Ate here several times on my two week stay in Cadiz and although my Spanish is pretty basic the staff treated me fairly. I noticed this was true for all patrons regardless of nationality or colour. Had several dishes but the stand out wad carne de toro ... so flavourful.

What can I say...words fail me....love this place !!!!!!!!....it's authentic 100% good food...frenetic and friendly and wonderfully noisy at busy times. Just dive on in to this place. Definitely go again.

Llevo yendo a este bar mucho tiempo, los camareros muy serios pero será que con así con todo el mundo, últimamente la tapa de carne mechada ha reducido s la mitad, no se porque, las gambas rebozadas te dan 4 gambas contadas, 4 por 3 euros, es una pena que reduzcan las porciones de las tapas, el precio sigue siendo igual y además te cobran 1eur por el pan, a 3eur la tapa y 2 eur la caña creo que no deberían cobrarte el pan aparte. En fin ha perdido mucho reduciendo así las porciones

Bar de tapas de toda la vida. La primera vez que hemos ido y nos gustó por lo que repetimos al dia siguiente. Bien organizado segun orden de llegada, servicio rapido ya que no hay muchas mesas y tapas tipicas gaditanas. Todas las que probamos estaban buenisimas y de precio mas que asequible. Recomendacion del atun encebollado y la pavia de merluza. Cuando volvamos a Cadiz repetiremos seguro.

Buen sitio para tapear , buenos precios , es muy recomendable.

A basic tapas bar aimed squarely at locals and possibly poorer locals judging by the clientele but it didn't put us off having a beer, soft drinks and a selection of the tapas on display in the food counter. We had some battered prawns and some pork slices on a bed of chips. The pork was excellent amd not at all fatty. Prawns were good but it was a small tapas portion of about 5. Beer was clean and cold and ao nothing to complain about. Worth while stopping in if passing by but not good enough to aim to go there. I dropped a star for the atmosphere but to be fair,mit's a no thrills place not trying to be anything else.

El trato es muy bueno, gran variedad diaria de tapas para llevar ricas, aunque las papas aliñadas han sido las que menos han gustado de todo Cádiz, de ahí mi comentario... Esta cortadas o para la gente con la boca muy grande o para compartir cada una con dos o tres personas, desde mi punto de vista deberían de córtalas más pequeñas... Pero vamos en mi punto de vista. Es un local que tiene fama por sus caracoles y es verdad los probamos y muy ricos. La carne al toro también está muy rica. Y el arroz no es la caña, pero no estaba malo.

Bar d toda la vida con comida típica d Cádiz. Pero a mejorar los camareros... Una pena. Y para nada vale la pena en entrar en detalles. Pero lo mejor es ir disfrutar d las tapas y juzgar uno mismo el servicio...

Tapas con relación calidad/precio aceptable y todo rico. Tan sólo seré crítica con las cabrillas. No sé si se turnan en cocina para hacerlas, pero es curioso que haya días en las que están para chuparse los dedos, jugosas, bien cocinadas, y otros cuesta acabarse la ración, pues la salsa es de lo más normal y las cabrillas se parten al sacarlas desperdiciándose mucha carne.

Bar típico y famoso de Cádiz con buena comida y un precio muy razonable. Llevo visitando este bar desde hace tiempo y hoy he estado allí y la verdad es hemos decidido no volver. Mucho ruido, pero lo peor es el trato, los camareros muy estresados y sobre todo uno de manera especial con Barba que parece que te estaba haciendo un favor a la hora de atenderte una pena. aunque es famoso que no se fíen los propietarios porque como sigan atendiendo así , terminarán perdiendo clientes cautivos como nosotros

Nebraska Bar is a typical downtown tapas bar, simple but well-loved by locals. The prices are hard to beat: two beers, two glasses of white wine, and four different tapas (around €3 each) came to just over €20 in total. The tapas themselves aren’t sophisticated or gourmet, and the atmosphere isn’t that of a chic seaside bar, people through serviette on the floor….But that’s exactly the appeal – it feels authentic, like you’ve stepped into everyday Cádiz life. If you find yourself near Playa de la Victoria and get peckish, Nebraska Bar could be a good stop to enjoy affordable bites and soak up a bit of the local vibe.

Okay, raising the price by 50 cents all at once is fine, but to get a takeaway lunch with almost raw potatoes, especially when you'd prefer lunchtime, is really unpleasant. They need to take care of their customers and serve hot, freshly made fries, and then not reduce the portion size, because then the value for money disappears.

Una estrella porque no se puede poner menos. En efecto, son muy atentos y serviciales CON SUS COMPATRIOTAS pero con el resto, tienes que buscarle el contacto visual, alzar la voz para que te tomen la orden y si quieres preguntar algo olvídalo porque te responderán de la peor forma. No soy de dejar reseñas pero esta ocasión lo amerita.

Very rude service and they treated me so poorly because I am from another country. In particular the front lady serving, who was pointing and shaking her head just looking at me (I have brown skin and am not Spanish) trying to turn me away, even though I was polite and wrote down and showed her exactly what I wanted, using the exact same spelling they used on their menu. I felt very uncomfortable and have never experienced this type of behaviour elsewhere in Spain so far. She was so angry that I was there and kept talking to the other customers whilst pointing at me. The food was also not heated up and was given to me cold, with no utensils/cutlery to eat. I had to eat with my hands a dish with gravy on the beach. Ruined my experience of Cádiz.
