Very good food quality! Will definitely come back next time! Shepherds’ pie is good! From my friends: salmon and short ribs are also very good! I would like to try them next time. Happy hour oyster is a must try (high quality oysters)!
Best place in Boston for dollar oysters! Incredibly fresh and delicious. They are huge as well. I come here nearly every other week to enjoy some. The calamari is a must try! The seasoning on it is so addicting, same with the sauce it comes with. The fries are a classic side super delicious.
We really enjoyed our meal. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, mozzarella sticks, burger with greens and poutine. We loved the cocktails too…ordered the Curious George and the Fig Mule. The service was great and ensured a nice experience. We’d recommend!
Had the pleasure of attending my first event at this quaint and eloquent restaurant! Perfect vibe for all age ranges! Friendly staff.Great menu definitely recommend. If you are in the harvard square area.
This was the best Bloody Mary we’ve had on our trip to Boston - Pablo is an excellent bartender and has a secret recipe scratch mix - yum!!! Delicious burger and Cesar salad too. Great music and friendly atmosphere. Five stars - definitely stop here when in Cambridge.
Paul made this first time visit a top tier experience. Right away, he gave us excellent service and attention. We are from out of town and gave us tons of other recommendations to check out in the area. The drinks were elite. Lastly, we ordered the Grilled Lobster Tail and it was accompanied by a corn pudding 🤩 This visit alone makes it worth coming back for when the Cubs and Red Sox play again. ⚾️
Great food and service, the short rib cottage pie was delicious. Our server was lovely and took good care of us. We went a little earlier in the evening and it didn't seem too crowded, no wait. The atmosphere is a plus, albeit a little dark inside.
Brunch here at the new location was excellent. Paul provided great service behind the bar (his jokes were the only thing that surpassed his service). Definitely coming back
We made reservations for 6 people. The staff were friendly and food was very good. I had a burger with salad and fries.
Since we entered it was a great experience. We sat at the bar with a great window view of Cambridge. Paul, as an honorable mention is the GREATEST bar tender in Boston. Super friendly guy and has all the answers to any of your question. Come check them out! Great ambiance and vibe to the whole place. Thank me later!
I had my birthday here over the weekend and took over a back area for 24. About 75% of the space was draped so it provided a lovely intimate atmosphere. I had planned this dinner way in advance and worked with Sandy at Grafton Street to choose our set menu and coordinate start and finish times. Sandy was very helpful and great with communication. When we arrived we took over our space and had two long tables with our set menu. Every grabbed a seat and we enjoyed 2 fantastic waitresses that help the drinks flowing and the fun going. Our dinner was wonderful and our 3 course meal was something everyone enjoyed. We were able to do a vegetarian option as well! I appreciated the flexibly and that we were never at a loss in our space. We all loved dinner and the experience and will certainly come here again!
Had an absolutely lovely time for brunch today with Bella as our server. Food was excellent and service was attentive, super friendly, and very professional. The desserts were particularly impressive, we had the mousse and the key lime pie and both were outstanding. Finally, the ambience and the location itself are beautiful and expertly decorated. Such a stunning place to sit and eat.
What a fantastic place in the heart of the city!! Paul is a master craftsman behind the bar. The decor and ambience harkens back to Ireland! I finally got the very rare Blanton bourbon here. Thanks Paul. Cheers!
Stopped by here for a drink. Grafton Street is a fun, spacious bar and restaurant right in Harvard Square. It’s got a good vibe, nice staff and cold beer. Our server was attentive and nice. Overall a good spot.
Really enjoyable experience. The bar steak was perfect. And the drinks were on point. Props to the bartenders!
Had a great experience here. Very friendly service, loved the atmosphere, and great location- easy to the red line. $1 oysters were spot on. 5-7pm.
We have been visiting regularly this pub for the past year since discovering it, and are never disappointed! A warm, inviting atmosphere from morning to evening. Excellent food and drinks. Wonderful holiday decor as well. The staff is friendly, highly recommend stopping by for a pitcher of Paul’s mimosas on the weekend - our favorite!
Had an AMAZING time here. Just had apps and a glass of wine but food was delicious and the atmosphere was just right. Chill, dim light place, but full of people which livened the place up. The meatballs were unreal and the fries were perfect.
Stumbled into this gem. What a spread for brunch! Pancakes, steak and eggs, lobster cornbread pudding. Paul gave us all the recs and we had the best time chatting with him. Next time I come to Boston, this will 100% be a place I return to.
Grafton Street Pub stands out as a beacon for Irish food enthusiasts in Cambridge. The ambiance captures the essence of the best Irish pubs – it's warm, inviting, and provides a perfect backdrop for leisurely meals and conversations. While the menu is diverse, its true stars shine during brunch. At the forefront of this is their Irish breakfast, which I had the pleasure of capturing in a photograph. Generous portions complemented by high-quality ingredients make this a gastronomic delight. Every dish feels authentic and showcases the rich culinary tradition of Ireland. The flavors are both robust and refined, ensuring that each bite is memorable. If you're in the mood for a genuine Irish culinary experience in Cambridge, Grafton Street Pub should be on your list. I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a try. You won't be disappointed.
We had a great brunch at the very comfortable bar. The Irish breakfast was delicious and Paul is top notch at the bar. We’ll be back soon.
My sister and I came from TN and sat at the bar with Paul for our $5 mimosas!!! He is so sweet and welcoming!!! We had a great time and the food and OJ mimosa were AMAZING. 🫶
I went to Grafton Street today and everybody is so nice. Paul is a great bartender and he even gave me candy. He’s awesome but if you’re asking why he gave me candy. It’s because I’m 12 years old and I’m not some adult that’s getting candy. And the chicken fingers were delicious. They didn’t have Coke but they had Pepsi and that’s fine with me. Grafton Street is a great restaurant I totally recommend it. Lauren my waitress is great.
Had a great brunch at Grafton Street. Paul behind the bar made it so fun and made me feel so welcomed. I was traveling by myself and felt right at home. Definitely will come back every time I visit.
Excellent atmosphere, and even better drinks. Bloody Mary was just right. Service is great!
The staff at this restaurant went above and beyond! We were especially impressed with April, the general manager—she was outstanding. Our server was also fantastic (I wish I had remembered his name!), providing excellent service throughout. The food was delicious with the perfect variety to satisfy everyone in our group. The location is great too—an ideal spot for outdoor dining if you enjoy eating outside. Highly recommend!
We arrived late afternoon and the whole experience was welcoming. Someone in our party wanted to see the Barcelona soccer match and they changed it for us when the Six were finishing the last inning. We appreciated that! Food and service was great!
We sat at the bar and Paul B served us! He was so engaging and funny he made our experience beyond Awesome!! Today is his Birthday and we had the pleasure of singing happy birthday to him with the staff! Thank you Paulie B and Happy Birthday. Five stars all around
Coffee and burger were great (their new chef is killing it). Paul is the best bartender, talking with him builds character
Definitely a local favorite in Harvard Square. Came here at 11pm on a Wednesday and it was still packed. Great atmosphere, drinks, and crowd. Definitely worth stopping by. I myself got a Spicy Margarita.
Had lovely Saturday morning brunch accompanied by Paul behind the bar! He delivered delicious coffee, food, and plenty of laughs. The servers were very attentive, friendly, and quick to deliver our food. The decor is beautiful as well and decorated so tastefully for the holiday!
Love this spot for brunch! I am not in Boston often, but I always make a point to stop by and see Paul at the bar. I always feel welcomed in this cozy pub. The food is delicious, the drinks are cold, but more than anything, the bar is full of good cheer.
We had the best time here after taking a short trip from Boston totour the Harvard area. The vibes are great and Paul was the most fun! Best bartender we’ve had on our trip. Great story teller and the beer and cocktail selection is strong.
Great waitress, food good enough, noisy but fun. Very kind they bought a cake for my bday. Did the 1 dollar oysters. Friend chose 40 in man v food. Epic fail at 24. We are now in the Russell Tavern.
Food quality was slightly under seasoned but otherwise ok, possibly due to ordering the Thanksgiving special instead of a regular menu item. Portions were slightly below what I was expecting for the price, especially the vegetables and sweet potato mash. Biggest crime, in my opinion, is an Irish restaurant/bar serving $10 draft beers with zero or hardly any head (English style) - feels almost comical. Service was outstanding and prompt, though that's a low bar to clear for dinner at 1 pm. Atmosphere was outstanding - a testiment to the effort and quality established in the venue's past life as Park Street Restaurant. I still wish Grafton Street incorporated more options from Park Street's menu given the operator is the same.
Fair price for the food you get. Service is a tad slow, but we also sat on the patio, so that's to be expected. The staff was otherwise very friendly. The take away food-wise are the mussels. Incredible. The clam chowder and lobster mac and cheese were also good, but didn't hold a candle to the mussels. Yum.
Very good food! Had the mezze platter , ceaser salad, harvest salad, half chicken and cottage pie. Mezze platter and cottage pie were the favorites. Cocktails were ok.
Love the beer and steak here. But the mussels' sauce is too salty.
We went for Sunday brunch and got the rush breakfast, chopped salad, french toast and the corned beef harsh. Food was tasty and didn't take long after ordering. Waitress was nice but never checked on us once food was brought. Food portion were good, so we're the prices. Bathroom was clean.
Very nice restaurant overall. The service is friendly and fast. The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere and a nice bar. The food is nothing to write home about. I tried the Grafton Burger, and I also tried their coffee. Both items were decent.
A lovely bar with $1 oysters (okie'ish)
Good bar. It has great vibes and their kitchen is open fairly late. In the pictures – fried chicken sandwich and burger.
A bunch of us just stopped here before a wedding for a cocktail. Bartender was awesome, very personable and made out short visit a positive one. On the way back we had to pass thru to get to our car in garage. This place was bumping with a great vibe to it. Have never been to Harvard Square but want to go back and see what it is all about. This place will be on our list to actually experience it in full. No pics as just a quick spot but worth a visit.
A really great harvest or Autumn salad coffee. It was okay inside but the atmosphere left me a little bit chilly
I love this place almost as much as it's predecessor Park. It's got a sprawling underground layout with an upper and lower patio area for outside dining, and excellent service with plenty of staff to cope well during busy periods. I have taken my work team here since the menu has options for all food allergies and restrictions and the cocktails are on point. Noise levels can be excessive with some guests being unaware of the concept of "inside voice" but there are spots way in the back that tend to be quieter.
was recommended this bar by a friend living in boston but was unfortunately a bit disappointed with the food, the fried calamari was really nice but we werent fans of the smoked wings or the poutine. perhaps a case of ordering the wrong things but the bar is lovely and the service is great
we got the fish and chips and the cottage pie. The fish and chips were good. The cottage pie had this layer of oil that sat right below the mashed potatoes that made it hard to eat all of it. It also needed more salt:( I also didn’t like that the server just charges your cards and asks for tip right in front of you— a little awkward since tip starts at 18%
Go for the Steak and Eggs on the BRUNCH menu. Tastes great, and its the best bang for your buck. 18$. Appetizers are crazy small. Food tastes good but overpriced. The Grafton Burger is a dissappointment; its small, and for 5$ more they give you a small to medium amount of fries. They dont carry Sam Adams beer. Workers were friendly, ambience is nice.
We went to an impromptu brunch at Grafton street. Blueberry Pancakes were actually nice, if a bit bland, and were improved greatly by the addition of syrup. Corned Beef Hash came out on the wet side, but fortunately the eggs were cooked well (on the second try) and the flavor grew on us a lot! Overall, a fine experience, but nothing standout about it. Grafton Street is great for a large group looking for a nice brunch, as their interior is spacious.
The menu is strange. There is no cohesive culinary identity and it half-asses pub gastronomy. My dining mates enjoyed their meals but mine was cold, fatty, and under-seasoned. The atmosphere is cool, though cool seating has been valued over functional seating. I do not believe this restaurant is ADA accessible.
