For apps ordered the endive salad and tuna. Beautiful presentation and so delicious! Michelin rated. For dinner had the branzino which was amazing. The food was outstanding. The servers need some training. A warmer welcome and better walk thru their favorites on the menu and some conversation. It was very transactional for this resort setting. But that wouldn’t keep me from coming back again and recommending.

The chef is amazing! His creations are delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is beautiful- overlooking the lake at gorgeous Quail Lodge. Service always exceeds our expectations.

We love Covey! We bring our fur babies and sit outside and enjoy the fountain and pond on a nice day. The food is always delicious (although I don't like the breakfast sausages they use, they are more like Irish bangers than breakfast sausage) so we just go for the bacon or ham instead. The staff is always very nice and attentive. I like that they give you your own pot of coffee too!

Excellent all the way around! Great service. Great food. Extraordinarily great bread! Came back second night in a row for bread and butter! Nice gentleman servers!

Christmas dinner to remember, everything was delicious, perfectly cooked, I will definitely be back to try more, looking forward to it!! Merry Christmas

Ha sido un descubrimiento increíble durante nuestra estancia en Quail Lodge. ​La comida es simplemente excepcional; nos ha sorprendido gratamente el altísimo nivel de su cocina. Se nota que cada plato está cocinado con mimo y dedicación, ya que ninguno nos ha decepcionado. Pero lo que realmente marca la diferencia es el equipo. Queremos mencionar especialmente a Omar y Plu, que nos atendieron las dos noches con una amabilidad y profesionalidad de diez, siempre pendientes de que no nos faltara nada. ​Es una pena irnos mañana, ¡pero animamos a todo el mundo a probarlo! When I made a reservation at Covey Grill, I did so out of convenience as we were arriving to The Quail lodge late and I thought dinner at the hotel would be best after a long travel day. My family and I arrived to the restaurant at our reserved time and were seated immediately. The hostess even provided us the option to sit inside or outside on the deck. We opted for an indoor window seat. We began with the ahi grade tuna and satsuma starter. It was delcious. The tuna was so fresh. My husband and I each ordered the halibut market fish for the evening. The fish was prepared nicely and served with mashed butternut squash and asparagus. Our boys enjoyed their Shirley Temples, hot dogs and French fries. I must say the French fries were legit. We were impressed by the service provided and the quality of the dishes served. While we were disappointed to find out the restaurant would not be open for the regular menu the remainder of our stay, we were able to try their three course menu night via room service the final night of our stay. Be sure to check the days and times of operation and book a reservation as you will not be disappointed. Covey Grill is not your typical hotel restaurant.

We ate breakfast here twice as we bought the breakfast credit. The first morning, we had the Quail omellette and butter milk pancakes. Both were really very good and filling. The next morning, we had 2 eggs, and the avocado toast. Both were good. Both days, we had a window table over looking the lake. Our server both days, Salomon was excellent!

Review based on ordering take out whole staying at the quail. Decently priced for a hotel restaurant and the food was very good, although the side salads are really laughable, it's a few measly pieces of lettuce and some tomatoes. But the omelettes, breakfast sandwiches and french toast are very good. It's nice to have a tasty place to order from and to enjoy food in your room

The service here was excellent and it was fun to sit cozily under the heater and watch all the different bird species splashing around on the pond. The egg sandwich was nothing too too special but quite good nonetheless.

Netter Blick auf den kleinen, angelegten Teich. Bei guten Wetter kann man hier draußen sitzen. Gutes Ambiente, gutes Essen. Pancakes waren ok. Dafür waren Valley Skillet umso besser. Konfus war, dass die Netto-Preise auf der Rechnung von der Karte leicht abwichen. Ansonsten gut und empfehlenswert.

This cafe is in the golf course. Service was slow the day I visited because they were short staffed. The workers there are trying their best but between the 4 people that were waiting tables it was hard to get service.

What a wonderful restaurant that perfectly complements the lodge as well as the golf course. The interior gives this Restoration Hardware vibe with luxe furniture with class. It really feels cozy yet modern. The issue is with the food. We went in for breakfast. The food comes out visually fancy but the brioche French toast literally had no soul. No crunch. No airy softness. It looked grat. But literally just sugar-bread. Massive disappointment compared to the utensils that were used to cut them. The sunnyside up eggs too were overcooked on the bottom. No different than IHOP. I'm not sure how other meals are but the breakfast I had here was practically IHOP caliber served in a beautiful atmosphere. And for that, you pay more than double the price. Covery Grill has so much going for itself. Just that the food can't keep up with the vision.

It's ok. Soup was so sour one of us couldn't eat it, and crazy small portions. Food otherwise was fine, but not great. Certainly not on par with the price points relative to what can be had elsewhere. This place is primarily for the convenience of guests at the lodge, but not particularly enjoyable.

way overpriced for what you get. The portions are too small and the food is nothing special. If you are staying at the quail lodge, you’re much better off walking over to Baja Cantina.

Good food. Okay service. At an event on a Friday night, we were kicked out at 9:45 because they closed at 10:00. There were 50 people attending. They were more concerned about closing and getting home than their patrons. Sad. We came 1800 miles for this event. I’ve never experienced this poor of service from a hotel if this status.

Beautiful location. We were seated outside by the heaters and overlooking the lake, which was lovely. Then we got to order. The server may have been new or just indifferent. I ordered the Baby gem salad and was told it came with a vinaigrette dressing, instead it came with a creamy Caesar-like dressing that was heavily applied throughout the lettuce. We also ordered the beef skewers appetizer for $20, and some pieces were OK, but most were rare (we were not asked how we wanted those cooked). But the worst part of the dinner was the Dungeness crab risotto, which had a small piece of crab, and a whole lot of risotto with such a heavy amount of butter i could only eat a small amount and left the rest. Sadly, the only decent item in our order was the $25 burger and the fries. It is hard to give a better review to this establishment because the service didn’t make up for the food. The prices are those of a mid to higher end restaurant without the expected quality, which made for a disappointing experience.

Very disappointed. The restaurant is dated, damp, cold and "smells". In 58° weather management kept the windows open to keep the smell down. I've worked in the bar and restaurant industry and was terribly disappointed in this restaurant . Dinner was nice nothing exciting. The menu was photocopied, hard to read in somewhat pricey at $40 a plate.

Booked a reservation months ago for dinner. Restaurant called me 90 minutes before our reservation time to inform me the restaurant was as closed on Mondays. I guess it’s really easy to make the reservation but hard to HOLD the reservation. What hacks.
