Opinions de Mystic Lobster Cape Canaveral
Got the lobster rolls (Maine & CT), hush puppies, a crab cake, & creme brulee donuts. Everything was incredibly delicious! The crab cake was the best we've had in Florida & this is coming from someone with Baltimore family roots. Owner was super friendly plus the bar was a nice addition while we waited for our order to be packed up. Absolutely would recommend and hope they open an Orlando location down the line because we would eat there as much as possible!
We saw this on our way to the hotel and after checking it out online we decided to stop by. Fresh lobster isn't something we come by much in N.C. so I wanted to try it out. The theme inside immediately made you think of the coast, and we were welcomed by the lady at the bar immediately. We grabbed our seat and ordered after a few min. My mom got the lobster bisque which I tried and it was AMAZING. She also got the bang bang shrimp which was good too. I got the Connecticut lobster roll and it was warm and buttery. It came with fried, baked beans and coleslaw. All of it was so good and fresh! If I lived here I'd be a repeat customer.
Just opened last night and I'm already hooked! The Mystic Lobster Roll Cape Canaveral exceeded my expectations with their cozy beach vibes, clean atmosphere, and top-notch customer service. The crab cake is undeniably the best that you will ever have!! I know from the other location but Tonight the real star of the show was their Lobster Pot Pie - I'm still dreaming about it! This New England comfort food masterpiece had a flaky, buttery crust and a rich, creamy filling loaded with generous chunks of succulent Maine lobster meat. Can't wait to come back!
As locals, we were surprisingly pleased with the upgrade from the previous restaurant in this location. Having just returned from a 3-week “lobster abundance” trip around Nova Scotia and New England, we were interested in making a comparison. We weren’t disappointed. Great (and perhaps better) comparison to our northern dining experiences. We also found the quantity of meat in the rolls better than the other local lobster restaurant here on the island. Our server Chris was knowledgeable, prompt and courteous.
The Mystic Lobster was amazing! Great lobster rolls and onion rings too. Excellent happy hour deals - they had $1 oysters and wings when we went and they spin a wheel to see what drink discounts you get every 15 minutes. Great for families too. We loved it so much we went back again.
After our cruise got some breakfast here. Very pleased and food was amazing! Atmosphere is clean and cool spot for sure. Servers were very sweet!
The lobster bisque and clam chowder were fantastic. The clam chowder had a decent amount of clams too! The diner wasn't busy but it was mid week. I definitely recommend trying it. Ate here with my family and my parents.
I can’t say enough about this place! Total gem! The food is PHENOMENAL. I mean really PHENOMENAL. The crabcakes are insane. They are huge and filled with crab. Literally no filler. There are lobster rolls are overflowing with lobster. Everything is cooked and seasoned perfectly The cocktails are top notch. Service is wonderful. If you love seafood in a relaxed atmosphere. This is your place. Don’t pass it up!
Chris is fantastic! Very friendly and provides outstanding service. Food is good. Had the lobster ragoon (twice), smoked old fashion, and the grouper special (stuffed with crab cake and topped with lobster bisque). Enjoyed our time. The chef surprised us with a crème brûlée dish that is absolutely amazing. I don’t usually eat dessert but this dish was perfect. Will be back and will ask for Chris when we return!
I had the Connecticut Lobster Roll..yummy! Chrissy was our server and she was such a sweet girl who was exceptionally attentive. Her service was excellent. We will be repeat customers..Highly recommended ask for Chrissy. You won't regret it!
We walked here from our hotel. Food was delicious and made quickly. We tried a little bit of everything. No bad choices here, all of our food was amazing. If you’re leaving for a cruise and want fresh crab or lobster, you need to check this place out. Waiter was very knowledgeable and let us take our time and answered all questions.
Was in town waiting to leave for a cruise. Was write outside of our hotel. The crab cake is by far the best I have ever had. All crab meat with just enough filler to hold it together. The lobster rolls were also amazing. My wife couldn’t eat it all because of all the lobster meat. Win for me!
Happy Hour rocks! It was so good we went 2 days in a row! The crab cakes are amazing. Then we went back for Happy Hour, 3-7 weeknights for incredible prices on wings, rock crab, and cocktails. The first drink was 50% off, then every 15 minutes we spun the wheel to see if we would save on more. Super friendly and helpful staff - Sit with Katie at the bar for good conversation. Waitress Misty even helped us plan for our cruise!
This place has Amazing clam chowder!! We loved everything we ordered. Steamed shrimp has a yummy spice rub on it. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection. But the clam chowder was hands down the show stopper, you taste seafood in every bite. Our waitress Steph was the best. Next time we are Florida we will definitely stop in for a bite to eat.
Christy and Shaera were Awesome. Service was exceptional. I went for happy hour and had 12 Oysters, a Main lobster tail, and Crab legs for $41. The food was delicious and the food was even better. It was a great time for a single business traveler.
The food here was delicious and the staff was so friendly. I got “The ‘OG’ LBI” and have never had avocado and tomatoes in a lobster roll before, and it was delightful. My husband loved the crab cake; it’s clear why it’s an award winner. The fried corn was so good I’m offended no other restaurant I’ve ever visited offers this. I’d come back just for the corn. As Bostonians, we approve. We did have to wait a bit for the food, but reading the owner’s hilarious replies to the one-star reviews on here kept us thoroughly entertained. 5/5 P.S. sorry for the bite in my lobster roll pic, I was CLEARLY excited
Stopped in about a week ago with the family to have lunch, and we all thought our food was excellent. Between all of us, we ordered the crab cake, clam chowder, 1lb lobster plate (one of the daily specials), and the kids chicken Alfredo. All of the food tasted fresh, had a ton of flavor, and portions were mostly generous. The clam chowder had just the right consistency and contained tons of clams in every bite. The crab cake was mostly crab and not breading like other places, but for $18, I wish they gave you more than just one. The lobster plate was a great value and was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by the corn ribs that came with the lobster which was something we’ve never heard of or had before. Our kid’s Alfredo was huge and could have been an adult entree. Bonus points for Chris who served us as he did an excellent job of pacing our meal, explaining the specials, and providing some entertainment with his humor. If we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely look to stop in for a bite.
you’re looking for a meal that feels like a high-five for your taste buds, look no further. My recent visit to Mystic Lobster Roll wasn't just lunch; it was a full-blown culinary event. From the moment I walked in, the energy was electric, and the food? Absolutely legendary. The All-Stars of the Menu The Wings (A Hidden Gem): You might come for the seafood, but you’ll stay for the Chicken Wings. Crispy, succulent, and tossed to perfection, these beauties provide a satisfying crunch that leads into juicy, tender heaven. They’re a masterclass in balance—bold flavor without losing the soul of the bird. The New England Clam Chowder: This is liquid gold. Thick, creamy, and packed with more clams than a tide pool at low tide. It’s seasoned with such precision that every spoonful feels like a warm hug from the Atlantic. It’s the kind of soup you’ll be thinking about three days later. The Main Event: The Lobster Roll: Total perfection. We’re talking massive, buttery chunks of fresh lobster piled high on a perfectly toasted, pillowy roll. The Chef deserves a standing ovation for this one—the execution is flawless, respecting the ingredients while elevating them to elite status. Shoutout to the Dream Team A huge part of what makes this place shine is the incredible service. Sharon was an absolute superstar! Her energy is infectious, and she treated us like VIPs from start to finish. And to the Chef—huge accolades are in order. It’s rare to find a spot where the seafood is this fresh and the technique is this sharp. You are killing it! Bottom line: If you haven't been to Mystic Lobster Roll yet, what are you waiting for? Go for the chowder, stay for the roll, and make sure you say hi to Sharon.
Wow! This place is great. We got the chowder and lobster bisque to start. Both were so flavorful and full of meat. We also got their famous crab cake, which has to be one of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. We also got their tuna seared tacos and fries, which were also excellent. And the service was fantastic. Special shout out Jessie, our server. She was so nice and really took care of us. We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.
We came in the day before our cruise and this was across the street. It’s so cute inside and we were not only immediately greeted upon entering, but someone also held the door for us. Chris waited on us and he was very knowledge, kind and helpful. He remembered to give us disposable utensils with our leftovers since we’re in a hotel tonight. We had 2 cocktails, some yummy homemade lemonade. I had the Florida heat lobster roll and it was perfect! Sweet, savory, spice. My husband had the Nashville heat one and loved it. We don’t get seafood often living in Pittsburgh so it was a nice change of pace for us and a good experience for just picking a place!
As a man from the New England area originally, I have to say everything here is authentic. I had the lobster bisque, Maryland crab cake and New England lobster roll. Chris was an awesome server and got me very well taken care of. So much so I filled this out before even leaving the restaurant and ringing the bell on my way out. I will definitely return as long as the doors stay open!
Was craving a lobster roll and this place didn’t disappoint! The bun had just the right amount of crispiness and the lobster wasn’t over buttered at all. Wife had the scallops and Cajun corn maque and it was great too. Good option for cruise goers at Cape Canaveral. Chris was a GREAT waiter and totally accommodated us, even when our kids were being a little unruly. The only suggestion I would give is the scent upon entering. It was a little unappetizing, but at the table there was no smell. Will likely return.
Lobster tails were amazing. You absolutely have to get the lobster bisque. That is a must. Super creamy and tons of lobster meat. The Connecticut Roll was perfect. Espresso martini is a must.
Five star crab cake and service. With any luck Christine will be there to serve your table, she's fabulous. As are the lobster salad and steamed prawns. We'll be back!

CHRIS was amazing! Best service I had in a long time. I had the lobster and my son had the shrimp. For desert we had the fried Oreos and chocolate cake. Everything was awesome. Food came out fast and was awesome. I wish I didn’t live in Georgia so I could come back more often.
Chris - thank you for the amazing service! The food, atmosphere, everything was great. Between the 8 of us we all had a great experience. Look forward to coming back next time we are in town

First time customer from NJ. I never leave reviews for anyone but I was too blown away by this restaurant to not leave a glowing recommendation. If you're in town it's a must go. I have to say from the bottom of my heart and belly (😉) this was the best food I have ever had. I enjoyed their snow crab legs, fried corn and their New England clam chowder. I wish I could eat there everyday for the rest of my life. Don't miss it if you're in town.
OG Lobster roll was stellar!! Coconut shrimp was perfection. This place looks like nothing special but the food and service were great. And they have happy hour 3-7pm where you spin for the deal! Totally recommend!
Happy Hour rocks! It was so good we went 2 days in a row! The crab cakes are amazing. Then we went back for Happy Hour, 3-7 weeknights for incredible prices on wings, rock crab, and cocktails. Came in while waiting for our hotel check-in. We really liked the happy hour spin the wheel every 15 minutes deal, but didn't end up getting any real deals. We both ordered lobster rolls, half dozen oysters, and 6 all flat Thai chili wings. The service was great and drinks were strong.
Great spot - today’s lobster roll felt a bit dry, but overall decent food, extremely generous portion, reasonable price, amazing service. Only down side is the place doesn’t feel very clean Would visit whenever in town!
Went for happy hour/snack/dinner. Good, strong drinks and friendly service and atmosphere! A wheel spin determines your discount every 15 minutes, a complicated HH, but I'm pretty sure they just give you half off if the wheel doesn't land on an even #! Food was good, Conneticut lobster roll was fresh with a buttery bun that was like crack. Cole slaw tasteless. Beans were good. A tasting size portion of both wasn't enough. I'd go back to try the crabcake.
Nice, beach bar themed seafood spot, with a rather large lobster roll menu and plenty of options. While on vacation we stopped here for an early dinner and had a nice experience. The place has a decent dining room area and a nice little bar with a few taps and decent drink selection. The southwest rolls were a nice appetizer and were served with a yummy Chipotle mayo. For dinner i got the tuna tacos and my wife got the Connecticut lobster roll. Both were good and tasty. The lobster roll was a little small, but the price was good and it was tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend if your in the area.

Service was very good. The fries were great, the slaw and baked beans sides were a bit small, the Maine Roll was full of meat and avocado bits, I think next time a warm roll will be preferred. The Fried Avocado was a great appetizer, can be shared.
I ordered a lobster roll to go and had a great experience. The sandwich was delicious, the bread was fresh, warm, and perfectly butter-toasted, and the lobster was very flavorful. The baked beans were delicious, and everything was packed properly for takeout. The staff inside the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming when I picked up my order. This is not a complaint, just a constructive note, the coleslaw was a bit bland and lacked flavor. A little seasoning would make it much better. Overall, a great experience. Five stars, and I would definitely come back! 🦞⭐️

Popped in for late lunch and it was a cute & quaint spot convenient to hotel. Immediately had seat and got drinks. Food was good and average taste, the corn was very good. Service was to take order, deliver food, and deliver bill so minimal contact which some people do prefer while they eat.
The waitress is very nice, super friendly... The bowl of clam chowder was really small but tasty. The fried clams were so overcooked, they were almost inedible. The cheese steak was mindblowing how bad it was. Super dry and completely devoid of flavor. We did not try anything from the bar or for happy hour...
Service is a tad slow but very friendly. The lobster pot pie sounded better than it was, but it wasn't inedible or anything. Just not mind blowing. Fries were delicious, and many in our group had nice things to say about the lobster rolls. Lobster Mac and cheese also basic but came with a good amount of meat.
First time visiting this restaurant even before it became this restaurant. The service was great the food was good ( we had wings which were pretty good). We arrived and sat in the dining room and asked about the $1.00 wing special and said we had to get up and go to the bar area and sit in the uncomfortable bar stools. The building is pretty old and could use some updating. When you get the bill there is a separate price between paying cash and credit card. The prices are pretty steep but what isn’t these days. Was a decent place nothing too fancy, would be nice to be able to eat wings in a comfortable booth though
It was something close to out hotel to grab something to eat. Food was good, but could be way better. The lobster was overcooked but the roll it came on was very good. Calamari was ivercooked as well. Service was good.

The waitress was very pleasant, but the food took an exceptionally long time to come out and there was only one other table with customers. The warm lobster roll had a strong, fishy taste. I have ordered lobster rolls on numerous occasions during my travels to coastal regions, and I have never eaten one with such an unappetizing flavor. The ambiance was cold.

I got the clam chowder. it was almost $9 for a cup and Campbell's soup is better. I got a Connecticut lobster roll. the lobster was rubbery and without flavor. almost no butter on the lobster. the waitress did give me a soda to go. I expected a whole lot more for almost $50
We were in town for a cruise and decided to try this restaurant. What a waste of money! The lobster rolls were like a piece of rubber. Tough and bland. The crab cake was burnt, and the soup tasted like a Campbell’s can of soup. The only good thing was the fries. The beans and coleslaw were disgusting. We’re from Boston, and this place would be unacceptable in our area. We were recommended a different seafood restaurant that was further down, but this place inexplicably has good reviews and was closer to the port. Terrible choice; go elsewhere.
Their lobster roll meat is NOT fresh- its texture feels like it came out of a can-disgusting!!!! The taste - it has no taste. Coconut shrimp is just greasy panko breading. Clam chowder felt it had sand in it. Service was good but even the kids were disgusted by the food
