Gave this restaurant a try after one of the servers flagged us down. I ended up getting some tacos and a burger. The burger was delicious and so were the tacos. Excellent view of the water as well.

Delicious food and fun drinks right in La Isla mall! Worth it if you’re going off resort for dinner. Drinks didn’t seem to have a lot of alcohol in them but still yummy.

This place is FANTASTIC! The best tacos I have ever had! Must try all of them! They also serve HUGE margaritas and they are delicious! This place is a must try for authentic Mexican food not to mention great service!

I had an amazing dining experience at Mister Papa in Cancun! The atmosphere is vibrant, and the food is absolutely delicious—definitely a must-visit spot. The food was good. Nothing special but tasty and service was friendly.

Our server Jorge was very nice and colorful. I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my friend got the vegetarian fajitas. Our views of the water as we ate were nice. I thought it was nice.

Despite all the other bad reviews I actually had a pleasant time here. Got a salad and tacos and thought they were both delicious and reasonably priced compared to the neighboring restaurants. Service was great too.

The portion size was just right, and everything was well-balanced. The service was also very good. The staff was friendly, quick, and made sure we had everything we needed. They checked on us often and made us feel welcome. The restaurant had a clean and relaxed atmosphere, which made the whole experience even better. I would definitely come back again.

The tacos(shrimp, meat,chicken), my shrimps were a little on the dry side, but my husband enjoyed his teriyaki chicken/shrimp. Mixed veggies also were yummy. It’s sad that they have lot of bad reviews, hopefully they get the change their customer services because lots of customers comes from the USA…

He will offer to take a picture of your group using your device, then give everyone a Sombrero hat and take a picture "for the website," then he will come back later and charge you for the picture he took. Overall the food was decent, I personally had the chicken and parmesean dish. The service was very good, the waiters were mostly attentive and quite nice. As per other reviews, make sure you double check your bill such that nothing was added that you don't want and that the peso conversion to another currency is correct on your bill.

He hovered over as my husband added a 10% tip. He was obviously not very happy with that and didn’t speak to us again, didn’t say goodbye, totally ignored us very hostile. You can’t provide a service based on the fact you want a big tip. If waiting staff want more then add it to the bill or don’t provide 10% as an option on the card machine. Where we come from 15% is for a really nice restaurant not a quick lunch stop. The food was nice but the nonsense with the margaritas and the tipping means I wouldn’t go back or recommend. You should provide good service because you take pride in your job.

Food was average, service was good. I ordered the lobster from the menu and was told that the lobster that they had was larger than the menu lobster and had to pay more for it. That was disappointing but since I craved lobster that night I paid the extra. I feel that I was taken advantage of. Too expensive for this restaurant and atmosphere.

The staff offered me and my friends free tequila shots and then added it to our bill. We disputed the charge and they claim we had to pay for the shots we didn't ask for or else. Not only were they trying to get extra money from us but he wrote in the price for the 4 tequila shots.The staff memberwho offered us the free shots admitted he told us he would pay and the waiter still stated we had to pay for it.We asked for a reprint of the check with the correct total and we were told he couldn't reprint the bill. Once we paid for the amount we agreed to pay, Security was called and the waiter tried to state we didn't pay him enough and hid part of the money that was paid to him and presented a reprinted bill. Please let them know this is not okay by not going to this restaurant. When visiting another country I deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. At Mr. PAPAS I was not. There are plenty of other restaurants along the strip that offer way better service.

Well what can I say.... This place was as the reviews say..... Simoly horrible! The drinks we big but full of sugar so stay away from the mojitos. The food was bland and the cheese was American cheese? Hmmm very very questionable???? 🤮
