Special dinner with family, food delicious and great wine selection! Waitress was friendly and attentive to when to check on us. Reasonable prices for upscale dining. Will be back when we get back to Arizona.

In Chandler on business, we were headed to a nearby restaurant for dinner that had a huge wait, we decided on a whim to try Cooper’s Hawk, what a gift of fortune. The atmosphere was great, the customer service was top notch and the food was amazing. I ordered the Trio Of Medallions, all Parmesan-Crusted, with Mary’s potatoes and the Candied Bacon. Don’t judge, I needed protein. They recommended pair it with Winemaker’s Barrel Reserve. The wine was perfect, went well with the meal. For dessert we ordered the Reese’s Ice Cream Cookie and the S’More Budino to share, there were five of us. The desserts were both great. I’ll be in Chandler again on business next year and will definitely plan to have dinner here.

Amazing ambiance and service. Enjoyed the smashed Hawaiian Sliders, Lobster Bisque and Beef Medallions with Betty style potatoes and steamed asparagus. Tried the Sangria Flight. Strawberry Fields was the best.

The wine tasting before reservation can get busy but wait for a spot and worth it. Signed up for a membership since made tasting free. Highly recommend reservations. Patio was great and cool. Food was amazing. Drinks were good. Little pricey but worth it. Got a membership and will be back monthly

Kyle was our server that evening and he was amazing. His service was superb and the recommendations for our meal, dessert, and wine selection couldn’t have been better! I will be back thank you to all who took part in making the evening a warm and enjoyable experience!

Great restaurant! Came here while visiting Phoenix and super glad I did! I ordered the drunken shrimp, Mary potatoes, and lobster bisque. Everything came out relatively quick and was absolutely delicious. The quality of the food was exceptional and the attentiveness of the staff was on par with expectations. I would definitely return! I also love how for almost every good item there’s a bin number the corresponded with the best wine to pair with that good item.

We’ve dined here multiple times and each time has been delightful. Food is always good. Service is good too, considering with how busy they are. I’ve tried their wine tasting once and it was a fun experience. Wine isn’t bad. They have fun aerators they serve their wine in (if you want). They also had a retail section full of cute wine merch to purchase. Their monthly wine club is a bargain.

First time at Coopers Hawk, it was awesome! We didn't have time for the wine tasting experience, however, the wine options are extensive. We had the Brussels sprouts to start, gotta give them a try! I had a chicken breast Giardiniera with mashed potatoes. Delicious!

Tameka was the BEST! great food and service just way too loud and tables are too close together for as much as your paying! Steaks cooked perfect! Just wish we could have heard each other talking!

Amazing restaurant in Chandler. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and dining experience. Service was top notch. So many food options to choose from, quality was excellent. Wine was delicious and they have so many in house options. Check them out, it's worth your time.

I enjoyed Cooper's wine and steak. Wine had unique taste , and foods are really tasty. On Wednesday night, so many people had a good time together ❤️ 💕 in this restaurant. If you join wine club, you can taste many different wines every month. I like Shrimp Scampi for a main dish and calamari for an appetizer.

Great place to taste wine, eat, and daily fresh deserts. Definitely make a reservation and get there a bit early so you can do wine tasting. Expect a couple of hours as things are cooked fresh and pastries made throughout the day. Overall a fun place to go or have a date night.

This was our first time here and it will not be our last time here. The menu had so many great choices it was hard to choose. We started with the egg rolls and the sauces and salad were so good. I went for the Gnocchi and butternut squash (would have liked more squash). He had the short ribs risotto (there were no leftovers). Our guest went for the LifeBalance Burger and said he couldn't remember the last time he had a burger with a salad and fruit, and there was also no leftovers there either.

My husband and I recently moved to the area and wasn't really sure where we should go to celebrate our 7th year anniversary. My husband happened to find this place on Google and it's not far from where we are at, so decided to give it a try, so happy we did! First off, I definitely recommend making reservations. Ours was for 5:30pm and even though it wasn't to too busy when we first arrived, it wasn't long after that that the place filled up and came to life. The wine bar and little shop when you first walk in is nice, gives you some items to walk around and look at while you're waiting. We were seated fast because we had reservations. Our waitress, Gwyn H, was awesome! She is very friendly, knowledge about the menu in all categories and wines, made suggestions that we loved, kept our glasses full and table cleared, easy to communicate with and stayed busy busy but was on top of things that you didn't have to stop your meal to look for your waitress, which we loved. She's a very hard worker and great at multitasking. We will definitely be asking to sit in her area when we return. We ordered the Crab, Shrimp & Lobster Bisque to start, rich and creamy but not over powering. We both agreed that it was the best we've had. Loved that they used the pretzel bread to make croutons to go in it. ( You get pretzel bread and butter when you're seated) and we shared their Gnocchi Carbonara, which they split for us in the kitchen. So what is pictured is half of the order. And there was still plenty for us to bring home for lunch today. (Gwyn H packaged it and wrote a cute little notes on the box. It's those small little details that makes a person feel special and she's nailing it!) I have never had carbonara, so I wasn't sure what to expect, I would describe it as very light and filling, which was perfect because for dessert, they brought us their house truffles to celebrate our anniversary. The truffles were rich and creamy and very delicious. We also samples a couple of their brand wines, the riesling and the barrel wine, both were tasty. We were very satisfied with the restaurant and happy we found it to celebrate our anniversary. We plan to return very soon. I need to check out that braised short rib risotto and I need more bisque! Thank you all for a lovely evening!

It is an expensive place but the food service and ambiance is awesome. We ordered charcuterie, rolls, potstickers, fish, white and dark chocolate truffles. The house pretzel bread was free. The food tasted delicious and fresh. Anothe thing which impressed me was each dish was paired with an appropriate wine which made it real simple to order. We will recommend as well as we will bavk again

This was our first time to Cooper's Hawk in Chandler. I see they are opening one in Gilbert on San Tan Village Parkway and wanted to give it a try. Great decision! Fine dining experience with a relaxed atmosphere. Great idea to put the wine tasting area upon entry. I'm not a big wine drinker but brilliant idea for those that are! Service is great and the food was excellent 👌 would definitely go back

Lovely atmosphere, great place for a date night. The wine and drinks were on point and the food was delicious. My husband and I had lunch and even though it's an hour and a half from our home we're all ready planning a trip back. Best red mulled wine I've had, The bloody Mary comes with a mini charcuterie on a stick and a sidecar of some delicious beer. Can't say enough good things about this place.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Girls’ Night Perfection! We had the most wonderful dinner at Cooper’s Hawk in Chandler for a girls’ night / belated Christmas get-together. The four of us live in different corners of the Phoenix metro area, so it’s rare that we all get together and this was the perfect place to celebrate. Our waitress, Katie, was absolutely amazing. When she asked what we were celebrating and we explained, she surprised us by returning with four champagne samplings so we could toast together. That thoughtful gesture truly elevated the entire evening. Her customer service was exceptional, attentive, warm, and genuine. She is a true gem! 💎💎💎 We were also beyond impressed with the gluten-free menu. Two of us have celiac and one is gluten-free, and Cooper’s Hawk made us feel completely taken care of. The options were plentiful, the staff was knowledgeable, and we felt safe and accommodated. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the wine pairings were spot on. Every detail from service to food to atmosphere, was fantastic.🍽️❤️Deserts were so yummy too! We had three different GF desserts! 🍮 🍰🥮🍨 Highly recommend for celebrations, girls’ nights, or anyone needing excellent gluten-free options. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much! Kayla, the GM, came by to check in as well and was super sweet. Much appreciated!🙏🏻☺️❤️

Our family experience at Cooper's hawk winery was beyond AMAZING! From the host to the chefs, every staff member was outstanding. Our server Nathan was very knowledgeable and very courteous to his guests. It was our time there and our experience was unlike any other. We were seated immediately and from thst point on, the night just got better and better. Nathan, Sammie and TJ treated us like royalty. Seriously, they took the time to speak to us, refill drinks, checked on us constantly and answered all our questions. The wine and food were top notch. I certainly enjoyed every bite! Nathan, thanks again for your outstanding service!

Food was excellent and many types of wine with pairing suggestions to help you decide. Allowed us to sample a couple different wines before making a selection which was also very helpful with the difficult but fun decking process. I will definitely be back

We reserved our anniversary dinner for an early time on Friday, hoping it wouldn’t be too busy. The food was very good. Service was good. We felt a bit rushed at the end. Not that we stayed long, just an hour. It’s close to home so we like that. We are not wine drinkers, just looking for some good food.

My wife and I love this place. We are members of the wine club which we feel is great value. Today we stopped in to pick up our bottles and called an audible and dined in. We received amazing service from Brady who was knowledgeable, charismatic and made our experience memorable. Highly recommend.

We came here for my Birthday lunch and we had Jason K. and he was absolutely amazing! So attentive and kind ! We normally go to the SanTan location but this was a great treat and different atmosphere. Highly recommend ask for Jason K. ☺️

Cooper’s Hawk never disappoints when we come for wine and dinner. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the service is excellent. The jambalaya is a must-try, and the bruschetta makes a perfect appetizer. Don’t skip the chocolate cake — it’s absolutely amazing!

First, restaurant was very accomadating for our party. Second, take full advantage of the wine pairings on the phenomenal menu. Lastly, entire party was extremely pleased with taste/quality and presentation was on point. You will not be disappointed, restaurant is a go to.

I took my friend here for her birthday and we got sat in Jason K’s section and he was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly attentive and super nice! Even though we didn’t get too much stuff but he still made sure we felt important and taken care of! If you come in, definitely ask for Jason K!

Amazing experience. We are now wine club members. Amazing wine tasting and fantastic food. We've been there twice and will continue our monthly visits. It's worth the hour and half drive. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

We come here all the time. Last night, our Server Bailey made the evening just a bit more special. There is nothing she wouldn't do for us as if we were her only table. Thank you Bailey and CH for a wonderful evening. And the food... Spot on!!

Great food, perfect medium rare filet. Our server Adam D. was prompt, friendly, and helpful with selections, the atmosphere was nice. I also felt the prices were reasonable for the food selection.

My husband and I are members at Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant and we always have a great experience. The customer service is outstanding every time and the staff takes real care of their guests. The food is excellent and consistently prepared well and great creation. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can feel the positive culture throughout the restaurant. We always look forward to our visits. I would give more stars if I could. Thank you Chandler Coopers Hawk.

Our experience was wonderful during the wine tasting. She was knowledgeable and kind. The server in the bar for happy hour appeared unconcerned and hen was merely ordered appetizers and our thank you bottle. When we tried to order one more appetizers in before the end off happy hour our server went missing. It appeared intentional but he did resurface at 5:28 just in the nick of time. The food was great as usual. The Drunken Shrimp and sliders were wonderful. However we tried these Italian meatballs with rice fried over a pesto sauce. They were not good and would recommend. Before we left we order to go food. Unfortunately now I returned home I was missing the mashed potatoes potatoes with the order. I should have checked before I left. I spoke to the manager TJ about the missing mashed potatoes and offered a free meal. Unfortunately, I will have to drive from Queen Creek back to Chandler to retrieve the gratis meal.

The flavors of the meal were truly delightful, a memorable experience for the palate. However, the extended dining duration of three hours detracted somewhat from the overall enjoyment. The attentiveness and apologies offered by our server were appreciated. Despite the slow service, the delicious food made a positive impression. We hope future visits offer a more efficient dining experience.

We had a great experience at the Chandler location! The food was delicious - love the Brussels sprouts, the live music created a fun atmosphere, & the location is super convenient. Excited to explore more of the menu & wine selections as new members!🍷

The wine tasting took an hour to get through eight glasses, and the chocolate wine was disappointing. While the service could have been quicker, the staff were friendly. The tasting layout was unique, but more space and seating would be beneficial, especially on busy nights. Standing in heels for an hour was uncomfortable. On a positive note, the handcrafted food was delicious, and table service was excellent. This place is great for birthdays, date nights, or solo visits. I’ll definitely be back!

The food and wine here are amazing! The flavor of each dish popped but was also very balanced. The dining room is very loud and noisy. Be prepared, it was difficult to have a conversation with someone seated right next to you. The tasting room is very nice.

The entrance is odd, there are a few doors which fake you our a bit so you just keep walking until you find the entrance, but we just thought it was funny. You enter into the wine tasting room and retail space...smart $. I was impressed with the number of comfortable booths they had. The atmosphere is crisp and masculine with glass pendants which may be hard to keep clean (was my thought), but they looked beautiful. Our server Lisa was knowledgeable and very friendly, and the pacing of the meal was perfect. Complimentary pretzel bread was a nice touch and the complimentary tasting was right up my alley as I know what I like but I am not a wine connoisseur. So the tasting allowed me to be sure of the glass I ultimately ordered with my meal. We ordered the shrimp appetizer with candied bacon (I forget the name) but it had so many layers of flavors, just wonderful. My husband had the lobster and crab bisque which was a perfect starter and had lots of bits of veggies and shellfish. My husband had the lunch portion pork chop which he would have preferred less well, but understandably cooked with no pink (but that is changing in the food world, and he prefers less well pork). I ordered the Chicken risotto and it was so good, buttery and smooth with LOTS going on flavor-wise. We may join the wine club in the future. We will definitely be back.

Mar 25 : This was my second visit, starting with the wine tasting followed by dinner. Unfortunately, the wine selection didn’t impress me in terms of quality. On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience, with a great variety ranging from seafood to meat. We began with prawns served with avocado and a special sauce—an excellent choice to start the meal. The fried squid, however, was overly sweet; a lighter batter with less sauce would have been ideal. The chicken pot stickers were decent and had an authentic taste. The seafood soup, however, was too salty to drink and felt more like a broth. We had hoped to try the highly recommended Brussels sprouts, but they were sold out, so we opted for a salad instead. Tonight, I chose to avoid meat and went with ahi tuna as my main course. Served with salad and rice, the dish was unique, and every bite was cooked to perfection—I thoroughly enjoyed it. As for the special margarita, it was too sweet for my taste and lacked the sourness I prefer. The portion was also quite large; a smaller serving would have been better. May 24: This restaurant is part of a chain where you can enjoy wine tastings and delicious food. Although I didn't partake in the wine tasting, I had dinner here. The drunken shrimp and crispy Brussels sprouts make excellent appetizers that shouldn't be missed. The sauces are perfectly balanced and complemented my wine choice well. I ordered the pan-seared mahi-mahi with cheese on top, but it was a bit saltier than I prefer, despite the fish being cooked well. Overall, the service and ambiance are great for both business and personal occasions!

I enjoyed this restaurant. After booking i saw it was a chain and was skeptical but the food was good. I got the Parmesan crusted steak medallions and scallop dish, the veggies were good, not over cooked at all even though my pics came out rough. The lobster bisque soup was just eh. I wouldn’t order it again. I would try something else the next time for sure to give it one more try. It was pricey so be prepared.

Now here is a establishment that you can enjoy in multiple ways. Wine tasting in the tasting room. Patio seating for that nice day enjoyment The bar action was turned up watching that sports event of the day Then the fine dinning main seating area. For this review we sat in the bar, the staff was on point was able to explain the wines and tasting notes as well as pairing with our appetizers. Meatballs and the flat bread Both where perfect starters and since this was a simple quick stop for a small catch me up in energy we didn’t get into any main meals however I can say this, since I have eaten at Coopers before in Chicago every thing was stacking up just right. Now we did get a desert and this is where unfortunately the last star fell for the perfect review. The wife loved the truffle options I decided to go for the chocolate chip cookie with peanut butter cup minis and ice cream. Now I know you are asking how does one mess that up Well the cookie was not baked to order and was flash heated so it was good for one bite and then hardened up real quick didn’t even really mealy the ice cream at all. So the missed fifth star goes down with the cookie 🍪 Otherwise please check out the wine club it’s one of the better deals in the area and a screaming selection See you next time!!

Great setting for wine tasting. The cost is excellent with a large offering of wines to taste. The price points of the wines are excellent. The wines vary in quality, especially enjoyed the Port. Had a lovely meal after our wine tasting during Happy Hours. Have a great selection and everything was delicious.

Remind us not to come in December because there are lots of parties in the dining room and it makes it so hard to have a conversation with the person you are dining with. Not the restaurant's fault. Our waiter, Brady, was excellent. The risotto was watery, flatbread was burnt, and wine and bread delicious. Acoustics terrible when other diners are loud. Would love to see more vegetarian and vegan options.

Went w/ friends to Coopers Hawk Restaurant in Chandler AZ They are members so the wine, they have several bottles on their account, was Free. We started w/ (2) Loaves of bread. Delicious. (2) orders of Shrimp Tempura Very Good. (1) order of Brussell Sprouts AMAZING!!!!!! We should have stopped after the appetizers. For dinner my friend ordered the Gnocchi. Very Heavy. His wife the Sausage Flat Bread. Badly Burnt. See picture. I ordered the Shrimp & Scallop Risotto. Good but again Heavy. Service was adequate @ best. Jose started out nice greeted us friendly. We were the only people in that section. Then it became busier, and Jose was not up for the challenge. We were drinking several bottles of wine...Never did Anyone ask or bring water refills. Clear Dirty plates. Service seriously started lacking especially @ the end when we wanted to pay & leave...It took over an hour to get the bill settled and for us to leave! Very Dissatisfied. We were there for 4 HOURS NO WATER Seriously!!! My recommendation for what its worth... Go for appetizer food early as possible before they become busy. Their Brussell Sprouts are the Best I have Ever Eaten. Then have dinner somewhere else.

Twelve of us gathered for a Labor Day/Birthday celebration with friends. Three couples are wine members and we had so much fun during our wine tasting that two other couples joined. Sadly once we moved to the table, our dining experience was not the same. Our server didn’t refill waters, and took two hours to bring our meals. We let the manager know and though he did take care of us, it was a bad experience. Had the waitress communicated the kitchen may have been behind or that there was an issue it was taking so long, we may have understood. Instead we saw her taking care of other tables and ignoring us. I am not sure any of us want to keep our wine membership moving forward. We will give them one more chance with our free meal coupons and will see what happens. Very disappointed and a waste of a day.

DIning at 5pm on a Saturday, so before busiest time. Atmosphere was really great and it set the mood. We were excited to try a new restaurant as dont eat out much nowadays due to cost, and we chose this because they have almost 80 restaurants nationwide so assumed it should be great like Cheesecake Factory. Service was ok but from experience it was definitely too few servers as rarely saw ours. For reference we were party of 5 adults. Initial drinks came quick except alcohol that took a while. Water was not filtered and distinct "tap water" taste. ----- FOOD - - Crispy Brussel Sprouts - no bitterness and great crispy texture and flavor - 5* - Classic Tomato Bruschetta - nothing classic about this, and arguably not Bruschetta, as it was a slice of cheese and slice of tomato with dressing on bread. NO flavor - 2* main entrees took 45 minutes to arrive!! - parmesan-crusted mahi mahi - (replaced potatoes with oven-roasted veg) - truly awesome!! - cooked perfect and crust was great compliment - veg was disappointing and just 1 small Broccolini - 4.5* - Keaton’s spaghetti & house-made meatballs - wife loves meatballs but these had no flavor and sauce was bland. Bread was soggy - 2* (photo) - Cooper’s hawk chicken caesar - I have seen less oil on pasta dish, this salad was swimming in dressing and lettuce was soggy and croutons soft. Just look at the photo - 1* (dish was refunded) - Classic Cheeseburger - Looked fantastic but sadly meat was tasteless - 2* - sweet corn & tomato risotto - another dish just swimming in oil and this was chosen as a lower calorie VEGETARIAN dish **PARMESAN CHEESE is NOT VEGETARIAN (ingredient in Pesto oil)** So in summary it was very disappointing and dont see a reason to dine here with PF Changs and Cheesecake Factory just a stones throw away

We ate at the bar at Cooper's Hawk last night. This was our third time here and, gosh, what a disappointment. Our previous experiences were fine, nothing special, but fine but this experience was a huge miss. The good parts: the atmosphere is festive but not too loud and has a good vibe; we especially like the bar which is less formal. We had a cocktail which was also good, nothing egregious but also nothing special. Our server was inattentive, flat, and lackadaisical. Most importantly, the food was absolutely terrible. The bleu cheese dressing for the wedge salad was watery and the grouper literally tasted like rubber it was so overcooked (it was curled up on the edges). Sadly, we don't believe we'll be coming back.

First time at Cooper's Hawk, with a table reserved. Upon entering had no idea where to go to. It was a huge wine bar and people were shoulder to shoulder drinking wine. We exited the wine bar to find the door to the restaurant, and it turns out that was the entrance, but it was obvious that wine is the main attraction here. I squeezed through the dense crowd to find the front desk. Even though we had a reservation it took 15-20 minutes for our table. The service was good but slow as our waitress seemed busy elsewhere. She was very good when at our table, but was inattentive. Also, while the restaurant wasn't as loud as the wine bar, it was loud for sure, with a lot of "what did you say?". The food was just OK. 3 of us had issues while 2 enjoyed their food. Mine was the Cooper's Hawk Chicken Giardiniera, which mentions pickled vegetables, except they were **spicy** and quickly triggered my acid reflux -- meal over. Grandma's filet mignon was hard to cut and chewy, and grandpa didn't like the flavor of his Roasted Chicken Risotto. The 3 of us left our half-eaten meals there. No reason to take the leftovers home. We asked our waitress to split the check for grandpa and me. At the bottom of each check it correctly listed half the total price, but on each check it recommended a tip based off the *total price*. We both filled in the tips using the 2X recommendations, then realized the 2X issue and had to re-do the tip. That's pretty bad and I could totally see people tipping twice what they intended. No way we're returning after that experience.

Have been members since this place opened. Service has been bad on every recent visit. All the servers seem new and slow. When paying $75+ a person it's disappointing and unacceptable. The young girl who was running food was incredibly rude when dropping our tables dinner. 2 of 4 people at the table order pasta and asked for cheese on the pasta when she dropped the food. She turned around and said "it's on there" and walked away. Then she dropped our dessert with no spoons and shrugged and walked away. Incredibly rude and unacceptable. I will be canceling my wine club membership as there are plenty of high end dinning options where service matches the price.

H
Holiday St.Andre

I would give zero stars for my experience as a wine club member. Don't join. They were always out of the bottle of the month or anything decent, the wines I got were awful, the membership was difficult to cancel, and they continued to charge my card after i cancelled. It's a scam. It's unfortunate because I liked the restaurant, enough to join the wine club, but my experience was so bad that I never want to go back. There's lots of places to eat. Go somewhere else.
