Dave & Buster's - Capitol Heights

We were greeted right away as we entered, the service was amazing. Our server was Michael and he was very attentive and recommended us items on the menu which we ordered and they were great. Service was fast, had no issues with our order. I came with my family, including 4 kids from out of town and felt like family here! Highly recommend!

I had great service had a server named chatese that was very caring attentive. and another server aijah was also attentive checking in my table as she walks by. The buss girl that was helping my table was a character she was funny and actually talking and communicating because the other do not really talk and she made sure that the table stayed clean throughout my stay. The food can always be better.

Wonderful atmosphere for adults and children but definitely eat before you go. I ordered the fish and chips and got 3 fillets the size of my index finger and a plate full of fries. There were 5 of us and we roughly spent around 150 bucks for nasty food. I would return for the games and arcade but I will never eat there again.

Dominique at Dave & Buster’s was amazing! We sat at the bar and ordered a few drinks, and the service was top-tier from start to finish. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience fun and easy. Drinks were great and the vibe was perfect. Definitely made our visit better—thank you, Dominique!

Outstanding Service from Kimani at Dave & Buster’s! I had the pleasure of being served by Kimani during my recent visit to Dave & Buster’s, and I cannot say enough good things about her! From the moment she greeted us with a bright, welcoming smile, she made the whole experience feel special. Her energy truly lit up the room, and she made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Kimani was also incredibly helpful with recommendations. She suggested we try a second round of wings, and let me tell you, the Sriracha Honey wings were out of this world! The fries were perfectly crispy, and everything came out hot and fresh. She also recommended we stay for Trivia Night, which we didn’t even know was happening on Wednesdays. It was such a fun addition to the evening! Beyond the great food and fun, Kimani’s personality was a standout. She was so sweet, attentive, and friendly it’s clear she genuinely cares about providing top-notch service. Her hospitality made our visit memorable, and she truly deserves recognition for going above and beyond. If you’re lucky enough to be served by Kimani, you’re in for an exceptional experience. Service was A1….Our server Victoria was attentive and patient. She went above expectations to correct an error I made . Good was 10/10 and coming from me, that’s IMPRESSIVE. Great place for a good time. Stopped in for a quick bite and a couple beers to enjoy the weekend. Parking around lunch was plentiful and just a few folks enjoying family time the timing couldn’t be better lol. Beers were good and cold but definitely stadium priced but you know what you signed up for. My wife grabbed some chicken quesadillas which were very well put together. Definitely worth ordering again. I ordered the mountain of nachos that looked really nice but were room temperature throughout and not filled and flavored in the interior unfortunately. Good but not worth ordering again even with a larger crowd in tow. Customer service was extremely great. Everyone there wanted you to feel like anything you needed would get sorted no problem. Kudos for that! I would reserve visiting unless you were entertaining more than two folks for sure.

We came here the past 2 evenings with friends. The happy hour prices are really good! All their games were well maintained and in good working order. The beer and service was good. We all had a lot of fun. I would definitely come back if we are ever in the area.

We decided to meet here because we thought it would be a fun experience. The experience could have been so much better if we weren't always looking for our server. We arrived and waited 20 minutes before we asked other servers, the host and bussboy when our server would greet us and take our orders. After 25 minutes of waiting she finally arrived and took drink orders then disappeared for quit awhile and had to be searched for again. She seemed irritated or bothered maybe she had other tables somewhere in the venue but we shouldn't have to search for you or send other waiters to tell you that we need you. We made the best of our time there and entertained ourselves between trying to find our server. The food was good the drinks were awesome and the other servers, waiters and bussboy were extremely helpful. I actually wanted to give them here tip as they were more helpful than her.

I have been to Dave and Buster before and during the pandemic. I will say after the pandemic my experience there is ok. Given that they are trying their best to make sure all customer are happy. I went there because my daughter after school program had an event there. It was great timing for us because there weren’t a lot of people there so most kids got to play games as many times as the card will allow. The food was good. Except the fries were cold. The waiter and manager were very attentive and pleasant.

The food was good but delivering the beverages was slow. We were nearly done with eating our meal when the drinks came out. We liked ordering from the phone using the QR code. The food came right out as ordered. We should have been able to do the same with the drinks.

Loved an after work birthday get together! Great service & great food! The wings were prepared wonderfully & salmon very flavorful! The venue is very loud, but I loved the place! Budget friendly!

I have fun here everytime. I try to go on Wednesdays since its half off the billiards. Great drinks. Great food. Clean restrooms. Need better pool tables but minor repairs. Plenty of parking. I found out they host karoke on Thursday nights. So that would be fun to join one day. Highly recommend

I visited for my nephew's 11th birthday. I'm pretty sure he had a ball with all the games. The air was a bit thick maybe due to all the games running along with the hearing system. So I wish ventilation was a bit better. The staff was nice and pleasant.

This isn't a bad experience overall, but don't expect a lot of value for your money. The food was decent but expensive for what you get. The service was slow despite there not being very many guests at the time. We went on a weeknight and it still took almost 30 minutes to get our food. The arcade section was very loud and there were some screaming kids, which made it hared to hear over dinner. The game selection is more oriented towards ticketed games- it's not for hardcore arcade fans. That being said, we did have fun playing skeeball and some of the other games. This is a great place for kids but not necessarily that great for grownups.

My mom and I went to the location in Capitol Heights, MD. I was a little disappointed because the service was very slow. We sat at the table for twenty minutes before learning who our server was. The alcohol drink wasn't good until I had it replaced. The entire visit we never seen a Manager at all, and that was very strange to me. In most restaurants the Manager goes around and make sure the customers are enjoying themselves. I was celebrating my birthday, but next time I'll pick another place to go.

As soon as you walk in you’re hit with a horrible sewage smell. I have no idea where the bathrooms are, but that’s what it smelled like. It’s horrible!! And it’s so close to the dining area who in the world would want to eat there? I went real early on a week day because the area is not that good. It was only 3 or 4 families there. I had a good time with my son and husband and a few games didn’t work and we were reimbursed by someone immediately. We went to play only after smelling what we smelled we will stick to the games.

Disappointing on the bar service side. Happy Hour has almost zero attendance yet it still took over ten minutes to get attention for a drink. Ordered a drink that has a HH option, was served the full price version without getting asked if I wanted the HH or clarifying which was wanted. A couple of the retro game controllers are broken.

First of all it took over 20 minutes just to get the cards. $61 Only one person was working. Then it took over 30 minutes just to get our food. We wanted the Blue Raspberry Sno Globe with alcohol but they said they didn't have it nor could we have alcohol in it. Then we asked for the Grape Candy Chill but they said they didn't have the worms. LOL Overall I was ready to go. I ended up getting a Frosé which was good. We both got Triple Bacon Burger which was so good but of course the fries were so cold for as long as we waited. Wont be back to this location.

This is absolutely my least favorite D&B location EVER. It’s been bad since they opened their doors. During a visit on Football Sunday, my brother and I walked up to the bar looking for seats. When we found two we were waiting on someone to clear the dishes from the previous guests. There was a server amongst the guests at the bar and bar tables. She NEVER walked away from them to clear the bar. She kept mingling and talking with them. At no point did a bartender come over and clear the bar even though we were standing RIGHT THERE. We walked to the other side of the bar and found two seats. This time, the bartender cleared it so we can sit. Afterwards, his service was TERRIBLE. He was so busy entertaining two females at the bar that he couldn’t service us. I got fed up and decided to pay our tab and go to the Arundel Mills location. I took a chance on them and it failed. I’ll never go there again!

The guy who was at the front desk on 2/7/26 (DRE) he has terrible customer service and he was very disrespectful to me A persons attitude tells a lot about them, and his attitude was terrible him and his partner who was standing beside him thinking that no one would pick up on the to expressions and the slick gestures comments that was said out of their mouth Even as he walked pass me he said something smart out his mouth idk this guy at all but yet It is unfortunate when you go into a place to have fun and get greeted with such discuss I really hope that this review helped people to see that customer service also means to have a good attitude on a good note, the waiter who served me my food. He did pretty good and he even asked if I needed anything else. I appreciate him for that although I didn’t get his name.thank u ! God bless !!

Have been here a few times but today took the cake. I went in and spent 54 on 90 minutes of gaming. So many of the games didn't even work, i didn't realize how small it was comparing to arundel mills. It's like not worth it for me to come here again for games. The kicker though was coming to see the Crawford vs canelo fight. Paid 10 to get in okay cool, but they decided to cut the tvs off right after the fight ended but before the winner was announced. That was the biggest slap in the face I have ever experienced at a fight event. I spent 160 in this place and that is how they treat me and us all... okay duly noted, lastly the amount of non supervised kids that aimlessly wandered around was unbelievable all the way up until close. They should make it 21 and over at a certain time. But I won't be back so they can do what they please tbh

Extremely poor customer service and interaction with both employees of Dave and Buster corporation from Tania and Reschelle today. Came into this location on a shiny & sunny Sunday right around the afternoon. Literally not a single a child or adult in the entire location at this time. This location had like 3-4 employees just sitting around the bar and tables just eating and stuffing their face with food. I kindly asked the front desk if they could help me resolve this issue with my Dave and Busters card that has almost 10,000 tickets stored on it. If I can redeem them. They said that my card was deactivated from another location which makes absolutely no sense because I’m the only one with card. So basically in conclusion I lost all my tickets and money I’ve spent plus my remaining balance of 500+ credits that was on my card. These employees denied myself and my beautiful nieces and nephews to play at this location. They did not attempt any sort of customer service and they told me I had to physically go to another Dave and Busters location to resolve the issue with them. Makes absolutely no sense and very sad to see children getting mistreated from ether racist or immature employees. Literally not a single human being at this location on a perfect beautiful weekend.

The service is HORRIBLE! If it wasn't for my daughter, I would walked out. I will never come back to this location. Glad I can edit. The food was over cooked too. Every dish at my table. It must had been hard to over cook chicken fingers. 6/2022-Update! It's exceptionally poor service. The food is good & establishment is clean. Had the spicy Taco Burger. Not much has changed. Should have read my own review. (I don't give bad reviews lightly) **To be fair, the waitress serving the table next to me saved my meal. She brought our food, refilled our drinks & notified the manager for me. (Short staffed, but completely forgotten about by assigned server is unacceptable)**

I attended a pink event tonight in honor of breast cancer, im a 2 time survivor. The waitress Coco was a complete divine. She was professional from the beginning until l exited. There was some form of miscommunication that took place. Myself and my brother entered the establishment around 6:00 pm to attend the breast cancer karaoke. We and maybe 4 other customers were early. I gave Coco my order and asked about the happy hour drinks , she did say yes, the drinks were $ 5 abd also told me about another drink that was similar to the drink l requested. Same size glass, but different ingredients. I ordered the first. One. She periodically checked to make sure my food and drink was satisfied. I kindly replied yes! So l asked my brother to get her to order another drink, 6:45 pm. I asked her was it still happy hour; she said yes. Around 8pm l requested for my tab to be tallied out. My brother said, G , l think they gave you the wrong bill, it totaled $82..86 . I asked Coco why was my drinks $22 and some change and to please get the manager, she was very apologetic and stated that the drinks l had were not on the happy hour. This very rude African American male manger came over to the table directly in face , leaned over and said " you consumed and you will pay, l said absolutely not, l would never order a $22 drink. He pursued yelling at me and told me that that was his establishment and to leave and never show my face again. I told him no, and l know for a fact that he wasn't the owner, but a hired manager on duty. He said again for me to get up and leave. I told him no. 30 minutes later he appears with security and instantly friends spoke up to explain the rudeness and disrespect from the manager. He told them to put me out, they didn't and apologized to me for the misunderstanding..He walked away. My brother and myself pursued to leave and the manager and security were at the front door, l requested his name and was unsuccessful. Paying the bill was never an issue it was the total disrespect from an employee. I've been in business management well over 40 years and have never been so rudely disrespected. I frequent Dave &Busters with my disabled son, many friends and family members. I'm glad they were not in attendance. My brother paid the bill, the security told me to please make sure l reach out to the District Manager in the a.m. For as much business as l invested into this establishment for leisure time this is absolutely ridiculous. I feel that the manager should be reprimanded accordingly. Even, the waitress Coco explained to him that she didn't tell me that the prices, he said directly to me, that it wasn't Coco position to tell or explain anything to me. I said she was the one recommend the drink and l was under the assumption that it was a part of the happy hour. She apologized profusely,. Very disappointed customer on such a beautiful occasion for celebrating. I gave 1 🌟 based on the fact that this particular manager changed the entire experience hostile. I'm very happy that my sibling did not react to the disrespect! Overall Karaoke, food, over priced drinks and friends were fun, that didn't last.

Drinks were bomb shout out to bartender , however server was terrible never came to table to check if we were good the place wasn’t even busy very poor service . The quesadillas were also disgusting it had a very weird taste to them. Arundel mills location is way better

If your hungry don't make eat before you come especially on a weekend. There were at least 10 empty tables when I went and after 35 minutes of waiting and then asking the bartenders if there were servers on my side .. after a long puzzling look of I think so I finally took my family and left. Imagine how long the food would have taken had I ordered. Insane! Don't go to this location if you want food or drinks

Absolutely not! I went in on a weekday with my kids. Needed front desk to active my card for this location. Waited about 7mins no one came. Walked around found someone to call a manager to assist with the activation. Some tall bald man came out, very unprofessional before I can get a word out. As if he was ready to go off on me before he even knew what I wanted. Very aggressive and I was very offended with both my kids beside me. It’s still so hard to believe he was a manager. They’re just hiring anyone who comes in that place apparently. Knowing that leadership starts from the top. Understand why we didn’t scan a thing left and went to Silver Spring. Which was a pleasant experience, very grateful we have other options. Capitol heights gives, come in don’t say nothing, don’t ask for nothing, play the games, spend some money and leave vibes. I just can’t endure it any more. I think that will be my last trip, no matter how convenient.
