Very upscale area so the inside is upscale 🍒 PRICE: ~$70 I think 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! •••• Overall Rating: 9/10 - I was surprised by how fancy this place was (it is in the Clearfork shopping area which is known as a bougie shopping center so not super surprised). - The biscuits were so so good I wish that I took a picture of them but I recommend those for sure! The fried chicken and kale salad complemented each other so well I highly recommend as well. - The deviled eggs were good but they are just basic so you can skip those (unless if you were craving it). - The pimento cheese was very good too it was packed with flavor. I wish it came with more bread but I’m assuming we could’ve asked for more. - A little pricier than you would think but honestly this place had so much flavor I’m not gonna continue to complain about that lol.

Went to Fixe Southern House in Fort Worth with my coworkers and really enjoyed it! I ordered the halibut for my main dish — it was delicious, perfectly cooked, and nicely seasoned. The sauce complemented the fish and vegetables really well. We also ordered the biscuits, which were amazing! I had mine with honey and butter, and it was the perfect way to start the meal. Definitely a great spot for good food and a nice dining experience.

Incredible experience, the flavors explode off the fork! The biscuits are the best I’ve ever had, and that’s saying something. Thankful we stopped in to enjoy this amazing restaurant.

Very good food, clean restaurant, and attentive / kind staff. We did some shopping in the area, and stopped here for a quick bite and for happy hour (3-6 fyi). This was an excellent decision to stop. Everything is made from scratch, cocktails were excellent, and plenty of tv options if you want to view a game too. Our server Adam did an exceptional job waiting on my wife and I. We will certainly be back when we come back tot he Fort Worth Area!

I highly enjoyed this food. The meal was hot and this is a great spot for brunch. I tried their biscuits with the jam it was honestly one of my favorite things that I ordered. I enjoyed my French toast as well. My only complaint is I wish my potatoes were a lot more crispy.

We go back to this place often for their impeccable biscuits! They have wonderful drinks, a great menu, the food is incredible, and the service is top notch. You won’t be disappointed whether you go for brunch or dinner.

Topped with a bit of salmon row .. worth trying out French toast was NOT too sweet! Tasty, light.. decadent The grits were better than expected. Absolutely Incredible Experience at Fixe Southern House! From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, blending upscale Southern charm with a cozy, welcoming feel. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was our server—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food. They guided us through the menu with expert recommendations and made sure every detail of our meal was perfect. Now, the food—simply phenomenal! We started with the deviled eggs, which had the perfect balance of creamy richness and a little kick of spice. The buttermilk biscuits were out of this world—flaky, buttery, and served with the most divine honey butter and jam. For the main course, the fried chicken was hands down some of the best we’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The shrimp and grits were equally impressive, with perfectly cooked shrimp and grits that were creamy and full of depth. The drinks were just as impressive—crafted cocktails that complemented the meal beautifully. And to finish, the banana pudding was the perfect Southern dessert, with layers of creamy goodness and just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, Fixe Southern House delivers on every level—outstanding food, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay and savor every bite. We’ll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend!

Biscuits are the best I've ever had and the chicken is beyond what I thought it could ever taste like. Arm chairs for every table is something over looked and really appreciated

“Great spot for groups, amazing biscuits, a standout pork chop, and a location perfect for a full day out!” Fixe Southern House is a fantastic option if you’re looking for a Southern dining experience in the DFW area, especially for larger groups. They were able to accommodate our party easily and made the entire experience smooth from start to finish. The service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations that really enhanced our meal. The food overall was impressive. The biscuits are a must-try — they came out hot, fresh, buttery, and full of rich flavor, truly setting the tone for the meal. The Brussels sprouts were decent, although they didn’t quite match up to the ones at Cut & Bourbon in Arlington, which are a bit more flavorful. Still, they were prepared well and made a good starter. We had several dishes and were pleased with almost everything. The halibut topped with blue crab was fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious. The salads were crisp, creative, and satisfying. The pork chop was another standout — massive in size, very well-seasoned, juicy, and definitely enough to feed two people. It’s a hearty and flavorful option if you’re looking for something filling and shareable. One of the most memorable items we tried was the lobster and crawfish pot pie. This dish is unique to the DFW area and absolutely worth ordering — rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s not something you’ll easily find elsewhere and really showcases the kitchen’s creativity. Another major plus is the location. Fixe Southern House is conveniently placed next to a movie theater, bowling alley, shopping, and several beautifully designed spaces, making it an ideal spot for a full day out. You can easily make a whole afternoon or evening around your meal here, and the atmosphere both inside and outside the restaurant is vibrant and welcoming. Overall, Fixe Southern House delivers a really good dining experience with quality service, standout dishes, and a great setting. It’s a strong 4-star restaurant that we definitely recommend trying if you’re in the area — and we’ll absolutely be back to explore more of the menu!

The fish was absolutely disgusting! I ate two bites and pushed it to the side because of how bland it was. The fries were seasoned very well. I’m not a fan of hush puppies, so I didn’t eat them. So basically, my whole meal was inedible. The fish had zero seasoning. In the description, it says that the fish is crispy. It absolutely wasn’t crispy at all. The biscuit was good with butter and honey, but besides that, the whole meal was disgusting. The only decent dishes were the fries and the biscuits. I definitely would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I think I’ll come back again and give another dish a try, but the fish was absolutely horrible. It’s very unfortunate that the food was nasty because it’s a very nice restaurant and the staff was nice. Two stars is only because the fries and the biscuits were good.

Food was incredibly bland or tasted dry/strange. Service was very slow. My husbands Benedict came with hard boiled eggs which was strange. My kids didn’t even like their dishes.
