Bertucci's - Newton

We love Bertucci's and on this night we were traveling back home from Boston and stopped in and had the best experience. Habibe was assigned our table and she was so great! So attentive and very nice. She even served us our first slices which I don't ever recall happening anywhere else. So glad we stopped here!

The environment was very spacious and nice. The pizzas were delicious. I loved the sauce of their cake. Habibe, who took care of us, was very attentive. Thank you. ❤️

Habibe makes Bertucci's a happy, safe, clean, easy, and enjoyable time every time I am here. Her demeanor and service make this bar / restaurant such a great space to spend in -- and as a single woman, it feels very comfortable and FUN! You will not regret visiting here and sharing some time with this bright light (and great food too)!

I just went to the newton bertuccis and it was excellent , the food and drinks were perfect. We had the best waitress with Habibe she was so happy and pleasant and did such a great job. She was so easy to talk to and made us feel welcome and happy. 5 star service all the way around.

I had just flown in from FL after a 4 hour delay and my husband brought me to Bertucci's in Newton for a quick bite for dinner. There were two clean and comfortable spots at the bar. Vaso greeted us with a huge, warm smile. She was attentive and intuitive. She could see that I was tired and hungry...and thirsty! She made me an excellent cocktail and quickly took our order. She brought us rolls and oil...and then within 15 minutes we had a fresh, hot pie! She was even kind enough to change the bar TV to a hockey game for us while we ate. Vaso was the perfect amount of friendly, kind and knowledgeable with excellent customer service skills.

Hosted an event here and the staff were phenomenal. Erica, Danny, and Alex made sure all of my guests were taken care of and I literally had nothing worry about. Absolutely recommended.

We had a wonderful family meal at Bertucci’s! The food was excellent, with a wide variety of options perfect for both kids and adults. The restaurant is spacious and family-friendly, with a welcoming atmosphere. We loved the fresh pizza made in their big stone oven, the homemade lasagna was delicious, and the bread and chicken wings were amazing. The chocolate chip sundae for dessert was a big hit—everyone left happy! Special shout-out to our server, Maja—absolutely top-notch. She was friendly, professional, and took great care of us from start to finish. Very attentive and always checking in with a smile. You can tell she’s been here for years and really knows how to make guests feel welcome. She even helped make the desserts extra special for our table. Highly recommend Bertucci’s for a great family outing!

Bertuccis is amazing not only for their array of delicious Italian fare but most importantly for those who have very real dietary needs. From the moment Habbibe the lovely articulate wait person arrived and learned of my requests, she was kind and so eager to ask assistant Manager Danny if he would honor fish and vegetables prepared without salt, oil or butter. The salmon was moist, fresh and cooked perfectly. The steamed spinach was such a great addition to the salmon Their attention to detail, constant checking to be sure that the meal was satisfactory and their overwhelming effort to honor the customer who cannot order from the menu was a joy. The team is well well trained in food preparation, amazing customer service and seamlessly. The restaurant is bustling, the great food is well prepared but what makes all of the difference is taking the time and interest to work with each and every patron’s needs . So thrilled to find such wonderful people like Danny, Habbibe and the entire team at the Newton Bertucci’s. It is a terrific dining opportunity

My friends and I had dinner at this location within the last couple of months. As always (at least in my experience) Bertucci’s didn’t disappoint. The pizzas were tasty, the place was super bright (lots of natural light) and the service was amazing. Habibe, our server, was beyond friendly and accommodating and made sure we got all our refills, bread and to go boxes super quickly. Oh and they have off street parking, which is great given the high traffic location. We will definitely be back! Thanks Habibe and Bertucci’s !

I’m really happy with my experience here. We were celebrating our 10 wedding anniversary. I sadly made a mistake ordering and the crew were very nice and helpful. The Ultimate Bertucci’s pizza was tasteful and really big 🙏. I had a Cesar salad and I loved it. (I’m pregnant and very picky 😂) And finally the lasagna also was delicious and I enjoyed it the tomatoes Bertucci sauce. Thank you guys.

My waitress Maja was very professional and she was the best waitress I have had in a long time anywhere in the US! She would be a great waitress anywhere! Stop in and ask for her! The manager was not surprised with my compliments! Want a nice meal come check out this place!

I just had the pleasure of dining at Bertucci's and I have to say, the customer service provided by Marty was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked in, Marty greeted me with a warm smile. He was attentive without being intrusive, always checking in to ensure everything was to my liking. I left feeling satisfied not just with the delicious food, but also with the exceptional service. I can't wait to return and hope to be served by Marty again!

I ordered delivery through their website on April 24th and the Door Dash delivery driver who delivered it delivered it to the wrong place, yet indicated I had received it. This was incorrect. I called this particular store in Newton and spoke with Nicole who was absolutely fantastic. She was accommodating, transparent, and had a genuine care to help. Not only did she go to the place where it was wrongly delivered, she called the store to order it again and personally deliver it. This is in NO WAY speaking poorly of Bertucci's. In fact, this speaks to the level of commitment Nicole and her team have for their customers. I thank you, Nicole.

Only two female servers working tonight in a rather large restaurant that was moderately busy and they handled it with calm and efficiency. Shout out to Erika, and I'm sorry I can't recall her coworker. She was quick and curious as well. And oh, the food was great too. We had a plain large pizza with pesto, 4 cheese ravioli, and a salad.

We really appreciated the awareness and service of the staff. In particular, we enjoyed our server ms. Habibe’s friendly conversation and excellent service. Thanks to her recommendations, we were very happy with our meal choices. Spending time in places with such kind and cheerful employees makes the experience even more enjoyable

Erika was fantastic, getting us little extras like butter for our daughter and splitting our pizza with different toppings. Food came out hot and fresh in no time at all. Great experience!

This review is for the Newton location on Centre St. We hosted a little get together to celebrate my daughter's birthday with her friends. The service was top notch - everyone was friendly, courteous and tried to give the kids a great experience. The food was delicious. All in all, I recommend this place.

Great food and environment. We had Four Cheese Ravioli, Lasagna, and Anna Maria Chicken. Was delicious! The waitress's service was not as expected: delays in taking the empty dishes, the candle from the birthday cake was not lighten up, she prolonged to bring the check. All in all, we had a good time.

Awesome Service. Very attentive waiter and manager. Food was amazing including the warm bread straight out the oven. Didn't get a chance to have the pizza but the couple next to us said it was "amazing" so def recommend trying this establishment. The Sangrias were very flavorful and strong. 🖒🖒

I go to Bertuccis once every 2 weeks. I enjoy both dining in and take out. Today, I did take out. Nicole works in this area. She is always friendly and diligent when taking my order. She is so enlightening when I come pick up my order. She packs my food and separates the hot and cold items. She always brings a smile to my day. Keep smiling Nicole 😃

Nice place to have pizzas. Fresh and right out of the bric oven. Never disappoints. The staff is also friendly. Plenty of street parking available around.

Our server was excellent. Salad was very good. Spaghetti not so great.

It’s a 3 star experiance at best. Salad and pizza not great. Hate to nail another nail into the bertucci coffin, but this chain used to be good.

Ordered from here for the first time tonight. Going with 2 stars instead of 1 to give the benefit of the doubt that it might be better on a less busy day, but otherwise this is just sub-par. When our 1 out of 2 pizzas arrived it was just this sad looking thing in the included photo. Wouldn't see the other pizza for an hour and a half, and it was o-k, but cold. The Bertucci is suppose to have extra pepperoni and extra cheese. Maybe they were running low on both tonight as the cheese barely covers and the pepperoni is no more than you'd expect as a standard amount. Not sure what happened with the butchered slice in the picture. Dough (while warm) and sauce is good though, everything else could use some work. In hindsight, I wish we would have ordered from Little Pizza King instead.

Pizza TASTES Like Cardboard, they promote Free cheese when you spend $25. KEEP it!!! Tasteless, worthless, cardboard NO taste, no texture on the crust The signature TOMATOES they once used is NON existent Extreme difference and even the cheese quality has a cheaper quality It is Embarrassing to say that UNOS does a much better pizza, quite frankly- nothing to be proud of IF the General Manager Tried this Lousy Stale BORING cheese pizza, He Would Fire the Backline Chefs! Absolute disgrace. No taste no texture to the crust. I will AVOID getting Pizza and just maybe stick to the basics like Pasta. From 1991 I would visit religiously west Roxbury location take out for lunch and Come Same day for DINE in dinner!!! Now I’m discouraged from Coming in at all. Constantly Empty Restaurant and Now I know Why, they can’t be bothered to retain valued guests. Very sad aftermath from 1991 going on 2026 it’s ((((getting rotten)))) Beware, Avoid the cheese Pizzas!!! Once upon a time it was authentic

I ordered a Margherita pizza, and as you can see in the photos, it looks nothing like what it’s supposed to be — it’s definitely not a real Margherita pizza. I’m sharing the pictures so you can compare what they advertise versus what they actually deliver. I called the restaurant, but they didn’t refund my money. Very disappointing experience, and I definitely won’t be ordering from Bertucci’s in Waltham again.

All the dishes were horrible, not recommended at all We had the aglio olio, fettuccine in alfredo sauce, chicken picanta (not as horrible as the others), and garlic knots. Pastas were undercooked, bland and simply tastless

So disappointed with the food we ordered. This was for a delivery order, the staff had packed the tiramisu directly on top of the Alfredo which ensured that the tiramisu arrived melted (which I didn’t even think was possible with tiramisu!). Nothing was wrapped in foil or in a separate bag to even try and preserve the integrity of the dish. And the portion of Alfredo my husband and I usually order to split was significantly smaller than usual, and lacked an insane amount of sauce and salt. Overall, a horrible experience.

I just want to make this clear, this is a $30 large shrimp pizza. There is not even one shrimp per slice. I call to speak to the Manager and ready for this? Sorry, it’s an expensive ingredient. Sir, it’s an expensive pizza. Can’t wait until this location is gone along with the other ones, what a ripoff. Edited to add the fact that the “Manager” offered to make another pizza but I declined, I felt bad bankrupting the organization with another 8 shrimp.

Thought i ordered eggplant parm but got catfished instead. They told me i was funny and a great guy but it was all a lie 😢. Bread was super soggy and there was no basil

Was told 30 min wait turned out to be an hr wait and the host was also making pizzas without gloves. Super sanitary. Grabbing menus, seating people, then making pizza. Not to mention they sat 2 party’s before our party even when they arrived well after our party. Said there aren’t any seats and I walked around the whole restaurant and found about 10-15 tables empty. 😂

We love Bertucci's. However, the chef who cooked our chicken pacata SO WATERY and shrimp scampi just so bland - you should resign. We are extremely unhappy. MILLER'S ale house is better. I am giving one star because of your night shift Chef. Ordered 6.6.2018

Just ordered delivery to try them again to my disappointment nothing changed. I ordered 2 items simple order pizza and a sampler and of course I only get the pizza. both door dash driver and the resturant are at fault. first the poor driver cant speak or read english very well at all and the resturant does not make it easy either that write on the pizza box 1 of 1 nowing well that this is a 2 part order and hand the driver the pizza box and the complementary bread. they will never get me to order from this store ever again. now after 40 minutes on the phone no resolution. this is the third time it's happened to me that why i'm writting the review -1 stars
