Opinions de Aranya Restaurant Burnet
They were very friendly and welcoming, the dining area was comfortable and clean. Most importantly the food was amazing, definitely a new favorite! Give them a try!
So happy to have Indian food close to home and even happier that it was so tasty! The service was great and the food was better. Definitely going to be a regular here
Very happy that’s the town got some different food. Tandoori chicken and butter chicken were amazing, the garlic naan was obviously freshly made. New “I can’t decide” joint has been discovered
Excellent food. A large group of us ate here. Some had Chinese, Tai, and Indian. It was all excellent. Didn't care for the veggie stir fry though.
Best chicken tikka masala in Central Texas, and it's located here in Burnet. No more driving to Austin for Indian food. The family had other items that were also great!
This restaurant must be at the top of your list if you are focusing on Thai food. ❤️ It is a family owned restaurant where authentic Thai food is offered. Apart from tasting scrumptious, the quantity was appreciable too. I visited the restaurant a little late in the afternoon, around 3.30pm and hence they were out of Thai ice tea. I wish I had an opportunity to try that too. Ps. The door says restaurant closes at 2.30pm but I don't know why they have it. Always try knocking or opening the door as it was open and another couple who are apparently regular customers, told us this.
First time eating Indian food. It was delicious. Generous portions and very friendly service!
If you’re tired of the same old Sysco Systems fare that’s defrosted in a microwave, you’ll be more than pleased with the flavors and freshness found here. A delicious experience for me and my tastebuds!
Food is delicious and fresh. Highly recommend the Tikka Masala or Korma. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Best Thai restaurant in the area. The food is very good and fresh here. Highly recommend the pad Thai and all the curries. Summer rolls and crab cheese wonton are my favorite apps. There is also a thai store inside the restaurant so you can get everything from thai tea mix to spices and snacks. If you love authentic Thai dishes this is the place to go.
The food is absolutely amazing! Best Indian food I've ever had. It's very clean and the owners are fabulous!
Great atmosphere, delicious, flavorful food, the naan was delightful as was the butter chicken. Great service, very helpful and friendly!!
TOP 3 Tikka Masalas I have ever had nation wide!!! Everyone's dish was beyond good it was incredible!!! I cant wait to return!
What a fantastic new addition to Burnet! Flavors of Asia offers authentic Indonesian, Nepali, and Thai dishes right here in our hometown - no more long drive to Austin needed. The owner’s excitement shows in the quality and care put into every plate. We started with the crispy fried samosas… so good! Just enough spice, and the mint chutney packs a flavorful punch. The garlic naan is incredible, crispy on the bottom, soft and pillowy on top, cooked in a clay oven. Perfect for scooping up my butter chicken, which was delicious - 10/10. My husband ordered the shrimp curry served with basmati rice and loved the flavor. We went with mild this time, but may try medium next visit. Don't pass up the masala chai - so good! The food is made fresh after you order. Service was top notch, the owner is out on the floor greeting and welcoming everyone. The remodeled space includes a beautiful bar (liquor license coming soon!). They’re in soft opening, so the menu is still growing, but there are plenty of great options already. We’re excited to support a local family bringing incredible flavors to Burnet and giving back to the community. We will 100% be back and highly recommend Flavors of Asia! (And if you love Indian/Asian cuisine, they’re hiring!)
The menu is small but diverse and full of many delicious dishes. So far we have tried the Korma Lamb, Vindaloo, Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry, Chicken Kebab and Sag Paneer all with both types of Naan. The staff will make anything as mild or spicy as you prefer. The Mango Lassi will soothe any burn. Everything was absolutely wonderful and I can’t recommend it enough. Burnet needed something other than hamburgers, Mexican, diner or fast food options.
Food was absolutely amazing. Fresh and delicious!! I think the best food in Burnet. I was intimidated by the menu but asked about what the indian food was and was and it was explained to me clearly and the suggestion for what I should order was perfect!!! I had korma with shrimp. Fantastic!!! The service was amazing as well. We will be back. Probably weekly. Haha Go try it!
This place is amazing! Owners are so friendly and every dish I've had exceeds my expectation. I go once a week and it's never disappointed!
Called to get the updated menu and they sent it to me via text! I am not one to like all Indian food, but the tiki Marsala was actually 🔥🔥 and I will definitely be eating it again. The naan bread was delicious, as well as the chow mein and orange chicken. My picky toddlers also enjoyed the dishes.
Indian, Napali, Thai and Chinese food. Very nice inside, people are very nice and friendly. Food was excellent. We had Tandoori chicken, Vindaloo chicken, mango chutney, samosas, garlic naan—all was delicious. Can’t wait to go again and try some other dishes!
We were blown away by the amazing experience we had tonight! The owners and servers were so friendly and helpful, the food quality was exceptional and they've done a great job of renovating and upgrading the space into a nice restaurant atmosphere. Super impressed and happy to have this place in Burnet! We'll be back!
I’m so glad that we finally have Indian food in Burnet! We really enjoyed our garlic naan, samosas, chicken tikka masala, and tandoori chicken. The service and food were great!
Very delicious! Had dinner with my family and the server explained all of the dishes and gave us good reccomendations. If you haven't tried Indian food yet, this is a good place to start!
FRESH MADE FOOD WITH A UNIQUE FLAVOR PROFILE. We are new to Indian cuisine and we absolutely loved our meal. We got traditional Indian curry dishes. I tried the lamb, which was fork tender and tasty. My wife enjoyed a chicken dish. The meal came with rice and pan cooked fresh bread. The unsweet ice tea has a hint of cinnamon and was really refreshing. The place is clean and inviting. We will return to this place again!
Yummmmmy! Was a little hesitant at first, but I had to research my self what Asia Continent covers and why they named it this way. It was surprising what I had relearned from ages ago. Then how do you bring that to a little town in Burnet Texas? This place can show you. We only tried the indian this visit and we are very impressed at the flavors of freshness. I had Korma Lamb he had Lamb Biriyani. And the Butter Naan..omg...what a star. Their tea is homemade with cinnamon, pleasantly different from Texas Tea. Go try it. Highly recommend. Service was excellent, owner checked at the end how everything was. I cant wait have my leftovers tomorrow and was so sad I had to slow down tonight (or it was all going away 🙃)
We were delighted with every bite of our first meal at Flavors of Asia—we started with Samosa & Chicken Momo (both excellent). The Butter Naan is made in-house fresh, in a stone oven—pillowy top & delectably crispy bottom; we had the Lamb Tikka Masala & Mattar Paneer, both come with fluffy basmati rice… I wanted to lick the bowls but restrained myself bc manners. Delicious, complex flavors; very fresh—and I’m so stoked to get to enjoy this close to home! Totally worth the drive from Kingsland—y’all, we can’t get food from this region of the world outside of major metropolitan areas—I’ve looked—and it’s top notch….so please go check them out! We want to get to eat here for years to come! This is their soft-opening—they are just getting started, and will be expanding the menu. Looking forward to eating our way through it!
Enjoyed the Pad Thai Chicken. This was a quick meal after taking the Austin Steam Train from Cedar Park to Burnet. Everyone else went west for lunch, we were the only ones that went east (no pun intended). I would eat here again if I am ever in Burnet.
Explore Nepali/thai/indian/chinese fusion cuisine that is sure to satisfy your palate. Their foods are surprisingly very good! ♥️
It is so amazing to have such a wonderful restaurant here in Burnet!! The curry dishes, appetizers and naan are amazing!! The foods are so full of flavor. That is what we have tried so far. We will be very regular customers.
I got the chicken pad Thai and it was amazing ! Just get mild if you don’t like a lot of spice . Different than any other Pad Thai I’ve had and definitely had an Indian twist to it and I really liked it. We will be back for sure.
This is our must stop restaurant when we drive from Austin to Burnet to camp or go antiquing. it is our favorite Thai restaurant in the Austin area (yes, including Austin :)). The food is delicious and fresh, and the service is always very kind. We usually get the Pad Khing with chicken and a noodle dish. The Thai Tea is some of the best Thai tea you will find in the area, it is very strong and has a great flavor. We also sometimes get the sticky rice which is a great end to the meal! We found the signs on the door confusing, it says ‘Take Out Only’ but you can eat inside, it is just the dishes are take out dishes (easier to pop a lid on and take home!)

Great customer service. Crispy fried okra and garlic naan bread were delicious.
We ordered the tikka masala curry chicken, a humble chicken curry, a tikka masala kabob with mint chutney, a butter naan, and a pad Thai. What excellent choices to order! The chicken curry was incredibly authentic, it reminds me of the best of my innumerable attempts at the dish. The tikka masala rivals that of tarka, including fresh veggies. The kabobs were delicious and tender and the chutney fresh as if made to order. The naan was fresh, if not as fluffy as I’ve had before, but I’m still floored by the quality for the locale. Finally, the Pad Thai puts the previous restaurant here, Aranya to shame. It was so flavorful and not weak on the spice either! The Pad Thai and naan were understandably not gluten free, but when asked the curry and kabobs were made to accommodate our food allergens and we experienced no cross contamination. I am so excited to have such a restaurant, I look forward to coming back and trying the rest of their menu!
First time trying this place today and we will definitely be eating her again soon! I ordered the paneer butter masala medium, perfectly spicy and amazing flavor. The sesame chicken wasn’t like “typical” sesame chicken but it was amazing too. Great samosas, naan bread and chicken chow mein. Our kids really liked their food too. Excellent food, friendly service, and the restaurant was packed which made me happy to see. We love our local businesses.
It is so nice to have a great Indian restaurant right here in Burnet! I have been to Flavors of Asia a few times now and am always impressed with the quality of food as well as the service. I have tried the saag paneer, butter chicken, samosas, and chicken momo. All were excellent. Don’t be afraid to order an entree spicy if you like some heat! The waitstaff are always nice and are willing to explain the food items if you are not familiar with Indian cuisine.
What a treat to find this wonderful restaurant in Burnet. Six of us ate there and ordered 6 different items. Every one was beautifully plated and tasted as good as it looked! Staff was kind to our 2-year old and brought his food quickly- it was delicious! Everyone was warm, friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to go back!!
Holy smokes, some of the absolute best Indian food I’ve had anywhere. The Butter chicken was perfect and the lamb vindaloo was amazing. The garlic naan - incredible. The samosa chaat - out of this world. Staff was very friendly and service was fast. I want to try everything on the menu now - that good. And in BURNET?!! Just awesome, will be back soon.
How amazing! The service? 5 stars! The atmosphere? They’re doing some construction but the vibes are impeccable. Definitely a great place to challenge your taste buds with no risk! Delicious! Flavorful! Fantastic! We will definitely be coming back again…. Maybe tomorrow? Probably tomorrow…..
I cannot express how pleased I am with this restaurant! The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. Everything tasted amazing and the staff was very attentive. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back!
This is Indian food with quality that stands toe to toe with the best in Austin, serving delicious recipes that do not shy away from authentic flavors, aromatic herbs, and interesting spices. This is not some anglicized version, it is the real deal. The restaurant is modest but clean, comfortable, and tastefully arranged. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our server was attentive and helpful, assisting people who were unfamiliar with menu items make informed decisions to suit their palate. It bears mentioning that the restaurant is next door to a gas station. Don’t be fooled, the food and service are world class.
I had a great experience at Flavours of Asia in Burnet. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, momos, and naan, and everything was delicious. The tikka masala was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, with tender pieces of chicken. The momos were fresh and well-seasoned, and the naan was soft, warm, and perfect for scooping up the curry. Overall, the food tasted authentic and satisfying. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re craving Indian/Nepali food!
We had such a great experience at Flavors of Asia and are so happy to support a new local restaurant. I ordered the chicken curry with garlic naan, and it was absolutely delicious. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My husband ate the chicken tikka masala and enjoyed his entree. A bowl of rice is shared, and there is plenty. There are three spice levels (mild, medium, and hot), making it easy to choose exactly what you’re in the mood for. I had medium and I definitely felt the heat, but it didn't distract from the flavor. We started with the veggie samosas and enjoyed chai tea with our meal. I also drank their homemade unsweetened iced tea and it well-spiced. (Heads up for those that might be expecting a regular iced tea) Everything tasted fresh and arrived at the table fast. They are waiting on their liquor license (in about 10-14 days as of Dec 11). Bar seating will be available. The service was excellent. Very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We’ll definitely be back.
What a lovely hidden gem. Great to have Indian food options in the area. Everything was authentic and cooked fresh & delicious, clean restaurant, manager mentioned everything that is made are the same standards and recipes as what he feeds his own family. Lovely bar area and great atmosphere and service Highly recommend!

Great Indian style food and amazing it's in Burnet. Lots of flavor, friendly staff and nice dining area. Only complaints were the portions were small for the price. I got the tandoori chicken and naan bread and I was still hungry and I don't generally eat large portions. My wife commented that it was small as well and she's 120 lbs. Hopefully they can remedy that because otherwise the food is excellent!

We walked in for 4 people (2 little kids that just ate before coming) we asked to order just chicken and rice to share I kept askin what size they come out he won’t answer and trying to order double including the drinks I was like no! End up walked out right there. I can see the food looks so good but really disappointed that waitresses didn’t do what I wanna order!
I didn’t like this place at All!! Ordered fried rice, noodles, orange chicken, chicken pad Thai for $75 that’s insane and small portions. My family didn’t like it so I ended up throwing all the food away. Will never go back!
