You just can't beat the price. You already know what it is when you walk in here. Food is delicious and you leave full. My lady and I can go all out for about 40 bucks
Lunch today here. Finally got to sneak out, well not really, but I needed some fresh air. Flauta special was on the menu today and it was delicious. Everything was fresh and the portions for it being a lunch special was decent. Service is always A+. From calling in the order to picking up. Convenient, separate pick up spot on the side. Has a drink case and I believe I saw salsa in there too.
Simply the best Mexican food you can get in the Napa area, and at a fantastic price too. They also offer takeout if you'd like. If you haven't tried their combination burrito yet, you are definitely missing out. The food is very fresh, and the service is always cheerful and quick.
This place is great. Killer tacos and Burritos didn't try anything else but can't imagine it wasn't all good, because their chicken burrito and carnitas were awesome. Service was really friendly and attentive. Sat outside with our pup. A couple of cold 🍻 s on tap. And all for less than 50 bucks in Napa no less.
We've been regulars here for 20 years. Love the food and the people. Prices are very competitive. Recently their salsa went from medium to very hot. There's no milder alternative. I hope they can fix this.
Food is fantastic. Seated and helped immediately, despite it being lunch time. Got chips and drink right away and food within 10 minutes. Came in on jury duty lunch. Went to fast, forced to walk around downtown Napa for awhile now.
Took the family for a relaxed meal and was blown away by the quality of the food. Nachos were amazing. Outstanding value, comfortable environment and friendly staff. They have got it figured out. We will be back.
Thank you so much for providing lunch to the caregivers at Queen of the Valley Medical Center during these trying times. Your food is amazing and the chips, salsa and guacamole were so fresh!! You've definitely gained a loyal customer :)
Great place with authentic Mexican food. The tastes were very good and that is saying a lot since most my experience in Mexican food is based out of San Diego where it is second to none! Don't miss eating here or take out!
Taqueria Rosita is a Mexican food staple for our family. It is consistent and has its own unique flavor profile - more in the mild side, but spicy peppers are Alessia available. We usually do takeout. Online ordering was easy. The dining room is small, but comfortable. They are closed Sundays.
Amazing food at amazing price. One of my favorite Mexican places to go to in Napa if not my favorite. The Ambiance is nothing much short of a Taqueria butt the food is amazing and you can't beat the prices. I usually order takeout so I don't usually eat there when everytime I go it's packed so they must be doing something right there a lot of people love. I don't give 5 stars out to anybody but they definitely deserve it
Best tacos I've had since moving to the area!
I travel all the way from Montana to enjoy their food!!!!!!! So wish we had them here. All of my friends in Napa love them too!!!! Love to say hello to staff when I visit. Best family memories eating there and delicious authentic food!!!!
Delicious simple menu lots, had street tacos and a frozen Paloma. Chips, salad and guacamole we tasty.
Super deluxe burrito is what we get every time, also the sombrero (taco salad) is fantastic too!
This is a family favorite. We have been going for years and absolutely love it. Good quality food at a really good price.
Been going here forever, love everything about this restaurant. Dine in or take out it always tastes the same, great! 👍
I didn’t think I would like this place. The decor and menu give off a very Americanized vibe. Surprisingly, I liked it a lot mainly because it’s a solid value in this economy. I had the sombrero which is basically a taco bowl made from a crispy flour tortilla. My wife had a burrito and my mother in law had the flautas. Excellent and friendly service. We all enjoyed our meals. Will definitely return for unassuming yet price friendly and simple Mexican.
"The chimichanga was absolutely delicious. The perfect blend of savory chicken, creamy guacamole, and rich cheese created a truly incredible flavor. Come to Taqueria Rosita today and treat yourself to a dish you won't forget."😋👍♥️
If you’re in downtown Napa and searching for honest, homemade Mexican food at very reasonable prices, Taqueria Rosita is a solid choice. Located on Main Street, this local spot has been serving the community for over 40 years and is well-loved by both locals and out-of-towners looking for good comfort food. What I Loved Welcoming Service: The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to refresh your chips and salsa or check in on your table. Both dine-in and takeout experiences are efficient, and you always feel taken care of. Tasty, Generous Portions: Their super nachos, burritos, and combo plates are filling and flavorful, with highlights like crispy tacos and excellent carne asada. The horchata, although not always on the menu, is a must-try—creamy and spiced just right. Casual, Cozy Atmosphere: You can choose between a sit-down section or order at the counter for a quick meal. The setting isn’t fancy, but it’s relaxed and comfortable—a nice break from the pricier Napa scene
Good find in the busy main St! There are many Mexican options, this is a very good one. Menu are very reasonably priced with good serving size. You get a complementary chips and salsa when you take a table. We didn't have to wait long before eating but we noticed a line after a while, so best if you can time it well.
Small location, big flavors, collage of menu items. Take a pass on the fast food and come sit down and enjoy the great food and fantastic staff. The chips and salsa are delicious to get you started, beers and soft drinks to wet your whistle. Stop in and enjoy, and I will continue to visit when in town. Great job, Staff🫶
Taqueria Maria is fantastic! The food is absolutely delicious and the prices are very affordable. The vibes are great, and the staff is incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Lunch was delicious. I particularly enjoyed has their salsa. Just the right amount of spice along with a fairly thick texture made it perfect with tortilla chips. The chile relleno was okay, it's sauce was sweet, very reminiscent of spaghetti sauce. I suspect that this was a fluke. The sopitas, as you can see by the photo, were beautiful. Their flavor was just as good as the photos look. The serving size is filling and the price range is very nice.
The super sombrero was fantastic, and the cheese enchiladas were some of the best I had. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for Mexican.
Freshly prepared lettuce and tomatoes - flautas - taquitos with sourcream avocado sauce and shredded cheese - tried chicken and beef - both were good - great attentive service

The four of us popped in for dinner before the Napa Light Festival tonight, hitting happy hourby accident -- the margarita tasty and strong ;) the guys had beers. Two ordered the chile relleno dinner, one ordered the happy hour nachos, the fourth ordered the 3 happy hour carne asada tacos. Generous servings, great salsa w chips! We'll be back for sure! Ready for the Light Festival!
A couple of days ago we ate at Taqueria Rosita in Napa town, a wonderfully unpretentious Mexican spot that quietly gets everything right. No fuss, no flashy décor — just simple, relaxed surroundings and genuinely lovely service that makes you feel instantly welcome. The food was the real star though. Proper, authentic Mexican cooking where every bite tastes like it’s meant to. I happily worked my way through a margarita, a chilled beer (purely for research purposes), and then a chicken enchilada. I later learned this is essentially a deconstructed burrito — all the good bits, none of the mess, and absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of place you walk into casually and leave wondering how soon you can come back. Simple, honest food done very well.
We both had the taco salads. They were fabulous! It's been a long time since I have had one with that many toppings. The ground beef was perfectly seasoned. Everything was fresh. Wish we lived closer, so we could stop in again soon!
Have eaten here since it was a tiny hole in the wall place in the mid-1980s. Recently returned and was delighted to find things had not changed other than expanding into a larger space right next to the original location. Wonderful service. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was as delicious as ever. Cannot say enough good things about this gem.

The restaurant is small and it's not "authentic" Mexican food, but it's good! Prices are fair and if you just want some good Mexican American food I would definetly recommend. The super burritos are good and so is the Chile Relano. I've never seen so much cheese in a Chile Relano lol!
Massive portion and great value. Walking distance in a great location if you feel like walking after eating a lot of Mexican food!
The food here is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is tidy and inviting. You won't leave here hungry as the portions are large, and the menu is well-priced. I can't speak on many of the dishes cuz the only thing I ever get here are their taco salads...if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
They have a very diverse menu. My food was served fresh and hot. * Update: I returned and Taqueria Rosita did NOT disappoint. This time I dined in and the service was quick and Laura our server was on point. The food was good and the Mango Margarita was better. When visiting Napa I would definitely return and recommend.
This is a good place for a quick bite. Seat yourself kind of place. Food come out quickly. Beer and wine only. I ordered a small carnitas nachos ($7.25), it was an average sized plate. I don't know how big the other one is, I would surmise it could feed 2. The cheese that they use is a hard cheese that has been melted. Not nacho cheese. Overall it had a great taste. Guacamole was heavy on the avocados (in a good way). The salsa with the chips is spicy. Clean bathrooms. Servers are very attentive.
Exactly what you need when you are hungry and want something good, yet not too expensive in Napa. Burritos for around 13 bucks, very large and taste really good.

Good food. Large portions. Very inexpensive, especially for location. Good place for families wanting to give kids real eating out experience. Food could be more flavorful; more Mexican in seasoning, based on my experience of Mexican food in other places, including Mexico.
Good food! I'll for sure eat here again next time I'm around. Left side door if for take out and right side for eat in .
I got some flan from here and I can say I was unimpressed by the size and taste of it. I know eggs are expensive but $8 for a super small piece of flan is ridiculous. Staff were friendly and the restaurant itself seemed nice.

We’ve been going to taqueria Rosita for 20 years. My elderly father went in to grab a pick up order, he asked for jalapeños and the woman working the cashier went to the jalapeño bowl, stuck her hand in(no glove) scooped up the jalapeños and handed them to my dad. He paid and came out to me in the car. I then went back in and asked for a manager to which I was told there isn’t one. I asked for someone in charge and told her how unsanitary and disgusting that was and she said okay and? As if they’re clear violation of food regulations and me asking for them to throw out the now contaminated container was a bother and not her problem. This was after they had gotten this order wrong twice, and we corrected an undercharge after they threw out the order receipt. Completely unprofessional, disgusting, and rude.
I have tried this place multiple times over the past 25 years. The staff and ownership are extremely efficient and friendly. But the food is some of the poorest Mexican you will find in Napa. Bland flavors that are nowhere near authentic with a limited gringo menu. Refried beans are the only option. No seafood. You can do much better with Hacienda or Taqueria Maria.
Simple decor, modest size Mexican restaurant with American focused menu choices. I stopped in around noon time, service was good, the food tasted fresh although a bit bland. There are more deserving Mexican eateries nearby.

While the servers are nice, the food is flavorless. They also need a filter on their water, as their water tastes like chemicals. We were hoping to find a replacement for Don Perico...this is NOT it.
To be honest, this was disappointing. We ordered the beef super nachos and a side of rice and beans. The tortilla chips were either over fried or refried, super dark and kind of oily. The actual beef and cheese were very bland and the guacamole was store bought.

I would always take to go, however this week I decided to come in with my family after a hike. We come in no one acknowledged us , even though o made eye contact with the waitress.we just sat down after 5 mins of sitting down while two other customers who came in after us were served chips and salsa😒. So I told my husband let’s go we walked down the street to don perico, best decision we made ! Great service and great food. Don’t waste your time on this place.
Husband picked up to go order and brought it home. Opened the order to find a 3 inch hair embedded in the cheese. Still makes me nauseous thinking about it. Usually the quality is good, but this was over the top GROSS
What part of no peppers did you not understand? Now I'm picking Jalapeños of my burrito. Burrito should have more than chicken and jalapeños. Where's the rice? Where's the beans? This sucks....
