Opinions de Marigny Market Chalmette
Let me start by saying: I love this place! They are like a WholeFoods Market but in Louisiana and have everything you can think of from fresh sushi to a variety of baked goods. There is a good balance between the amount of fresh made food and groceries in this store and everything is put in sustainable packaging! For the most part: great, comfy store.
Excellent assortment of fresh hot food along with your groceries
Very friendly staff, and I enjoyed shopping here and getting a few items to take home. I just wish I had more time to get my crawfish hot
A Great Neighborhood Gem. This Gourmet Market has everything you need, want and love. So many upscale local item to choose from. I go here for all my grocery needs and forvthose specialty items that are hard to find.

Love this store. The staff is wonderful and the prepared take-out is delicious.
Absolutely incredible local market. The butcher department really know what they’re doing. I want to say his name was Jodi? Had everything figured out and made the best recommendations despite being busy with other tasks because of thanksgiving madness. Took his time with me and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Produce was fresh and plentiful and even had my wife’s favorite sparkling water. This is the only place I’ll buy meat from now and would encourage you to do the same!
Great place for shopping needs. It's tucked in so don't miss it. Cheese selection it top notch. Wine selection is great. Hot foods available on site ready to pick and choose for yourself.
Great prices on choice cuts of beef, a the wide selection of food items for a local market. I appreciate you try to keep the prices down and run specials often. The associates are friendly and the in house chefs offer up some of the best made New Orleans foods in the hot food section. Those are incredible dishes, fried fish, oven baked chicken, greens, cornbread dressing, peach cobler, bread pudding, you all get the picture. Additionally, I'm enjoying the fresh sushi. Thank you Robert's for providing a consitent quality shopping and eating expereince.
We picked up a catering order on Friday for an event with our crew. We ordered the food on Tuesday and requested a 10 am pickup time. Robert's texted me that it was ready at about 9:30 am. When I arrived at the store they were in the process of packaging the food. The employees were super friendly. We ordered chicken tenders and mac and cheese. I have to admit, it may be the best fried chicken I've ever had. And a couple of people said the same. So good! We highly recommend. Thank you Robert's for making our event a success!
Good market. Stopped here to grab some spring water before heading back to my air b & b.

Robert’s is a unique grocery in New Orleans, not that big but everything is very fresh. The produce and everything they sell is top quality!
A pinch pricey but they have a hot bar of food AGAIN pricey! They smoke chicken here! I am ready for Thanksgiving of what they offer!!! Robert lower your prices please! Great place to shop and eat !
Good selection of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and other groceries. Has a liquor store inside as well as wine. The staff is helpful and friendly.
Picked up, fried fish, macaroni and cheese; avocado halves salad. All was great! Thanks, for a fast warm meal.
The food is amazing. It sucks that they close down half the registers at 6:30 every night. Spend so much time in line because of it.
This has become my local grocery store. There is a great selection for cold and delicious the bar is usually filled often. Staff is helpful. Do wish there were more hygienic products for women. Other than that we have always enjoyed Robert's 😉
Nice atmosphere. Pleasant and attentive staff. Music is nice as always!

Great small grocery store in a part of town that desperately needs one. Been here for years. Parking lot is a little funky, prices are not as cheap as some of the bigger stores, but lines are usually short (unless there's a festival/ event in the quarter) and the store is very clean. I recommend this to a lot of folks who need more than the Rouses on Royal can provide.
I work in the area 3 to 4 days a week. Stop at Robert‘s frequently in between the breakfast and lunch switch . Two registers open, I waited in line for about 15 minutes because the lady in front of me wanted to use her EBT card for a purchase of a dollar and some change I offered to pay and they said, the worker said she just could not ring up the item properly I waved down the manager and told him this is your department, where you should assist because there’s two registers open and now there’s a long line because of this one customer. I just don’t understand how it’s that difficult , if there’s a trouble with a customer, you pull her to the side and assist her differently so that way the line doesn’t get longer And every single person in that line had just received a hot plate, obviously to eat for breakfast or lunch Two people in front of me actually left their plates there and walked out Get it together Robert’s

I live in the Bywater neighborhood for 25 years and frequently spend my hard-earned money here because of convenience. I leave angry frequently lately because of the grumpy, unhappy checkout clerks. They can’t be bothered to say hello or be pleasant, not a single thank you has been uttered. Personnel at the Robert’s uptown is more professional. I also come home with expired foods, so be sure to check carefully. The chillers sweat and drip. The only reason for a third star is because the prepared foods and food bars have improved in the past six months. Life is too short to be unpleasant; we have jobs, and people are purchasing from us, can we be pleasant and appreciative of each other’s time and money?
Robert UN-Fresh Market Marigny has neglected the exterior drains until the anaerobic gas is choking. Management knew about the drain issue and chose to wait until the compactor was scheduled to be moved instead of paying for the extra trip charge. Decisions by the management to wait to address the issue is creating a health hazard. A grocer brand touting FRESH in their name has all but destroyed public confidence. The food bar is now inundated with flies as well as the transfer of smell on the carts remains a reminder of the problem as you shop. It is with deep regret we hear from tourists how putrid the experience is and the association w Robert’s Unfresh Market to that of the New Orleans trip!
My first experience with this family owned chain left a lot to be desired. I liked the small community feel of the store but I expected more from this chain. Flow was all confusing, very limited choices and prices were higher than expected.
I shop there at least 3 to 4 times a week. I find that the cashiers are very rude. They never say thank you how was everything did you find everything you needed. Tonight I went in at about 7:00 to find out they've closed the front cashiers and only had two cashiers on the other side open. I waited a good 20 to 30 minutes before I could get through the line. I am not a happy customer at this point. If this continues I will actually just go across the street to Walgreens pay more but get more friendly service. The prices are extreme and I think that something should be done to fix this situation. I always see management walking around but never helping. Customer service is the first thing and the most important thing in any business. I have yet to see any customer service anywhere in the store. I did ask one clerk if they had any more pizzas in the back that were on sale and they said if there are not out then they're already out very very very rude.

This is the worst grocery store I think I’ve ever been to. Extremely limited selection (they don’t carry sushi rice…?), more expensive than Whole Foods but worse quality, and this store in particular is just disgusting (half drank bottles of Snapple on the shelves). This place is atrocious.
Went there at 6:30 tonight. My goal was to buy 1 loaf of bread and a lottery ticket. I’ve been a regular customer since the old Robert’s. I’ve lived 2 1/2 blocks away for the last 26 years. I made it a point to get there on time to buy my lottery ticket. When I asked why I couldn’t buy a lottery ticket, I was told because the girl wanted to go home. I explained that I come every week to get my tickets. The manager said he doesn’t have anybody to work the lottery. I said, as a manager you should do that then (I’ve been in management for 25/plus yrs.) I then brought up my friend Roy who’s been managing there for years and he said “ I’m above Roy”. Well, your Adonis is the absolute worst manager I’ve ever encountered in that location. If he stays, I go! I will also make a formal complaint with the lottery commission and hopefully they will revoke your license.
