Pizza Hut stays being the best not only for the ingredients or service and obviously the pizza! But because of employees like ROBIN!!! I will always come to Pizza Hut not only for the pizza but the employees that make it better!

I am leaving this review only because of my delivery driver. I have never experienced such a pleasant experience with a delivery driver. My delivery driver was an older Hispanic gentleman, I didn’t catch his name. I saw him get out of his car to bring my pizza to the door, I opened my door and say “hello sir” and he so happily replies “HEY!! PIZZA IS HERE :D“ he was SO happy to be here delivering pizza on a Friday evening. He deserves a raise! God bless him!

My pizza is always fresh, well made and always delicious! My garlic parmesan breaded wings were perfectly sauced up! Not too little and not too much! Also enough to put on my pizza 🤤

The waitress and cook that worked at 4:30 today (June 9th) were unbelievably friendly and accommodating. I walked in, ordered, and it took less than 10 minutes to cook a large pizza for a to go order. The cook was very nice, and the waitress made small talk and asked if she could gather plates, napkins, and anything else for me while I wait. By the way, the pizza was amazing as always!!

I hope this Pizza Hut never closes. I love coming here and picking up my orders. The staff is friendly and they always make sure everything is right before we leave out the door. Support your small town Pizza Hut in Castroville!

Curbside service was great! It was fast and the employee was very friendly. The food was delicious and my order was correct! I use to get pizza at your marbach and loop 410 location but several times i had problems. Since I moved closer to this location I will once again be a Pizza Hut customer!

Our waitress was an older lady. She was great! VERY NICE and VERY PROFESSIONAL. We had a birthday get together for my niece, our waitress made sure everybody was taken care of.

Just had to give a shout out. This Pizza Hut in Castroville is outstanding. Yah, the pizza is good, the atmosphere is good, etc. But the staff are absolutely phenomenal!! They are always super polite and helpful. And our server, Robin, was probably the best server I've ever had. She was incredibly courteous and did everything she could to make our simple experience at a Pizza Hut as excellent as possible. Highly recommend!! Also, Pizza Hut, please give these staff raises (especially, Robin). They definitely deserve it!!

The only pizza hut with 50 miles of my hometown that still reminds me of my 90's pizza hut. The pizzahut in my hometown taste nothing like the original pizza hut unfortunately. Service and food is always amazing in Castroville! You can always count on it tasting just like the original.

It use to be an awesome pizza place, service & all. My wife and I went yesterday, sat at a booth, this male with a beard was in a very unwelcoming attitude took our order, just unpleasant. He brought our drinks, I didn't like he had FULL access to our drinks & food. We left. Wish zero was an option here.

If possible I would have given 6 stars on 5 star scale because they are authentic value driven place … sure it’s a chain but chains only as good as their pieces… this Pizza Hit far and away best chain place I have been to in San Antonio area

Mrs. Robin was one of the BEST, nicest, and most professional waitresses that I have observed in some years. 👏🏻🔥 She was fast at helping me and my girlfriend settle at a table, was fast at bringing us our three pizzas, and constantly checking on us to make sure nothing went wrong at any point. It's unfortunate this location is rated as low as it is, we need to bring it back up! I appreciate HER, and every other employee's service, I hope one day, this location's daily business can be huge again like back in the day 🌐

Only one person was working and our order was out fast. She was very nice and helpful. Pizza was delicious. Bathroom was very clean.

The boneless wings were pretty small. One was about the size of my thumb, and I do not have small fingers for a guy. I have had pieces of fried okra that were larger than this "wing"

Service was really good, pizza was great! The restaurant is worn and was a little dirty. Not like the Pizza huts used to be.

Very clean and buffet had a good variety. Nice thing is they will make to order a pizza of your choosing to put on the buffet. Price of buffet includes a side salad made to order.

We dined in. The pizza and bread sticks were pretty good. The only complaint is that the mens restroom could be cleaner. The bathroom could use some renovations.

Call it nostalgia .... I enjoy pizza hut pizza over all others. So my review is very bias. We tried to order online but had to call in because web site didn't have delivery option for our area when they do deliver.

Pizza was good. Not as much bacon on half but still "ok" . Ordered 3 dips only recieved one. Ordered stuffed crust they called to say they were out of it. Cool I'll just take hand tossed. I called back because stuffed crust is a BIG price difference they said they will throw in cheesesticks. Didnt recieve those not a biggie never had them so dont know what I'm missing out on if good or bad. Just check order before they leave. Will be doing carry out next time. Update: thank you pizza hut owner. I have ordered since then and everything was delicious. We got the stuffed crust, 10$ box and a cookie. Upgraded the bread sticks to cheese sticks worth it. 😋

Update Oct. 2024 - Wow! They must have gotten a new manager because this place is clean! Pizza was good, people were friendly, I’m impressed. Great for take-out, but we never eat there anymore. The dining room is always dirty.

Pizza was delicious. Not enough staff. Had to wait, as did other customers, for drinks. The only counter person was also running the pay register during a busy time of day. Store needs a self-serve drink area.

I live in between Castroville and 1604. To my knowledge, this is the only pizza place that delivers. Domino's and Pizza John do not deliver. This pizza was the most expensive pizza I've ever ordered out of a chain restaurant. The quality was satisfactory but nothing more than that. They delivered so they get five out of five stars for the delivery.

They were very rude the other day when I went in when I asked for my stuff robin the cashier was disrespectful And dismissive, and when I asked her for my ranch she was like well did I give it to you very rude to me

7/29/22 - Very Disappointing for all 4 Pizzas! We ordered a Supreme, 2 Pepperoni, and One 3 meat Large Pizzas (thin & crispy and hand tossed) to feed our family of 7. There was something "Off" about the Pizza Dough. It had an unpleasant sweet taste, it was heavy, doughy and it ruined the overall meal we were looking forward to enjoying. When our 2 grandkids who Love Pepperoni Pizza, took only one bite each and both said, "I don't like it. It tastes funny." They then asked for cereal instead. We go out of our way to support our Castroville PizzaHut as it is the only one in town. We ended up throwing away 2 large pizzas worth of combined slices and had to come up with something else for supper. We may need to go as far as Potranco Rd/1604 (about 16 miles vs 1 mile)to get our PizzaHut Fix. They had to know something was wrong with the dough (it even had an off smell) and yet they still served it to Anyone who ordered pizzas for Friday Evening. Poor Quality Control. I've known the Family who owns Many of the PizzaHuts in San Antonio for decades! I know their restaurants strive for high quality food preparation and service. I will be cautious if and when i order from the Castroville PizzaHut in the future as you should do the same. -John R

We have gone here a few times, and it is at best "Ok". The dining area needs either updating or at least a deep cleaning. We were given three plates for our breadsticks and had to give two back because they were still dirty. When the staff was getting us new plates, the first three were dirty, too. I will not be back.

Sorry to complain... First time I have had a problem but the pizza was under cooked.. Way under cooked... I ended up giving most of to the dogs... I will still probably order again but next time I will do a call in order and tell them to be sure and cook the pizza... It was raw dough in the middle and the crust and toppings just were not cooked... I know they are in a hurry but I am in no rush....

The food was fine, service not so much. I ordered for curbside, there 5 mins after the app said it was done. Called to say we were there, waited 10 mins, went inside and had trouble getting anyone to help us, no one seemed to care. Wish I did not have to tip ahead of time, you need to fix that.

Waited 10 minutes before anyone even checked on me or gave me a menu. The food came out fast and was good. However, I waited another 25 minutes, and no one ever came to check to see if I needed a refill or to even check at all. A young lady came out and checked her phone from the back, looked at me, and walked right back in the kitchen. I will never dine in here again.

How do I get a hold of someone at the store!? I've called multiple times and no one answers. I got home and I have the wrong order I paid extra for cheese bread and to add sausage on my pizza instead I got pepperoni only and bread sticks.

The customer service team there was nice and accommodating. The food on the other hand was horrible. It was around 1pm and we were excited for the lunch buffet. We got there and it was limited selection. Understandable as I believe the buffet is only from 11-2 and I'm sure because it is slow being it was a work day. My complaint is that the food was horrible. Pizza tasted old. The crust was hard. Pasta seemed to have been heated too long. The two stars are only due to the customer service. 0 for food.

If I could leave zero stars I would,one star is being nice.This place is an utter dump the manager Lisa is extremely unprofessional and yells the employees in front of the customers,she should have her title revoked as manager with how she treats people.the food was absolute garbage and took forever to come out the only saving grace was the employee Joshua's amazing service but aside from that I'm never coming here again seriously do better!!!!!

Horrible service. The assistant manager is awful at placing orders. Wait time quoted by the assistant manager was 30 minutes yet an hour later the order shows up completely wrong. Adriana the assistant manager who placed the order CAN NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR THEIR MISTAKE.

It took 1 1/2 hours to receive 1 order of wings and 1 order of fries, when it was deliver, the BBQ sauce was spilled all over all of my containers, and there was no sauce on the wings anymore, and fries were cold Been waiting 4 business days for my 56.00 dollars back, and now they are saying that they are getting new owners, and not sure how to get my money back! BEWARE

Both husband and I got food poisoning from this place. Have been sick since after we ate there yesterday. We will definitely never go back to this location. We have never had this issue with any pizza hut before.

Got a LG. Cheezybites pizza, told them 1/2 pepperoni & 1/2 sausage the whole thing was covered in pepperoni's barely any cheese on it! And the cheesy bites had no cheese it was all cooked out. At least Dominos puts a good amount of cheese on thiers! Not going to Pizza Hut no More!!

This particular location was over an hour behind in orders. I ordered online and was late for their approximate pick up time, I still waited 50 minutes for my food. That made it 1 hour and 20 minutes later than time predicted.

Called to place an order and got put on hold twice only for them to hang up on me.Called back and took another 15 minutes just to place the order again because they have no idea what they’re doing. Horrible customer service.

They always forget something. The service is terrible. The employees are always rude. It never takes them less than 45 mins to deliver and the tracker is never accurate.

Bah Humbug. Owner doesn't believe in Christmas. Our last time here. Not a Christmas decoration in the place. No cheer, no lights, nothing. Employee states "boss doesn't like Christmas." Place kind of filthy too. One food item at a time and apparently the owner doesn't believe in refills on soda either.

Our first time ordering for delivery from pizza Pizza hut in castroville , pizza was ok if they would have made it to my request I asked for thin crust crispy and light sauce , I got a pan heavy sauce supreme .oh well next time I'll get papa Johns.

Ordered a pizza online, get a call they say all their delivery drivers are stuck on 90 in an accident. So my boyfriend goes to get the pizza, gets there 15 minutes after they called us. There are two delivery drivers standing behind the counter, he said no one seemed to be over 16 so no management to even contact. Pizza is cold by the time he got home (10 min drive). Super disappointed, especially because I can't even speak to someone in charge because they are all kids.

Would be 2 star if lunch buffet wasn't raised by a dollar. Service is hit or miss "and its miss a lot more than hit". Have to get my refills every time I come since the waitress is usually on her phone ignoring the people not in front of the register. The place is a bit grungy and the restrooms are straight out of a SAW film. The food is pretty good and even though it's 5.99 VS its old price of 4.99 for lunch buffet, you get your monies worth. Just don't buy a drink their about 2.50 and since the waitress will avoid you like the plague no point in wasting money on something that will never be tended to again.

I went to have dinner with my Mother and Daughter. The door was blocked by a delivery drivers truck. The door chime went off every time the door was opened and disturbed everyone's conversations. We had to ask for plates, silverware, and refills. A former employee came by and walked into the back to get his own drink free of charge. A last resort place to go if you want a good meal.

DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER FOR DELIVERY! they will not deliver it on time, takes 1.5 hrs just to get it to your house. and don’t even think about calling they won’t answer at all. you get routed to customer service, & they are no help either. you will starve before they get to you. then they wonder why they don’t get tipped. your service sucks!

We ordered from here alot! Today we ordered and the system told us it was out for delivery at 4:50 at 5:15 it had not arrived so my husband called. He had to explain to three different people our concern of where our order was and that the last couple of orders had been cold. The third person he talked to wouldn't let him finish talking, he then stated our order left ten minutes ago making it leaving Pizza hut at 5:05. When we got our food at 5:20 we checked the food and it was cold delima eat it cold or send it back and go get something somewhere else. Interesting thing driver told us order was waiting on her to be delivered when she got to work at 5:00. SHAME on you sir for saying it just went out ten minutes ago it sat in your Pizza Hut for 15 minutes getting cold. Poor customer service, this is a small town and plan on telling anyone I see about the terrible food and service we received.

Would not recommend to anyone, restroom door handle broken, dirty bathroom, no flooring so floor is sticky, wait staff could care less we were there, paper towels are a joke, tea taste awful, soda taste dirty, windows have wipe marks all over, like they don’t care about their place at all, carry out is busy but don’t eat in not worth the money and u will be ignored, wait staff never cleared a table and sat in first booth folding boxes instead of cleaning tables or helping dine in customers, huge disappointment! Lisa, the shift manager running the store when I placed an order apparently thinks, for whatever reason, that Pizza Hut's internal processing methods is the customer's fault. Why is it that people think "this isn't my fault, I have no control over this" is a good excuse for pathetic customer service. Waited over 30 minutes for contactless service and then finally someone came out, asked for my name and never came back. After more prodding I came to find that "it was a systems issue". No one came to let me know after they discovered my order wasn't in their system, so I waited another 30 minutes longer. After voicing all this to the shift manager, Lisa, I was told that I could reorder with them and that I would have to pay. Who is going to give me back this wasted hour of my vacation? The girl who took order over the phone which took 20 minutes by the way. I ordered something that was supposed to be 20 dollars. When I arrived to pick it up I was told it was 43 dollars. Took another 46 minutes to make the right order. I got a free maranara sauce for my inconvenience. Do not go here.

Arrived at 12:30. Bad customer service. Only 2 types of pizza on buffet line. Restaurant dirty. Very disappointed. Every Pizza Hut locations I have been to have been great. Theres always one bad apple in the bunch.I will never stop here again.

Terrible service in Castroville TX. Nobody at the store to even answer the telephone ....no apology from them for the late and terrible experience....not delivered at the time promised. I understand things happen but a manager could have called us and explained or at least apologize. I tried calling them but no answer. I called eight times!

Worst place and service, bathroom door handle and lock did not work. Seats for the dining area are filthy including window frames. No syrup in the Dr. Pepper. Waitress unexperianced. I did not even want to leave the one star on this rating.

Do not use this location. We ordered a pizza that was over an hour late. They gave us a free pizza coupon. The app would not let us use it a week later. We called this store for a resolution. The manager told us to come in and they would honor the coupon. I came in and they said they cannot honor it because it has to be used through the app. I told them the app gave an error and was told to come in to use it. The manager gave me the runaround to avoid honoring the free pizza. We will no longer be giving Pizza Hut our business at all.

Not open at 11:15 on a Saturday. Didn't even have a chance to experience the food/service/atmosphere. Ridiculous. It was last Saturday, the 18th. I showed up at the restaurant @ 11:15, 15 minutes after the posted opening time. There appeared to be no one there, the doors were locked, and the middle of the dining room floor had what looked like some a large amount of incoming supplies, it almost looked palletized. As I stated before, I didn't order anything, I couldn't order anything, because there was no one there.

Not sure if they are short staffed or not, but it took 45 minutes to get a drink while sitting inside to eat. If they're short staffed, they should probably close the building to focus on just take out/online orders until fully staffed. I understand things happen, but things could also be resolved. Food was good as always.

This was ticket 54, invoice 40. We ordered a New Yorker. Supposed to be bigger than a large, with pepperoni on it. Instead it was just plain cheese, no pepperoni, I'm so disgusted!!! Don't plan to go back soon.

Be careful when you order delivery from pizza hut. They use door dash to deliver your pizza and sometimes you don't get your pizza and your charged a delivery fee of $5 because, " the door dash driver keeps it for themselves" is what I was told when I called pizza hut.

I called for a pizza at 9pm and I received a message it would be delivered an hour later. After an hour an a half it was still not delivered. I called back and was hung up on. I waited 20 minutes after that and called again. The pizza hut operator called the restaurant directly and had me on hold while I drove to the restaurant. When they finally answered I asked the guy on the phone to remake my pizza and I'll pick it up myself while it's hot. He told me no. When I arrived I asked for a fresh pizza he informed me he was going to call the cops. I said ok call the cops. I then sat down at a table. The cops showed up and I took home a cold pizza and an unfinished order. The cops didn't arrest me but they asked him for his driver's license. His license is expired. Yet he still needs to drive home. Hmmmmm

Been this place couple times. Usually not busy....half times order right other half wrong.. saw manager handling food and using cell phone w/o washing hands. Not very sanitary....if you don't mind getting ill eat here

The manager Lisa was very unprofessional. My order was supposed to be delivered to me directly . However it was not and on the instructions my number was place so they can call me. Which I did not receive no call at all. Upon opening my door dogs had gotten to my food. When trying to make things right Lisa the manger stated she did not want to do it because I was in the wrong when clearly her Driver did not call and did not knock on the door.Lisa was advised about me reaching out to someone else other than her and she did not care and started if the District manger wants to make things better they can reach out which is likely to happen. After checking my doorbell camera the pizza driver did not ring the doorbell and did not bother to knock on the door. Will be reaching out to corporate due to her lack of professionalism.

Ordered 1 pizza 6:45pm not delievered till 8:14pm Called 3 times to confirm no issues just to have it ring and hang up. To top it all off, the missed the added black olives. Worst service in the 7 years I've been ordering delievery from them. Management needs to take note quickly....

Just spent 1 1/2 hours trying to figure out where my order was, finally after being transferred 10 times to phone numbers that weren’t answering some call center lady tells me that my order was cancelled because they don’t deliver to my address, meanwhile the manager had no idea of the order because the call center employee never even sent it in to them apparently, this was such a horrible experience for just moving to this side of town and now I have to wait idk how long to get my 57$ back from them, they told me it has to get approved by my bank and that it’s out of their hands. I feel so scammed. I thought someone had stolen my money the whole time.

Whyyyyyyy when we say put olives and mushrooms on half you put it on the entire pizza. Do you know my 7 year old can read but your workers apparently cannot. This was fine when pizza was $5 but not when it’s $50. I’ll be excepting a free pizza made the right way. And I will be coming to get it when it’s convenient for me or you can have someone re deliver it and you can pay for your drivers gas since I’ve already been charged

I was in this pizza hut last week and the guy working at the register named was harrison.Was the worst customer service i've ever had in castroville was very rude a smart remarks.I asked for a bag.He told me they ran out and then asked me if there was a problem with me, carrying them with an ugly tone.

We usually order pizza from this location for our youth organization. We usually are welcomed with a smile but today the manager was rude 😒. Very disrespectful. Cursing and us. Just because we had asked where the other manager was. Pizza Hut usually helps out our organization by giving us a discount, but this manager was rude and seemed like he was had a stick up his a$$ we been ordering pizza from them for the past two years. Spending almost $200 every time. He even take out an took a picture of our truck. He told us his manager is Jessie. Jessie if your reading this. You need to get better people in there.

This location rarely gets an order right. The business and staff are very unkept. Customers do not dine in here. Carry out and delivery somehow keeps them afloat. It is not clean and I would not recommend this food or this location. Sadly, an automated response is generated for all the unsatisfied customers- see pic below. If we all refuse to use this location, they will be forced to close down and maybe we will have a great, fresh pizza company that gets orders right,, is clean, and has good service. Please spread the word. No more Pizza Hut. Sadly too, online orders are outsourced to India. They are hard to understand and this is taking away American jobs. Shame on you Pizza Hut.. you are not Patriots and you are lazy.

Unbelievably abominable!! I ordered two large pan crust. One, Supreme special and one with bacon and pepperoni. What I received was a dehydrated, flattened, greasy mess. On both. See for yourself

I simply can't grasp it. There is an option to choose extra sauce. Then there is 'special instructions' where you can again request extra sauce. You get home to find legit NO sauce anywhere on it. Let me guess, being that we were the only car in the entire parking lot and there were two workers doing nothing, they were under a lot of stress? Do better.

Ordered a dinner box, was told that the pizza has changed from rectangular to round pizza. So if you want pan pizza it will now be round. Got the round pan pizza and was disappointed, it's not the same. Why did it have to be changed. Don't change/fix what's not broken. I read pizza hut is not doing to good these days, I wonder why. Pizza hut is just not the same as it used to be. ☹️

Make sure you tell them that you want a pizza hut driver. Not a door dash driver. It's a hassle to get your refund when the door dasher leaves your order outside in the rain. After stealing a slice of your pie. This is how it arrived!!!! After we tipped them well.
