Fui el día domingo a desayunar al restaurante y me encantó. Todo el personal es súper amable, nosotros llegamos a pie y en caseta de seguridad nos proporcionaron transporte hasta el restaurante. Nuestro mesero fue Orlando y en todo momento estuvo al pendiente de nosotros nos brindó un servicio excelente. Lo mejor de todo es la vista que tiene el lugar ya que todo es de cristal. El precio va acorde a lo que ofrecen nosotros pedimos un platillo que se llama "ESPECIAL VISTA" que son chilaquiles con un medallon de carne y la verdad es que esta riquísimo.

Buen restaurante, excelentes vistas,servicio y atención.Felicitaciones al Equipo .

Great view from the roof of building with a restaurant on open air. The menu is quite small but great and delicious. In that same roof top there is a pool wich is quite large with bar service. And beside the pool there is a gym somewhat big with all or many aparatus some one would need. Best restaurant or roof top to be in afternoons ordering a banana split.

Food was delicious!! The staff was amazing. All the soups were so good, especially the cold cucumber and mango soup. The short rib was incredible & the Caesar salad had a really unique presentation with a Parmesan crusted bowl.

Exquisite atmosphere and lovely decor. This is a high-end restaurant—no flip flops, crocs, runners or hoodies. I experienced their dinner and the food was absolutely delicious with good portions. Our waiter Rocio took very good care of us presenting each dish, kept the wine flowing, and regularly checked in. Reservations are recommended.

Thank you to Moses and his team for a wonderful evening. The food, service, and setting were amazing. 100% recommend this restaurant. Plus the live violinist made it magical. Everyone in our party of 8 loved this night. Moses can recommend the best cocktails!! Will definitely being coming back when we visit Cabo again.

The salmon was delicious although a little overdone given it was ordered medium rare. The ribeye steak was very flavorful although again it was a little overdone given it was ordered rare. The short rib was a little overcooked although the flavor was still very good. The appetizers were great. The crème brûlée was superb. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. We would definitely come back.

Best views at the resort! Very service oriented staff and our waiter helped us take some of our favorite photos of the trip. We split the chef's special (surf & turf) and upgraded it to a larger steak and two lobster tails instead of just one. Perfect for sharing! We also bought a bottle of wine (Sangiovese), and it was super tasty! Protip: tap the bottom of the moon light on your table and you can change its color. We had a lot of fun taking photos with it 👌🦞🍷📸

I thought the views were beautiful, the restaurant decor was awesome and the music was very nice. The food was pretty darn good but portions were gigantic and not displayed in a 5 star fashion as advertised. The service was fair which was surprising. Overall a nice dinner but not what is advertised as a 5 star experience.....oh well !!

Unfortunately, I have to lower my review. Two days in a row they opened at least 10 minutes late. When they do open, the buffet is not ready. Some of the food is out but there are no utensils so you can’t start. There is also no one at the omelette station until 10:30.had I only come here for breakfast, the review would have been three stars but dinner was great. Amazing dinner. Beautiful atmosphere and view. The best service you can imagine. And time with my wife is priceless!

Dinner at this restaurant is definitely a 5/5, breakfast is more a 3/5, so we will go with a 4 rating. While staying at the Hacienda, we ended up here for dinner early in our stay and made sure to go back. We also recommended it to anyone who would listen (with people coming back to find us to say they had made their reservations or to tell us thank you because they enjoyed it so much). Beautiful presentation, unmatched flavours, and top tier service! Breakfast on the other hand is buffet style. The mimosas were decent but the food itself was never at the right temperature for the hot foods (warm at best, if that).

We actually ate at Mestizo multiple times during our most recent trip. The breakfast we ate was fantastic, service was great and the views were amazing. We had omelets and steak with chilaquiles and loved them. Our first dinner at the resort was here and it was a good way to start the trip. We ordered several appetizers and loved the coconut shrimp and you HAVE to get the caesar salad as they prepare the dressing tableside and it's amazing. We also had the surf and turf and each of us that got it were let down. The lobster just wasn't cooked properly and the steak was a decent size and thickness, but it almost seemed like it had been tenderized and was mushy. The second time we switched it up and got grilled shrimp and a different steak and while good it was nothing mind blowing. Unfortunately, on both of our dinner trips our service was slow and our waiters never seemed to be in a good mood. They are trying to be a fine dining experience but before that can happen some improvements need to be made.

Pros: - Great soup and seabass entree - Staff is great and very helpful - Breads and spreads as an appetizer - Views Cons: - The salad was just okay - too sweet and not enough balance with the lighter vegetables - The vegetable spaghetti was quite poor. It is covered in a sweet glaze rather than tomato sauce that does not match the pasta and vegetables. - Prices are very high

We are members at La Hacienda Encantada Resort and decided to try this restaurant out for the first time for a celebration since it was on-site. The views from the restaurant are spectacular, and the server was attentive in the beginning with taking drink orders and appetizers. The cocktails were delicious, but after that the food and service went downhill. The tuna stack was extremely small with barely any tuna, and the roasted duck entree was extremely tough and not very tasty. The salmon was overcooked and tough, and it took an incredibly long time for the server to check on us throughout the night. We were in the restaurant for over 2.5 hours waiting for food, to place orders, and the bill. Also, the music was loud and it was hard to hear those at the table. For the amount we paid for dinner, we definitely expected a better experience. I'd recommend going to a different upscale restaurant for better food and service.

This restaurant has the potential to be amazing!! The waiter interrupted us so many times it became laughable, it is best to wait on a table and try to keep your presence subtle. The food was good, albeit overpriced. I had the sea bass, a bowl of soup and my husband had coconut shrimp and an entree. I had a cocktail and he had water. Our bill for just our portion of the dinner was $220- too much for the experience we had. We waited over 15 minutes to get our bill as the couple who we were with had a coupon and they needed to verify it ( they had the entire time we were dining to do that as they had presented it in the beginning). The waiter made such a big deal of the fact it could not be valid that our dining experience ended in a negative way. This venue is gorgeous but some changes need to be made in the training to deliver the quality of service this location deserves.

The view, the wine and the service was great. If this place is included in your AI plan, ok. If not, don't bother going. Hi-end Cabo prices but mediocre food.

If you want to pay too much for mid dinner, this is the place for you. One of two appetizers was good, entrées were OK, dessert was abusively bad. Service was kind, but the model is obviously to exploit trapped tourists. Avoid if possible.

We are currently staying at Vista Encantada and had a reservation at Mestizo del Mar this evening. The restaurant atmosphere is nice but the food was decidedly not up to par. The Ceasar salad was rather tasteless. The ribeye was 50% fat and the rest was super tough. My hand is sore after cutting into the steak with my steak knife. The vegetables were almost raw and the mashed potatoes were cold. Two slices of cheesecake had two different tastes and consistencies and the apple pie was watery and tasteless. This was not a good experience. I had reserved two nights here and canceled the second reservation as we left.

2 Wows for this place. First wow is for the view. It has a 270 degree view of the Cabo coastline. Beautiful. Second wow is for how bad the food was. Simply awful. The olives in my bloody mary were good but nothing else. if not located with a resort, no way they would stay in business. tasteless, either under seasoned or over salted.

Had dinner dec 2022 and salmon was terrible. Over cooked and a fishy mealy texture. Returned it. Tried a mushroom dish which I kept but it was rubbery and little flavor. My husband had surf and turf and lobster was bad. Funny “urine” smell and steak had no taste. Back it went. Worst steak ever he said. Worst meal I think and bad fish and bad meat. Maybe go for glass of wine or dessert for the view. The view is great. Would be a fabulous place for a good restaurant some day.

My profile picture was taken 2 years ago at Mestizo del Mar. We had 2 exceptional meals here. Wow, what a disappointment this time. The service was horrible, un attentive, waited over 20 minutes before waiter approached table and things did not improve. I told waiter 3 times my salad and soup order were my dinner. And he still brought out my salad with my son and husbands salad. They ordered ceasar salads that were a soup of dressing with a few pieces of lettuce. Disappointing, last time the waiter did a beautiful preparation of making the dressing and salad table side. Presentation of dishes was not existent. Food portions were very small. My son's chicken curry was in a small soup bowl with a side order of white rice. My husband's new york strip outside was 1/4" gristle, with no seasoning. The cheesecake was supposed to have a fruit compote, it was a nice size of cheesecake with no compote. When we asked the waiter for the compote, he delivered a look of disgust. He then took the cheesecake and brought it back with 6 berries, no compote. Extremely, disappointed, we will not return.

Poor form on the new ridiculous dress code. Sending me and my family back to our room because we were wearing crocs and flip flops? Are you kidding me? We’ve been coming to this hotel for years… never had a problem. Would have been better to handle it one of many other different ways… 1. Tell us up front when making the reservation of the new rules. 2. Offer to let us stay and follow the rule next time. 3. Admit you made a bad call with the rule and let people on vacation do what they want! We’ve been so happy at this hotel for so many reasons… hence our repeated return visits. But this? What is going on? Really makes no sense. I can walk in with my “hey dudes” short sweat lang shorts, and a t shirt with skull and palm tree on it… but put crocs on or flip flops, and suddenly that’s not nice enough? Super surprised. By the way, the other new rule, no kids under 10!

Terrible experience from beginning to end. Do not come here unless you want to be disappointed. They claimed to not have our reservation until I showed proof of it. Brought food out cold. Forgot some of our friends orders. Cooked the steak incorrectly. Messed up the check. And then scoffed at us when we finally had enough and complained. I should've paid attention to the other bad reviews. Don't go here.

I am not sure why people say this is the best restaurant, especially people that book dinners at the resort. Food was cold, oily, dessert was the worst at the resort so far, I don’t even know what to say. All they have is a nice view which saves the bookings for dinners. My daughter actually got sick during dinner and spent hours sick after the pasta she ate.

We are currently doing an all inclusive package, this restaurant and food was amazing. Everything was good our service was good until the end when the check came out and it states that tip is included in the all inclusive package so we did not tip. The waiter grabbed the check before we even got up from the table opened it in front of us and began giving an attitude shaking his head and mumbling underneath his breath. He then slammed the check at the front desk clerk and stomped past us without saying anything. That whole interaction was extremely rude and did not leave a good taste in our mouth for the price we pay. My husband and I have absolutely no problem tipping but as stated it was included in our package. I hope no one else experiences that interaction.

Hands down one of the worst restaurants on the entire property when it comes to dinner. The waiter started out very well, coming over very quickly after being seated and taking drink orders. He kept the drinks refilled and took our order. Salads in the melted cheese bowl came out fairly quickly, as well as our appetizer. After that, it went down hill fast we were seated at 800pm our main courses didn't come out till 940pm and there were only a handful of people in the restaurant. All our orders came out cooked very badly we all ordered our steaks cooked medium they all came out medium rare to rare. I asked for mine to be fixed as I don't care for rare and was not what I had ordered. Our server took it back, and in under 5 minutes, it was back on the table less pink but was not recooked or made new, just microwaved. I am sure of this as it was very easy to cut and tender ribeye when it came out rare and in under 5 mins came out medium but tough as rubber. Told the waiter I didn't care for it, and no response was given and was left there with no other offer or choices given. Drink refills stopped coming, and even after asking for them, they were never brought out. Came around asking if anyone would like dessert so the family and i ordered some desserts, and the waiter only brought out two of them and didn't bring mine. When asked the staff that brought them about the missing dessert, they said oh did you want one as well. At that point, we had enough asked for the check and left. The inside of this restaurant is very well done, and the ocean and church views are beautiful. However, the dinner staff and the very poor quality food ruined anything it had to offer. Even with the all-inclusive plans they have, I wouldn't waste your time going here. You will leave hungry and disappointed trying to find something else to eat. If you don't have the all-inclusive plan, save your money. The 300 dollar bill for 3 people will just make you mad. Don't ruin your trip. Eat anywhere else

This is a beautiful restaurant with amazing views. The service was excellent. The octopus appetizer was the best that I have ever had. The chef special sea bass was not edible. I had a hard time even swallowing one bite. It was way overcooked and dry. The grilled vegetables were also overcooked and only luke warm. The broccoli was ice cold and on the same plate. If you go have a cocktail, appetizer or dessert. Save your money and skip the main course.
