Wish I knew the names of whomever was working this Monday 12/19/22 on the night shift around 8:30 pm. They killed it though. Was worried about going to this location even though it's the closest because of the reviews it has gotten in the past. After checking more recent reviews decided to give it a try. Things have gotten expensive but so has everything. Was definitely worth the price however.

One of the better Burger Kings I have been to. Food was filling and warm. Drinks were cold and thirst-quenching. With the app, prices were good and competitive. A gourmet meal it is not but for some good filling foods and drinks, it was great.

Very friendly staff that was helpful in local directions, asked me if I wanted Ketchup, Ranch, which is a first in years from a Fast Food Joint! Their Bacon King just tasted better somehow (Maybe its the Nature Valley Ranch that he gave me!).

My sister, niece, nephew and I went through the drive through at a late hour and our order was taken by a friendly young lad from Atlanta! He was so kind and he left an amazing impact on us all with just his demeanor; he seriously made our night!

I generally use the drive thru, one shift, I've trained to give me a payment receipt, but this is not SOP I've also got home to find the order fulfilled incorrectly. I keep going back because it's better than Jack-in-the-box and I'm not going to succumb to Mickie D's.

It was good but there wasn't enough help. The lady did a good job and she did the best she could. I went to drive up first but no one came to the mic to take my order. So I had to back out of drive thru and go inside to order. However food was good and really no complaints.

Fast food.... What can you say, it's your standard Burger King. The service is fair, this particular location is newly remodeled however and looks clean. What really sucks is they don't open any earlier. You need to be on the road by 6 or 6:15 am to beat the traffic and this location open till 6:30 am M-F, 7:30 am on Sun.

It always seems like this particular Burger King is understaffed so there is generally a wait, especially when going through the drive-through. The food is up to the same quality level as other Burger Kings, but definitely don't head there when in a rush. You'll probably end up late, as I have on several occasions.

We ordered the big meal deal on the app, 3 whoppers, 3 cheeseburgers, 3 small fries & the drive thru line took 25 min to get from ordering to picking up. Unacceptable amount of time to wait, especially in a drive thru line. We requested (on the app) no mayo on 2 whoppers n on one cheeseburger and yet they messed up the order. They put no mayo on 2 cheeseburgers and left the mayo on 2 of the whoppers. I have experienced similar problems at this particular BK in the past but thought we would give them a shot again as the power went out all throughout Castro Valley yesterday. Don't think I am gonna repeat my mistake though unfortunately as much as I love BK burgers and onion rings. They have had a big turnover I have noticed, seemingly a new or the same hiring sign as years ago... 🤔

Food is good at Burger King. But this was the second time that I had a legit gift card that was declined. I don't understand how that happens. I won't ever present a gift card at a BK ever again, so since there are other options to combat this stampeding inflation, I most likely won't be at a BK again.

The employee that was working the drive thru couldn't understand what we were ordering, the chicken fries were recooked and hard, we asked for barbecue sauce for our 2 large orders when we made it home, she only gave us 2. She didn't give us any napkins at all. She clearly acted like she didn't want to be there.

Was the first time coming here. Realized we had two items missing from our order when we pulled out of the driveway. Hubby went in, asked for his diet coke with no ice. He got coke with ice. And then had to go back in after seeing we were missing our jalapenos poppers.

Got a a fish sandwhich, large fries and a Coke Zero, they cost $18. The fish sandwhich was small and didn't taste like much other than pickles and suace. The Coke Zero tasted off, like a combination of plastic and some other flavor, maybe citrus or something similar... Not just odd but enough to make me toss it out after a couple of tugs on the straw. This was more like Burger Jester than King...

So I don’t normally review but went here yesterday. I asked the young man (appeared to be slightly younger than me, maybe mid twenties but could be an old, odd looking teenager too) at the counter what came on the crispy onion whopper. He lets out the good ol’ “uhhh” and lists the ingredients eventually revealing one to be cheese. I basically said, “perfect. One of those with no cheese please!” Order was a tad slow but whatever. Finally get the burger and it has mayo on it, which he didn’t tell me about. Whatever, honest mistake, but I can’t pick that off so I politely asked him to fix it, even saying “I didn’t know there’d be mayo on this.” The kid knew very well I COULD have, and most customers more likely would have said “YOU DIDN’T TELL ME there would be this or that.” I say the nice version of that and ask ‘em to make it again with no mayo. What does he say? He just mutters “sure.” I’m sorry, am I wasting your time asking you to do your job? I didn’t say that, I’m just giving you an example of the restraint I had vs this kid. Even a “yeah” woulda been WAY better. Think all of us who’ve had to deal with anybody ever agrees “sure” is universal language for “I’ll do it for you even though I want you to get out my life forever.” I’m sure he thought way less pleasant thoughts about me by now. Anyway the burger comes out, suspiciously fast this time. I looked on it and now it has cheese on it, the FIRST thing I asked to be left off. Are you guys kidding me at this point? This a joke? Also the ingredients even had this “hosed down and thrown together” kind of look to ‘em. I finally took the thing back to the counter saying now it has cheese on it. (Mind you this whole time if this were something like lettuce or pickles or anything non slimy, I would have picked that stuff off and LEFT y’all alone. I am not a difficult dude to please) I said, politely, I’m gonna wanna go ahead and get a refund. He then proceeds to need to call out the two or three or so ladies from the kitchen, and basically have a big talk about why we now need to give this customer a refund, all in Spanish. Right in front of me. Pretty sure if it’s a conversation the customer is semi supposed to be involved in you don’t handle that business in your native tongue. I know some people would say “well wait why should that matter?” It should. It absolutely does matter because not everyone knows what you’re saying, when you’re dealing with a NON-bilingual or NON-Spanish-speaking customer. You could totally be representing the face of Burger King’s business and be taking potshots about the customer you’re having to help. I’m not saying they did that (I actually know enough Spanish to know they didn’t call me anything bad) but just saying, pretty sure corporate doesn’t want you doing that that way. Two stars instead of one because I think they could be told this and improve, but yeah some tough love is due here. The cashier didn’t say anything inflammatory to me, just seemed very passive aggressive, and even closing the whole interaction off with a “we good?” I’m sorry? What did we just have a fist fight or something? You ask “everything ok” not “we good.” Gotta polish up your customer service etiquette my man. Anyway, I just said yeah thank you, not taking the bait, to which he replies — you guessed it — “sure.” It’s okay, you don’t have to worry bud, I’m NOT coming back.

The food and atmosphere are what you expect from BKA. However, what givebthis location a bad rating is its staff and service. There is one lady whom I'm lucky to have handle my order, but the others that I've dealt with seem to be clueless or outright rude. One late night I had ordered online for pick up. I came over and the doors were locked and the employees were signaling me to either go around or go away. Nobody helped and the only way I got to reach them was to walk up to the drive-thru window and this lady ONLY spoke spanish and she was definitely rude about it. She also seemed to not know how to look up my order and it took her about 4, 5 mins to figure it out. My most recent visit, I ordered pick-up online again. When I got there, I stood at the counter for 10 mins (the only guy waiting there). The guy taking orders was handling the drive-thru but didn't even acknowledge me. There was no interaction until another employee started her shift. Then she tells me that my order hadn't even been noticed, let alone started. In short, this location needs better training and/or more staff. What's the point of their app if nobody know how to handle the orders on the other side? In terms of manners, I'm not asking for much, just treating customers with the bare minimum.

On a Sunday morning at 9:30 ... I am waiting here at the register the guy in front of me left because he was waiting too long. Only 2 employees here mostly serving the drive thru. This is a management problem. The two employees are hustling as fast as they can. Service is extremely slow. Dining area is a mess. Tables not wiped down. Someone needs to call in more workers. I still haven’t got my food yet.

I only have it 1 star because I had to in order to write this review. There is no sense in me specifying each issue. This place is awful. I will mention the employee who helped himself to an order of fries while working the cash register. Not to mention I say in the drive through for at least 15 minutes. I would've driven off, but of course the way they have it set up, you can't leave, so you're stuck there to ensure the awful service. I really hate this place.

OMG This place is so gross, starting With the old guy who works in the mornings, he's always so unpolite disrespectful and touches everything without changing gloves, he's not wearing a hat, he's hair falls into our food, he always has a messy appearance (shirt out of his pants, zipper down, dirty uniform) and I can't believe he's the manager, he's supposed to be the face of the store but it's very gross to get my food from him any time I come over. JULIO IS HIS NAME, PLEASE RETIRE YOU DESERVE IT

Without a doubt the worst fast food place I've ever been too. Staff is incompetent, place is filthy, caught girl that took my order thoroughly scratching her butt. Spent about 40 minutes in drive through, the whole time watching un happy customers on the inside upset because there orders were messed up. Couldn't take it anymore and left. Cost me 25$ and I didnt get my food. Avoid this place at all costs.

I visited this BK at 7pm on a weekday for some basic drive through burgers. There was no one taking orders at the drive through and no one manning the drive through window. Another customer walking out of the dining room said that the workers who were in there said they weren't on shift. What the hell??

Went to buy my kids a chicken sandwich and some chicken fingers and forgot to tell them no sauce on the chicken sandwich because my little one is a picky eater. My fault right so when I got to the window I didn't ask to fix it I asked if I could add another chicken sandwich no sauce and was told NO very rudely and told I had to get back into drive through line. The way the driveway is set up I would have to exit property and basically go around the block.. have it your way my foot.. didn't purchase anything and went down the street to Jack in the box and will never go back to burger king. Not first problem at this burger king just the last straw

This BK is suffering and staff needs more training for service to be brought up to fastfood service standards. From what i've experienced, i can imagine the comments previously posted are true. Owner... there's an old saying that holds true to today "inspect what you expect". Wish you the best.

One of the WORST BK in the area. Spend 25 mins in the drive thru, order wrong and charge extra money. At the end no soda and I ask why she charge me more and she say she didn't have her glasses. I for deserve that horrible customer service.

The worst Burger King I've ever been too. Everytime I come here it's an issue. Last time they served me fries from dirty oil while the employees had a full blown conversation about how much they hated their boss and how much they hated working there. Very loudly. I had to wait while they spoke with one another about how unhappy they were. Then I come here today and ordered the stacker burger and they tell me they ran out of the sauce, then I ask for the rodeo burger they tell me they ran out of that sauce too and they only had ketchup and mustard!!!! Then I get to the window and it take forever, the cashier ask me what drink I ordered and she appeared to be on drugs and completely unprofessional. Never again

Worst service ever ive made mistakes on coming for years but I finally had it the avg wait time is 30 min in the drive thru when theres no people if theres a line you’re stuck for 45 minutes its been years with this type of service I honestly dont think the owner cares... avoid this BK I LOVE Burger King and the whopper thats why I decided to finally write a review.....I really wanted a whopper!!! Thank you Jack in the for the speedy service

Well, let me start by saying... BK was out of Chicken Nuggets.. What? Really? Ok, then I ordered the king Deal, with a Whopper, Soda, fries and 2 chocolate chip cookies. The Whopper was... Naah... bland tasteless and boring. The fries were COLD! REALLY? definitely not fresh (unless fresh is meant to be cold), the cookies, well , cookies, nothing to say about it. But overall a bad experience for me.

Ugh! This was my fav BK in the Bay area ....now IT'S NOT! THAT GIANT IS THE ONLY THING going for it right now, they would not honour our survey code for breakfast it was valid not very nice of Mrs.BK I guess they think somehow were tricking them or they sysytem but you can only do it every 14 days anyway .ugh whatever BK. Fast food doesn't apply here, when I went through the drive-thru( big mistake) when I ordered my food I was clean shaven, and when I finally got to the pickup window, I had a beard. Oh one more thing. spicy chicken sandwich sucked.

Customer service is horrible. No one knows whats going on, the lady in the back cooking was taking drive through orders while trying to cook which is stupid because she cant even enter the order in!! And that same older lady never gets anything right. The lady(another) at the register was apparently on break so she said she couldn't help but someone would be right with us, meaning this kid that was walking back and fourth looking for something that he couldn’t find, so she decided to help us anyway.but the whole time she took our order she was half way taking our order while trying to tell the other person to come help us. I asked for no cheese and they put cheese. And it wasn’t even melted!! Lmao.And this whole time the kid is still looking for lids i guess. Then our food came out and they were bickering back and fourth about what food is what and who it goes too....they need new management asap.night time manager lady is really bad.she’s always “Lost” if u know what i mean.

I Tried the New Impossible Burger, it is " NOT " all that Great. It was A Bit " DRY " & a Little Stringy. A Dryer Version of Fine Milled Soy Bean patties. It left Me Feeling Disappointed & Quickly in Need of a " Restroom " Because My Stomach just can't take Processed Food like this!!! Sorry BK but you " Dropped " the ball on this One.

I'm pretty sure the entire staff is on a lot of drugs or just really dense. It just took 30 mins to get to meals to go which they couldn't even bother to tell us which was which and it took 10 mins to place our order because the lady at the register kept forgetting what we were telling her and getting distracted and looking around like she was incredibly high. Get it together you guys!

This is one of the most poorly run BK's I have ever visited. This type of intro has now happened (at least) 3 times. I walk in for lunch. Two employees walk right by me at the register (where I am waiting to order). One acknowledges me (she's tending the drive up window) and one "checking in" (uses a thumb-stamp device near a register), who doesn't acknowledge me - not even a look). So, I wait there for almost 5-minutes (and I am the only one who is waiting). Still no one comes over to take my order. I'm (basically) being ignored, so I walk out. The drive up window-person continues to take orders (obviously, from customers who have just driven up, after my arrival to the counter). I would have given 0-stars, if I could have. And remember, this is not the 1st time I've been treated here this way. It is now a pattern at this place (not a one off). I will NOT take that kind of customer abuse. Especially since there are lots of eating options in the area. This is my LAST visit to this BK. I will just go to the one in the next town (if I really want BK?) for lunch. I wonder if the franchise owner of this BK knows his/her employees are treating perspective (waiting) counter customers being abused like this?

Worse drive thru experience ever. My husband is ordering our food while the girl taking the order kept cutting him off with a total amount when weren’t finished ordering. Then she proceeded to tell us to pull toward, pull forward after telling her repeatedly we were not finished. Then a male voice answered saying can I take your order and then I told him we just ordered and can we review our order on the screen? Then the girl answered back saying our total was $17 something. So I told my husband drive up to the window and the girl says , “ listen you’re on a timer “ that I needed to hurry up! Now I’m frustrated and I ask to speak to the manager. The guy which is named Yoseph comes to the window and tells me They didn’t take my order. I said the girl just took my order and he told me me we came to the window the order was canceled! Then when I asked if he can take my order, he said NO I had to get back in line! I then asked him who his manager was and he refused to give me the name and closed the window in our face!!! Later I find out , he’s not the manager . The manager is Julio so I asked to speak to him and he said goodbye and come tomorrow to speak with Julio! That’s insane rude and these people should not be working with the public. I am calling corporate and making a formal complaint against Yoseph that works at this location.

I frequent this Burger King only because it is the close to my house. This is the worst Burger King! Very Slow service. VERY DISORGANIZED! The two front counter people seem lost. I watched people wait almost 10 minutes to place their order. The manager is useless. I had to ask for a drink cup - my fries were cold - I waited 12 minutes for my food. It was entertaining watching the front counter people walk in circles.... wondering what to do. The Dublin Burger King is much better.

I just spent almost $27 for 2 meals and I can’t believe they can’t give me 2 ranches for free!!! They charged me .73 cents but she tell me they are .25 cents each. Never again and shame on Burger King for for this!!! And the food was cold too!!!!!

Customer service is bad. Ordered a chocolate shake, employee repeated the ordered. I paid and got a oreo shake instead that cost more. Returned and they took their time to replace it, but not refund the cost overage. Second time ordered a breakfast meal, was not asked what protein I wanted and had to tell her after she rang up the order. Gave me my order and said here's your order. Missing the coffee and had to tell her that the order was not complete. She brought the coffee with not apology. There won't be a third time visit at this BK.

Never again. Cashiers were very nice but the gentleman who worked at around 530-545, he rubbed his eyes WITH gloves on and didn’t think to change them. So glad he didn’t touch my food. Not to mention the fries taste like they were cooked in very old grease. NEVER AGAIN

Employees act like we are bothering them by ordering our meals. Each and every face I saw during our visit seemed angry or upset. Not a single employee offered a smile or a pleasant grin. I've traveled from one en of t h e country to the other. And we visit Burger King wherever one is available. It's very disappointing. We will continue to visit other Burger kings, but this one never again. I think people forget most good experiences but very rarely forget the bad ones and mine will stick with me for a while. Whether they like it or not, it's the job that pays their bills. They should all find the job that makes them happy so they don't take it out on the people that pay a meal so they can get a salary.

If you order online thru the BK app it says your order will be ready at counter, but at 8:30pm on a Saturday evening, we found the lobby doors locked and had to sit in the drive through line for 30 minutes to pick up our online order, and the employee didnt even see that we placed an order in their system when we pulled up to the order menu letting them know we had online order for pickup, that is just dumn, this location is the worste ive been at. They need to post their lobby hours on the app.

Service was horrible. They took forever to deliver my window order at least 15 mins not a lot of customers I thought they were making my order fresh. The nuggets were awful and cold. The sandwiches looked like they had been sitting out and they just warmed them up. The fries had no salt and Luke warm. Unfortunately they did not provide a receipt (perhaps on purpose) for me to properly fill it an online survey. Tried to call the store for store# but their mailbox was full. Never again!
