Me and my girls went last night for their birthdays and we had a time! The food was great. There wasn't a wait. And the service was AMAZING!!! Victoria and Alex was amazing. There was other great staff that was there but I don't know their names. It was a good time! 10/10 recommend for sure
I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina. The meats are clearly carefully selected, offering high-quality cuts that are bursting with flavor. The sirloin cap, in particular, stood out for its incredible juiciness and taste. The side dishes were authentically Brazilian and complemented the meal perfectly. The customer service was top-notch, with Uri providing outstanding assistance and helping me experience the best the restaurant has to offer. The location is also convenient with easy and accessible parking. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this place!" Wishing them all the best!
Wonderful dinning experience! We went on a couples date night with some family and they did not disappoint! We have been to a Brazilian steakhouse closer to home so we knew what to expect. The meat was delicious and they had several options to choose from on the salad bar. It is a bit pricey but worth the experience and the food quality! The servers were always around offer different selections of meat. Worth the money and the 2 hour drive!
Everything just Perfect in this restaurant. The food is delicious, they have a big salad buffet, no ending meats and a great dessert. The service was great, all the servers very friendly and professional. The manager was phenomenal! The price is around $50 per person. I highly recommend this restaurant, most because of the quality and quantity food and great service.
The service, atmosphere, and food was wonderful. The food was flavorful. The servers were professional and worked well as a team. The staff had a pleasant demeanor and they gave you enough time to talk with your date while also ensuring you had everything you need. I even had special requests and I was attended to. It was surpurb. The delicious lamb came around a few times (I told them I liked lamb). They were very attentive. The salad area had delicious and colorful options. There was even smoked salmon and different kinds of peppers. The meat that came to the tables were perfectly cooked and juicy. Sebastian, our server, was professional and personable. My husband and I had a great experience here. The atmosphere is cozy and classy. I highly recommend Estampa Gaucha for a lovely night out!
Estampa hit all the marks: the atmosphere was laid back and not overly loud. The food was great, all the meats were seasoned and cooked to perfection, the picanha was the absolute best; melt in your mouth. The service was 100/100, everyone was attentive and professional.
This place is AMAZING! First timers listen up, do not....DO NOT eat lunch before you go. There's a two sided card on the table, green means "Bring it on!" Red means, "I'm done". Every bite brought new and tasty pleasures. Big salad bar and a HUUUUUGE drink selection, to include a cart with hard alcohol! They had me at alcohol! I Love this place! Wonderful food, gorgeous looking staff 😍😍😍.
Food was great just a few of them was over cooked and super dry. They should have left the overcooked ones in kitchen not serving to tables. The service was fantastic they kept checking on us
My kids chose this place for my husband's birthday. Walking in the hostesses greeted us with a warm welcome that to me sets the tone at any establishment. We had a reservation, she asked our name and immediately took us right to our table no waiting involved, that to me is a plus plus . Before we could even get seated good, the manager came over and introduced himself and asked if we had been there before. I told him no, and he then explained to us how it was going to go . On a scale of 1 to 10, I would moat definitely give this restaurant a 15. Everything was on point i it was nothing to be disappointed about. It's a must try restaurant.
The restaurant is directly across from the NASCAR Hall of Fame and is connected to the Embassy Suites Hotel. It's a fantastic choice come the alternative fast food joints in the vicinity due to the Hall of Fame and Convention Center. The Hall of Fame has Wild Wings attached to it and that would likely cost anything $25-$35 nowadays per person. The price is about $60 per person but it's all you can eat with plenty of meat choices. The beer I had was only $5, which I thought would've been more. I recommend this place compared to the local chains.
Great Brazilian steakhouse. Ive tried one other more prominently known chain and this place is much better. The wait staff worked hard to tend to our needs and the large variety of meat was never ending. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the mood for an all you can eat dinner. The house sirloin and filet were cooked perfectly. Seasoning was spot on, not too salty but just right. Salad bar was unique with lots of variety and freshly prepared. polenta and rice & beans were excellent. A true delight in dining. Located Right across the street from the NASCAR museum.
If I could give it 100 stars I would! The best service I ever had in my life, the best tasting food , incredible experience all around!
It's probably the best Brazilian steak house I've visited on the East Coast. The service was excellent and the food was great. I called on mothers Day weekend, and they were able to squeeze us in at dinner time. We came in at our reservation time and were seated right away. It's worth a try.
To begin, let me say how wonderful the service was. We received excellent treatment from all of the servers, including the management. Everything looked fresh and tasted fantastic, and the food bar was tidy and clean. The assortment of meat was excellent. Every cut was done to my satisfaction. The filet mignon dissolved in my mouth. I highly recommend this eatery.
If the people who serve at Estampa Gaucha are any indication of what Brazil is like, then that is a GREAT country!!!! Anyway, the food was beyond magnificent!!! I was there yesterday, April 8th, celebrating my birthday (April 5th) and those men and women went above and beyond. The food??? WOW!!! They went out of their way to make all the meats just the way I requested, from type to how it was cooked, to how it was cut. Even the salad bar was good and that's not even their speciality. The worst part about the experience was the ranch dressing...Thats it. (And they'll probably correct that and make the restaurant perfect... Oh, by the way, if you don't try the grilled pineapple...You had better have allergies, otherwise, you don't have good sense.🤣 This place was GREAT By the way, I saw a person complain about them not offering iced tea. 🤨 While you're entitled to your opinion, IT'S BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE. Just because we're in the south doesn't mean they need to conform. There are a lot of culturally traditional restaurants that do not have iced tea. Just not a good reason for a bad review.
It is one of the best Brazilian, Argentina food in Charlotte. The restaurant is good in everything, has a wide salad bar, 16 different kind of meats which includes pork, lamb, chicken, steak, ribs and different cuts, service is excellent. Location is very good across the street from Nazcar Hall of Fame. I recommend this place 100% even if you don't eat meat you will find lots of veggies, beans, rice, and etc.
Best Picanha I’ve ever had. I’ve worked at a Brazilian steakhouse and lived in Brazil and this was the best in my opinion. The other cuts were great as well! Also- the cheese and honey was amazing… We also had great service from everyone, especially from Ezequiel and Angelica! We will definitely be back here. Highly recommend.
The roasted chicken & bacon wrapped chicken were excellently seasoned. I loved the food and drinks!
My wife and I went here on a very slow and quiet Wednesday night close to closing time, I would def say that its better to go when they are a little busier as you will have more options for meats. The meats that we did get were all very good, cooked to perfection and had really good flavor. Out of the meats that we did try, the lamb shank was especially good and the sirloin was very juicy and flavorful. We wanted to try the fillet and shrimp but it was not offered to us at that time, but we still had a great meal with all the other stuff. The salad bar is also very good, had a huge variety of different kinds of foods, including beans and rice. They also give you mashed potatoes as one of the included sides which was very good. I would highly recommend the Brazilian lemonade, it was probably some of the best lemonade I've ever had! We also had the strawberry cheesecake for dinner which was very good. The restaurant was extremely clean and service was very good, our waitress checked in on us many times and took good care of us!
Love this place! The food is delicious and the service is amazing. Since the moment you walk in the staff is super friendly and very attentive.
In addition to superb service and great foods, the ambience is upscale yet very comfortable. Reservations honored immediately with no waiting. Overall, an excellent dining adventure last night.
Exceptional! Julia was an awesome server, dining experience was top notch. Food was well seasoned.. The Manager & his staff were first class professionals
I've been to a lot of Brazilian Churrascarias, and this is a fantastic deal at its price point. Service is exceptional, and the meat selection and preparation are phenomenal. The salad bar is good but not as expansive as some other places. All in all, an easy 5 out of 5.
A fantastic experience! Unlike other similar restaurants, customers can avail themselves of the buffet menu to include unlimited sides and desserts. The staff was very friendly and attentive. A must visit; can’t wait to visit again!
Absolutely FANTASTIC! service was extremely friendly and fun. Food was amazing, - even a simple dish like black beans and rice was surprising and delighting to the palate. An ALL the meats were seasoned well and prepared impeccably. Could not recommend more highly
5 stars EVERYTHING! What a great experience! Food quality, 10/10! Buffet 10/10, Drinks 10/10, STAFF 1000/10 - I am def coming back and next time I’ll write a review it will be with pictures. Can’t wait to go back ✨
All the food was excellent-easily a 10 out of 10. Every cut of meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. I especially loved the lamb (couldn't get enough!) and the grilled pineapple, which was absolutely amazing. The buffet was excellent, with delicious cheeses, fresh salmon, and more. The lemonade was refreshing and a perfect pairing. Our server, Carlos, was friendly, attentive, and made the evening even better. This was the highlight of my visit to Charlotte, and I'll definitely be coming back!
Lo mejor! The food was absolutely delicious. It was a fun combination of an extensive buffet and table service of perfectly prepared meats. The staff and manager were very enthusiastic and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The variety and quality of food is unmatched. We were pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices were. I will return asap. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant!
Great restaurant week experience. All of the meats were fresh. Nothing overcooked. The waiters were very attentive to if you had your card flipped over or not. I wish there were maybe a bit more beef options but everything offered is delicious nonetheless. Salad bar is impeccable. Would definitely return for another date night
Good Brazilian steakhouse. The variety of meats are good but a little over done for my taste. The flank steak was the most tender. Salad bar is decent but doesn’t have soup. The side dishes are plantains, corn bread and bread rolls. Lacks a potato dish like mashed or baked potatoes. Desert is extra, I tried the molten brownie with ice cream and definitely a boxed desert not freshly made. Loved their pineapple mind juice, sooo good
After 2 hrs, my sons finally got full! Food was good but pace of bringing the food around was not perfect. Not everything was done and served in a timely manner. By the time the shrimp and cheese came, I was already full and done.
Dined in for restaurant week. Food was good and service was outstanding. Some of the meat did taste kind of chewy even medium rare pieces but others were really good. Salad bar had many options and very fresh. I would go back.
Our table had a party of seven people. While the food quality was excellent and the meat was prepared perfectly, the service significantly hindered the experience. Our waitress was inattentive so we had to flag another waitress down to refill our waters, take our plates, get our dessert, and bring the checks. We waited over 30 minutes for our checks. Some of our bills were incorrect and took more time to fix them. I’d recommend it for the flavors, but only if you are not on a schedule.
I’m from Chicago and was visiting family here, and I wanted to treat them to a nice dinner, so we decided to try this restaurant. There was a good variety of meat, and the salad bar was decent. The servers were great—very friendly and attentive, which we truly appreciated. However, the biggest disappointment was the pricing for children. We were charged $29.99 each for both a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old. I can understand paying that amount for a 7-year-old, but paying the same price for a 4-year-old who only ate a few French fries and a piece of fruit felt unreasonable. There were very few kid-friendly options, and it didn’t feel worth the price at all. I also wish the children’s pricing was clearly listed on their website, because this was an unexpected charge. I’ve been to other Brazilian steakhouses with my family, and kids’ pricing has never been this high. Overall, the food and service were very good, but the children’s pricing was definitely higher than expected.
Lovely place for large groups, only if you are carnivores. The charcuterie display was great for me, i loved everything about that. Some of the meat choices were way out for me. It's overpriced for me. Water to drink, various meats running around the table by hand lol just a lot for me..
Came for a birthday and honestly idk I don’t think I’ll be back. Parking was very confusing due to the area, it wasnt clear the valet was also for the restaurant. The service was hit or miss, some of the staff were GREAT including the manager, but others were short and not super great. It wasn’t clear if they were sharing responsibility or if we had a dedicated server bc the actual servers were few and far between. We also mentioned several times it was a birthday and included in the open table notes and while I know not every restaurant does Birthday things The table beside us seemed to get some acknowledgment of a birthday with desert and candle. Is it the end of the world? No, but when one table receives that one table doesn’t and it’s not a consistent Experience for guests. Some of the food was really great. Some of the food really wasn’t. The cheese bread was such an odd texture the entire table opted out on it. The non-alcoholic drink do not come with refills, which is like fine, but that was not explained to us in the beginning. It’s just for about $60 a pop you think it’d be more consistent. I hate to ding it bc the manager was so charismatic but we spent $400 to be really disappointed with the meal.
I really didn’t enjoy my food at all. The flavor was meh. The meat itself was super fatty and not great quality. The salad bar was okay but the dried meats were not flavorful. The cheeses were dried out. The part of the meal that was the best was the cheesecake. The service was solid and on point but no one really had a good feel on when to clear your plates.
The servers here are always great, but the management really ruins the experience. On my last visit, my drink took way too long because the manager kept pulling the bartender away from the bar to do random tasks. I also noticed gauchos serving tables, which makes me think they’re understaffed or just not being managed well. Even when the restaurant is slow, sometimes when we’re literally the only table, you’ll see employees just standing around or talking to the bartender because there’s obviously nothing else for them to do. And that’s when the manager starts making this loud ‘tsh’ sound to call them over. It’s the same noise someone would use to call an animal, and it’s loud enough for customers to hear and turn their heads. Then suddenly 20 servers rush to our table all at once, checking on us within seconds, which makes the meal feel anything but relaxing. I’m a manager myself, and the way he conducts himself is honestly embarrassing. Half the time he’s on his phone while trying to tell everyone else what to do. There’s also clear favoritism — one person can stand around doing nothing while others get nitpicked. I believe the manager’s name is Angel, and based on what I’ve seen, he really needs training on how to lead a team respectfully and professionally.
I have to start by saying that this is not the first location I visited, The place is very similar to the others a bar with salad and some other appetizers generally varied several and fresh. The price is appropriate for the place you are visiting, the concept is similar, however, the way they cook things and the treatment you receive make a big difference. Many of the cuts were charred more than cooked and they actually tasted bitter. I imagine it's because they keep the meat for a long time since they didn't have many customers despite it being Saturday. What would definitely not make me return to that place is the treatment of both the manager and the people who bring the cuts to the table. From their annoying insistence that you consume beverages to their insinuation that we eat a lot despite having barely eaten. Until we were ignored and had to specifically ask for the cut we wanted since they did not come to the table to offer it except for the first 2 times . It's annoying having to ask people to bring you food only for them to say, "Do you want another one?" . I guess we should eat something. After all, it wasn't free; you just sit down and pay to eat. It's definitely a place I don't recommend, at least not this specify location . There are others in different cities that are well worth visiting. In 1 hour, 7 types of cuts were made, 2 of which were repeated and 3 of which we had to specifically request. It's a waste of time and money. I don't know how else to explain the horribe experience we had.
I hate to do this but seriously, i have never seen a server that serves steaks at a rodizio Brazilian steakhouse question your taste on how you will like your cuts, bacon with chicken should be not burned but golden brown, not raw bacon color! The attitude is the worse, this is not a true Brazilian steakhouse, but a version of it. The place is clean organized and very well maintained, the floor manager very attentive to serve and respectful i will said what deserves to be said, but the younger man the serves the cuts, should try Macdonald s he is better off for it.
My partner and I visited Estampa Gaucha to celebrate his birthday, and unfortunately the experience wasn’t what it used to be. We used to come often because the service and food were always reliable, but this visit felt very different. Our server took our drink order and then disappeared. We never saw him again, and no other server checked on us. We received a water refill from the manager, and it took a while for the other servers to clear our plates. We only received pão de queijo at the start, while tables seated after us were given the full set of appetizers. The rest didn’t arrive until we were nearly finished eating. The gauchos, however, were fantastic, attentive, and offering great service. No complaints about them at all. The meat quality, however, has dropped as well. Some cuts didn’t taste fresh or were overly seasoned. The cinnamon pineapple ended up being the best part of the meal. We were also there during their advertised $49 Facebook promotion, but our bill reflected full price. The manager told us we needed to mention it upfront and that it only included certain meats, which contradicted their own post. Once we showed the FB post to him, he honored the price. Overall, the service, food quality, and general experience have gone downhill, and it feels like management may have changed. Sadly, we don’t plan on returning.
2 stars for the salad bar. It was the only fresh food. The meat they brought out was super salty and dry. The shrimp were so overcooked you couldn't even peel them. Meat tasted off. Lamb was very gamey. We kept having to ask for rare meat or fresh shrimp and the same quality things kept coming out. Makes me think they are reheating the left over meat by charring the outside. $70 plus tip per person should warrant better quality food.
I wish that I could say something positive about our experience yesterday 2/14/26 but really can’t. 90% of the meat that is brought out is horrible. It has to be the cheapest meat you can buy being served, we barely had anything that wasn’t muscle or fat and could barely cut it with a knife, my wife and son had to spit out multiple meats because they couldn’t chew them. They were all either way over seasoned, or not seasoned at all and needed salt. Best thing we had was the pineapple. . We were there for roughly 1.5 hours and our waitress came by maybe 3 times and we waited on refills for our drinks for more than 20 minutes. Also online when we made our reservation it states $59 per person and when we get there they say it’s $89 per person because of Valentines Day event, the event added on champagne and cheesecake, we asked if we could just not get those add ons and were told no. It was our son’s birthday lunch, so since we already traveled an hour we just dealt with the price difference from what was advertised online. Also at one point when we were almost done, our waitress asked us if we needed anything else, and we felt like they were trying to get us to leave. Charging customers this much you would think you would get better quality food and service. I would not recommend this place at all.
Not the best experience. food was very slow to come to the table. The whole experience felt as though the restaurant is trying to minimize the amount of food they deliver to tables. After I left the restaurant I contemplated stopping at McDonald’s to get food because I was still hungry after leaving the this restaurant. Overall, there were few options of protein. Chicken, limited cuts of beef and some lamb and pork. I’ve been to others Brazilian steak houses with better equipped food options and faster turnover food options. This place needs to step up their game because it was 7 tables and they couldn’t keep up with the food. Very disappointing experience
Terrible place. The food was not good for the price charged. The manager, "Carlos," was very arrogant and didn't talk and give any information about the place. The waiters' service was perfect.
The whole experience from start to finish was bad. Our server disappeared after bringing us water, and we had to go to the bar and order our own drinks. Then our drinks were never delivered to the table, we had to tell the manager who checked in on us 15 minutes later who then brought them over. We got "appetizers" halfway into the meal, with no bread. We asked for bread, it never got delivered to us. Other tables had their used plates picked up and fresh plates delivered, that never happened for us either. Some of the meat was over seasoned, not in a good way, and the pork meats were all dry. To top it off, the manager dropped the bill off with a $25 gift card as if we would ever give this place another chance. If you want a Brazilian Steakhouse experience in Charlotte, go ANYWHERE else!
Estampa Gaucha – Honest Review Short summary - If you’re in the mood for a Brazilian steakhouse in Charlotte, go to Chima! It has been excellent every time we have been. My wife and I visited Estampa Gaucha recently, and while the service was truly outstanding, the food unfortunately fell far below expectations. I also want to preface by saying we have been here prior to this and that time the food was just okay, but wanted to give it a second chance. The staff was excellent! They were attentive, friendly, and consistently checking in without being intrusive. Easily a 5‑star customer service experience. The ambiance was middle of the road but pleasant enough. The restaurant was quiet, which allowed us to have an intimate conversation without feeling overheard. The real issue was the food. Every cut of meat we received was cooked poorly in one way or another. The pork was dry and chewy. The bacon‑wrapped filet was so fatty that my wife couldn’t chew her piece, and I couldn’t cut through mine with a steak knife. Another steak, which I think was a prime rib, was overcooked, fatty, and flavorless. At one point, my wife almost choked because her steak was so tough and chewy. This was the first time we’ve ever had to stop eating and leave a restaurant because the food was so poorly prepared. We spent about 20 minutes there, each managed maybe three bites, and ultimately had to leave and go elsewhere for dinner. We genuinely wanted to enjoy the meal, especially given how great the staff was, but the quality and execution of the meats made that impossible. I hope this was an off night, because the service team deserves food that matches the level of care they provide.
Won’t return. The meat was either over salted or not possible to chew. Party of four arrived around five pm. One of the ribeye and one of the flanks was decent but the other 15 or so meats that came around were super tough to chew. Avoid garlic steak and bacon wrapped filet. The wine banfi Brunello was solid.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. Super expensive and the food isn’t good at all. All the meat they brought out was super dry and super super salty. And salad bar was your regular Golden Corral salad bar. Sliced watermelon shouldn’t be an option at a high quality steakhouse with those kind of prices. Some of the meat they brought was super bloody tasting almost like it was old meat. Definitely not a good sign when you have to spit out the meat your chewing on due to the quality and taste of it. I’m not a picky eater what so ever but this hands down was the worst 160 dollar dinner I’ve ever had.
Do not visit. The food and gauchos were great. The service is horrible. We were seated in the back room, our server did not check on us after we were seated. After we got her attention she slammed our champaign on the table, obviously annoyed. We sat for 30 minutes after we were done and our table had been cleared by another server who saw our discomfort. Our server then ignored us making eye contact and waving to her, refusing to bring a check. The manger finally came to bring the check, did not offer an apology or compensation. All of the tables that were also seated at 7:30 with the same server had been gone for 30 mins-1 hour, the tables seated at 8:00 had also already left. Not acceptable for $200 for 2 people.
