Pequeño y acogedor restaurante en el centro de Cádiz. Tienen pocas mesas pero fueron muy eficaces en sentarnos (menos de 5 minutos) pese a no tener reserva y estar completos. El servicio fue muy bueno, profesional y eficaz. La comida está escandalosamente buena. Probamos las croquetas de la abuela (en este caso eran de sobrasada, queso azul y rúcula), las anchoas, la ensaladilla con tartar de atún, el el rollito vietnamita (el que más me sorprendió en lo personal) y el pulpo asado. Los postres no se quedaron atrás con el milhojas de crema de pistacho y limón y el coulant (que no recuerdo uno mejor). Todo por un precio más que aceptable. Sin duda, la mejor recomendación que puedo hacer en la ciudad.

Restaurante más que recomendado, sobre todo para probar platos con toques diferentes. Buena atención y precios muy razonables. En todas las ocasiones que he ido ha sido reservando así que lo aconsejo. Recomiendo pedir el Coulant de chocolate.

Buenísimo , llegamos sin reserva y solo dos personas delante de nosotros en 10 minutos estuvimos atendidos! Y comiendo. Todo buenísimo lo único malo es que terminamos de comer ! Jajajaja. 10/10.

Siempre es un acierto visitar la Candela , el servicio excelente , aconsejando y sirviendo los platos en orden y en sus tiempos , la cocina excelente , cocina de mercado con toques muy frescos y de fusión , la presentación de estos es muy buena , relación calidad precio un 10 , nunca defrauda .

Llevábamos tiempo intentando ir por las recomendaciones pero sin reserva era imposible. Ayer lunes fuimos y tuvimos más suerte porque pudimos comer sin reserva. Trato espectacular y comida exquisita. Nos quitamos una espinita y de qué forma !!

Restaurante en el centro de Cádiz. Posee una carta variada, en la que mezcla los sabores tradicionales con los de vanguardia. Ofrecen dependiendo del día platos fuera de carta. Bonita presentación de la comida. La atención del personal es muy agradable.

Es para repetir sin duda alguna. Las cervezas artesanas un punto a favor. Y los postres una delicatessen. Recomendamos llamar por teléfono para reservar antes, ya que se llena desde la apertura. ¡Volveremos!

La atención, simplemente 10 puntos. Están atentos en cada detalle. Probamos las croquetas de cochinillo, unas anchoas y el pulpo asado. Cada plato fue, sin exagerar, la mejor versión que hemos probado hasta ahora. Todo perfectamente logrado, equilibrado y una calidad insuperable. Una experiencia gastronómica que realmente marca la diferencia y que sin duda repetiríamos.

Nice place in the middle of the old town. When I visited, it was winter and I felt like I was the only tourist there, which made the experience even more special and authentic. The food was delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the wine was excellent for the price. I really enjoyed my time here and would happily return.

We had an amazing lunch at La Candela! The food was delicious — especially the patatas bravas, one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s a unique and cozy restaurant that really captures the Spanish spirit with both small and larger tapas dishes. We were a bit hesitant to go in, but left with big smiles and full stomachs. Cosy tapas bar hidden away on a side street. Some of the best food we had in Cádiz, loved the prawn taco, salmon maki and the Patatas! Would definitely return if back in this part of the world. Our waiter was also very friendly.

Another incredible experience for my last night in Cadiz! I so enjoyed the food hear, the fusion between Asian and Spanish was absolutely perfect! This was only round the corner from my hostel and was an absolute gem! I sat on the little terrace bit, and because I took so long enjoying the food I had to be moved to a different table for the desert. Amazing flavours! Would absolutely reccomend the Vietnamese roll. The best food I’ve had for a long time. The croquettes are the best I have ever had. The aubergine salad was delicious. The chips with tomato sauce were probably the tastiest fries I’ve ever had. All with two beers for less than 25€. Stunning. 10/10 isn’t enough.

Yummy!! We spent a few hours enjoying the beach and then wandered here hoping for lunch around 2 on a Sunday. Only the bar was available, but we were happy to get service. Staff was very friendly, we ordered the ceviche (yum! Enjoyed the textures and delicious, fresh and delicate flavors) and a plate of vegetables (wow!!!!, large serving size and inexpensive and wonderful variety and roasted so perfectly—accented with a side of fresh pesto and something that might have been roasted and crushed corn - both accents added additional flavor and texture and weren’t on the vegetables so you could take it or leave it as you wished—we’ve been really missing having enough vegetables on our holiday and this really hit the spot!!!) and a pork belly dish—also good! beer and a mango juice and bread. Very enjoyable dining experience, each dish was well timed after we’d finished the previous, restaurant was not loud, cute casual beach vibe matched our cheerful feeling about lovely Cádiz, clean, natural light. I’d recommend and probably come regularly if I was a local.

It’s an amazing bar that has an exotic dishes. Kind of mixed Japanese and Tai food. Meanwhile the presentation was good if you like to take a good picture. They are super busy that had better to make a reservation in advance. Highly recommend.

We came just as it opened and were very fortunate to get a seat a the bar to eat…. The restaurant isn’t big so best to book so you don’t miss out… they did have some tables outside in the square around the corner… the poor waitress had to keep trekking there with plates of food and drink but seemed happy enough to do so. She was one of only 3 front of house & there are 3 in the kitchen. But it’s ran better than most restaurants with 3 times the staff. Service is friend & efficient.the atmosphere is lovely because everyone is astonished by the food. We had a bottle of the “green wine” which we were allowed to taste before purchasing the whole thing (great idea by owner & the wine was delicious) Now for the food… simply EXCELLENT. The tuna tartare with pot salad was mind blowing… so well balanced. The croquettes of the day were prawn but if I’m honest I couldn’t taste any but what we did get was almost a Bombay potato flavour with the lightest and delicate centre. Best croquettes I’ve ever had. We also had the octopus which for my tastes was a bit too salty but was extremely tender & the also had the squid ink rice with cod…. Squid ink is salty but when it was eaten with a petal of the artichoke & cod it was perfectly balanced. Such a great evening and so reasonably priced for such amazing food.

Superb food and wonderful atmosphere - can’t overstate how lovely the food was and how brilliant the service was. Exceptional. We had the goats cheese salad to share as a starter and then croquettes, fish and chips, the Iberian pork cuts and fries. Absolutely delicious and all washed down with 4 glasses of wine - total bill just over €60. Would totally recommend this place and reserve or turns up early to avoid disappointment.

La cocina es buenisima con sabores fabulosos! El ambiente en el restaurante fue bastante desagradable. La puerta se abro todo el tiempo para servir bebidas a la terraza aunque fue una noche fria. The food was fine (quite average) but be careful with the specials as they took the opportunity to rip us off and charged 6x what the rest of the dishes on the menu cost. So disappointing and we left feeling absolutely conned. I understand that a special dish might cost more (maybe two or three times a normal dish on the menu) but when it’s on a different planet to the normal price range, it leaves a very nasty taste in your mouth. €68 just for crab and fries, plus the other dishes and drinks. I would avoid this place.
