We got Beef Set A and corn cheese. We got there around 5:30 for dinner and the service was really fast. Seated immediately and they started preparing the sides and took our order quickly. They also cooked everything really quickly.

The food was sooo good and the meat was tender and juicy the banchan made it even better. Definitely the best k-bbq spot in the dallas area. The service was amazing and the food came out fast.

This is my 4th time coming here and not once was I disappointed with the food or the service. The food here is so amazing the quality is so great and I believe that the price is so good for what they are offering as well. ​Had a fantastic dinner here! The service at Don Sarang is some of the best in the area. Our server Andy was so helpful with the grilling and made sure our water and side dishes were always refilled. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, making it a great spot for a family dinner or a catch-up with friends. The spicy tofu stew and the bulgogi were the highlights of our meal. Definitely my new go-to BBQ spot in Carrollton.

Andy took great care of us, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu without being pushy. He made solid recommendations and checked in at the right times. This place has great food. The server cooked it to our liking which is medium rare. The entire staff was attentive. Shoutout to our server Andy from Toy Story! John the manager made sure we enjoyed the food. I’m so used to LA NATIVE THAT ITS A BREATH OF fresh air to get the Korean southern service.

We had a great time at Don Sarang and would definitely come back. The beef & pork set A was enough for 4 people, and it came with ramen and fried rice at the end. The food has great flavor but the portions of the meat could be better. The server did a majority (if not all) of the cooking and checked on us in a timely manner. Definitely give it a try if you’re looking for a new or different kbbq experience.

Shout out to our server, Maria. Maria had great energy, is super knowledgeable, accommodating, and a great cook. She was able to change my mind on bean sprouts (I will only have them grilled though). Service: (11/10) We ordered the Pork + Beef Set A (around $100, pretax as of this time). It came with Prime Brisket, Prime Rib Meat, and Pork Belly as a finale. The meat quality was amazing (I'm no expert, but meat good) and I can’t get the forget how good and refreshing the salad was. It might be a little pungent for some, but for me it was great. (10/10). The house sauce for dipping was the right amount of sweetness as well. Next time I think I’ll give the other sauces/ salt with sesame oil a chance. I was also informed serving the beef before the pork was the way to go since the fattiness from the pork could definitely effect how the beef tastes if reversed. The complimentary fried rice grilled at the end with crispy bits alongside the grilled kimchi & onions mixed with the meat that was left over and even the grilled bean sprouts worked really well together. (9.25/10). I felt like if I had a little bit of pepper and salt, the flavor would be enhanced. The hangover ramen was good, like a lighter, but slightly spicy Shin Ramen and soybean paste stew really warmed up the soul. (8/10) These ratings are based on my personal experience and tastes, I highly recommend you check out this place and try the food for yourself. Portions are good. Food is great. Service is excellent. We went during a Tuesday afternoon and it was pretty nice quiet time. Not super crowded, I heard it does get super busy during the weekends. I’m definitely going to try the corn and the japchae next time.

In a highly competitive area like DFW—where Korean barbecue restaurants offer comparable food and ambiance—service is what determines whether a visit succeeds or fails. Maria’s warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care were the deciding factor that made this visit a good one. She consistently checked on our meats, ensured our orders were progressing, and made sure we felt taken care of from beginning to end. Her attention filled in every moment where thoughtful service mattered. When we learned that the restaurant closes at 10:00 p.m. (which was not displayed online or in the restaurant), Maria reassured us with kindness and calm, encouraging us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. That level of hospitality is not easy to come by. Our total came to about $170 for two people including tip, and Maria’s presence is what made the experience feel worthwhile at that price point. Quite honestly, her care and professionalism carried the entire visit. Without her, the experience would have felt very different. Maria deserves full credit for the positive outcome of this visit. This was my first visit, definitely not my last. The cast iron grill made the cooking easy and succulent. The portion options are amazing and so filling. The japchae noodles, pork belly, and Kimchae were seasoned and delicious. They atmosphere was fun, the music was perfect and our food preparer John was so helpful, polite and provided the perfect food options! 10/10 recommend! Until next time Happy eating!

The meats were fresh, flavorful, and high quality. What really stood out was the service—our waiter actually cooked everything for us and made the whole experience even better (wish I remembered his name, he crushed it). There are plenty of food options, so whether you know exactly what you want or like to try a bit of everything, you’re covered. Only minor hiccup: when we walked in, the restaurant was basically empty and there was some confusion about where to seat us. We got seated, then had to move shortly after to make room for a larger party coming in. Not a big deal, just a little awkward. Overall, great experience and I’ll definitely be back. 👍🔥

I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. It was not too loud or quiet. The service was a little slow for us, but we were not rushed to finish the meal. So that was a plus. The combo came with fried rice and ramen. Even though we were so full, having a ramen after the drink was so satisfying. I don’t recommend to bring a coat to the restaurant because your coat will smell like BBQ.

Tae was welcoming right as we sat down. His smile was infectious! Super friendly. He double checked our order before sending it through. The atmosphere was pretty, clean, and inviting. There were a lot of older Korean customers which leds up to think the food is top Korean quality. We later found out that it lived up to the standards! Would recommend! Come try they just opened.

New KBBQ that follows the style of cast iron pot lid kbbq (Sot-ddukkung (솥뚜껑) barbecue) The food quality here is amazing and easily puts it in the top of the current vast ocean of kbbq offerings in carrolton. I personally loooove this style of kbbq because one of its defining features is grilling kimchi and bean sprouts directly on the grill, which compliments EVERYTHING but ESPECIALLY Pork cuts The pork Jowl here is very high quality, and the service was incredible (shout out to Andy!) One thing I wish they offered was lettuce wraps. They can charge of lettuce wraps but this would go so well with it. 10/10 will be coming back

This is definitely one of the most authentic Korean BBQ spots we've found so far in Dallas. As soon as we walked in, we knew we were in good hands. The meat quality is super good and you get ton of food with one of their combos. Staff was super cool and my wife and I were sad we had just found it before moving back to California! There's a lot of great korean food in Dallas, but this spot is easily in my top 3!

Quality of the meat is top tier and the service can’t be beat. My first time getting KBBQ with this large of a grill and being able to get the kimchi and soybean banchan cooking with the meat is the best. We are definitely replacing our regular KBBQ place and coming back soon!

Once inside, the atmosphere is really nice clean, modern, and inviting. The staff are friendly and attentive, though they do occasionally forget some of the items you request, so you may need to remind them once or twice. The tables are on the smaller side, which can make things a bit cramped, especially if you order drinks since the extra bucket usually ends up on the floor. The food is decent, but for the price point, it feels a bit steep considering the steaks aren’t seasoned or aged. Overall, it’s a nice spot for Korean BBQ if you don’t mind the minor inconveniences and a slightly higher tab.

Go for the pork! Super new Korean bbq place in Carrollton. We ordered Pork Set A + Rib finger meat for 3 people. Different than the others because of their cooking on cast iron grill, which gives the meat a crispier and flavorful taste. The oils really grab on to anything on the grill so it does taste a tad heavier than other Korean bbq. The kimchi was a bit sweeter than most, almost pickled. I like the addition of rice paper wrappers but thicker than what I’m used to. Tip: Wear long sleeves - the oils will splash/pop here and there. The table part aren’t big compared to the cast iron. Service: they’re still working on that. I think our meat would have completely burned if we didn’t to cook/flip it. Special: Finger meats $25 Cost: 150 (with drinks) Overall: Great for pork lovers, Extras that come with the combos: fried rice, ramen
