Excellent food and friendly service
Very very good food with great service make a awesome experience. clean Restaurant you can tell the owner cares about the quality of food and service they provide. We will be back soon.
Our go to Chinese restaurant for many years. Sold to a new owner about a year ago. Much to our surprise, the food is even better! Service is great. Quick seating always.
Love this place! My husband and I have been going here for over 10 years now. The food is delicious & the prices are great. The service can be a little slow when they're busy, but well worth the wait.
Tasty food! Great service with a smile. Family style sit down Chinese restaurant. Dishes are fresh tasting and yummy. We always get Wonton soup, Orange chicken, combination fried rice & combination chow mein and are never disappointed. Another delicious go-to that we get from time to time is the combination Kung Pao.
I went to this charming little restaurant with my mother for lunch the other day. The food was nice and hot. They put plenty on your plate. We couldn't eat it all. This was our first time here. We enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken and the egg rolls. Even the sauce tasted homemade. The shrimp is lightly breaded. If you like hot mustard sauce. Ooo this sauce is 🔥♨️ 🔥 really good, but very spicy. Don't do like I did, lol 😆 it only takes a very little bit. Get ready to drink plenty of water, lol. It was a nice family owned restaurant. We wanted to try something a little different than PE. The pricing is very reasonable and the service was friendly.
Despite all the negative reviews, I gave this place a try and shall say I was impressed. Only thing was service being a bit slow due to only 2 waitress and having a full restaurant along with plenty of to-go orders. Food was great, I ordered orange chicken which was awesome since it's crispy and not sweet. Magnolias beef which was reallllly food also and the honey walnut shrimp. All of these dishes were Great, I truly recommend. The combo rice I thought was a bit dry and the combo noodle had more veggies than noodles but were great.
This place has real great authentic food love the people there however they are not currently open and they are relocating to a new address on South Street in Cerritos
My first time here. The food is served family style and that's great because you get to taste everything. We ordered Mongolian beef, orange chicken and almond chicken. My favorite was the orange chicken - crispy and sweet. We also ordered the house fried rice and lo mein with beef, chicken and shrimp. These are really good. You could eat it by itself. Definitely recommend.
This place is located in a strip mall, but don't be fooled by that. It has THE BEST Chinese and Chinese-American food!!!! You can tell the food is authentic, everything from the tea to the orange chicken to the broccoli beef to the garlic shrimp. The menu is HUGE, over 100+ dishes. The dishes aren't super sweet or spicy like most other Chinese places, and the beef and shrimp are perfectly cooked. The chow mein is also perfect, it isn't greasy at all like other restaurants. The atmosphere is also very pleasant, very quiet with excellent decor. If you're looking for Chinese definitely try this one. Closed Mondays.
I had a great experience with my family having lunch. It’s one of the best local Chinese food restaurants in the area. I usually drive about 13 miles to and from Torrance to get food this good and I’m glad I found a local place. Thank you keep up the great work.
We've been going her since the 80's. Best Chinese food in town. Going to miss the place when they close all the business in that center for some new construction. I hope they re-open somewhere else. We love all the staff, food & simple ambiance 💗
The food is amazing and fresh! The servers are extremely kind and pleasant. This place never disappoints.
Delicious!!! Friendly service! Our family shared a delicious hot, quick and flavorful meal. We ordered Beef on a Stick, Shrimp Fried Rice, Beef Mongolian, Orange Chicken, Lemon chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, and Egg Drop soup. So good!! We are out of town guests, otherwise, we would be back!
Ordered the hot and sour so . My goodness. So refreshing and tasty. The 107. Kung-Pao Three Flavor shrimp and new Peking 36. New Peking Special Chicken were also mind blowing! The best we have eaten. Thank you!
We had a nice experience here. The restaurant dining area and bathrooms were very clean. The food was tasty and presented well. The servers were attentive and friendly. This place seems like a hardworking family-owned business.
I was craving soup and stopped by New Peking for the first time and ordered the egg flower soup and garlic chicken with only onions. They were delicious! The soup was a clear broth, not thickened up with corn starch and stayed hot until I got home. The chicken was excellent quality and a big serving for take out. I will return!
Have been going for 13yrs. Excellent! Love the Orange chicken, and Sweet and sour pork. Rice is cooked just the way l like it. Tea is always really hot. Cooked apple on a stick is a taste dessert.
Our family has been dining here for over 10 years. The food is delicious, the prices are very competitive and the service is excellent. It is hard to beat their lunch special prices. Jerry (owner) always makes us feel welcome and at home.
Great service. They have delicious fried rice, chow fun, chow main, and sweet and sour chicken. Their wonton soup is very good too. Ambiance is a little dated, but the food is delicious.
Had the mandarin dinner special for 2, it was really good plus we had leftovers to take home. Good food, reasonable price especially considering we had enough food for 3 to 4 adults. Go eat there, it's worth it.
The staff is very friendly very attentive to your needs and the food is a Awesome all the way around Awesome! Perfect temperatures perfect servings Great taste! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
I just found my new Chinese restaurant AMAZING!!!! Trust me...I wouldn't just say that cuz I'm picky when it comes to authentic Chinese food. This is absolutely amazing!!! Your boss needs to hire a bus boy so the only two servers can give the best service!!! Servers should not be busing tables.
I love this food. It's always fresh and flavorful. I buy this every week and basically eat it for lunch at work. They give you great portions so you can have leftovers. Btw this as a leftover is good too.
Moved to a new location. Great food! Chicken with sizzling rice soup is delicious. The chicken fried rice is also delicious. Will definitely be returning to this place. Highly recommended.
Food & service was amazing !! Highly recommend Mongolian beef 🤤
As you enter everything is clean and organized. The foods flavor is authentic...The staff is very friendly always attentive...I had the green beans, mo golian beef and corn soup...Very good portions! ~The Filipino
So delicious foods!!! MY FRIEND BRING ME HERE AND LOVE IT. Service is really good too!!
Delicious fresh cooked Chinese food. Owners are very friendly. Great service. Entree portions are larger than normal for family style dining.
Food tastes great. Service is good. The place is clean & well kept.
If you're looking for the best chinese food experience in Long beach, this place is it! Old favorites as well as some unique dishes. Not fancy and not overpriced, but the food is of the best quality! The egg fu Yung is the best I've had anywhere, same goes for the walnut shrimp and the bbq pork fried rice. Salt & pepper squid is spectacular, and the orange chicken makes panda express's version taste like trash. So highly recommended
This is pretty good! The portions are very generous; perfect for a family sized meal
Yup, this is Chinese food, great value! I think the food would have tasted 2x better if I ate at the restaurant if it was crispy. Chicken chow mein, orange chicken, salt and pepper pork, small order of hot and sour soup. Total ended up at $46, to go order. Chow mein was just ok, I thought the noodles were a little too soft. Weird choice of zucchini and broccoli in it. Orange chicken was really good though! If Panda Express is your bench mark, I'd say it tastes more like General Tso's chicken over orange chicken. Just a hint of tangy, flavored well, but that was exactly what I wanted. Salt and pepper pork was great! The pork was really tender and seasoned well. The "small" wasn't a small at all! It's a full size deli container of soup. There's enough in there to have 4 rice bowls of soup. I think this came with fried noodle bits to throw in there. I think it was the chow mein noodles, I really liked this! Lightly sour, and mild. But it sure hit the spot. We also got a complimentary box of white rice and 4 fortune cookies. Again, value is all there. It was probably a meal for 5-6 with all that's there. I was told 30 minutes on the phone to pick up... It was probably much sooner than that and I missed the window of crispiness. Next time I want Chinese American food, I'll be coming back! Parking was easy, there's a lot that's pretty empty. I got there at 7pm on a Wednesday night and there was 1 table occupied (probably to-go is more popular?)
Fantastic portions. You get your money’s worth. Classic, Chinese American restaurant with an old school feel.
Really great & tasteful Chinese restaurant! The service here is excellent off the top, decent prices, food is simply amazing 👍💯

Loved the orange chicken and the thai iced tea. Both are the best compared to any others I've had! Almost went to another place but I'm happy to have stopped here.
This place’s food is so good. I recommend all of you guys going here because it’s reasonable price, and very delicious. Especially, the chicken and shrimp were so tasty, and has a texture? It’s very plump. The fish there was also good. Also the atmosphere was just like,, good, there were a lot of Chinese people so it’s authentic. The speed of the food that came out was kinda slow and late, but it was worth it. It was also had a very a lot of amount for each dish too, we ordered like 4 main dish and it cost us like $80
Our favorite Chinese restaurant to go to when we have family gatherings or just want some takeout. Friendliest workers, very hard working. It seems to be a family owned, small business, which is a rare thing to find nowadays. Been going since their previous location and wish them the best of luck at this new location.

This place has been around for a while. They have a lunch special which is a very good portion for one and you can easily take home half. I just needed to try the Mongolian beef since I've been craving it. Lunch special comes with an egg flower or hot&sour soup, a fried dumpling and rice/fried rice with your entree. Also to check out the prices since the menu had not been updated in the posts I've seen. So here it is. If you want try this place out, food is not bad. Let's say comfort food when you need it. Prices are updated on the pictures I'm posting. Enjoy 😉
The kung pao beef was delicious. We also tried the Korean Sweet and Sour Pork and my husband loved it. The restaurant is nice and quiet and the customer service is good.

Service was rushed, didn't explain menu items when asked, food brought out ine item at a time (got cold wait8ng for other items). Loud, seated all customers together, had to wait for bill and to go boxes.
There used to be Another Peking Panda on 183rd, but they closed about 3 years ago & they were delicious from A to z. We Thought they had reopened here, but this Peking Panda is not the same. Here some of the food was good some of it was not so good, the chili was old so we had to ask him for some Sriracha which they brought out from the refrigerator. All in all it was not great and the restaurant looked old and run down and the lights were flickering it was okay but we most likely will not be back.
Food was decent and workers are very nice but they did not acknowledge me when I walked in and had to go find them to my out order in for sit down.

Just there tonight and service and food lousy! Been many times before and never have we been greeted by an owner. Service was not only slow it was not hot. Even tea was warm. Arrive table of two seated immediately then a party of six after us was seated and served before us. Asked for lemon for water twice and extra napkins never received.
We have been coming to this place for over 25 years, when the original owner sold the restaurant the quality of the food gradually went down. Last week was the final straw, the food was so bad that we had to throw it out. It was a pleasure using that restaurant for the last 25 years we will never go back.
This restaurant used to be really good but not anymore. Ordered black bean noodle, it was less than ok. Sweet/sour pork was really bad. Meat had lot of fat, smelled & outer coating was burnt really bad (seems like they reuse oil for frying without changing it often):(
I usually try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but after today’s visit, I’ve decided that I won’t be returning. The staff were generally friendly, which I appreciated, but unfortunately the food was extremely disappointing. The jjamppong looked spicy because of its red color, but the broth tasted very bland and lacked any depth of flavor. The black bean noodles were honestly the worst I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what ingredients are used, but the taste was far from what I expected. In addition, there was a strong spice or seasoning that I don’t normally encounter in Chinese food, which may not be suitable for people who are sensitive to spices. Since I was dining with my children, we ordered several dishes, including orange chicken, but overall we felt that the quality did not match the price. It left us feeling quite disappointed.
Waited 20 minutes before they took our order, 24 minutes before we got our food, got moved from table to table during the first 30 minutes. They shouldn't have sat us if they were going to move us, we could have tried korean bbq nearby instead. Wouldn't have mind waiting if the food was worth waiting for. Ordered eggrolls 1/5 (5 spices used on the cabbage, jack in the box egg rolls taste better than those), sizzling rice soup 3/5, too much pepper was used, but it was the best thing there other than the cans of coke), braised green beans 1/5 - sour from their heavy use of garlic from a jar), salt and pepper calamari 1/5 - super hard and dry, no salt on them, shrimp fried rice 1/5- tasteless, no wok flavor, mushy shrimps (sat in defrosted water). Disappointing experience to say the least.
I stopped in to place a "To go" order and i'm still standing at counter. This is rude and unexceptable. I announced that I wanted to place a Togo order and No one even greeted me or said "I'll be with you". They ate standing right in gront of me busy organizing their checks. I have been eating here for over 30 years and the new owners have terrible customer service. Gave them time then I Walked out.

It is not operated by korean Chinese who knows what is black bean noodle(jajang mein).....sweat & Sour pork(tang su kuk) was bad pork( it is like baking soda pork ball). NOT RECOMMENDED FOR KOREANS AT LEAST.
