Pisces Sushi Bar & Lounge

Arguably one of the best sushi spots in Charlotte. This is my third time dining in here and the service, the food and the drinks are absolutely amazing . Make sure you try the tangerine mule. I’ve ordered a different number of appetizers and all of them so far are amazing. The one in the photo is the fried crab dumplings. As far as the sushi, there are quite a few that caught my attention and they all are incredible. The quality of the ingredients is top. Make sure you order the bad girl (showed in the picture). It’s it topped with filet mignon .

First time at this establishment. Fancy but chill vibe... The hostess were there to greet you at the door. Our waitress was awesome. The food was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the shrimp & scallop habachi and I had a ton of shrimp and scallops on my plate. Most places cut you short on the meats but they gave plenty. Very tasty and filling. Next time I visit, I will try out the sushi.

Haley with Offline - Pisces Sushi was great! We are sushi lovers, always excited to try new sushi in the area. we had the Tuna Tataki (great and spicy!) and 2 rolls. The Hurricane and The Sushi Sandwich but turned it into a roll. The Sushi sandwich as a roll was sweet and delicious!! Also, huge shoutout to our waitress that helped us with our selection and did an amazing job! I believe her name was Catherine!

First, I cannot rave enough about how INCREDIBLE our server, Chelsea, was. She was super bubbly, attentive, and knowledgeable; she checked in multiple times and spoke with such a positive tone! It is rare that to leave a restaurant with THAT great of a service experience. Everything was served in generous portions, and the sushi combo was super fresh. The miso soup was perfectly prepared and the spicy edamame dish was definitely unique. If you love spice, this is one for you. The sauce on the Yaki Udon, although very intricate and layered in flavor, was a bit excessive on the dish, as it overpowered every other flavor present. I highly recommend sitting in the booth section. The private booth hallway provides such a great chic yet intimate space that is PERFECT for a date night.

We really enjoyed our sushi at Pisces, and they had some unique sauces on some of the rolls and unique configurations that were fun and different. For example, my husband got the sushi sandwich and really loved it! Chelsea was AMAZING - even before she knew we’d be sat at her table, she was the one to come over to ask if we wanted a drink while waiting for a table. I let her know I was pregnant, and she was so sweet to find out the mocktail options and help me with finding fully cooked sushi rolls. She had such an upbeat and kind personality and every time she walked away, I commented to my husband how much I loved her service. Thank you, Chelsea, for a great date night!

My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday, and it exceeded our expectations. Our waitress, Cat, was so polite, attentive, helpful, and fun to interact with. We wanted to come to Pisces specifically for their Omakase, and the chef provided delicious and high-quality fish for our meal. After our Omakase, we tried the “Happy Ending” roll. Cat was so understanding when we asked to substitute the avocado in the sushi roll due to allergies. At the end of our meal, Cat surprised us with a cheesecake to help celebrate our 5-year anniversary. We also tried the tempura fried Oreos to satisfy our sweet tooth. Thank you so much to the incredible staff at Pisces for making our anniversary so memorable. We hope to come back soon!

My hubby and I picked this place because it was near our hotel, priced right, and had a beautiful atmosphere. It did not disappoint! Our waiter, Dustin, helped us pick up some sushi because they had some unusual flavor combinations, and we weren't sure what to pick. He guided us to the "Happy Ending" and "Sweetheart" rolls and they were delicious! I especially loved the mango in the Sweetheart roll, which is weird because mango is not my favorite thing in most cases. Dustin was attentive and everything was perfect for an impromptu date night!

We traveled to Concord for a show and craved sushi. This place stuck out to me because of the names of the rolls. The service was amazing! Our food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend trying the fatty blue fin (hara naka toro) and the kampachi. The hara naka toro is hands down the best piece of sushi I’ve ever had in my life! We also had the sesame chicken appetizer and side of garlic noodles. For rolls, the screaming o was BOMB! There’s wasabi oil in it that takes you by surprise, but it’s not overbearing. The crunchy spicy tuna was also good- they were huge!! Highly recommend this spot for great tasting sushi. It was the perfect date night. There’s a free parking garage close by if you can’t find a street spot

I loved the private seating booths! This place was so pretty and the food was amazing. They had a good variety of vegetarian sushi, which is hard to find where we are from.

Great Customer service! Love the covered table area. Plenty of food based on serving. This was a choice during July 2023, Charlotte Restaurant. Well seasoned, great presentation, and Hot. I will visit again.

What a wonderful time at Pisces Sushi. I invited by a friend to this place for dinner for the first time, I absolutely loved the place. The server is well knowledge of the food and took great care of us. I believe Pisces Sushi is the best place to go if you are looking for an incredible meal at a restaurant who understands service, presentation, and quality.

Oh my goodness everything was wonderful. We were able to get our reservation pushed up earlier, the food was wonderful but our server was the star of the show. Dustin answered our questions, gave great recommendations, and made some good drinks! He was very attentive and kind. An absolute star.

My partner and I wanted sushi on Sunday, so we went to Pisces for their All You Can Eat. They were closed when we got there, so we waited until they re-opened for dinner at 4:00 PM. Service was kind and wdelicious. The atmosphere is always nice and cozy. The food was served fast and tasted delicious. I ordered 5 pieces of Salmon Nigiri, 2 Inari Nigiri, 1 plate of the Crab Dumplings, the Slammin' Salmon Roll and Like A Vegan Roll.

Came here for restaurant week. It was my first time coming here, it was a great experience! We placed a reservation but probably didn’t need one, honestly. Many people came in after us though. We ordered sesame chicken, crab dumplings, sushi, and hibachi. It was all really delicious! The garlic noodles that came with the hibachi were so flavorful, and the chicken was juicy. The sushi was good too! We had so many leftovers to take home, too. I didn’t get our server’s name, but she was so sweet. All around good experience!

My experience with this place was amazing. I tried the Slammin’ Salmon Roll (recommended by Sophai) and the sesame chicken bites- absolutely amazing! Sophai was so great. She offered great customer service and suggestions, and was very attentive to my needs! She went above and beyond with every step, checking on me, and ensured that I had everything that I needed. 10/10 experience.

The experience was pretty good. We arrived & were told there was a 30-min wait. The restaurant is still following covid protocol ; thus we could not wait inside the restaurant. Due to where the restaurant is located my friends & I were able to walk around & shop until we were texted to be seated. Once the text was received, we were seated & the server immediately greeted us. The server was friendly & knowledgeable. The drinks & food came out fairly quickly. The food was filling & the portions were large. Most importantly the food tasted great. I would definitely recommend & will be returning.

Pisces had an 11$ sushi buffet that was made to order. this means they put a little more care into the rolls. the buffet also included a few non sushi items. Service was attentive. Would definitely recommend. Free parking across the street near best buy.

Delicious sushi and great service. Parking can be a little bit of pain due to the volume of shoppers in the adjacent shops. I went for my birthday with friends a few weeks ago, we order sushi to share and it was amazing. I'll definitely go back!

It had been years since I'd been here. So glad I went back. Totally upgraded in atmosphere, food and service! Really fresh sushi. I Love the little pod booth seating. Very intimate. Perfect for lunch or dinner date.

Pisces sushi has been my favorite place to get sushi from in Charlotte for years - mainly because they serve the best rolls with lots of different options. I like rolls with seared fish on top (because raw fish texture freaks me out) and they have multiple options for this! Their rolls are AMAZING! For years, I used to always request the seating in the back because that was the only area with booths but they have recently updated the whole interior of the restaurant and now their are high backed booths throughout the whole restaurant so you can basically sit anywhere and get plenty of privacy. This update made this restaurant feel to me like the atmosphere matches the quality of fish, the quality of rolls, and the amazing service that you receive when going there! I am so glad the owners made this investment for their customers because now I can recommend Pisces as a fine dining atmosphere with the BEST freshest tasting sushi in town! I can’t tell yall enough how great this place is! The staff is always kind, welcoming, and happy, the food is amazing (my husband loves the teriyaki chicken and the rainbow roll), and the atmosphere is perfect - casual yet refined! If you’re wondering where to get sushi in Charlotte, this is your place!! It’s way better sushi at a more reasonable price than anywhere else in Charlotte - and sushi is my favorite food so I am picky! You’ll love it I promise!

The nigiri and sashimi were outstanding! I highly recommend ordering the omakase to get the chef's selection of the freshest fish and best cuts. When you go, ask for Blaine. She made great recommendations and provided 5 star service!

Fresh, simple, delicious. If you want actual sushi go here. The service is also excellent and the price (lunchtime) is super affordable. Big bang for the buck.

Our server was top notch, the bartender definitely new what he was doing, and oh yea... the food was awesome! See for yourself!

👏👏Once again, Pisces is AWESOME!! Enjoyed a early lunch/diner @ 2pm today. Decided to have the mixed Hibachi grill of Shrimp 🍤 & Scallops, with stir-fried vegetables & fried rice👍 The green tea & salted edamame was also fabulous. Pisces is truly an underrated gem in CLT, everything is always excellent, and the service is good at anytime. I love going there just before doing my Trader Joe’s shopping in the plaza😉

I highly recommend this Sushi lounge and bar. The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully served.

Oh -my-Lord !!! Probably the best all you can eat sushi place I have EVER been. Leave everything you are doing and GO there to eat when you are around that area. Clean place, nice staff, nice atmosphere, convenient for handicap, good price for all you can eat, all in one place. All you can eat sushi also gives you the option of rolls and other stuff and everything is yummy! I will suggest to order 4-6 different ones at once. It takes a bit to get them so you want something on table while waiting. But please do not waste food.

Mercedes with Offline - Even though my friend and I rushed in 30mins before closing they catered to us quickly and happily. I loved the lychee Martini, the slammin salmon sushi roll was good as well but next time I'll try the Tango Mango roll. Also, loved the crab racoon! We were fed and out of the restaurant right at 10pm full of good food and vibes

Very cute place. The service was a little slow, but overall, our first-time experience was good. We will definitely return. My favorite items were the calamari. Spicy garlic edamame and the miso soup. The sushi was average, nothing extraordinary. I would not order the fried rice or garlic noodles again.

The dragon roll and seaweed salad were great. But the chicken udon was too salty and the chicken and noodles were over cooked. We sent it back and our server was very nice about it. We will stick with sushi if we return. Service was prompt and professional. Ambiance is very nice.

Good all you can eat sushi for $12 AND an appetizer 😳(rice, noodles etc) can't wait to go back. My daughter was begging for sushi before we even came to Charlotte. So her aunt recommended this place and they didnt disappoint. I'm from the north and the few all you can eat places are extremely expensive. The sushi wasn't highest quality but good and the selection was amazing. Great that I was able to try some that I normally wouldn't try. Will definitely be going back!!! Service was really good especially the young black petite girl was very sweet and also the other young woman on the lounge side on Saturday 1130. They were also very accommodating. We had a large party. That came in two parts... so that made us really happy how they helped us. Great job!

Great bang for your buck all you can eat Sushi spot if you’re in Charlotte. We got in easily on a Saturday night, prices are affordable and sushi is solid.

I really enjoyed the sushi and food 🍣 the bartender was so knowledgeable and helpful! He provided great insight on the food choices and handcrafted drinks. I went on a Saturday afternoon after stopping by target across the street. Yum!

The roll I had was amazing and decently priced for the amount i got. I also ordered the hibachi shrimp entree which was pretty good. Atmosphere was cute. I think it would be a nice date spot. Service was decent as well. My cocktail was very weak. I’d come back only for sushi.

The food was so good I did not take a photograph of it. I said at the bar and the sushi was good and also the Hibachi shrimp. The beautiful redhead person working the bar are the bartender, was actually very attentive and suggested some good additions to the food. And the drinks were popping.

Went here on a Monday evening after work. Ordered the bacon wrapped scallops and 4 different sushi rolls. The sushi was very good, the scallops were tough and chewy so I cant recommend them. For dessert we had the oreo cheesecake and it tasted stale or maybe freezer burnt. The wait times were long and our server wasn't very attentive. There are many really nice sushi places in CLT, this one just missed the mark for us.

Honestly pretty disappointing. Did the all you can eat for $29 and I felt like the sushi was disappointing, I had the dynamite Roll and it had no flavor. Appetizers and salad were decent. Overall nothing special and wouldn't rush back.

My mom and I went to Pisces today and was told they were closing their dining room from 2:30pm-4:30pm to prepare for dinner which they had a sign on a pole they put in the front of the register that said they were closing 3pm-4:30pm. We told them that was okay and we were getting our things to go anyway. We arrived right 2:40pm and was just going to get an appetizer. The guy up front then said oh well we already shut everything down therefore you won’t be able to order anything. I asked why does the sign state 3pm-4:30pm if that was the case and why does it state the same hours online. I then told him they should charge the sign. I’ve been going to this place for a long time and trying not to get caught in my feelings but it felt like they just didn’t want us there and the customer service just was not there to assure me different. My mom and I are both African American……

My server Cat was wonderful. However the food was very mid. The presentation was off as well. The sushi was big and dry. The potbelly was over salted. The margarita tasted like kool-aid. And the restaurant has a slight smell of old fish. I spent 138$ and was definitely disappointed had been wanting to try Pisces for sometime. Especially after the reviews And unfortunately wnt be returning.
