Puerto Madero - Cancun

Puerto Madero offered a stunning view which enhanced my dining experience tenfold. I was able to take in the beautiful sunset as I dined. Ordered Razor Clams to start, they were delicious. Antonio was my server. Not only he helped me hand pick a perfect size catch of the day for entrée, he also made the best Lychee Martini. Grilled fish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor. It was flaky and tender, the roasted vegetables were equally impressive. I enjoyed this exquisite meal from start to finish. Before closing the check, manager Rodrigo came check on me to making sure a flawless service was delivered. Thank you. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing anniversary dinner last night. Our server Miguel was so attentive, made the best dirty martini I've ever had table side! The view and atmosphere were stunning but so comfortable. The food OMG. Table side Cesar, whole fish of the day and surf and turf. The Carajillo and Irish coffee were to die for. Can't wait for our trip next year

Amazing place. Honestly probably the best restaurant I have been to. Atmosphere is right on the water and phenomenal. They have a person make custom cocktails right next to your table. When I ordered wine they brought someone out who seemed to really know wine to explain some things. The service was outstanding. We were there for almost three hours but it didn't feel like it because they make you feel at home. The food is served on awesome presentation boards too.

Amazing experience ... you rarely get a view with quality food and kind waitstaff and this was definitely the restaurant for that. Everyone at our table was satisfied with their meal including two kids and a vegetarian. The wait staff were warm and welcoming. They definitely enhanced our experience by being kind and accommodating with the couple of request we made. The Caesar salad dressing was made table side and has been the best I've had. The rib eye steak had so much flavor and was so tender 10/10 recommend. The cheesecake was a win for everyone. Initially all but one wanted to skip dessert but when the cheesecake arrived we realized it was too good to pass on so much so that there wasn't a morsel left. It was comical to watch as we all grabbed a spoon and almost lunged to get a piece of it. The tuna tartar was also a win and more filling than expected.

Me and my wife came here after we was rejected by another restaurant. We was seated quickly in a spot we liked. Special shout out to limberg our waiter, he went above and beyond to make mine and my wife’s anniversary special. Thank you very much, he’s a credit to the team

The service is top class in this restaurant! We celebrated my birthday here and ordered the whole seabass fried with rice. It was delicious as well as the mocktail drinks, but the potato souffles were lacking. They weren't crispy, but a little soft and soggy. We had a gorgeous view of the marina from our seats. I only wish I had brought a cigar to enjoy on the terrace.

This was hands down my favorite meal in a long time! The staff was so attentive, Alex and Felipe really made sure that we were taken care of and were very hospitable and welcoming. We enjoyed their recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing, we got the ribeye and baby lobster. The steak was better than any US steakhouse I’ve been to so far, it was so tender, a perfect medium rare, and had great marbling. It was presented beautifully to us along with the lobster. We sat outside and had a view of the lagoon which was perfect for celebrating our anniversary. This is a meal we won’t forget, thank you to Puerto Madero for making our last night in Cancun one we won’t forget!

Ok, hands down one of the BEST restaurants we have ever been to! Every person at our table, 7 in total, were beyond impressed with their food. We ate several things—white fish, ribeye, surf n turf, king crab tortellini and fettuccine ragout. Also had a few appetizers; oysters, garlic shrimp and provoleta cheese. Everything was soooooo good! Cocktails were incredible too! Atmosphere is awesome—excellent music, super clean, soft lighting and fabulous service!!! Don’t ponder checking this place out—it’s worth every penny/peso!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My pictures didn’t do this place justice unfortunately…sigh.

Everything was great. Seafood was fantastic and so fresh, service was flawless. Cocktails were too boozy for my taste but I guess it’s a good thing!

We visited Puerto Madero for one of our last dinners in Cancun. We celebrated our wedding anniversary. We were greeted by the hostess and servers with kindness and warmth. We requested a table on the patio overlooking the lagoon views. As all the tables were for larger parties, the hostess and server rearranged a table and prepared an intimate table for two overlooking the lagoon. We enjoyed fabulous views of the water, marina and Cancun. Our server, Alex, was a true host and made our dinner truly enjoyable. Alex introduced us to ‘Queen Clam’ - Almeja Reina The ‘Queen Clam’ is served raw and is a true delicacy. My husband ordered the eggplant lasagna and I ordered the seafood spaghetti. Both pasta entrees were delicious and outstanding. Alex served us a ‘house flan’ as a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary. The flan was delicious. If we could give Alex and the team a 10 out of 5, we would! Puerto Madero’s food, service and hospitality is outstanding! Thank you for a memorable and enjoyable evening. We look forward to our next dinner! November 1 2024 We could not resist a 2nd and last visit for our last evening in Cancun. We sat in our favorite table overlooking the sunset lagoon and Cancun views. We had the pleasure of having Alex serve us again which made the evening and dinner even more memorable. Puerto Madero’s ‘Chocolate Clams’ were delicious! We loved it and will always return for this special dish. The Chocolate Clams were served ceviche style. The clams were so fresh that the clam meat moved when we squeezed lime on the shell. Chocolate Clams are worth taking a trip to Cancun and Puerto Madero. We enjoyed the ‘Flank Steak’, prepared and served with Tortillas, as Alex recommended. This is our ‘new favourite entree’. Delicious and flavourful! Our final night in Cancun was memorable with a romantic sunset dinner, with fabulous food and Alex’s excellent service and recommendations. We look forward to our next visit to Cancun and Puerto Madero.

This place is amazing! From the food to the service. Top-notched! Even better than high end American’s restaurants. We ordered Jumbo Shrimp and Fresh Oysters for appetizers. Then, the grilled fresh-catched sea-bass of the day that, they brought out for us to pick. The Surf-n-Turf was delicious, lobster was so good and the steak was cooked just right! Our waiter, Jesus was so nice!!! His service was great. He cooked the Flamed Desert Crepe for us. Everyone in the restaurant is super nice!! If I visit Cancun again, I’ll definitely be back!

Best sunset in Cancun, best steak in Cancun, and nobody has had better service. Great vibe with great music. Upbeat and good for families from what I see and couples. The Argentine Ribeye was perfect.

One of the best experiences we've had anywhere. The atmosphere is perfect, the view is beautiful, the staff is incredible but the food is the real star here. Everyone communicated clearly and waited on us like we were royalty. The Wagyu Ribeye was perfection. The clam chowder was creamy and delicious. The king crab tacos were unbelievable. Every bite was pure pleasure. We will most definitely be back on every visit to Cancun, don't miss the opportunity to dine here and enjoy the perfection of fine dining.

Amazing birthday experience for my husband. The food was exceptional, the staff wonderful and friendly. The ambiance was beautiful and we got to see the sunset on the water from our table… how special. Francisco our waiter did a lovely job ; he was helpful, friendly and made my husbands bday dinner memorable. We will definitely dine here the next time in Cancun. Gracias 💥

This is the place to splurge one or two nights whenever we are in Cancun. It's pricey than most restaurants in Cancun but still reasonable compared to the US. The staff is always friendly. They don't pressure you to order expensive items on the menu. Everything we had ordered was beyond our expectations. Good presentation, balance of flavor, and well cooked. We even came here late at night just for the desserts!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars!!! What an amazing food experience with the great view. Food was super tasty and the servers were super efficient and nice!!

Another trip to Cancun, and of course another fabulous dinner at Puerto Madero. It has now been over 12 years coming to Cancun and I look forward so much to dining there. This time it was Daniel again taking such good care of us. We met Alex as well. Simply fabulous! Thank you! My favourite restaurant in the entire world. Still after going there for 9 years, is still my favourite. Adolphus took exceptional care of us.

What a fabulous dining experience. It is 5 stars which is surprising knowing that the trip is filled with all inclusive resorts. Wine selection is fairly good. My favorite dish was tuna tartar. Very well executed. The staff was very accommodating and made sure we do have a great experience. It’s not inexpensive place but it is well worth paying. You would get the same exceptional service back in the States. Well done. Will come back again. 👍🏼

Food was delicious, and service was impeccable. I wish I had taken more pictures because we had so much food at our table. We were served a complimentary birthday dessert to celebrate a birthday. I also ordered a cheesecake to go. If you're a cheesecake fan, this is one to try. OMG!

Dinner by the water was one of our favorite meals in Cancun. The setting is beautiful. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. We shared the Caesar salad which was made table side from scratch. We also shared oysters, the grilled octopus and the baby lobster tails. Everything was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Another fine dining experience Cancun holds top tier restaurants. Puerto Madero is definitely on that list with unique menu you cannot go wrong ..... gonna have to try the steak next time I'm around looked succulent but you can judge for yourself check them out .....CHE'

This place was phenomenal. We decided to have one dinner away from the resort we were staying at and chose this place after it came highly recommended by our driver. We had planned to go somewhere else originally. The food-and the staff -were incredible. Definitely one of the best places we've been to in a long time.

We dined here for two consecutive days, and the culinary experience was exceptional. The Australian Wagyu we ordered, along with other dishes, was exquisitely delicious. My entire family was thoroughly impressed. The service was impeccable. We will certainly return on our next trip to Mexico. We highly recommend that anyone who hasn't yet tried it should definitely do so.

Steakhouse dinner on Friday evening Sept. 26 was phenomenal. Great service, place is higher end than most in the hotel zone. We got all seafood dishes, no steaks, but did notice nice presentations in nearby tables. Salad 🥗 tasty, apps tasty, grilled octopus tasty, and several entrees we shared at our table were all tasty. Highly recommended!

Absolutely top-notch — every single time. Must-try dishes: the carpaccio de marlin ahumado, the rich and flavorful beef broth, and the incredible mar y tierra board with tender beef and succulent bay lobster tails. The tableside Caesar salad is an experience in itself — perfectly balanced and freshly made before your eyes — and the crêpes Suzette are the grand finale, flambéed to perfection right at your table. Everything is simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Don’t miss the chance to order a bandera: a festive trio featuring tequila, sangrita, and lime juice — the perfect way to complete a flawless meal.

Amazing experience. Beautiful location, exceptional service, we felt spoiled. Every drink was made in front of us , I even gave him my own recipe and it tasted exactly how I wanted it. The food was a delicious delight. I tried the tartar sample plates, and skirt steak afterwards. Perfectly cooked ! ❤️👍

Our meal was fabulous. The service was great. The food was delicious. Portions are large. Three of us split the Argentine salad. I ordered the mixed ceviche appetizer and it was plenty. My husband said it was the best beef he has had in years. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I review a lot! I am honest (and sometimes harsh). This place is GREAT, honestly. Great food. Good , solid service. A nice wine list (which we find is allusive in Mexico). You won't' be disappointed.

PM has been consistently excellent for the more than 10 years we've been visiting, and our dinner this week was no exception. Cocktails on point, table-side Caesar salad (we think about when we're back home) as great as always, perfectly cooked ribeye. Johnny, our waiter, combined competence and personality to make the experience wonderful. Will probably make a third visit this stay.

Our waiter, Ildefonso was fantastic! Super attentive. Our cocktails were amazing. Mezcal martini out of this world! Cesar salad made tableside was delish! Steaks n octopus very flavorful. The cheesecake was fantastic! We make sure we eat here once or twice every time we are in Cancun❤️

We went to this restaurant when we were starving. The marketing that I saw at the airport was spectacular. The place is very nice, near to the ocean. The service spectacular and great atmosphere. The food was good, not wow but good. We ordered octopus with shrimps, provoleta cheese, natural oysters and Rockefeller oysters. After that we decided to eat some meat, Arrachera. I have to emphasize that the food was good like I said, but the meat was we incredible. Tender, great flavor and perfectly cooked. You need to try here the meat and the Rockefeller oysters. A place to come when you are around.

Probably one of the best restaurants in Cancun. Meat and seafood. Location amazing and the view is even better. Staff very attentive. Sea bass is top notch just make sure you tell them you want it juicy! Burgers Are amazing. The fries is to die for. Souffle The sliced meat taco dish is very good. Madero salad good but need to be colder! Note: coffee station need improvement most drinks are below avg. Flan and creme brulee were a little hard. They need to be more creamy.

Lovely location on the water. Very good service. Prime Rib Eye tacos, Chilean Sea Bass were both very good. Hot chocolate souffle was also very good.

The food and atmosphere were great, but I was frustrated by the service. Our waiters - all 3 of them - were very attentive, almost solicitous, but spoke only to the men and completely ignored me and my (30 year old) daughter. One waiter even tried to clear the table when I was still eating (actually chewing on my food) and it got uncomfortable when my daughter asked him to wait until I finished. Then they ignored our table for quite a while. It was my birthday dinner and I selected the restaurant because of the reviews. I gave the service 2 stars because the rest of the staff was helpful and friendly, but your waiters need some instruction about how to treat women. We won't be going back again.

Worst food ever. The fish was super salty with lots of seasoning and couldn’t taste the fish. When they explained this dish they said salt and pepper on it. I was not expecting this. The Cesar salad was drenched in dressing and lots of cheese. The Manhattan was soooo sweet, all the sugar was sitting at the bottom. The veggies were super salty as well. Spend so much money on a place that had great reviews but the food was horrible. Told the waiter and the the hostess and they didn’t care. Be sure to ask a lot questions before you order if you decide to go here. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it!

This was our first time trying this restaurant, and a very good choice after trying many restaurants looking for good seafood, I would say this is the best. Very nice place with fresh food and good customer service, we tried whole grilled snapper with grilled vegetables, and lobster bisque, incredibly delicious. We were served by GUILLERMO and BLADIMIR they were very polite providing a very good service.
