Yesterday we ate at Lazy Dog for the first time. It was a great experience! Armando and Vanessa were our servers. Both were polite, engaging and consistently asked if we needed anything. They were the friendliest servers and hostess staff we had ever had in a chain restaurant. I would recommend others to go there and will return ourselves.

This place is awesome. Evidently it is a sort of local thing but they do have a couple places in Texas and other states. The wait staff wear a plaid (southern style) attire. They have their own brand of beers and it is very good. Upon asking, it is just one owner at all their locations, but being from Atlanta, I feel they would do great in the southern states. Maybe they should consider doing franchising. I will for sure be back here on my next trip to the Los Angeles area.

It's always good to eat at lazy dogs finally we can eat inside. I had the sweet and spicy chicken. it's not spicy at all at least for me. I had a side of sriracha..

Great new menu. Goat cheese. Beets. Sweet potato tots with aioli. Entire Gluten Sensitive menu including lemon curd cake made with almond flour. Delicious Sweet and spicy chicken bowl - also gluten free.

Every other place in the mall had long waiting times. But here as soon as I walked in I was seated. I had the bbq burger, and that was really good. I had the fries umami style and I wouldn’t regret it the flavor was sting but really good. And the server was very helpful.

Sat at the bar after lunch and wanted to check out their beer list and it wasn't too bad. Out of my first choice, a hazy IPA. The edamame was the best I've ever had - Togarashi Edamame Beans sea salt, chili flakes, orange peel, garlic, ginger, black pepper [540 cal] $8.75. Bunch of different sauces available, but I recommend as is. The charbroiled taste was amazing. Will be back to try more of the menu. Bartender was also very friendly and prompt.

They have a lot of choices in the main menu , either food or beer , nice place to hangout or celebrate a party , my kids love the place too , coz lots of cute Dog picture , I love the salmon so juicy its perfect cooked for me. I can share that I love this restaurant but my dog. He thinks it's the greatest place i take him especially when he orders a beef bowl.

I'll be honest-We come here mostly for that vanilla cake with the strawberries and vanilla bean ice cream and not really dinner. We did have a couple of appetizers first, though. Bonus points for the late closing time, which is awesome for us night owls and folks who work late. Our server was training a new employee and they were both super nice and attentive.

Visited lucky dog during an gruelingly long road trip. Bartender and waitresses immediately recognized the stress in my eyes and treated me with the best service I could’ve asked for. Fresh delicious Food delivered within minutes. And the bartender gave me several samples of beers I was considering without my even asking. Love this place.

Visited this restaurant with my boyfriend while we were visiting and was really impressed with our overall experience! Bianca did a great job as our server! We had a great experience here. The service was great, the waiter was training another team member and did a fantastic job. He was attentive but not too much and offered things that were relevant to what we were ordering. We made it in time for their happy hour and that was a really nice surprise! The fries were only $3 and the Chile verde nachos were $8. The drinks were also from happy hour and the Huckleberry Haze IPA was delicious, just a hint of strawberry at the end. Can’t wait to come back to try more things!

The fact that they've got a dog friendly patio and a dog menu already gets a ⭐ from me! I haven't been to Lazy Dog in probably a decade but on my first visit back, I was pleasantly surprised. They've got a nice variety in their menu so there's something for everyone. I even appreciate that their drink menu is so affordable. Servers were nice enough to let me share a dish with my sister and they brought out the dish on 2 plates which were perfect sizes for us! My picky parents who only eat Asian food enjoyed the cheeseburger and pot roast sandwich. The fried chicken dinner was really good (love that maple syrup flavor on fried chicken). The dog scarfed down his burger meal too. The wait is a bit much especially on a weekend, but they at least do have reservations. Note: if you have a dog, it's better to call for a reservation in advance and not use the online system (which only sets a reservation for inside dining).

The Lazy Dog Restaurant is a good place to hang out with friends and family and the service is absolutely amazing. They provide diverse dishes for different cultures. I had a great experience on last visit and recommend this place.

Menu had viarity and lots of great food choices, food was amazing. I got pulled pork sammy, eric got pot roast, fried deviled eggs, it was all amazing with reasonable prices! Customer service was the best! Margaritas are perfect! Love this place. Our new favorite restaurant!

Excellent place to eat at. Dining inside is back and they have all the tables well spaced out. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive. The kitchen produces high quality food. Very delicious. The drinks are quite strong and well priced. The desserts are on point!

First time visitors...treated fabulously. Our server, Gabby went over menu options. I had the ahi salad and hubby had the trout. Both dishes delivered wonderful flavors. We started the meal with waffle fries. Yummy!

Came in for dinner tonight, and we were seated in a reasonable amount of time. We sat on the patio near the fire pit while waiting for a table and enjoyed watching the variety of dogs out with their owner. I had the watermelon margarita which wasn't bad. It could have been a tad bit stronger but I still enjoyed it. Our food came out quickly. One member in my party had the Bison Meatloaf (pictured) which was very good. I had the Pot Roast Beef Dip sandwich with cajun fries (delicious) and another had an All American Burger. Always good food.

I'm a regular customer. I love the New York Steak and the 750ml mimosa drink. Service is excellent especially mentioned to Pamela!

Good variety menu, and great drinks. So glad we opted to come here instead of cheesecake factory. Brussel sprouts (not pictured) was amazing. The service is very friendly and love the fact that they had a sampler for sangria, it was so hard to make a choice on everything. The waitress was quite helpful and friendly.

Kelsen was an amazing server! He was extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent service all around. He was super helpful with great suggestions, and his funny, witty personality made the experience even better. I would honestly come back just to sit at his table. Highly recommend asking for Kelsen! We've never been disappointed with Lazy Dog. This was a new location. The decor was fantastic. For starters we had the Queso Dip and Chips which was very tasty. My wife had the Kung Pao bowl and I had the 12-oz steak, along with a draft beer. Including a 20% tip the total was ~$107 Ouch, but it's 2025 and that's the new normal.

The food and services at this restaurant were exceptional. Located just outside the Cerritos Mall, the venue offers abundant parking spaces, making it convenient for diners. I barely had to wait more than a few minutes for a table, which was a pleasant surprise. I opted for the sirloin steak, and I must say, it was cooked to perfection—tender and juicy, with just the right amount of seasoning, avoiding any chewiness that can sometimes accompany less expertly prepared cuts. To finish off the meal, I indulged in their butter cake, and it was absolutely heavenly. The combination of its rich, buttery flavor and moist texture felt like a delightful treat, leaving me completely satisfied. The vibe here is very chill and fun. The service was quick and helpful. The ambiance was fun and inviting. The main disappointment was the absolute mind numbing behavior of a small child on a riding toy who tore through the walkways like a he was on a sugar high like no other! The staff just stared at this kid as if this type of atrocious behavior was the norm. Flying down the walkway, sliding into people of their dining table areas and squealing with a pacifier in his mouth. The so-called “mother” just laughed and stood there ignoring the disruption caused to their dining experience, until finally a manager walked over and stayed, “you can’t do that in here!” For 5 minutes this insanity took place while trying to enjoy our meal… 5 min, with not one of the 10 workers standing around walking over and politely informing this person of their poor parenting skills in public. Did I reduce the rating based on this experience, no, but it’s a coaching opportunity for management to teach staff how to deal with absurd parents like this. The food, well, thats where we took a small diverted turn down a road that was disappointing. If that unwarranted form of atmospheric entertainment wasn’t bad enough, we were hit with some less than exciting food pallets. The over all flavor rating of these three dishes was a meh, 6 out of 10. The biscuits with the chicken and biscuits dish were hard, flavorless and did not pair well with the chickens texture. The sauce was rather bland and did not have delicious maple flavor advertised or expecting and needing. The omelet was a decent offering and had a low amount of vegetables and was on the drier side of the desired consistency needed. The burrito had a great size to it, but again, lacked in the flavor department. The bites were followed by bites to complete the meal and not a desire to enjoy the next bite. This is what most miss the mark with on flavor combinations in food. The bite should have you yearning for the next, and that just didn’t happen here. Maybe we were a little thrown off by the pestiferous behavior that disrupted numerous guests around us. Maybe.

Lots of things to like about Lazy Dog. Good food and fast, friendly service. Their burgers are great (messy), pasta is good too. Carnitas and fish tacos are meh. Drinks are pretty good too. Fries, onion rings and sauces are good too. The bathrooms were somewhat clean. The prices are sorta what you would expect - most entrees are $20 to $25. Drinks are $5 - $10.

Never been to a lazy dog before, but would I go back?!?!? Heck ya! They had great food and the servers were excellent with exceptional drinks. I even sprung for two, since they were so good. I love the sweet drinks that don’t taste like any alcohol, so finding those unique drinks isn’t always easy. The atmosphere fabulous and quite enjoyable. We visited during late lunch hours and there was plenty of seating available, so the wait time was quite quick. The servers were very informative and checked on us quite frequently making sure we had all we needed. Then serve our whole table, but were running behind on my order of fried chicken sandwich and fries. Due to this they brought out a side of fries to hold me over, which I did give to my 16 year old wrestler who just got done with a wrestling match. Family Pride Wrestling Champs all the way. They did and up comping my sandwich meal, which was very accommodating. The sandwich was perfectly cooked and just the right amount of Cole slaw and of course to top it off an amazing pickle. Definitely, one of the best sandwiches I have had. My husband had the fish and chips and he raved about how good they were. Oh and don’t forget the fries were amazing. So crisp and delicious. Perfect is what I can only say. Thanks guys! It was a pleasure dining at my establishment.

What can I say? Just that Dan made this experience just great. We decided yesterday that we wanted to come and eat at Lazy Dog the day before. Made our reservations via google. Came in 7 mins early and was sat right away (6:23 pm - reservation 6:30pm) anyways, we got seated in Dans area. Service was great. So great that to be honest, I requested Dans schedule because he was truly great. I came in not having a Lazy Dog Beer Club membership. I am leaving with a membership. Dan, helped us understand the membership and guided us thru the process. So there was one thing that did happen but Dan helped correct it right away. The sandwich my partner ordered was missing some chicken and Dan helped correct it. Manager came over and we had nothing but good things about the whole experience and of course Dan being a great server. The whole ambience was nice with the family. We were able to enjoy our meal and we were always in communication with our server. Overall definitely coming back. Also, I asked the manager to give Dan a raise.

Came in for my first time today and I absolutely enjoyed it! The wait time was about 25 minute, but it was definitely worth it! Especially for a Friday night! Our waiter was Dan the man and he was one of the coolest waiters that I've had in a while! He made us some awesome recommendations and we were not disappointed at all! I had myself the chicken cordon blue, which was beyond good! We also ordered a flat iron steak and a fried chicken salad. We also finished home with an amazing dessert that unfortunately I wasn't able to get a picture of! 😋

We love this place. We bring our dogs here with us to eat. We have to sit outside on the patio with our dogs but it's very nice. This restaurant has a dog menue for the pups and they get to eat with us. You can choose from chicken breast veggies and white rice or brown rice or hamburger potty with veggies and white rice or brown rice. They have also bring a bowl of water for the dogs. The dogs can't get up on the furniture but they can sit outside on the ground in the patio as long as they're well behaved. It's a nice experience with pleasant service and great food! Try it out I bet you'll love it!

Service was great. Friendly and not overbearing. It is a fairly clean and friendly place. I really liked the hummus and Pita bread but they go HEAVY on the salt on the Pita and the veggies on the hummus were kinda stale.. tomatoes were soggy and smelled spoiled. The hummus is amazing though. 5 stars. As far as the food, it was good, tasty, but heavy on the grease, even the fries soaked through the paper and were dripping in oil when I squeezed them, which isn't my personal preference, but it is that kind of restaurant so be prepared in case you are caught off guard. Even the kids had the same overly greasy issue with their food like the kitchen staff didnt drain the grease off properly. Overall it's a good family style restaurant if you enjoy this kind of food and you want to take your kids and they don't exactly use their indoor dining table voice consistently lol. You can look up a menu online if you're curious about prices before visiting. And as a side note, apparently you can actually bring your dog, they have a doggie menu and you will be seated outside on the patio with your fur baby for a unique dining experience.

We came for lunch and found the “lunch menu” buried in the back of the menu. Nice options for a great price. The service was good and the food was tasty in a relaxed atmosphere. Sit, stay…eat! I can do that!!

We were able to walk in with no problem getting a table outside. I brought my service dog who is a 13 year old Pomeranian. They immediately brought him a bowl of ice water, which he adored. I ordered the chicken bowl for him. A picky eater, ate all the chicken, but left the peas carrots and rice of course. My friend got the flat iron steak and he loved it and my mother got the chicken fried salad that she liked a lot. I got the Thai salad. It was a little too spicy for me and didn't have what I expected to be peanut sauce. I had a flight of beer, that was fun. And we had a very nice dinner, really was lovely weather and the waiter was Superior. A little pricey but for a special time with our doggy with us it was worth it.

Restaurant has wheelchair entrance, lots of free parking since it is located on the mall property. It has Full Bar and patio with fire pits, at least for a dinner time it did not feel like it’s Kid or dog friendly but maybe during lunch they allow dogs on the patio (not sure about it.) It has separate W&M restrooms that were clean and spacious. Restaurant space is great for large groups as well as small intimate dining. I was really surprised how beautifully their menus are done, to me menu is a huge part of the restaurant experience and lot of five star restaurants do miss this point and offer same old boring blah menu look. My overall experience is great and if you wish more in-depth review please continue reading; It was my first time at the Lazy Dog Restaurant and bar and I truly enjoyed my dinner. It has good balance of not being too casual or formal it is somewhere in the middle and it made me comfortable. Entrance host was not nice I did not feel welcomed when I entered but rest of the experience was pretty good. Service was good nothing to complain about waiter was checking on us often, food came out fast, food presentation was great, everything we ordered tasted great. Waitress was very polite and attentive, she gave us the menu walk through, they do have huge food selection and her suggestions were really appreciated, she was checking on us and on other guests frequently and so was the Manager while we were dinning he walked around asking guests how they like their food and how was their overall experience, I honestly think that helped my positive perspective of the restaurant - it is not something I’ve seen often in a chain restaurants for a manager to be this attentive to the guests.

I am always a fan of lazy dogs as it has a vary diverse menu without losing any taste to the food. Had pot roast and it was delicious as it's served over mashed potatoes. Also had appetizer of corn dogs (5 given on stick). Was good and social distanced.

This review is for the brunch at Lazy Dog. We stopped by because the restaurant we planned to go to had a long wait time. I was pleasantly surprised by the brunch menu. I ended up getting the chilaquiles and they were delicious. The enchilada sauce was well seasoned and not too salty as most places tend to over seasoned. I could also tell the chips they used were freshly made. They also have a great brunch DIY Mimosa Flight. They gave us a bottle of champagne and we got 3 different juices: peach-raspberry, grapefruit-orange, & huckleberry. Overall it was a very relaxing and fun experience. Ambiance: We sat on the patio as it was nice out. The cushions and little pillows were comfortable and added a nice decorative element. Service: We were seated pretty quickly after we arrived and our server was very nice. She gave us really good advice and stopped us from over ordering. Great choice for a bar place in cerritos. They check you in quickly but there is always a wait of about 10+ minutes at the table before you get acknowledged. Wide selection of alcoholic drinks and quick bites. Better than the restaurant across over all. Great for dates and a movie after a meal. Updated 2/11/19 Service is still great along with the atmosphere. Highly recommend this place. Updated 4/1/19. Bar does not hold on weekends and their service drops 3 stars. We were told by the person greeting us that happy hour started just to hear the server told us happy hour had ended. When asked about it, waiter was rude and felt like he was doing us a favor. It is lbecause waiters and waitresses like this that restaurants lose business. Main dishes cane out before appetizers and waiter didn't really care. Sad... I would recommend going weekdays but weekends are a disaster.

Pot Roast Beef Dip: 17.95 Soft meat. Good bread. It was top notch. Not much of a wait on Saturday afternoon for group of five.

We go here with our grandma regularly. She loves this place and one of the waitress is her favorite. Ribs are usually good but last time it was too dry and hard. The onion rings are the best.

Service and atmosphere are great here, but my wife and I agree that the burgers, and noodles are most likely the best out of all the food here. Outside of those the price of other food is very high, along with smaller portions.

This is the kind of place that lulls you in with cozy lodge vibes and then absolutely shows off once the food hits the table. The chicken pot pie is pure comfort food theater: golden, flaky crust on top, creamy savory filling underneath, and the kind of rich, soul-hugging warmth that makes you want to cancel your plans and commit to a life of carbohydrates. Then there’s the sea bass, which somehow manages to be elegant and comforting at the same time, perfectly tender and buttery with that clean, delicate flavor that makes you slow down for a second and pretend you have refined taste before going right back to demolishing it. Together, it’s the ultimate dinner plot twist: one dish says “wrap me in a blanket,” the other says “I summer in coastal Europe,” and somehow both work beautifully.

This place was a 1st for me. Cabin lodge type of decor. Staff very friendly. On this day was busy but efficient. Food was good, hot and flavored. It's a bit fancy eatery for me in the sense of pairing of ingredients with entrees, but food did not disappoint.

Food was good, but service wasn't so good. Four out of five orders came out at different times. Waitress forgot to refill iced tea for one in our party, then when the person had to ask she refilled with lukewarm tea, no ice. Then she asked us if we were ready for dessert... We hadn't even finished half of our food. Then she brought our check when we didn't even ask for it. Mind you this was before dinner rush and the place wasn't full. Only giving three stars for food, which was good. Service one star. Appetizers (mini corn dogs n sweet potato tots) were delicious by the way!

Update. 2/2022 there is a substantial improvement in the service, cleanliness and the food is consistently the same. The food was good. Service a bit slow. The bathroom ruined my appetite. It's unfortunate that during a time like COVID, cleaning up has taken a backseat. I could hear a woman in the bathroom telling her child not to touch anything because it so dirty. I hope COVID hasn't dropped their standards for cleanliness.

Great atmosphere, good pup menu, food looked so yummy… it is hmm unique but really just edible, that’s it, edible. Friendly but very extremely slow and forgetful service. They literally forgot about us after seating. Not worth $100 even slightly.

Not very satisfied. Pros: Service was good. The server made a great effort to make sure our needs were taken care of and even placed pressure on the kitchen when they delayed the meal of one of our party members. Also, food taste good and is above average in quality. Cons: Some of the Happy Hour portions are significantly smaller than the regular portions and you're not really getting a deal if paying less equals getting less. An item that was disappointing enough to stand out were the Sweet Potato Tator Tots. Though the taste was good, it was disappointing to find out that the cup the tator tots were served in was not completely filled. It was sized just smaller than a small soft drink and it was half filled with wax paper. Appetizers are in general considered shareable menu items but this was not the case. Unfortunately the serving size was enough for just one person. The disappointing part was that it was being passed of as more by stuffing half the container with wax paper.

Lazy dog is decent but it comes with a price. I got the bbq ranch burger and it was really good, the meat needed some more seasoning but overall a great messy burger. The onion rings were honestly not crispy but they had a good flavor. The biscuit and gravy were okay as well. You know what stole the show? The fries. Honestly one of the better sit down fries I’ve eaten they’re extremely crispy and delicious, and it honestly made it that much better. The servers were extremely friendly and the place was clean. Each meal including drinks (btw the lemonade was fantastic) was about 25 dollars each which really pricey for what it is. I would come back for the fries and that’s not even a joke they were honestly really good. Overall 6/10.

All of the car spots for take out were full and the txt said to respond here and park close if all spots are full and an employee will still come out. I saw the employee walk out with my order and only check the numbered car spots and then walk back inside. Didn’t try to even look for my car at all. This shouldn’t be an option if they don’t put in the effort. I had to walk in to get my order. Try harder and use problem solving skills please.

Not all locations are created the same. I've had Lazy Dog in the San Gabriel Valley and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had with my dog. At this site, the fish was overly greasy, my dog didn't get brown rice(despite it being listed on the dog menu), the candied bacon was neither spicy, sweet and kinda burnt. So many things went wrong that I'm actually kinda surprised. I should have gone to Chipotle across the street instead.

Our server was not personable at all. She could have visited us more than once to ask if we needed refills (which I would have loved) instead of asking if we needed boxes then immediately walking away. The plates and empty glasses piled up on the table as well. Kudos to the bartender and chefs. Will not be dining at this location again. Mr. Nelson has work to do. Staff/servers should be asking if their guests are involved with any Lazy Dog clubs not the other way around.

“pad thai”.. noodles were undercooked, hard. the shrimp was over cooked. i ordered it with chicken, i didn’t find one piece of chicken. full of overcooked tofu.

Food looks great but for medium well I felt like I was eating beef jerky with how burnt it was. The “poached” eggs was a hard boiled egg cut in half. And the manager has the audacity to tell me their foods usually “on point” where the whole tables food was overcooked or burned. Never coming back

Probably the worst experience I've had in awhile I got the wings as an app and not the best at all ranch pouring over the ramican with sauce dripping off the plate looks like it was just thrown on there with no care for presentation I over looked it hoping my main dish was gonna be better. I went ahead and ordered the fish tacos completely bland no flavor and no I don't got covid lol My girlfriend got the American burger it was better then the fish tacos for sure .overall experience basically sucked .won't come back for the food that's forsure.

I was seriously considering joining the Lazy Dog membership, but after our visit tonight, I’ve completely lost interest. While the manager was professional and made an effort to engage with both me and my boyfriend—offering complimentary fries and a card for a future appetizer—our server’s behavior was flat-out disrespectful. From the moment she approached our table, she directed all her attention toward my boyfriend, greeting only him and asking when he had last visited—as if I wasn’t even there. It didn’t stop there. When she returned to take our order, she asked if we wanted to keep a menu. My boyfriend said yes, so I reached up to hand her mine—and she yanked it out of my hand. No eye contact, no ‘thank you,’ nothing. It felt rude and completely unnecessary. As someone who works in customer service, I was shocked by the lack of basic courtesy. Hospitality isn’t just about bringing food—it’s about making everyone at the table feel welcome and respected. Unfortunately, this experience did the opposite, and it was enough to make me walk away from considering a membership altogether.

We drove 3 hours and made a reservation. They were hosting a beer club on the patio. We had dogs with us us so we had to sit on the patio and the guy running the beer event made us feel so unwelcome because we had to be sit there and had such an issue with it he talked to the manager about it in front of us. My mom felt so unwelcome and anxious she couldn’t eat because of him. So sad that this was our experience so far from where we live.

I used to love coming to this place but my recent visit was disappointing. The prices are extremely high for what you get, and the portion sizes were very small, definitely not worth the cost. I left still feeling hungry, which shouldn't happen after paying that much for a meal. Overall, the food and portion sizes don't justify the expensive prices, and I don't plan on returning

The hostess were extremely rude and unprofessional. The outside waiters were not paying attention to their tables because they were all occupied with one table, giving a group of 4 men all their attention. We come to this location at least 2-4 times a month and what we experienced this past sunday was nothing short of a nightmare from the staff. Also... it doesn't matter if youre a campfire member or not. They still won't seat you any sooner than the rest. Luckily the downey location is never like this and far more professional. Cooperate should really take a look at the mess thats being run there!

I used to really like this place but now I think some items are just frivolous with cost vs. value. For example, the Chicken Katsu Sando was the biggest rip-off I've ever experienced in any restaurant. It was not only miniscule, but also dry and flavorless. It looked like something that would be served as a school lunch. Photo of this $17.50 disappointment posted below.
