Absolutely recommended! Thank you so much for the great food and excellent staff (ANTONIO) who welcomed me and my family. It was our first time visiting this location, recently relocated to the area. ANTONIO was kind, and patient, helped explain the choices to us. Because of that extra perk, I am highly recommending this place as a ‘must go to’ , for healthier meal choices, cleanliness and organization, and amazingly kind and hard-working staff like Antonio. The thing that Ono offers grilled chicken breast option in their menus is a super plus for me. There are no other Hawaiian bbq places offering healthy option of chicken breast. I always go for their lemon peppers flavor when ordering their grilled chicken breast plate. I also tried their bbq chicken, beef and shrimps, bbq chicken is the best. Portion is generous and taste is always good. Their steamed veggies are also freshly prepared and lightly salted. Overall their foods are in high quality consistently. First choice for me if craving for Hawaiian bbq food.

The meats need to be grilled long (grill marks). Mac salad hits the spot. The size of the rice scoops could be a little larger. Order the Hawaiian BBQ Mix plate (kalbi, beef and chicken teriyaki) or the Seafood Mix Combo (panko deep fried white fish and large size shrimp and chicken teriyaki) with two scoops of rice and Mac salad scoop. Either will satisfy your hungry appetite. Place is clean, bright, and cherry. Kid Friendly: keiki menu and high chairs. And handicapped friendly: dining table and two parking spots right in front of the entrance.

Chicken BBQ is really tasty, I will go more often if the 2 younger cashier were more friendly. At least acknowledge you and say something else that just hand you the order and turn around. Custumer service it’s all to have return customers!

When I went it was pretty quiet. The food was great. I personally got, two masubi with a side of macaroni and the can guava drink. Typical Hawaiian chain. Food was good and fresh. But too pricey for the amount you get. The quality of ingredients is better than the L&L Hawaiian across the street.

This place is vibing, it's clean and the staff are friendly that to me makes a place great.

I’ve been eating at Ono since I was kid so I can definitely say that the price has risen for some things and for others not so much. I appreciate the portion sizes; I AM NOT starving after eating here! Carry at least $25 with you though.

We love Hawaiian BBQ and these guys have all our favorites. The katsu chicken is always tasty. The warm macaroni salad is absolutely delicious.

Came here with a coupon for a half-priced lunch plate. I ordered the "fire chicken lunch plate" with a drink (as per the coupon). It came with two-scoops of steamed rice and one-scoop of macaroni salad. Great amount of food for the couponed-price but not as good a value without the coupon (price was just under $11, with tax). $7.00 more, without the coupon. Food was excellent, as the fire chicken was mildly hot and spicy. The bed of veggies (broccoli and cabbage) was fresh/crunchy. Mac salad was good and the steamed rice was perfectly made. The iced-tea was from a spigot-mix and was awful. The spigot it came out of dispensed more water than tea (so, the IT tasted more like water and less like tea). Cashier was indifferent but courteous. The eating area felt more like a cafeteria but I think they are going for that indoor "Hawaiian feel" (they had outdoor seats too). Pricey choice for CV but food was solid/excellent.

The food was good. I had ordered the combo of chicken, steak and katsu. The steak was very disappointing, overcooked and hard. Didn't find out until I got home.

It's an OK dining experience, nothing spectacular but they need to remove items on menu they no longer serve like Mahi Mahi fish, poor advertising for the public 🙄

As Ono locations go this one is decent. They are a little cheap on the quantity of food here compared to other Ono locations, specifically the San Francisco Sloat Boulevard one and the Colma Serramonte Center one. My favorite meal is the chicken combo plate, the other locations give you twice as much chicken, vegetables, macaroni salad and rice

The prices have gotten too high, and their service is...eh. I only go to get food for my family. Usually I'll order something from Ramen 101 next door since their prices are similar but offer better food.

I've been coming here for a couple years now. Recently, I have noticed that that portions have decreased on the Mini BBQ chicken. One scoop of rice and one scoop of Mac. A few months back the portions were a bit heavier. Skimping on the portions for the same price? I probably won't be going to this location anymore or my family either.

Heads up for those with MSG sensitivity ~ first time wasn't sure, this time for sure - MSG pass out, wake up with a hammering headache a short while later. They have changed their sauce and the meat (beef) seems to be of a lower quality since opening ~ 6 months ago.

They served over more than 3 doordashers in the moment of opening the business skipped first come clients making sure even though doordashers come by later they'll always make them priority I waited 45 mins for them to give me a one order item and with an attitude after me seeing them serve the doordashers first knowing I arrived first the worst Customer Service ever.

Worst customer service I’ve had anywhere in years. Rude and clearly didn’t want to be there or do something so simple as to grab me sauce. To top it off the musics so loud you can’t hear a thing.

I loved this place and I understand inflation is hard. But I just paid $18.06 for a head of cabbage and a few scraps of meat. I ordered chicken and beef no rice no mac salad and the protein portion was a joke. I have ordered the same thing at other places for the same amount of money or less and have gotten way more. Look elsewhere for Hawaiian bbq.

Wait time was 20 minutes I was told 5-10 minutes. When I asked the guy at the register how come they weren’t making the orders in order, people after me getting their food, his reply it’s whatever the cooks decided but o well. No apology or sympathy. Not that I need it, just won’t be returning. New business and this is the attitude. It won’t survive long. My katsu chicken breading was off the chicken lol should have just gotten grilled chicken.

Today is Thursday, December 18th and the cashier who was in the restaurant this evening has absolutely NO customer service skills whatsoever! First, she ignored us when my son and I came in. However, I extended some grace because she was serving people. However, when she served us our order, it was incorrect. Instead of talking to me about how to fix it and make it right as the customer, she proceeded to me what I had ordered, which was NOT what I ordered. They gave me and mix with beef, which we don’t even eat. Quite frankly, I never would have ordered a “mix” because I didn’t even know it was on the menu. It isn’t even so much that the mistake was made, it was more so the way that I was treated afterward, as if it was my fault when it wasn’t. There was no apology for the mistake whatsoever, and when I asked for the manager’s name, the woman who is there who is in a higher level, refused to give it to Mee Mee. Needless to say, I will not be returning and I would advise that if you want good customer service, avoid this place. It’s a shame because I love to support local businesses. Oh well!
