Next the food definitely not as good as I remember it and when the dessert came I was looking forward to my pudding but there was a hair in it! The server asked if I wanted one to go but by that time I lost my appetite and didn’t want it anymore. She didn’t discount or anything from the bill because of the hair.

It has been a family favorite of my parents and Grandparents. My party of five arrived a few minutes ago. Two waitstaff (chatting in the bar) asked us to wait for Joanne. When she appeared, she barked for us to have a seat and wait, in a most rude and nasty manner. She then blamed the waitstaff bc they were overwhelmed. We are happy to wait for friendly service, this was not anyone I wanted to give business to. Totally disrespectful. Is this post covid standard or just poor manners?

I didn't expect much, but I was surprised by how bad this place was. My wife and I stopped in for a drink. Do not do this. First my wife asked for a cocktail menu, but they don't have one. Okay, if you don't need a cocktail menu, we don't either. (Though my wife pointed out that we were in the cocktail lounge, and the sign out front advertises cocktails.) So she ordered a Manhattan, and the waitress ran through the whiskey options. They have no bourbon or rye. Okay.... We got the Manhattan, and it turns out there was no vermouth either. Whiskey and water was not exactly what we ordered. If you have literally none of the ingredients, say so. (Though the drink did include a neon red supermarket cherry.) As for my drink, I got a Newcastle that was flat and watery. No thanks. I guess if you want a drink here, get bottled beer or booze on the rocks.

Went here to grab some lunch or the chicken Parm and a drink places dated old and dirty . The tough guy behind the bar doesn’t even know what he’s doing couldn’t even make an old fashion. Served it with ice. This place is out of touch disorganized and not worth your time or your money.

Place was recommended by a friend - sadly I wholeheartedly would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I am not a picky eater nor am I a picky diner or cheapskate. This was a HORRIBLE experience. I don't know how this place is still in business. Almost laughable how bad this place is. Upon entry it smells like urine / nursing home. No exaggeration. I thought perhaps it was a patron, nope..the smell extended into the regular dining area and persisted, disgusting. Seats in booths are collapsed in with no cushion remaining. Knife provided was excessively dirty - seemingly washed yet still covered in caked on food from a previous diner - impossible to miss. Gross. The service was horrible, not rude, but slow to the point it was almost intentional (it was not busy nor were we in a rush). Finished app plates never cleared. New incoming dishes placed on top of them. Lack of side plates for all diners. Simple things totally disregarded. We were never served our salads that were to accompany our meal. The food itself was mediocre at best. Sauce average. Pasta below average. I expected a lot more from an establishment that claims to be in its fourth generation. Owners if you read this, shame on you for letting a multigenerational family business get to this point. The conditions themselves are inexcusable. Overall was a combination of dirty, smelly, poor service and mediocre food quality led me to write this review immediately upon returning home. Perhaps we had a poor server but that does not fix all the rest listed here. I appreciate a “dive” but there is zero draw here. Stay away, you will be disappointed. Will never be back.

My mom and I were looking for a place to eat after paying our respects at a nearby cemetery. She suggested Greg’s and I said sure. We walked in and just stood there for a few minutes when we heard a voice yell “hi just sit anywhere” so we went into the back room sat down at a clean booth with placemats and cutlery and a very rude woman (manager or owner I think) asked us very curtly “who said you could sit here”?! I explained when we walked in we were told we could sit anywhere. I have a lot more patience than my mom does as I am a server and bartender myself. When I went to confront the rude owner/manager woman I explained yeah I understand that it’s busy but you should always do a “table touch”.. Anyway our server was very, very sweet and did everything she could. My chicken parmigiana was very chewy and unappetizing as it just look like melted American cheese with some bottled marinara sauce on top. I’m so disappointed with this experience. My mom and I were looking to have a good time after a very emotional visit to her son/my brothers gravesite.
