We really enjoyed the patio dining. We took advantage of the Happy Hour options. There was a wide variety of seafood options but the menu wasn't geared to non fish eaters. We did enjoy the grilled fish tacos and guacamole and chips. My husband loved the clam chowder. Their Happy Hour margarita was excellent. We will stop again in the summer.

Teddy’s came highly recommended. We thought we would give it a try. We sat outside. It was a little cold night, but they had the warmers on. The server was very attentive. Spicy Chicken Sandwich - 5 stars - super good. Great sweet to spicy ratio. I didn’t get it, but it had me second-guessing my choice. Cedar plank salmon - 5 stars - great flavor. The portion felt a bit small for the price. It was all very flavorful. Crabcake appetizer - 5 stars - we get crabcakes most everywhere we go that offers them. These were some of the best. Again, a little small for the price, but the flavor was high. Clam chowder - 5 stars - those who hadn’t loved it. Bread and butter appetizer - 3 stars - we have a simple rule as the family. If they offer bread and butter as an appetizer, we have to get it. Normally it is spectacular. These were very meh. Overall, it was great. If we find our way back to the area. We would definitely go back

It's one of the best places I've ever eaten at. Great food great prices great service great atmosphere great location great drinks. I really can't praise this place enough. If you're in the area you got to go try it! The calamari appetizer is amazing.

This place was amazing! All staff were friendly and professional and gave a senese they like working there. The atmosphere was lovely. There was a bar as you came in from the front that was clean, and the back shelves had a good selection. All of the orders were delicious. The poke nachos were one of the best i have come across looking like actual nachos instead of individual wonton chip topped with minced poke. Lobster macaroni cheese was creamy had a substantial amount of Lobster. Clam chowder was creamy and more of a stew with other vegetables outside of potatoes and clams. Coconut shrimp were big and match well with the dipp it came with. Fish tacos was well prepared and sauces that paired well. I highly recommend this place.

We sat on the outdoor patio and it was lovely. I'm always on the hunt for the best calamari and this calamari did not disappoint. I enjoyed the sauce that came with it as well. I also had the crab cakes. They were okay, nothing special. The homemade potato chips are delicious! My son had the oysters and the ywere great! He also enjoyed the wild salmon tacos. My daughter in law enjoyed the Ahi Poke Nachos and my granddaughter loved the Linguini with Clams. We will return to Teddy's.

Stopped by on our drive from Santa Barbara to Santa Monica. Short-staffed on a Labor Day Holiday, but they still accommodated just fine. I had the Ceviche and Fish Tacos. My Wife had the Wedge Salad for lunch. Drinks & food were excellent. Good stuff!

Everything we had was amazing! Shrimp and grits, fish tacos, side salad and homemade chips with caramelized onions and bacon dip and blue cheese dip. Drinks were on point!! Can't wait to go back!

Wonderful dinner on the patio at Teddy’s By The Sea in beautiful Carpinteria! This place KNOWS fresh seafood!! I had the special, Puttanesca Sea bass - which was delicious!! My partner had the Dijon Mustard Salmon grilled on top of a maple cedar plank - equally delicious! Not only was the food wonderful, so was the friendly atmosphere and service! Definitely recommend and will be back!

The food was wonderful, and the service was great. We had the Clam Chowder, Fish Tacos, Fish and Chips, and Deep Fried Apple Fritters. I also ordered their Margarita flight, and a regular sized Prickly Pear Margarita. I love their Prickly Pear Margarita. It is the best that I have ever tasted. I can tell that I will be thinking about this margarita until I get to have another one!! One day I will be back!!😊

The atmosphere is lovely here. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered their Boston clam chowder, fish tacos and tavern burger. The beer batter fish was a bit on the smaller side, it was very little fish and more batter than I would’ve liked. Overall the other dishes were great. Boston clam chowder was great, we didn’t even get a chance to take a photo.

Very nice place with good selection of sea dishes, Italian style. Super nice staff, lovely terrace with great heat lamps for when the fog rolls in. Festive cocktails, good local wines. For dinner I had linguine with clams, very good flavor, only preference would be that the linguine could have been much more al dente. If it were me (Italian girl) I would have preferred much less sauce. I guess the people here like to soak their garlic bread, whereas in Italia we'd prefer no bread and just enough juice to cover the linguine. Clams tasty and just the right size. My mate had nice mixed seafood plate, again with lots of sauce and garlic bread. Overall we're happy and satisfied!

Such a cute place. We ordered the fish tacos, salad, the rolls, shrimp pasta. Everything was excellent. We ordered the lemon cake for dessert but had to take it back to hotel as we were stuffed! We are the cake later and it was delicious!

We all definitely thought the figs and rolls were hands down winners. Crab cakes, meh. Huge fish tacos, definitely worth the happy hour price of $6 each. Mai Tai was pretty good and definitely worth the $11 happy hour price. The only bad thing I ate was the chicken sandwich, I had heard it wasn't great..so I tried it myself. It didn't really taste like anything. It lacked seasoning, and the slaw didn't really do anything for it. I had to add salt and dunk it in the ranch to eat it. Overall, I would definitely go back for happy hour to try more items and get those rolls again for sure
