went to the canyon for a girls trip and found this hidden gem. Pizzas were amazing. Salads were fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. Staff was friendly and attentive. Great wine and beer selection. Would highly recommend.

Stopped into Mickey's after a long day of mountain biking at Palo Duro Canyon for a beer and to try their chicken parmesan. Staff was incredibly friendly, beer was cold, food presentation was awesome, and the meal was very good. Ended it w a piece of chocolate cake. I'd give them a try if you're in the area!

This was our first time here as we are passing thru but we’ll make a point to come back - it was so good! We had the bruschetta, scallops & risotto, lasagna and a side of fettuccine Alfredo. We got the tiramisu to go. It was all excellent. Iveth provided excellent service, she was very friendly and made sure we had a great meal. I definitely recommend!

We got two pizzas to go and an angel hair dish. This was the last day of our trip so we splurged. Lobster on a pizza? Say whaaat? Yeah, they offer it. If you are willing to pay the premium. However, it was delicious. All the food here was absolutely delicious. When I went to go pick up the order, this is a very upscale place and I would without a doubt say this place would be perfectly in good company in North Park, North Dallas, or West 7th in Fort Worth. Surprisingly upscale and actually beautiful deco. The online ordering system did not make the pizzas seem as big as they were. We probably in hindsight could have gotten only one pizza, but we ended up having pizza for breakfast and that was actually really awesome having lobster pizza for breakfast 😄. An awesome dining experience. When we come back to hike the rest of Palo Duro and CapRock, we are coming back for sure except this time we are probably dining in!

Wow! Met friends here for a phenomenal surprise dinner. They made an excellent choice. We were greeted well and promptly sat despite the busy, crowded restaurant. The appetizers and food tasted exceptional and were plated well. Each meal was enjoyed to our fullest and savored with eat bite. We are sure the locals know (IYKYK). We are thankful for a great evening and dining in such a cool establishment.

Phenomenal food here at Mickey's Place. Interior was beautifully decorated so it had a modern/fancy take on an Italian theme. The complimentary bread and sauce was delicious. Our server, Hunter, did an amazing job on taking care of my table, she was very friendly and consistent with refilling our waters! She was very knowledgable about the menu as well, and recommended some different pastas to me. I ordered the classic spaghetti and was quite impressed. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and it was a nice portion for lunch. The meatballs I added on were tender and were seasoned nicely. I also tried the chicken barbecue pizza, and it was very flavorful. I do not like charcoaled crust so hands up to them for not overcooking it. The barbecue sauce was very present in the crust and the chicken was tender as well. For dessert I tried the molten chocolate cake and it was perfect. The chocolate cake was hot and rich, and it absolutely melted in my mouth. The ice cream on top complimented it nicely and it was a good size for two people! Definitely will be back, great job hunter!

Lasagna was awesome and comes with meat sauce so save $7 on meatballs or Italian sausage toppings. I have a soy allergy and server acted like everything was homemade including meatballs and desserts when I know most prepackaged meatballs contain soy. She even said fried mozzarella was homemade. I did have a small allergic reaction that night. I’m pretty sure her definition of homemade is flawed. Pizza was okay but lasagna was amazing.

My husband and I didn't enjoy what we ordered. My chicken was dry and my broccoli had way tooooo much salt. Husband's meal was swimming in tomato sauce underneath a small piece of chicken. Some others got pizza and enjoyed them. Others complained that their cokes and sprites wasn't good and exchanged them for tea instead. The waitress was a sweetheart and dealt with the table in a professional manner.

The food was amazing. The server was slow and really didnt do well keeping our drinks filled. I'm sure she was busy but I didn't seem like she had that many tables. Other wise we loved peeking in on pizza oven.

First time here. No wait time, although we were a bit unsure which section of the restaurant (bar or dining) to go as there was not a hostess in the front. But got it figured out and sat ourselves down. It was just a few minutes later that the waiter came over and took our drink orders then our dinner orders. I ordered the spicy carbonara with shrimp. It was delicious even though the noodles were obviously broken when prepared because the dish had only short noodles when they should have been long. My husband’s dish was very delicious as well!

I've really hesitated about writing this review. I so wanted this to be the best Italian place in Canyon. It's good don't get me wrong, but not over the top yet. With reservations made and 2 customers at the bar, service was poor. The flavoring in the food was there, you could taste it, but was luke warm. Coffee was brought with cream, no spoons, and Luke warm. We will give it another try. Everyone has an off day. There is a full bar and 2 dining areas. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. There is street parking in front and in the back parking lot.

Atmosphere very nice although the stacked up pizza boxes took away from otherwise a fine dining place. The server was good but with a bit of table side training would be great. Extensive menu averaged price point. Cleanliness was on point. We had Salomon patty & jalapeño patato bite appetizers with a Caesar salad. All was very tasty. Very excited to go back and try a entrees. Be sure to say high too Chasity and Buck. Had the lasagna w/sausage excellent. Pizza boxes were not out.

Austin prices at Canyon atmosphere. Plus 3% surcharge when using a CC. Ordered lunch Alfredo ($8) with chicken (+ $4). Maybe a measured cup of food in total. Food was warm, but not hot. Call it Luke-hot. Sat at bar, bartender wasn't around much except for ordering, food delivery, and payment. Only have on the rocks margaritas -- not frozen. Do yourself a favor and try Feldman's or Joe Taco instead. Bigger portions, hot food, and friendly staff over there. I will not patron here again. I do not live in Canyon.
