A classic, traditional Jazz bar with old-fashioned friendly rules, a casual, welcoming vibe and long-standing live music on certain nights. I have attached photos of the general schedule. Great bartenders, Great drinks, very fair prices, CASH ONLY. Don't dress like a slob, but you don't have to dress up. If you're in old Canoga Park, Casey's is not to be missed. Parking: a very small lot in the alley behind a back door, or along Sherman Way.

Always so welcoming here. The drinks are inexpensive, the live jazz music is charming (none at this time but they'll be back), & the regulars are delightful. They do have a max capacity of 28 at this time during the pandemic so plan accordingly.

Favorite spot for live jazz and chill atmosphere. The audience here is a lot older, so no place for young people looking to hookup. However you will find incredible and fun mature adults who can hold intriguing conversations. Drinks are always well served and affordable. ***Cash only.

It's time to get the young band players into the bar more often. The bar itself does need a face-lift. Hoping the new owners have plans to "Jazz" it up 😀

Casey's Tavern is the Hidden Gem of the San Fernando Valley they've had music here for over 35 years reasonable prices no cover, and a nice friendly neighborhood bar feel.

Live jazz. Reasonably priced drinks. Nice atmosphere. Oh yeah, no cursing allowed. Keeps things civil.

Casey's is the perfect dive bar. But it's not really a dive bar. First of all if you cuss there they'll kick you out. You'll get a warning but beyond that there's no cussing. Great live music. All the bartenders are wonderful. Seasoned professionals. It's a Canoga Park gem

A cozy lil' bar that has a great band that plays every Tuesday and Thursday :-) Band usually starts at 8 p.m. Definitely a great place to just relax and enjoy some jazz. The drinks are also really cheap, but very strong (and very good.) There's no menu though, so brush up on your standard bar drinks and they only take cash! There's an ATM inside too, just in case you forget to bring cash.

We stopped in for two drinks while waiting for another restaurant to open since we were hungry. One employee was extremely kind and welcoming, but once he left, the bartender with long white hair (old) abruptly told us we had to “wrap it up.” We were not loud, disrespectful, or causing any issues. The atmosphere clearly catered to an older crowd, and it felt like we weren’t welcome simply because we didn’t fit that vibe. We all work in the medical field and were just trying to relax with a drink and eventually eat. Unfortunately, the experience left us feeling uncomfortable and singled out. We won’t be returning.

This place treated us very disrespectfully after we spent money on a few glasses of whiskey and a few rounds of pool. They made fun of my boyfriend's hair and when he called them out on it they kicked him out. Rude.

We ordered our drinks and as we’re sitting our friend shows us a video and keep in mind we are not loud nor being rude and my fiance says a few cuss words and the bartender just takes our half full beers and kicks us out. I thought it was a joke but he didn’t give us any warnings.
