The spicy chicken ramen was flavorful and authentic with a satisfying level of spice. The appetizer was fantastic, and the service was quick and efficient. Overall, a great dining experience.
Well designed wooden and calligraphy theming that makes you feel like you stopped by for a meal in Tokyo. Spicy Tokyo tonkotsu was not too spicy and delicious. Servers very attentive
My daughter and I have visited this place on three occasions now... everything has been great but our favorites are the Tan Tan Men and Black Garlic. We havent ventured into any of the other dishes save for Shrimp Shomai, which were decent. Its a ramen house so I would stick to that. Staff is always friendly and accommodating and we've only had to wait once for about 5 - 10 mins. Only downside is its located in what I would call Korean town in North Dallas and parking is a nightmare from 5 pm to close...the better the weather the worse it gets...there are so many restaurants and shops here its nuts.
The ramen was delicious full of flavor and super comforting! We were seated really quickly, which was a nice surprise, and the service was on point the whole time. Everyone was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We came back a day later! That’s how much we liked it haha.🍜✨
I went here on a whim this past Wednesday, and I'm so glad I did. It was definitely difficult to pick a place at which to eat in this shopping center for the amount of good choices, but I owe it to my friend with me (without even mentioning their name, if you're reading this, thanks a ton 😊). The teriyaki chicken and edamame were delicious; the only "con" I found was just the difficulty in picking something because of how many appealing dishes Hanabi has. I'd gladly return to try more dishes on the back of excellent, caring service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area, especially if you're struggling to pick a spot as I was.
I came in with my husband and got attended real quick. We ordered our food and my miso ramen was so hot and delicious, the only downside is that it had more cabbage than ramen. My husband ordered chicken teriyaki and he said it was delicious. Overall I would highly recommend and come back!
Came here after finals week. Excellent service and food. Broth isn’t too salty, the noodles aren’t too heavy. Felt like I was ascending after a rough week fr Would recommend miso and black garlic broth options. Black garlic is salty without overdoing the richness or flavor, while miso is light and easy to down without sacrificing flavor. Btw they use white miso, I think
Great food and great service! We dined on a Sunday night and there was no wait getting a table. The server was attentive and friendly. The gyoza was really good, probably my favorite gyoza I’ve had. The ramen itself was also really good, not my favorite but still good enough to visit again!
Went here on a date night and had an awesome time. Service was great, food was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy. I will be returning and enjoying some more Miso! Got an appetizer, two drinks (one alcoholic), and two entrees all for under $50 which isn't too bad. Plus, the service was incredibly speedy. If we would have eaten fast we likely could have been in and out of there in under 15 minutes! I highly recommend this location
Tried this restaurant recently and it was pretty good! Didn’t have the ramen tho, so will definitely have to try that very soon and update. Had the ten don shrimp and that was delicious! Very crunchy and flavorful. Also had the chicken rice sandwich but in my opinion, the chicken was too dry. Our waiter was also very kind and helpful which was great. Will be back to try more!
6/10. We ordered the agedashi tofu and the gyoza to start, and they brought out one of the wrong appetizers (karaage instead of agedashi tofu), and then for entrees we ordered the Tsukemen and the half/half. I ordered my Tsukemen with the hanabi black dipping broth, which was flavorful and delicious; but the half/half was supposed to be tonkotsu black and shoyu and it tasted like they gave us the wrong base for both halves (tasted like miso - overwhelmingly seaweed taste and the second tasty watery like bland tonkotsu) overall I was pleased with my Tsukemen but the incorrect half and half and the incorrect appetizers is not a good look. We probably won't be back.
Came in with a few friends one very cold rainy evening and this is exactly what we needed. We were attended quickly, ramen came in hot and piping delicious. The staff were very nice, always checking up on us. The vegetarian ramen options are limited like a tomato base which I did not want and curry. I went with curry ramen, it was my first time trying it. Isn’t my favorite I would say but nonetheless really good food.
Wonderful experience and atmosphere overall. Staff are friendly. Highly recommend the fried dumplings (pork/chicken) as an appetizer. Food was great! Karikara Chicken sauce was thick and a lot, couldn’t enjoy as much. Ramen was so delicious and the spicy level was enjoyable. I will definitely come back the broth was amazing!
I would rate the food here a 3.5/5. My dish, curry katsu-don was good. The ramen, half and half spicy tonkotsu and black tonkotsu, did not have any flavour at all. I would not recommend the ramen. The appetizers, shrimp sumai and karikara (it was sweet), were good as well. The gyu don was alright but dry.
I like Hanabi and come here whenever Im craving for ramen but tonight's experience was not so pleasant. I usually get half and half, and spicy miso came out very warm like it was left outside for awhile. Btw, the food came out in a less than 5 minutes. The temperature difference between two were too great, the colder one just wasnt tasteful. On top of that, the waitress brought a check when I was only half way done. It wasnt pack so she didnt do it to push me out but I felt like i had to finish the food early so ended up hurrying finishing the food. I checked my timeline and I was literally in and out in 26 min.
I've been here a few times now with groups due to the convenient location. The staff is great and the atmosphere is great and cozy. It can fit a lot of people without feeling too packed, despite the smallish size. The food however does not meet expectations. I saw some good reviews on the food and assumed my first time it may have been a fluke but I've been here 3 times total and the quality is not very good. It's not terrible food, but what I expect for a ramen restaurant, it's in the bottom tier compared to all of the others I've been to. The ingredients and broth never taste fresh, the fried rice isn't great, and I wasn't impressed with any of the appetizers I tried. I can tell neither the noodles nor broth are house made. It's a fine place to get a bite to eat if you're walking around the area and don't want to drive, but every alternative within a 10 minute drive I've been to has better quality food.
Went here with my fiancé while in Carrollton, I must say this place has a lovely serene, welcoming, and cozy atmosphere. Perfect for a date night. We had: 1. Takoyaki: Perfectly executed, thin crispy outer layer -> custardy middle layer -> octopus cooked just right. Seasoning was on point. 2. Black Garlic Ramen: - Pork Chasiu: highlight of the dish. Balanced fat and meat, melt-in-your-mouth texture and very clean flavor. - Egg was either slightly overcooked or not left long enough in marinade for yolk to turn custardy. - Garlic oil: beautiful roasted garlic fragrance but didn’t overpower the broth at all. - Broth: Tasted a little watered down. But considering the quality of pork/chicken bones you can get in Texas, the broth is good. 3. Shoyu Ramen - Toppings are perfect like the Black Garlic Tonkotsu. - Broth: Better than the Black Garlic Tonkotsu; however, the taste katsuobushi was a little overwhelming and 1 dimensional. - There was a piece of garlic skin in my bowl.
Awful. Did I visit on an off day? When I give a “one” rating, for me, it means the food is not edible. Stopped by for two things, Miso Ramen (-5) and Takoyaki (4) as appetizer. Atmosphere was pleasant and clean. Staffs were friendly and fast. But the food was ill prepared and seems to have a serious handling issue. Ramen tasted bad, I ate few bits and couldn’t finish. 1) noodle was a bit soft. 2) Two pieces of Chashu pork was over cooked, so much fat and were slimy, in room temperature cold, and has strong rancid meat taste. 3) soup base is the most impotent part in a ramen, theirs was salty, no miso taste, no fragrance, definitely tasted like a mixed of old leftover with new. 3) I was afraid to eat the eggs but did test it, they are also room temperature cold. Five Takoyakis were well made, plenty of Benito flakes, but drenched in very salty brown Takoyaki sauce and mayonnaise.
