Fui a este hotel a festejar mi cumpleaños y decidí cenar en este restaurante y nos encantó, todo estuvo genial; excelente comida, excelente lugar y sobre todo un servicio insuperable, especialmente Lalo y Manuel nos atendieron de maravilla, fueron parte importante del festejo.

Gran experiencia mexicana, la comida increíble y lo mejor la atención de Carlos, que nos hizo sentir en una real casa mexicana.

Pedro provided excellent service and genuinely did his best to take care of us. They had multiple veggie options , we liked Burrito , Tacos , Empanadas and Tres leches cake… For Tortillas frying they might have used pans & spatulas used for meat and they were smelling very bad… Main reason for giving 5 stars is for Pedro …

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent—Marilu and Angel took great care of us, and both the manager and head waiter came by to say hello, which made it feel really personal and well run. The food was both delicious and unique, with beautiful presentation that made each dish feel special. The live mariachi music added a fun and festive touch to the evening. All around, it was a great dining experience. Highly recommend!

I recommend you book La Cantina for dinner during your stay at Moon Palace. Request Damian to be your waiter, if you allow him, he'll guide you through an authentic Mexican meal you'll never forget! Our favorites were the mole enchiladas, slow cooked lamb, queso, and empanadas. When we mentioned we were adventureous Damian treated us to a local delicasy grasshoppers (delicious) and Mezcal with citrus fruit and worm salt. La Cantina and Damian provided us more than a meal, it was truly a dining experience we will never forget! Those that are less adventureous - the tacos, flan, tres leches etc are tasty too!

Everything about this place is amazing! Manuel was our server & he went into great detail about what the dishes contained. They had mariachi during our visit & they walked around table to table, taking song requests. The food is authentic from the drinks to the dessert. Towards the end, Cesar, checked in on us to make sure everything went great. Thank you all for the beautiful experience!

I tried grasshoppers for the 1st time here!! The waiter brought out a small bowl of fried and seasoned grasshoppers to mix with the guac and eat with chips. The grasshoppers tasted slightly sour and spicy, and the texture of chewing them was like chewing on tea leaves. All the other food was delicious and classic Mexican dishes. The only dish I didn't like was the shrimp ceviche, which tasted like raw, unseasoned shrimp. We also caught the end of a mariachi show here.

Our group had a great dinner here. Our server Isabel was so good. They explained all interesting Mexican food we ordered and some extra special specials. The place is hidden away on the lower level but go find it. Was fun and delicious.
