This place is so good! We've had teriyaki chicken with noodles, steak and chicken hibachi with noodles and tofu hibachi with noodles. We've also tried the Phoenix roll and the ebi ebi roll and they were both excellent as well. We enjoy coming here for family night out. The staff is super nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Fantastic! I’ve been eating here for over a year now and have not been disappointed at all. Each item I try in the menu is well made and tastes great! My go to, steak hibachi with steamed rice, is just amazing and tender! The staff is also very nice and give a pleasant experience each and every time I dine in. Two thumbs up. Adding to this review (june 3/2025)clearly still eating here and it is still delicious. They have now added Boba to the menu which is absolutely delicious and much less sweet than many of the dessert Boba places. A good addition to an already great place to eat.
Super cute, and clean dining room! Very comfortable. Service was great, and prompt. I got sushi, the rice was perfect, and the fish was high quality. It was super fresh, and delicious. My boyfriend ordered hibachi, and loved it. The meat was cooked perfectly, rice/veggies were delicious. We came on a Saturday night, had no trouble getting seated, or getting our food. Highly recommend.
The food and service were both equally amazing! I ordered the beach roll, which I will be ordering again. My partner enjoyed her chicken teriyaki bowl. We can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu.
They have the best hibachi with rice dish! I get the chicken or stake with fried rice so good! Their veggies in the dish are fresh and they give you a lot of food! Their sushi isn’t bad either. A must try!
OMG! BEST ETHNIC FOOD EVERRRR! Such nice polite staff. I messed up my order and they fixed it with ease and didn't make me feel any type of way. The food hands down so amazing and flavorful. Didn't even need sauce for my eggrolls. I would make the hour trip out here any day!
I have only ordered online to pick up or uber eats. This place is AMAZING. The food is delicious, the staff is so sweet! Anytime you call the ladies on the phone are so polite and patient. I eat this probably once a week. I cannot recommend enough!!! 😍❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful service and delicious food! We tried the eel roll, kid's shrimp hibachi, scallop, steak and chicken adult hibachi. Everything was amazing, the portions were very generous and will make a whole second meal for most of us. Everything was very clean and comfortable. My family is so glad to have found a new favorite spot.
Great food and it is fast and fresh. We come here all the time and get the Teriyaki bowl with steak
Moved to Saginaw last year and really wanted to find a solid Japanese spot. Hashi quickly became our favorite and go to spot! Review is late but thank you for countless great experiences both dining in and out. Can’t go wrong with Hashi great food and great people!
Hands down my favorite takeout! Fresh and delicious ALWAYS! Flavorful healthy eating!
i’ve never been in person but i order from here on uber eats maybe once every two weeks FORRR A REASON!! the food is soooo delicious and consistently good too also very well priced. 10/10
Great hibachi for a good price! The portions leave you feeling full which is nice. The taste is actually really good as my wife and I prefer this over a sit down big-show hibachi sort of restaurant. We opt for this place instead. It’s our go to spot. Restaurant is clean too which is important to see. And staff is really nice
Great food, good value. Surprisingly very few customers. I sat in for a meal on a Saturday evening and the only other people I saw coming in all did takeout or were DoorDash/Uber Eats/etc. Give them a try. Would eat here again.
I’m a driver for door dad and I get sent here so much I finally had to try the food. First off the manager is always so nice when I come in. We ordered the hibachi chicken with rice and the hibachi steak with noodles. Both were extremely good. The meat was tender and juicy and everything was very flavorful. I also tried the yum yum sauce which was incredible. The food was on par with much more expensive places so I am glad I found this. I can’t wait to try so much more stuff on the menu.
We've been coming here for just under 2 years, and it is our sushi place by fair. I always try to change up a little from my order every time I go. When they put the vegetable tempera on the menu I was thrilled. Gyoza and the miso soup are pretty standard for us to order to start our with, but I've had just about every roll there, and the hibachi steak. It is always been very good, and I haven't had anything I didn't like. Good selection of ramune there, but there are other sodas. They bring out the food like an appetizer and entree which is fantastic. The price is very good and typical we get everything we want for 60 bucks. I look forward to our next lunch date here while the kids are in school.
The staff here is amazing! I come here when I have to work a double, the food comes out made to order, and everyone here is very helpful! I would highly recommend the Phoenix Roll! I usually eat 2!
My girlfriend and I love coming here this is our go to sushi spot . Even after not having been here for a while the owner recognized us. You can tell she cares about her customers and is attentive to the service and quality of food that goes out. The space is nice as well and the decorations are lovely.
All the food was good, it was priced reasonably too. The Lobster hibachi was so appetizing. I love their desserts too. Will definitely be back again.
I love freshly made sushi; it's not a secret in my household. I tend to love many things about Japan, particularly their approach to cuisine (and maintaining their heritage and traditions for that matter) that has been lost to most of the rest of the world in the last 50 or so years. Quality food, presentation, order and cleanliness, flavor, etc., so I have a certain expectation for a place titled Japanese Kitchen. This was our first visit on a father-daughter day that is quite rare in itself, no less having an agreeable new place to try for lunch. I was not disappointed, and neither was my young daughter who's a notoriously picky eater. I had the King Kong Roll, she the California Roll, and we supplemented with an order of fried calamari (it unabashedly says squid on the menu, yay!), and we finished with two Mochi ice creams. Flavor and presentation were amazing, full of flourish that I was hoping to see, and the service was excellent. They seem to get a decent lunch crowd but are quick and efficient, as one might expect. And honestly for the quality, you'd be hard-pressed to get a better deal on freshly made sushi anywhere in town for the same price. We will return repeatedly for as long as they are open, and we'll certainly help maintain that as best we can! Update: visit #2 with the daughter is in the books, and another specialty roll marked on our 'to try' list! ❤ After the amazing experience with the King Kong roll, my daughter tried and demolished that one while I savored the Hashi roll. Equally delicious with balanced sea-inspired ingredients, but it must be said that The King has set a benchmark not yet surpassed. 😋
First time trying Hashi Japanese Kitchen and was excited to try their Takoyaki. We first had these fried octopus dough balls in SanFran’s Japantown and have been looking for them local ever since. These were a very good version. Even though they are much smaller, the ratio of dough to octopus was good and they were not overcooked. Definitely will be back for the Takoyaki. Seaweed salad was very refreshing and just the right amount of sesame. We just had appetizers this time, but we already have on our list to return.
Love this place. The owner is so sweet! Excellent customer service, cute atmosphere, the food is delicious and comes out really quickly. Good place to go with young kids.

I had the chicken hibachi bowl. One of the best hibachis in the metroplex. You get a great portion for the price and the food is full of flavor. The two lady's at the desk are very helpful and polite. Sushi was fresh as the show white roll is awesome
This place is absolutely amazing and the woman at the front that took our order was the coolest person I’ve ever met! They were very nice and they did their job well. I will definitely be coming back here again for sure.

Took my daughter here yesterday for an early birthday lunch. Their takoyaki and teriyaki bowl were delicious! The edamame was edamame. The sushi was what you'd expect from the more fast-foodish type of restaurant that they seem to be; mediocre, but not bad. Their sushi rice lacks rice vinegar, so that detracts from the flavor you expect to find in good sushi. You are able to dine-in, but it isn't a "sit down" restaurant experience. Everything is just brought out as it's ready. No pacing or course order. (Not a bad thing if you're looking for something quick though!) The one staff member that we saw/interacted with was very pleasant and the establishment was clean and welcoming. Overall, not a bad first-time experience.
I love this place! Always fast tasty and friendly. I highl recommend it.
Their food is excellent, but they removed the kids' hibachi from their online menu. So now I have to buy a bigger portion that is way too much food for my kids and pay more for food they're not going to finish. Kinda frustrating.
I’ve been to this location and really love their food — everything tasted great, and the vibe was nice. I had the shrimp tempura, which tasted amazing, and I highly recommend trying the King Kong roll — it’s one of the best! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because when we walked out of the restaurant, we could still smell food on our clothes. It feels like the ventilation or fan duct isn’t working properly. Other than that, it’s a great spot and definitely worth visiting!
Delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced. This was my 2nd visit. I will return. Unfortunately, my to go order was not correct, but not a big deal.
It a nice and chill spot. Menu is not too big and food was good. They have Japanese drinks like calpico. You order first at the counter and then they will bring the food out. So no waiters or waitresses.

The staff are en pointe, the food is awesome, never fails. Love how they cook their veggies, they’re always done PERFECTLY. The beaux is a big fan of their Ebi Ebi Roll. Give it a try! Edit: 4 yrs later and this place has really started overcharging for portion sizes. Just not feasible to afford to eat here anymore.
It's a nice, clean, bright spot for a few types of sushi and other small plates. For us, it was ok... but i don't know that we'd go again. The egg roll was good, but the sushi wasn't what I expected. The fried squid was so sooooo greasy that I didn't even taste it. But I can see where it would be a great fast food sushi option for those on a budget.
They give these menus but you get there and its a whole different price when you already drove up there than u order to go they still charge like there cooking infront of u doing tricks but the worse part is the little portion the foods good but not worth being charged like there doing it infront of u
This is definitely not your traditional Japanese / sushi restaurant. When you walk in it looks more like a Chipotle. Here, you order at the kiosk and wait for the sushi or hibachi to be brought to you. While the atmosphere was sort of odd...it was clean and the sushi was INSANELY delicious. Might not return, but it was a good first time experience.

I ordered an Alaskan roll and a rainbow roll. I order these two rolls no matter where I am. The Older lady, that was also the order taker and cashier and server, Brought to my table with something called a Hashi Roll and a cowboy roll. I explained her that it was not my order. I got my receipt out of my wallet. Which did not describe the names of which rules I bought. So she went to the back and she pulled the order ticket for the cook that said cowboy and Hashi. I told her I see it, but that’s not my order. She proceeded to put the two rolls that I didn’t order on my table and said you ordered this and she walked away. Absolutely terrible experience.
We’ve ordered from here multiple times, and each time the food portions continue to get ridiculously small for the price we pay. I’m not kidding I ordered the steak and shrimp combo and it included three shrimps and maybe a 1/4 cup of steak. I opted for no rice and more veggies and it was the “regular” amount of veggies I usually get, just LESS protein in it. Horrible and the prices we pay for it is just not worth it anymore. Taste is good but I’m trying to get my money’s worth of food not just bs.
Although I love the food here I’ve had continuous problems with when I order out. At first I just noticed the sushi rolls would be a little shorter when ordering out. But this last time It was ridiculous. My whole salad was covered in crunch bc there was barely any crab and cucumber. And the roll is literally half the size of what I would get in the restaurant. Please do better, I love the food but not getting scammed out of it.

I have eaten here several times and also order through door dash/ Uber eats and always order the kid’s portion for myself. When I came in today the on duty manager said I couldn’t order the kid’s portion and eat it there I had to take it to go. This is the first time that ever happens to me and it’s honestly so ridiculous. I would understand if it’s a buffet however it’s a meal that I paid for. I do not like to waste food and the portion on the regular meal is too much for me. They lack customer service.
I ordered the hibachi steak and ordered the yum yum sauce with it. It is an extra $1.25 and is a pretty small container. When I received it it wasn’t even a quarter of the way full. For $1.25, I should be getting a full container of it. They also did this with all the other sauces as well.

Everytime, EVERYTIME! we order to go and get a steak hibachi yall literally hold back on the amount of meat. But yet when we get a chicken its fully loaded! This has happened multiple times. There's no way a full size cut of steak is just 7 bites of steak. Seriously start doing right by all your customers not just the physical ones who dine in.
The lady working there today 01/13 was so rude . I went for an uber order, she asked to me verify it so i did. Even though i did she didnt want to give me the food , she put it to the side giving me an ugly look. She gave it to me till i put the gps, which in the restaurant you only verify the order.
I’ve ordered from here various times and enjoyed the food. However, the last two times I ordered, there was what looked like a bit of steel wool in my rice. Almost like the steel wool they use to clean off the grill broke and was in my rice. The first time it happened I didn’t think much of it. Then I ordered again a few days later and thankfully I inspected the food, because the same thing was in my rice. I’m kind of scared to order from here again.
Got delivery from here and it was basically inedible. Look I’m not looking for the greatest sushi ever for delivery. I got sucked in by the lower prices than a lot of the others around here turns out there is a reason for that. Should have spent the extra money elsewhere because I ended up throwing 90% of it out. Crossing my fingers I don’t get sick.
