service was amazing, our waitress Cigdem was incredible. the staff did an amazing birthday celebration for someone in my group which was amazing to witness without it being asked for, who was also given a complimentary dessert from this birthday celebration. Cigdem was so so nice to us with the service being quick and the atmosphere being consistently good throughout the night we stayed without it being too crowded although it being a Saturday evening. thank you once again Cigdem for your amazing service we all appreciate you!

I’ve now been to Lavish Stevenage twice - once for my husband’s birthday and most recently for mine - and both times the experience has been absolutely fantastic. The food is outstanding - beautifully plated, full of flavour, and truly special. Every course feels like a work of art. From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. The team, including Cigdem who welcomed us with her beautiful smile, Oz the manager, Louie, NagaLaks were simply amazing - warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. After each course, the table was discreetly wiped and reset, and every dish was presented so thoughtfully. They made us feel genuinely cared for and turned our celebrations into something unforgettable. Thank you again to the entire team for making both of our celebrations so memorable. We cannot wait to return for the next special occasion :)

My husband and I enjoyed every meal, everything was very tasty and delicious. We definitely plan to return. The only downside was the noise level; it was quite busy and loud, which is a testament to how good the food is, but it made conversation a bit difficult as we had to speak up. Otherwise, it’s a great place and I highly recommend it.

This might be my new favourite place to eat. The staff are incredible, the food is flawless and the atmosphere is wonderful. I cannot fault this place at all. The first Wednesday of every month, we go to a different place. Lavish was chosen for November and we were really well looked after. All 6 of us enjoyed our meals, enjoyed the service and all left incredibly happy. I will be back! Thank you!

I’m in town for five nights and have already eaten here three times—that should tell you everything. Every single dish has been outstanding, from the appetizers all the way through dessert. Consistently delicious, beautifully prepared, and absolutely worth coming back for again and again. Highly recommend!

I went to Lavish for the first time on Valentine’s Day and I found the food to be extremely tasty. They had a special Valentines menu and it was hard to choose as there was such a nice sample of different dishes. The staff were very attentive without being overbearing and there was a great atmosphere. My only criticism would be that it was a little pricey, but having said that it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.

It has been 4th times that I have been this restaurant hearing always very nice things about. I wanted to go again and take my very valuable friend and his family with me. Eventhough this is a fine dining restaurant,it was kids friendly with outside area. Waitresses have been so helpful and polite as usual.This is one of the most valuable point of this restaurant.People are so nice there. We ordered some different dishes to share as well as starters.That was just perfectly cooked and presented. I admire you guys and I appreciate being existing. Keep doing it. Highly recommended

We had the Bottomless Brunch, and I had an alcohol free version. I had a choice of juices, not just run of the mill ones. Sometimes, portion sizes are smaller on a brunch, but the portions were very generous, and the options available were very good, too. Lovely atmosphere, and very good service. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely like to go back soon!

Anytime I come to lavish I always have an incredible experience. Last night me and a good girlfriend came and we were warmly greeted and complimented by all the incredible staff! The staff really go out of their way to ensure your experience is incredible all of them were a dream but I only managed to get Derya’s name but please could they all get some kind of recognition. The food and drinks were absolutely 10/10 I’d recommend this place to anyone! The ambience, the vibe, everything was so incredible. Lavish genuinely is one of my favourite dinner spots and I’ll never stop going and raving about this place. Me and my friend were so touched by the customer service I knew I had to leave a review and recommendation to anyone thinking of going. Please definitely do so! The staff are incredibly patient and attentive and even took numerous beautiful pictures of us!

Absolutely delightful. Loved every second of my time in the restaurant, the staff were so polite and the food was stellar. Our waitress, Cigdem, was so kind and thoughtful, she even took it upon herself to overhear my friends talking about our birthdays and organising a surprise cake. I cannot express my gratitudes towards her and her colleagues for making the day for me and my friends. Will definitely go again.

Went here last night with a couple of mates and we all had an absolutely gorgeous meal. All courses were perfect, hot, tasty and a decent portion. Staff were all friendly and attentive, they weren't pushy, they were only about when they needed to be. Atmosphere was great with someone playing guitar and violin. Will definitely be going back again! Rare to find somewhere worth paying the money for these days.

Visited Lavish once again and it's still as fabulous as the other times we've been. The food is amazing. Cocktails hit the spot. The cheesecake pudding is immense. We were looked after impeccably by all staff especially Tony. We will keep coming back!

Lovely atmosphere, went there with my wife in October 2024 for dinner and the decoration was next level. Really tastefully done, my wife really liked the look (please see photos attached of the Halloween decor at Lavish that we saw). Food was tasty, service was good too, we had no complaints. I am glad we made a reservation, because the place was packed (but bear in mind it was Friday evening). Lavish has good vegetarian choices too, which is always a positive. Prices are reasonable for what is on offer, and all in all, we would return to this establishment.

Amazing food, best rib eye steak 🥩 ever tasted, incredible starters and desserts out of this world. The service was top class . Live music all making an incredible and friendly atmosphere. Cocktails look amazing taste even better and the wine amazing. Definitely will be back dining here.

Great experience from the start, food, service and atmosphere.

Visited Lavish 2 weeks ago and I must say it was worth it worth worth it. Food was fresh, delicious, ambience was lovely too and loved my strawberry Daquiri. Tables spaced out. Had the buffalo wings and my friend had the scallops for starters both delicious options.

I had lunch there on a Monday, sitting al fresco and it was lovely. The staff were attentive and the food was excellent. I had the 2 course lunch for £12 which was great value. The Burger was absolutely delicious. I would definitely visit again.

Attended bottomless brunch, staff were attentive, food was amazing and drinks kept flowing! Highly recommend special mention to our waiter Murat for looking after us so well. Cannot wait to go back.

Very nice place! A small group of us went for the bottomless lunch on Saturday, we were seated in the outdoor area which was perfect for the lovely weather. The lunch included bottomless Prosecco, Orange, Strawberry & Raspberry Bellini's & a 2 Course meal. I had the halloumi with fig jam for a starter & the lamb sarma beyti for my main. We each ordered a different starter & main & tried eachothers dishes, all the food was amazing, my compliments to the chef! 👌🏼 I'm not really a fan of Prosecco so I opted for their other cocktails, the strawberry daiquiri did lack a bit in alcohol & we were very kindly given a free shot to compensate. The lychee martini was delicious🍹 Definitely going to arrange another visit soon

Lavish has quickly become a favourite for us. The interior is sleek and modern, creating a smart but relaxed setting. We’ve visited for both an evening meal and Sunday lunch. On both occasions, the food was consistently well presented and full of flavour. The beef at Sunday lunch was particularly good quality and freshly prepared. Service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the addition of live music adds to the overall atmosphere at weekends. A reliable choice for good food, welcoming service and a polished setting. Would happily return.

I absolutely love this place. It has great food and environment, specially if you go ona Friday night as they have live music. The service was good, although they seemed quite busy as the restaurant was full. Highly recommended!

Just in Stevenage for a day, don’t really like the city but the food here was amazing. Will come back only for this restaurant. Give the chefs a pay raise!! They were absolutely amazing, food was absolutely delicious but service was poor. The waiter forgot a dish from my order, had to wave multiple times and ask twice for it and finally received it. No one came to double check on us and if we need any more drinks.

First visit here with friends & every meal was delicious. Service is fantastic too. Definitely worth a visit, and we will be back. Make sure you book a table in advance as it is very busy! 👍

The food in this place was truly amazing. A meat eater's paradise and the portions are more than decent. Very impressed with their pan fried liver and shrimp appetizer. With a name like this I expected small portions but the food was delightful and the atmosphere and service wonderful

Me and my partner came here for dinner. We had the most flavourful Chicken Shish and delicious Sweet Chilli Chicken Tenders as a starter. The servers were very attentive to us and the other guests, shoutout to Denya and Ahmet! They came over to check on us very often and asked about our meals or if we needed anything. If you’re looking for somewhere new to try out, this is the place to go! 👍🫶

The meat was delicious and I would highly recommend based on that. However, the rice was a bit boring and could be improved. Overall, I still think it was 5 stars for me.

Enjoyed friendly, efficient service from Yannick and Max who brought substantial plates of well presented, flavoursome food. We're not local to the restaurant but would definitely recommend and return.

What a breath of fresh air to the Old Town. The attention to detail and service is excellent. The food is amazing. The decor and ambiance is perfect. This will be my regular eatery whilst I make my way through the menu

I Went for my birthday, it was lovely the service was really good and friendly, they even gave me a sparkly candle for my cake and sang happy birthday to me, the food was tasty. I love the ambiance of it, it didn’t feel like I was just on Stevenage it felt like I was in a lavish bar in London. Loved it would definitely go again.

Great place to dine with friends or family. Lavish offer a good selection of dishes from starters to main courses. I highly recommend Lavish to anyone. Never been disappointed of all my visit with them.

We went for the bottomless brunch, would definitely recommend, food was so good. We were all up dancing to the music, entertainment was good and drinks were topped up constantly.

Quite the Lavish place. I'd give this restaurant a high 4 for great selection of starters, sides and foods. Their mocktails are quite sweet but overall great taste. We ordered the steak, sarma beyti and cheeseburger. I gotta say their steak is very well flavoured and sourced from a pretty good farm. The sarma beyti is more a contemporary take and is pretty decent. Service is good.

Good night here on Saturday. Very good food and service. Only let down by the price of drinks. We all expect to pay a bit more but £4 for a 330ml Corona! Food was good, chicken shish top drawer and mixed grill nice combination. Really good atmosphere in the place and all staff great

Lavish truffle burger was great! mixed grill meats were a bit cold and tough though this was due to waiter not hearing first order properly so wrong order was brought out first so mixed grill had to be taken back so correct order can be brought back together with it. So it ended up just sitting on counter so other part of order can be cooked and brought back with it.He did apologise which was nice perhaps background music can be turned down so conversations can be heard more clearly? Maybe more complimentary bread could have been brought out while we waited?Plus side staff were friendly and polite.

Overall a nice atmosphere , the meal was good but the portion size is not it ... I think if you are looking for a nice cozy place to have lunch or dinner it is a nice location but for enriching flavour and experience and food ratio to cost not it I am sorry....

They say don't judge a book by it's cover, but unfortunately in this case I say do. 'Lavish' extends to the appearance, atmosphere and prices, but not necessarily the quality and standard of the food. My friend group and I found the flavours and taste of the food quite average with nothing really wow-ing us. The sign outside suggested the best steaks in town but came burnt on the outside and rarer than the medium we requested in the middle. Considering there are two other Turkish restaurants within a stone's throw, to which both are better priced and food more flavourful, I feel Lavish need to work a little harder in the kitchen or the pricing department.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and booked a table in advance to avoid any last-minute hassle. The location is convenient. While on-street parking is available, we opted to park in a nearby car park. Ambience – 3/5 The overall ambience was decent, but the lighting arrangement was quite poor and could definitely be improved. Food Quality The food quality overall was good, with a few standout dishes. • Chicken Shish: Extremely overpriced for what it was. The taste was average, the meat was quite hard, and the butter rice was also average. • Truffle Pasta: Really good — we loved the flavour. • Prawn Dynamite: The showstopper of the evening. Absolutely excellent in taste. • Dessert: Baklava was average, but the cheesecake tasted good. There isn’t a specific kids’ menu, but they are happy to make arrangements. We ordered pasta for the kids. A 10% service charge is added to the bill. The most disappointing aspect was the service. The attendants did not greet us or smile. As customers, we at least expect a warm welcome and a friendly attitude, which unfortunately was missing. No wish for anniversary/no cake as well. Very poor service.

Walking in for the first time, great impression, beautiful place and great atmosphere. Staff were lovely and welcoming but thats were it stopped! Ordered a lychee martin, awful. The food.... looked good but... ordered the monk fish silly me.... this is the first time I've got food poisoning, never again. Still recovering... Shocking! Speechless!

Booked a table for my 14 year old nieces birthday dinner. Walk in and the place is like a nightclub, music so loud can’t even hear myself think. Had 2 toddlers and a 3 week old baby with us, so was not expecting 3 grown shirtless men to be dancing around the tables flinging their sweat everywhere. My 14 year old niece was mortified and rightly so as it wasn’t appropriate at all. Asked if the music could be turned down a touch as we have a new born with us, this was met with a no, nothing we can do. we was not sent any email, text regarding this was going to happen today, if we knew we would’ve cancelled. Good wasn’t freezing but wasn’t hot or warm either, best thing about the place was the chips. No downstairs bathroom for disabled access. Will never return. The waiting staff was half decent tho. They slapped a hefty service charge on too.
