l&L in Cerritos has always been good quality food and customer service. I hate to say, but their spam misubi is even better than local Hawaiian spots near my area. I’ve gotten them to cater my parties several times over the last year and friends and family always comment how good it is compared to other places. I will and have always recommended this specific location

Great place to start your Polynesian/Hawaiian fix. The spam musubi is spectacular. The Kailua pork combo and bbq como are great.

Food was excellent, no complaints there. Also the girl that took my order was very sweet and friendly. They lose one star because it took about 20 minutes to receive my food and there were only two people ahead of me. To sum up, Great food, friendly service but do yourself a favor and bring some headphones or a book for the wait time

Friendly service! We ordered the seafood and BBQ chicken plates. The food was fresh, and hot, with great portions. My only complaint is that they monitor your sauce containers by only giving customers access to the lids. (You have to ask for the bottom half).

Originally went to Cold Stone Creamy to do a late night ice cream run but ended up being persuaded by my five year old daughter to get L & L as well. Even though it being 10/15 minutes till closing L & L didn't disappoint. Food tasted fresh and hot off the grill. Next ice cream run we are definitely getting a quick bite to eat as well.

A little on the expensive side for a non restaurant type place. 2 plates cost $25 and without drinks BUT food was cooked fresh and was pretty darn good. Unfortunately it's in a strip mall, so unless you don't mind a good walk.. Good luck trying to get a prime parking spot near the door. It's not a place I'd go to too often but definitely somewhere I'd go again as a treat myself.

On Uber Eats I cant add utensils to my order. It’s also disabled to add any note for the restaurant. Also I can’t get through on the phone. I’m gonna be pretty pissed off trying to eat with my bare hands.

My only gripe with this location is the setup of the restaurant. They made it so their kitchen and counter is in the middle of the space, so it's open in the front by the door, and then narrow in the "ordering area." So, navigating from the front to the back of the restaurant can be a little annoying when having to move around a line of people waiting to order food. I always love getting the BBQ combo of short ribs, beef, and chicken. Always marinated well, and just the right tender. It can be a little frustrating at times, because sometimes the meat they serve up is very fatty, so the actual amount of meet you get on the short ribs or beef, can be less than what you actually see. I would definitely come back here.

The service is insanely slow and they ask you to wait outside, but there's no speaker system to tell you when your order's ready. In addition, there's some well-meaning but slow employee who constantly closes the door during hot days to keep the AC in, which means everyone who waits outside can't hear their order, causing people to constantly come in and check if their order number was called. Absolutely inneficient and this is all because the owner skimps on a speaker system and one specific employee keeps closing the door. They also cook quite slow compared to other L&L branches I've been to. Dislike coming here.

The food is mid. If this was my introduction to L and L I'd probably never return unfortunately this location is the closest to my home, I'll don't to another location next time. Long Beach and Willow and Torrance has way better quality food. The bbq beef didn't come chopped and it's more like bbq beef jerky with no flavor. It's super thin like milanessa.

The food was decent. The worker girl taking orders at the front register was very nice. My only problem is the owner/manager of this location. He was extremely rude during my last visit. After me and my wife finished our meal, I went over to the front desk (where he was) and politely asked for a To-Go Bag for our leftovers. He straight up ignored me and didn't even look at my direction, despite him being right in front of me and clearly hearing me say "excuse me, can I have a bag please." I stood there for about 10 seconds, getting angrier and angrier as he just stood there ignoring me, so I just walked away and left the restaurant with my wife to calm myself from causing a public scene. I know it's not a big deal, but that man's professionalism with customers was disgusting, especially with him being the manager/owner of the location, but nevertheless this experience made me never want to buy anything from this location ever again.

Been a while since I ate here, use to be the best l&l location, but this time it is NOT, food was horrible, there was no flavor at all whatsoever, no taste, I usually get my bbq mix plate. Portion downsized a lot, the chicken was partially raw, their mac. salad was blan, no flavor OVERALL. My husband got sick after we ate the food, I don't recommend, find another location and save your money...will not be returning!

There is an L&L by my house which I love going to, but this one was nothing like that. I ordered Spam Misubi for my lunch break and waited 25 minutes until I had to go up and ask the employee if it was ready. Once he was finished talking to his co workers he checked my receipt and stuffed my food into a bag and handed it to me. I wasted that time there where my order was forgotten about and all i got was a smug "sorry" as I walked out. First and only time going to this location.

I ate here last night and I’ve had diarrhea all morning. Something told me to walk away after I ordered my food and I didn’t listen to my gut. The owner was up front sniffing and sneezing but he wasn’t near the preparation of food so I didn’t trip. Never again

I dunno what it was. Maybe it’s this particular location, because other L&L’s I’ve been too are so much better. This one was stingy with their meet and the Katsu was hard and dry. In the BBQ mix, we only got one short rib, 1 small, thin slice of beef and a small piece of chicken. Very disappointed and won’t be coming back to this location. I’ll stick to Long Beach and Lomita.

GO the L&L in Norwalk Make that extra 5min drive because they are extremely nice and it's always full of people for a reason. and Actually want you to come back. NEVER COMING BACK HERE!!

Don't waste your time. Came in ordered chicken katsu curry and seafood mix, and was very disappointed. Seafood mix was $12 and only came with one small fish with 3 small shrimp and one scoop rice and Mac salad. Their a total RIP off, you don't even get your money's worth. I should of went to Ono' s Hawaiian BBQ. They'll give your more for your dollar.

Very very very very slooooow service. They only have one speed.... slooooow. If there's 5 orders ahead of you, you'll be waiting for 30 minutes. If you know what you want, better call them and do a phone order for to go. For dine in, I guess you have to wait awhile depending on how busy it is. I've been to a lot of L&L Hawaiian Barbecue place and this location is NOT GENEROUS in terms of their servings. In other locations, their mini is good for 2 person. In this Cerritos location, their mini is really a mini and their regular is equivalent to a mini from other L&L. You won't get that generous serving here. Sorry but I'm just starting my observation since I've visited quite a number of L&L locations already.

I've lived in Cerritos for more than 16 years and have been coming to this location. And the service has gone down. The lady "Lesly" at the front doesn't seem to energetic nor happy to even work, and the cooks take a long time to prepare the food and I've been to different locations of L&L from Cypress, Anaheim, and Irvine.

Had the chicken katsu and it was supe dry, like all the other reviews say. Wish I would of seen the reviews before i picked this establishment. After i ordered i noticed there was chicken sitting in a container on a cart and it was still there after leaving. Hopefully they were going to throw it away and not use it. Overall save your money and go somewhere else. Update: 10 minutes after posting review and eating there. Made it to the Del Amo Starbucks just in time. Yeah don't go there i must of had some of that left out chicken. Starbucks bathrooms on del Amo are clean just in case you can't make it home in time.

The customer service was great but the food was so bad. I’m sorry. I go to the one in Long Beach a lot and it’s so fresh And delicious. My chicken was extremely chewy and had an old taste to it. I tried to use my air fryer and add the katsu cause but the chicken honestly tasted that bad. The location in Long Beach takes a very long time but my food is consistently fresh. I’m going to be calling today and asking for a refund. I still have almost all of the chicken left. My boyfriend warned me that not all locations taste the same but I just wanted to prove him wrong and try this spot out for the first time. Huge regret. I should have looked at the reviews before ordering 🤷🏾‍♀️. Lesson learned.

I’ve eaten at several L&L’s as it’s one of my favorite spots to eat. I don’t write reviews often but I must say this place was thoroughly disappointing. The bar be que chicken was over cooked and tasted tough like beef jerky. The rice and Mac were bland and flavorless. I may be spoiled as my local L & L in Torrance serves gigantic portions and they are very flavorful.

I ordered the bbq chicken and katsu combo and the chicken was not good. It was burnt, katsu was extra crispy with no meat. Macaroni salad had to much onions. To bad I was already home when I realized how horrible the food was or else I would ask for a refund. Never again at this place.

Just waited 35 minutes for them to make a 2 dish meal, and can't cancel the order because it's on grubhub. We'll you just lost a customer for life because you guys are lazy as hell...

Giving one star because girl at front had excellent service but my party tray was horrible. Chicken was over cooked and bbq beef was undercooked. No flavor. i think he forgot to season or gave us old meat. Love L and L but not be returning to this location.

I usually love coming here. I eat about twice a month here but yesterday 5/28/20 was a disappointment. I ordered the half rib half beef. And the meat had no flavor. They usually give me a good amount of teriyaki sauce and yesterday they gave me a little container for my entire food. I honestly felt cheated of my normal experience/ expectation. I guess I'm going to have to try the one in norwalk and see if they are better.

Chicken BBQ plate was flavorless. The teriyaki sauce tasted like nothing and the sarachai sauce was definitely mixed with water (no doubt in my mind). Overall ruined my Sunday lunch. I would never go again.

1. For seafood combo, The amount of fried fish was like a paper thin & dried. 2. I added tips on my payment but on the receipt it was not indicated. How can I not recieve a perper receipt of the amount I spent?

I am very dissatisfied with the chicken katsu. It was over cooked, hard to chew, and had no taste. I was only able to eat like 3 of the pieces. This was the case for all 3 of my chicken katsu’s I ordered. Needless to say I won’t be coming to this location.

I visited this location with high expectations but left very disappointed. The food quality was poor, and the portion sizes were surprisingly small for a “large” plate.
