Came in with my girl Sunday night and we were greeted right away by Jonah, who was super friendly and made us feel welcome right off the bat. He even asked us where we’d prefer to sit, which was a nice touch most places don’t offer. We sat at the bar, the bartender Rafa took great care of us. He asked what kinds of drinks we were in the mood for and made some solid recommendations. We both had a watermelon tequila drink he recommended that tastes just like the Mexican watermelon chile lollipops which was so refreshing and yummy! We ordered the esquite and the quesabirrias, and both were super flavorful. Big shoutout to Chef Geo! The food was bomb and the presentation was aesthetically pleasing. Overall, the service was top tier. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend checking this spot out. We’ll for sure be back!
Had a late lunch here around 2pm on a Sunday. Would probably recommend a reservation at peak times, as it is a more cozy location. Have seen spot transition multiple times and this is a nice addition to DT Campbell. We had a group of 4 and we were able to walk-in and get a seat at the bar easily. Cute mood ambience and the bartenders were awesome! Super attentive and gave us great drink and food recommendations. The cocktails are fancy, with a lot of unique ingredients, like fresh juices and homemade chamoy. They also have a selection of decent Mexican beers. The food was really good! We got the guacamole which was pretty basic but opted for the homemade chicharrones to dip, which were amazing. Ordered the carne molcajete to share. Meats were cooked perfectly (even the steak), which can be hard with the pot overcooking. The pork belly tacos were also good - meat was tender. Friends ordered the enchiladas and the chile verde sauce was to die for. They also have homemade flour and corn tortillas, beans (3 different options) and rice which came with the entrees. It’s definitely elevated Mexican food at a bit higher price, but we all enjoyed it and will definitely go back. Hopefully they make it at this location!
9/27/24 Distrito did not disappoint tonight. Cocktails and food were on point as always. We felt the Lucid Dreams were just a scootch 'light' this time. Maybe it was a new batch that didn't have time to mature. It was still delicious but just a little light and not quite as full in the glass as usual. We're just happy to have it as an option! The Dulce De Leche Bread Pudding was tasty. It had a nice crispy exterior but it was a little watery. We think if they use maybe a thicker cream it will be stellar. It tasted like a churro. ❤️ We LOVE Distrito and we recommend them to everyone. ----------------------------------------- 7/27/24 Consistency is a factor we really appreciate, and Distrito Federal does not disappoint! We have brought many people here, and all have loved it. Don't come here if you're in a hurry. They are not in a rush, and they want you to enjoy your meal without feeling like you need to leave. The cocktails are always beyond fabulous and so well-balanced that you don't even taste the alcohol. The food is DELICIOUS and always fresh! I had mentioned before, the kale salad needed a little stronger of a peanut dressing, and they came through like a champ! It's tasty, spicy, and full of flavor. I tried the roasted Cauliflower tostada's and they were sooooo good! I just had them two days ago and I'm already salivating to go back! Thank you Isaac and staff for always making the experience top notch! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 2024 We arrived on Friday night without a reservation for 4 people and we were a little surprised at the 2 hour wait, but after trying to get in to other restaurants on the street, quickly realized it was a standard wait time. We are SO glad we waited! Distrito Federal is an absolute gem! It is small but MIGHTY! The cocktails are the best we've EVER had! If Lucid Dreams is ever removed from the menu, I think we will be physically ill! It's indescribable and the difficulty to craft it with the complexity of the brewing, fermentation, and purification is worth the wait (the cocktails take time to be delivered to the table), the money, and the chance you might be a bit tipsy after drinking it! It's the cleanest, smoothest, softest, most delicious blend of multiple different alcohols you'll ever taste. You CANNOT taste any alcohol. It is just lovely. The Cure for the Cause is ALSO FANTASTIC! It is so complex that you cannot identify the different flavors on your tongue at any given time. It is also a blend of multiple ingredients that are so balanced It's unreal. It's no wonder the Mixologist is award winning! They can also make wonderful mocktails if anyone in your group isn't drinking (too bad they are missing out in the real thing!). ;) Now, let's get to the food. I personally don't eat red meat or pork, nor can I eat cilantro so I was a bit of a complex customer for the chef. Most items are marinated in cilantro or it cannot be removed from the item so just know going in that it might be a little challenging to find an item but once you do it will be FABULOUS! We were all beyond satisfied with everything that was ordered and cannot wait to return! Everything was fresh, flavorful, crisp when it should be, soft when it should be, generous portions, and had the perfect amount of heat. The desserts were tasty as well but what stood out were the churros!!! DELICIOUS!!! Isaac is so personable and knowledgeable about the industry and the food he has created. He is a doll and makes you feel so welcome!! We truly loved our experience and can't wait to return. ❤️❤️❤️ Words for the wise, this is not really a place for children if you are able to get a sitter do so and enjoy! It's adult food and adult drinks and the space is very small so family night might be better elsewhere.
I'm so excited about this new little gem in Campbell! The vibe is great.. the food is great.. the drinks were yummmm! We ordered way too much for the for of us, but we finished it all and were super content leaving! The street corn was creamy and flavorful. The Hamachi shots were a surprise on the menu and delicious. Guacamole was fresh and right level of spicy. Street tacos, order the beef (steak) - you won't be disappointed. The enchilada was very tasty and a very safe choice.
Went in for a late dinner. From the experience of calling to get a reservation and the service at the restaurant, everything was great. The host (Kendrick) communicated well and had a truly welcoming attitude. Food and cocktails were delicious and served with care (by Dennis). We will definitely be back!
Another A+ addition to downtown Campbell. While I was bummed when the beer bar closed Distrito is a worthy successor. The hot dog was on another level and everything was 💯💯. Fun and fresh drinks will get u on that level 💨
We finally were able to try this smaller spot in Campbell and overall it was a very nice experience! They have a very creative bar with some fun concoctions and the manager Kendrick was helpful in chosing. The staff was attentive and interior decor was cool. What blew us away were the taco plates! We ordered the Birria and Chicken Tinga and both were fantastic. We will definitely return to try other things.
Super cute place! The service was really nice and pleasant. I really loved the cocktails Manu with all the pictures of the drinks, and the drinks were amazing!!!!!!!!! The food was delicious, everything was fresh and tasted good. The place was clean. Clean restroom. Great place!
Being a long weekend we were not in a hurry to get up early next day it's Sunday. We wanted to have good cocktail, bar bites & enjoy our late night just then we remembered our earlier experience here which was fantastic so thought of going. By the time we reached around 8.30 pm we saw the restaurant was fully packed (even the bar area) so went ahead & gave our names to be added in the waiting list we were informed it will take around 1 hr so we went for a stroll. As the hostess informed us they will text us once the table is ready it was very easy to track our number with the text msg they sent us which we really liked it.... We enjoyed the free live music going on in the nearby area crowd was fun to watch as everyone was dancing & singing we had a blast & then we headed back to the restaurant thought of enjoying few drinks while waiting near the outside area... As we came back we checked the bar ...still the bar area was full no empty seats, the hostess asked us ...Is this ur first time here ?? We said no it's our 2nd visit.... We loved our earlier bar experience so thought of revisiting she was so happy to hear that... then she asked us would u like to order some drinks while ur table is getting ready we agreed thought ok let's enjoy whatever table we get.... Doesn't matter....so we ordered a couple of drinks while settling down in the waiting near & within few mins our table was ready (that was quick we thought) we were seated outside near the main entrance which was so nice since it was quite chilly the heaters kept us nice & warm throughout the evening.... As soon as we sat our waitress Sandra came & introduced herself we told her we have already ordered few cocktails while waiting so she went & checked our drinks which were already made & ready to be served.... My husband ordered 24 CARROT - reposado tequila, carrot juice, orange juice, lime, habanero honey. I ordered FAMOUS AND ALMOST NAKED -strawberry mezcal, strawberry Campari, caprano antica. Both the drinks were fantastic we enjoyed every sip listening to the fabulous music..... For bite we ordered Street Dog - EL JEFFE all-beef hot dog wrapped in bacon, grilled steak, cheesy sauce, jalapenos, pickled onions, and fries. I was little skeptical seeing so many jalapeños... ( I remembered my last encounter of jalapeño at some other restaurant it was a nightmare....extremely spicy ... I had a difficult night & morning...) so was thinking of skipping it but my mind was like don't assume have a small bite & check it out first ... so glad I did it because it was not at all spicy in fact it gave a very crunchy & flavorful taste it was an awesome experience!!!!! Again it was fantastic... only sad part was to share it with my better half ......what can I say I just love hot dogs... Our waitress Sandra comes & checks on us ... do u need anything... I see ur glasses empty... do u need more drinks..??? Yes , please we would love to...!!! So my husband repeated his drink again 24 CARROT ... he is obsessed with this drink from our last visit... only thing is (I would have to learn it so that I can make it at home soon) this is me thinking in my mind... well will figure that out later ... for now let's enjoy !!!! I went for HERMANAS FUMADORAS -vida mezcal, yellow chartreuse, cane, orange bitters.I loved this one more then my earlier cocktail. It looks simple but nice flavors it suited my palate more.Anyway I love mezcal so I try to taste whenever possible.... Since we were little hungry then we thought so ordered from the Taco Special QUESSABIRRIA-beef quesadillas comsume, slaw, tomatillo and habanero salsa. We devoured every bite, along with the various sauces & the comsume . I asked for a spoon so that I can finish it didn't wanted to waste. We enjoyed chatting with Sandra & both the hostess who checked on us frequently we loved it..We enjoyed sitting outside it was a wonderful. We loved their customer service will definitely come back soon to enjoy other eating options along with our favorite cocktails. We love the vibe here.
The food was fantastic, well presented, intense flavors, good colors. The ace has such a great taste, really taking me back to those walks around to Polanco. Finally someone with good taste 😜. The service was very well intentioned, with some mistakes. I won't remove a star for that because they are less than 2 months old, they are still figuring it out. This is a very highly recommended place to go.
Cecilia and the entire Staff make you feel home and appreciated! And the food just hits every need and demand you got ! Had the short rib Mole ! Sooo good ‘ 😊 and the mora ‘ drink is fresh & delicious 🤤 definitely coming back !

Small warm friendly tequila centric pub with good food, good drinks, and good service. Had a margo and a taco trio, all very good with interesting choices. Very easy place to hang out a while. Recommended.
A little gem in downtown Campbell that our local friends recommended. Parking was not easy. After looking around a bit we finally found parking on street about 5 minutes away. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed, reservations only. It was a vibrant and beautiful place, albeit very small with only a few tables inside and some outdoor. The drinks were very creative and pretty. My margarita fresca with watermelon juice and two water melon balls rolled in salt and chili flakes was surprisingly a great combination, although the drink itself tasted a bit bland. The enchiladas verde was served artistically and tasted heavenly, with very flavorful and moist chicken meats inside that almost melt in your mouth. They allow you to mix and match the street tacos and we sample all three with meats. The al pastor one was tasty, and the steak one was good too but for some reason it tasted slightly bitter to me. Crispy fish tacos had beautiful presentation and were a hit! Overall it’s a great place with a whimsical twist on Mexican food and drinks, a little pricey for tacos but you pay for the ambience and artistry of the chef and mixologists.
Super cool spot. The establishment offers good eats, good craft cocktails and good vibes. There’s indoor seating, outdoor seating, and bar seating. We had a pretty early reservation at 6:30pm for a Friday night and it was semi busy with what may be the happy hour crowd (although I don’t know if they actually offer happy hour). Around 8pm, it was starting to get pretty crowded. Upon arrival, we sat outside while they cleaned our table for indoor seating. The waitress asked if we preferred indoors or outdoors, so we decided to stay outdoors since the weather was nice. Shortly after we received our tequila shots, a gentleman asked if we want to move inside so we would not be rushed. We were not sure what he meant as most 4-person reservations are allotted two hours to dine. He explained that there was a 7:30pm reservation and that if we moved inside, where we were supposed to be originally, we wouldn’t have to rush. The group decided we didn’t care if we sat indoors or outdoors, but given the fact that if we moved inside, there’d be no rush, we decided to go back indoors. Well, 1.5 hours later, after finishing our food and ordering our 3rd cocktail, we were told by the waitress that there was another party waiting. We were like, “Wait, didn’t you move us inside, so we didn’t have to rush out?” CONFUSING. Our host is a regular so he didn’t say anything other than, “We are planning to have dessert, so please bring us a dessert menu when you can.” As mentioned, food was good, drinks were good, and the ambiance is lively. I still plan to go back but this mishap with rushing people out and moving them around was slightly annoying. It made no sense as you cannot expect a party of four to dine and dash in 1.5 hours. General rule of thumb is 1.5 hours for two and 2-2.5 hours for parties of four. Other than that, we had a great time. This is in Downtown Campbell, so parking is sparse. Plan to park at a distance and walk over unless you just get lucky and are able to find a spot on the main drag.
I like what they’re trying to do. Kind of like a classy, fun, going out to dance, but you’re really having dinner vibe. The good: We loved our drinks. Margarita fresca and la mora. The pickled veggies were great. The refried beans had great flavor. The tacos alambre were delicious! Dessert was great. The bad: That being said, the music was too loud for my taste. I had to shout to talk to my partner, and I didn’t really enjoy the lighting. (See food pics) The server forgot about our appetizer, which was a bummer. I love aguaschiles, but I felt like they could have used more seafood on them for two tostadas. All in all, I left still feeling hungry after spending ~$50/person. This place is not my vibe, but it might be yours, so I still recommend you give it a go!
This place was going up on a Tuesday, like most places in downtown Campbell. Thank goodness we were able to get a table inside when we came around 9pm because these are some freezing temperatures this week in the Bay. Heat lamps for the outside tables! The quesabirrias are great. The tostadas are all great. They used to have fish bass and tilapia tostadas that are so spicy you can’t even taste the fish. Please bring them back! The cocktails are all excellently crafted except for maybe the instagrammy butterfly pea one with a bubble that adds nothing but magic. My favorites are the 24 Karat. And Beet around the Bush! Anything with mezcal is great. The service was friendly and attentive. We were constantly checked on and they always knew when we wanted another drink. Street parking and the closest lot is the outdoor one.

Cute cocktail menu and a refined atmosphere to start a night in downtown Campbell! Attentive service that checked in regularly was appreciated as well. I ordered the Chicken Tinga Tacos and Margarita Fresca which were nothing mind blowing. Overall, the food was salty. However, the rice had a great fluffy texture and the side of pickled onion/jalapeños was slightly successfully in cutting through the saltiness of the tacos. The cocktail was pretty much in line with the expectations I had.
Went on a Wednesday around 5:30 pm. We were seated right away. The inside seating area is just one small room and many tables and the bar area were already taken. The outside patio has heaters and you can enjoy the downtown feels. Service was great! Our waitress was efficient and kind. The manager (assuming here) never stopped moving the whole evening. He was here and there and everywhere. Always making sure that everyone had what they needed, whether it was the staff or the patrons. I felt like the cocktails we got were just so-so; a little bland, but pretty. The al pastor street tacos were better once adding the lime included. The crispy fish tacos needed the lime also, in my opinion. Even though I'm only giving it a 3-star review, I think it has potential. It wasn't a bad experience at all. Perhaps if we would have sat outside and had different dishes it could have been a 4.

Dropped in with Wifey and a couple of my yelp besties. .5 hour wait to be seated. Service was great and attentive. I ordered the Quesabirria $17, they were served in soft GREASY shells which tasted pretty good but an hour later I was tasting them again if you know what I mean 2 stars max. We got the Asada fries to share, “ Choice of meat, fries, grilled onions, cheese, guacamole, and pico de gallo“ this was really good 4 stars. Overall my comment would be stay from their Quesabirria “not worth the price or the upset stomach” greasy late night bar food. Most likely will not come back, they charge a premium for fancy looking “ elevated“ Mexican food that quite frankly is not.

Their plates keep getting smaller and more expensive , I went to pickup some aguachiles and they charged me 20$ for 5 shrimp with no sauce no onions no avocado basically nothing that was described in the menu
My wife and I have been coming here once every two weeks for the past few months. We used to love the food/drinks. On our most recent visit, the bartender informed us there was no salsa after we requested some when our food arrived. How can a Mexican restaurant not have salsa?! The short rib tacos were dry and the meat chunks were far too large and should have been made smaller like before. The margarita was essentially pure tequila, but the carajillo was ok. The drink menu has been reduced significantly. Overall, we were unimpressed this visit and won’t be returning. It’s sad when a restaurant you love doesn’t meet the great food experience it delivered previously. Please fix this before you lose more customers.
I visited here on 10/12 for a date night with my husband. All was well until I discovered i was charged twice. I called all week after 430pm until finally someone answered on Wednesday. The server said they do not have a shift manager only the owner could help me. I left my info. I spoke to Isaac on friday and he said to expect my refund no later than the following Wednesday. Well Wednesday came, no refund. I called back and spoke to another server then to Dennis then to another server. They all said the same thing... "Im sorry, but we can't do anything only Isaac and hes not here, I'll text him your info." It's now 10/26, I have no refund and no call back. Im extremely disappointed being as I wanted to support an establishment with the name of my home city. Hopefully, I get a call back or refund. Check your statements! They will charge you twice very quickly but won't refund as fast!!!!!!
