An extraordinary experience, to say the least. Just a few meters from the center of Cavallino lies this splendid "house," transformed by the owner, Giulio, into a beautiful and welcoming home restaurant where the atmosphere, food, and service are impeccable. I highly recommend trying it for anyone who has never been there, and for those who have already been, I will return, bringing others along. Places and people like this (Giulio) deserve to be praised and known. Congratulations on everything.

A dinner with friends, or perhaps more like a family dinner. The welcoming atmosphere and the friendliness of the host accompanied us throughout the evening. Without any worries about what to eat, we trusted him and began dinner with a selection of appetizers: cured meats and cheeses, a tender meat in a sauce that melted in the mouth, pittule, all kinds of vegetables, and a unique tartare. An excellent second course of meat, a tender and juicy rib-eye steak and baked potatoes, and finally a delicious chocolate cake. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take any photos, but I highly recommend it. It's an experience worth having: a welcoming home-style restaurant, and the owner makes it even more welcoming.

Good bread, spectacular turcinieddi, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and onions, meat stew with sauce cooked in a pot, a small but tasty mixed taglierini, I'm sure I'm forgetting something, oh yes, the fresh, hand-beaten beef tartare of excellent quality, then the rib eye steak that I took a photo of, which was also special, split in two, gigantic, more bread than you could have put on both the chili cream and the chili oil, a nice bottle of Primitivo di Manduria, full-bodied but of excellent quality, otherwise I wouldn't be writing this poem, four different liqueurs, one of which was actually a mint cream (interesting), a chili liqueur (for weaker ones), a thyme liqueur, and a bay leaf liqueur, and he left these four bottles on the table for us to help ourselves. This is truly great. It was a home restaurant, but the quality felt like a real restaurant, and it seats about 20 people. It was really good. I'd happily go back. Final cost: €50 per person Ridiculous And you eat what's there. Everything's fresh.

We organized a birthday party, and I must say I was truly impressed. I opted for a meat-based menu, allowing me to savor all the varied appetizers they prepare. They were delicious and innovative, blending the traditional flavors of our favorites with a touch of innovation. The first course and the mixed roast were also delicious, with excellent meats. Overall, the helpfulness and skill of the staff made everything even better. I'll be back as soon as possible.

SUBLIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Foreword: the only flaw was not having time to take photos, everything was so good. First time in this welcoming and intimate restaurant, which makes you feel right at home among friends or family. Excellent appetizers, including burrata, bruschetta with scampi tomatoes (typical Salento), cheeses, salami, vegetables, and much more. As for the meat, between sausage, bombette, and pork capocollo, we weren't sure which was better; everything was excellent. And above all, congratulations to Giulio, the owner, welcoming, kind, and helpful. We're limiting ourselves to 5 stars because it's the only thing better. PS: It doesn't end here; to finish, the Rocher cake, fore de capu (out of your mind), a typical Salento saying!

A very intimate first-floor restaurant in the center of Cavallino. The cuisine is exceptional, and we had a delicious, tender and succulent horse rib steak. We dined in a very charming and welcoming room.

Nice and welcoming place. But if we were to talk about the food quality/price ratio, I'd definitely give it only one star. The dishes described on the menu all had to be shared; we had to split an invisible piece of parmiggiana into three pieces, which only a skilled surveyor could do. The burrata also had to be shared, not to mention the raw and cold meat. If I were to return or recommend it, I absolutely wouldn't. The horse meat was three tiny portions for 12 people. Very, very dissatisfied. The reviews aren't credible because it's during dinner that the owner, in a somewhat friendly and completely fake manner, asks you to sit down, and sometimes even helps with suggestions. I don't recommend it.
