Pho Cambridge

I went on a really busy evening and I was in a rush to catch my train back to London. I was able to place my order, eat and enjoy. And although the team forgot to give me a fork and it took a while to pay for the bill they gave such a warm and pleasant energy at my visit at Cambridge. I was even able to get a student discount! It was very busy so I understand. Otherwise, my experience was great I always love a pho!

10/10 experience! our server (Bella) was amazing and super friendly! super lovely food, too. we got a mango salad (very refreshing), some pork spring with both sauces and morning glory which we added some of the table chilli sauce for a little hint of spice. for mains we enjoyed 2 ricebowls, chicken was juicy and flavourful and the beef betel was delicious – definitely recommend! and we couldn't even finish it as we were almost stuffed from the starters. drinks we had a cucumber fizz and a pride punch which were both refreshing and tasty.

The steak and garlic pho was so flavorful and the generous portions make for a great lunch tomorrow! I always make sure to come here whenever I visit Cambridge. My server, Lia, was fantastic!

Edit: went again today and had Zhea as my waitress and she was amazing and friendly and as always food was brilliant! Just had an incredible meal! The food was absolutely top-notch, way better than I remembered. The service was on point—quick, friendly, and they really made sure we were enjoying our time. The atmosphere was lovely and clean, which made the whole experience even better. Honestly, I'd give it a 6 out of 5 if I could!

Had a really nice anniversary lunch with very nice and authentic Vietnamese food, we were served by someone called danny and she was lovely and gave me good recommendations for what to eat. We will be coming back!! (sorry for the bad photo, we already started eating)

The pho broth here is amazing, full of flavour! The Vietnamese coffee was good as well. Menu has the calories of all the items on there which is a fantastic addition. Would highly recommend if you need a warm up on a cold day. Vanessa was a very good server

One of my favourite restaurant in Cambridge. Food always fresh and delicious - large portions! Service is good and fast.

Excellent all round. Service good from the start, all prompt, important as we were eating pre-show. Just had mains, all excellent, especially the chicken curry.

Great evening with family and friends , the food was amazing and Houcine was very friendly, very professional and looked after us. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Kira just gave us one of the best dinner ever. The wok fried rice can’t be more tasty! One spoon of chili and a bit of chili sauce, and the sauce served with chicken wings. Added with a fried egg, the rice would be much more more more than better! The combination is perfect. Everyone must have a try!

Food is really good, portion are just huge. Had to take half to home. Our JD was very kind to us even there was a lot of us, as we had a Christmas dinner.

Even though the restaurant was bustling, the wait time to get seated was very reasonable—no more than 10–15 minutes. The staff were attentive and efficient, ensuring everything ran smoothly. They checked in just the right amount without being intrusive, which added to the relaxed dining experience. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and portion sizes—not the cheapest option, but definitely worth it for a hearty and satisfying meal. One standout feature was their innovative payment system. They provided a phone pre-loaded with an app to split the bill, which calculated the exact amount per person if you wanted to share the cost. It was incredibly convenient and felt like a modern touch that made the whole process hassle-free. Whether it’s for the delicious food, the thoughtful service, or just a place to warm up on a rainy day, Pho Cambridge is a spot I’ll definitely return to.

This is the first time I have tried Vietnamese food. Honestly, the food is very delicious. The restaurant is clean and the food is very delicious. The food arrived quickly, especially the service provided by the Tunisian waiter. He helped us choose the food and was very nice. Honestly, I give the restaurant 10/10 and I will definitely come back soon.

It was my first time visiting the Cambridge branch. This is a restaurant chain I always trust and enjoy as someone who follows a gluten-free diet. As always, the food was absolutely delicious. However, the music inside was quite loud, which made it difficult to have a conversation. I believe this may have been due to the positioning of the speakers in the dining area. That said, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I don’t know her name, but a supervisor at another restaurant kindly directed us here when we asked about a coeliac-friendly menu. Many thanks to her and the entire team.

Got served by Jaidee today, she was very attentive and lovely!

Lovely meal again. Restaurant was busy but accommodating for us turning up early. Some other diners really loud.

This place is amazing. Almost the entire menu has a gluten-free option. I ordered curry, which was delicious, but unfortunately I couldn't eat it because it was very spicy despite being the classic version. Instead, I got soup, which was also delicious. Even though I ordered two dishes, I only paid for one. The waiters were very helpful and polite. I recommend this place to everyone, especially those who are wondering whether it is worth visiting ❤️

Eve was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She anticipated what we needed without us even having to ask and made great recommendations from the menu. Our food came out quickly, and she checked in just the right amount — never intrusive, but always available. Eve truly made our dining experience feel special. We’ll definitely be coming back thanks to her excellent service

The food is amazing. I have lost count of how many times we have eaten here. Vanessa looked after us so well. We absolutely cannot wait to return. One of our favourite places in town!

Amazing, will come back. Jamie was a model employee and should be valued as a high rated employee and should be seen expetional waitress. We did have to wait for more than 1 hour however we could tell they were extremely busy and were more than happy to wait.

The food was really good. The baby squid and chicken wings starters were great. Highly recommend the Affogato and the dark chocolate sorbet as well. Our servers Kian & JP were very friendly and helpful. Overall a really enjoyable evening :)

Had lunch at Pho Cambridge and really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. We ordered a bowl of Vietnamese pho and a chicken fried noodles dish. The pho was quite nice, flavorful and comforting. However, the chicken fried noodles turned out to be more like a Thai-style Pad Thai, with a very strong lemongrass flavor. It didn’t quite have the taste or aroma you’d usually expect from Pad Thai or Vietnamese stir-fried noodles. Perhaps the recipe or cooking style could be adjusted a little to better match the description on the menu. Overall, it was still a lovely dining experience — great environment, attentive service, and even a postcard given at the end, which was a sweet touch.

Not the best pho I’ve had. Ordered the special pho with chicken breast, king prawns, and beef—nice broth. Loved the homemade garlic and red pepper sauce at the side 🌶️. Very busy restaurant

Had a great dinner with ladies at "pho vietnamese street food" Authentic ,I tried seafood springroll and king prawn currynoodle soup, and they were amazing. The flavours were bold and balanced, with fresh herbs and spices that complemented the dish perfectly. People were friendly and welcoming, and the prices were super affordable. The atmosphere was lively, and cosy

Service is good However the food could be improved that the soup should add some lemongrass to make it more tasty and the condense of soup could be increased. Besides, the beef should use a better quality one.

I ordered crab and tomato noodles broth. It arrived cold. I informed the waiter. He took it away and brought it back full of broth and hot but it had changed colour and taste. Brown instead of orange.

This was a disaster. We have used Pho, Cambridge and other Pho many times and in the past service and food was always excellent however when we went on Friday 13th it was just plain awful. Booking 17.45 - we told the waiter this was a pre-theatre meal. Ordered food and drinks promptly as we knew exactly what wanted - Spiced lemonade, Beer Lao, 2 x Baby Squid and 2 mains including a side of Chinese leaves. The waiter read everything back correctly. This is what happened 1. Lemonade turned up straight away but no beer 2.10 mins later squid starters turned up along with the Chinese leaves. We pointed out that the leaves were to come with the mains as ordered in the first place. These were taken back as no point in keeping them on the table to go cold. The beer had still not arrived. The waiter did go away and return with it quite quickly. 3. The starters were not as hot as usual and had maybe had been hanging around for a while. The beer had not been fully chilled - not warm but not cold either. At this point we should have smelt a rat..... 4. 15 mins went by and no mains so we queried it and was told 'they are on the way'. 5. Another 15 mins went by and still no mains so we queried again and got the same response 'they are on the way' 6. Yet another 15 mins went by and we queried again also pointing out that we need to be leaving very soon. We were then told that 'there had been a problem in the kitchen but your meals will be with you very shortly' 7. Another 10 minutes went by and we had to leave advising the waiter that we were going. He then tried to charge us for the appalling service we had received but we pointed out very politely the error of his ways. This may well have been a one off but the experience totally ruined our 50th anniversary valentines evening and we were nearly late for the theatre. We hope that someone from Pho can give some assurance that this was a one off and give a good reason why we should return again
