Melting Pot - Midtown NC

Everything is always exceptional!! We just came back from our honeymoon and had to come by for a date night at one of our favorite spots. Loved that they decorated the strawberries to look like a bride and groom! The food is great, but the servers and managers always go out of their way to make a special night memorable. Shoutout to Steve!

Very pleasant experience. Came on a Wednesday evening at 6:30pm for their Crave Combo. $38 for two for a cheese and dessert fondue, bar dining only. There were three bar seats left so I was able to snag two for my friend and I. Our server was very friendly and efficient. I liked that they did notice my friend and I were catching up and talking a lot so they did minimal interruptions which is always appreciated and didnt feel forced on their behalf either. We decided on the Alpine cheddar fondue that came with vegetables, bread, apples and grapes. The smell of the cheese was not the best but it was very delicious. We added the sausage dippers and they were great. I also added their garden salad which was delicious! It tasted super fresh and the vinaigrette gave it a sweet but subtle taste and it all paired well with the cheese fondue. We decided on the ying and yang chocolate fondue was it was great to enjoy a nice sweet treat after the cheese and catching up with my friend. All delicious. Came with brownie, rice crispier, starters, banana and pound cake bites. It had been a while since I had visited and im glad I did. Not expensive for the two of us and honestly it was all very filling and nice for a Wednesday dinner. Definitely will be back.

Great happy hour at The Melting Pot! Christian was an awesome bartender – super friendly, made great drinks, and kept the vibe fun. Definitely recommend sitting at the bar with him!

Went here for my husband & i anniversary & had the most amazing experience. Ordered the four course meal it came w cheese fondue, a salad of your choice, 2 entrees and chocolate fondue. Atmosphere was great and wait staff were out of this world. A dining experience we will never forget and memories we will cherish forever.

We come here every year for my birthday the Melting Pot never fails to amaze me! This is my favorite restaurant and favorite melting pot location that I've been to!!! The staff are all super nice and accommodating. The birthday decor you can purchase is so worth it. The food is always super fresh and delicious. You will be absolutely stuffed by the time you leave here. Also my favorite drinks ever are here including the strawberry blonde martini. Only downsides are it is pricy and sometimes th seafood is a hit or miss.

Loved the atmosphere. They did not have my table set to our anniversary package i paid for but they did fix it while we walk away from the table. The food awesome. Ive never tried duck and i wanna say it is something i will definitely try again. They were kind and coirteous. Definitely enough food to fill you up. The bouillon pot to cook your food made it so tender. It was really good. Even the veggies.

Great place! Went here for my birthday and the service was amazing (shoutout Christian) as well as the food. Will come back next year.

We were out celebrating my daughter’s birthday and we had an amazing time! The food was great, drinks were awesome, and Ayden was attentive and great! My daughter received a personalized card and dessert with Happy Birthday on the plate. She truly loved it! I would definitely recommend and thank you again, Ayden!

What an amazing restaurant! My wife and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary here and they blew our minds! I made the reservation a few days in advance and they offered me some celebration packages for an additional cost that would be added to the bill at the end of our dinner. We had a bundle of roses in a vase on our table which we were allowed to take home with us. We also had rose pedals scattered throughout our table with candlelight. When we got seated, they offered to take a picture of us which they also printed out and gave to us!! We have never experienced fondue dining before, but our waitress was very accommodating and helped us to understand what came with our meal. We spent about 2 hours dining after which they came out with 2 glasses of champagne with little heart shaped strawberries on the rim!! We had plenty of alone time at our table to talk without being interrupted by staff which helped us to enjoy our time together. These guys really know how to make someone feel special and create a memorable dining experience. Cannot recommend enough, especially for special romantic occasions. They made me look really good to my wife!!

Cozy, welcoming experience with amazing food. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by multiple staff members, and shown to our booth by the manager (I think). Both him and our server got us acquainted with the Melting Pot. Our server was great (I think his name was Jackson). He was attentive but unobtrusive which was great as we were celebrating our anniversary. All of the courses were tasty, especially the Alpine fondue and the pork tenderloin. We were both very impressed!

First time coming back to Melting Pot in over ten years. We requested a more private table which was accommodated. We ordered the “bigger night out for two” and it was fant!! Our server, Natasha, provided us with phenomenal service throughout our experience. All of the good was fresh and the salads super yummy. See you all in the future and thank you for a great date night!

The food was excellent. Service was phenomenal , our waitress was great. We never run out of anything she was very attentive. We where a party of 10 you have to make reservations for that. Many people. I would highly recommend the melting pot Midtown. Charlotte NC ..

Came for Thursday date nite - $59pp you get a four course meal. Upstairs has cozy booths. Food was fairly plentiful - we left full. Service was excellent.

Our service was amazing! The waiter we had was named Jackson and he was extremely kind and attentive and helped us through all of our ordering! It was our first time so we have a few questions but he was patient, helpful, and made our experience delightful. We will definitely be coming back soon. Food was amazing!

It was our first time at this location and Madison was amazing! The manager came around with some cheese and jam pairings they were trying out and it was delicious. Everything was made well and the service was wonderful. The experience definitely made our anniversary/Star Wars day special.

Made reservations to celebrate my anniversary and then executed my request even put us in an intimate corner. We loved each course, especially the salmon with our entree, and the server and floor manager were very attentive. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Just as wonderful as I always remembered it being. Our server was fantastic, explaining things we didn't know, and stayed on top of things. Food was dee-lish, and my friend and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! We were there to celebrate both our birthdays that were earlier in August. Only thing that was negative was that it was very chilly when we came in. But we warmed up once the pots were hot and we were eating. A++ in my book!

We had a great time!! We did the Thursdate full course meal and it was well worth it. The drinks were good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable. She was kind. The ambiance was nice. We are definitely going back.

This was my wife and I third visit to The Melting Pot (first time at the Midtown Charlotte location), and it was just as amazing as expected. We came to celebrate our 2-year anniversary and treated ourselves to the four-course dinner for two—starting with the spinach artichoke cheese dip, Caesar and strawberry vinaigrette salads, the steak lovers and Pacific Rim entrées, and of course, the best part: the Ying Yang chocolate fondue for dessert. Everything was flavorful and perfectly portioned, and the staff truly made the night feel special. Our waitress was so kind and attentive—always ready with more dippers or water refills without us even asking. Prices have gone up a bit, likely due to inflation, but the quality and experience make it more than worth it. We always tip in cash and hope the 20% suggestion means the staff is treated well, because they absolutely deserve it. Thank you for another memorable evening—we’ll be back for our next special occasion!

We had an 80th birthday for my husband last night. It was fantastic! I had 15 people ages 13-80 and they all loved the experience. The food was amazing and the service outstanding thanks to Jackson and the manager. Would not hesitate the recommend for any occasion.

I’ve been wanting to try The Melting Pot in Charlotte North Carolina for a long time. My boyfriend and I just decided to take a ride. It was a Monday night and believe it or not, it was still pretty busy. Our server Liam was unbelievable. He was so funny and courteous and very knowledgeable. He was one of the best servers we’ve ever had. The food was really great as well! We had the four course meal and of course had to add a lobster tail. Everything was really delicious and fresh. The dark chocolate fondue might have been my favorite. Will definitely go back!

Unlike the Huntersville location, this Melting Pot is super cool, kids and family-friendly. They manage to find a perfect place to each type of guest! Totally loved service, waiter and manager! My family including kids was very happy to have a dinner there.

I brought my son for the first time to celebrate his 21st Birthday!! The staff were so friendly and made a big deal out of his special evening!! Memories made there from tonight and even prior to are cherished!!

I’m a little behind on food posts! The Melting Pot, near metropolitan in Charlotte. Excellent service, plenty of food, we left full! We did the full blown $110 for a 4 course meal for 2, plus the extra $14 for the lobster tail. Everything was wonderful but I would skip the lobster tail next time. Not worth it, I’ve had better flavored lobster other places. We’re really glad we tried it though! Took pictures of a couple of tables where they were celebrating birthdays and anniversaries with balloons and rose petals on the table. Apparently they do a special on Thursdays where the rose petals and the candles are free. Very nicely done, unique experience if you wanted to try something different. We loved, absolutely loved the loaded baked potato cheddar cheese fondu, went with coq au vin for broth and the dark and dulce chocolate with sea salt for dessert fondue. Excellent flavors and cool dipping sauces too. Curry, green goddess, sweet chili, teriyaki, blue cheese, cocktail sauce. We are probably going to do more of the à la cart, choose for meats, and do the new cast iron skillet instead of the broth to try that cooking method.

Went to this location recently and had a great experience. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Our waitress’s name was Lauren and she was very helpful and welcoming. Overall this dining experience was five stars. Would recommend.

As someone who was diagnosed with a dairy allergy later in life, I thought I’d have to give up my favorite restaurant. The Melting Pot has come up with a perfect solution! The vegan cheese that they use is so delicious that even my dairy loving husband enjoys it. They can turn almost any of their cheese fondues into a dairy free version. They are very knowledgeable about the dips and entrees and will work with you to make it delicious and safe. The dairy free chocolate is also super tasty and pairs well with all of the dairy free dippers. You can customize the chocolate fondue to your taste, too. They go above and beyond with making your dining experience enjoyable and memorable.

Jackson was absolutely amazing! He made us feel so welcome and took amazing care of us. When we come back we will be requesting him! He made sure my birthday dinner was perfect!

First time at Melting Pot and we had a wonderful time. The server did a great job explaining the menu. We ordered a 4-course plan for 2 which offered great variety. The food was tasty and fondue process made for a different but fun process. Very enjoyable experience.

We had an incredible experience at The Melting Pot in Charlotte! The food was absolutely fantastic. Flavorful, fresh, and so much fun to enjoy. Our server, Madisyn, went above and beyond to make the evening special. Her attentiveness, friendliness, and knowledge of the menu made the whole experience even better. The overall service and atmosphere far surpassed our expectations. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Christian is an excellent server and is very personable and professional. I loved how he took the time to actually talk to me and my wife. We will definitely request him for the next time we come in.

This is an extraordinary value and dining experience. We had the works: Cheese fondue to start, then excellent lettuce wedge salad, then meats and shellfish (3 ginormous shrimp and a lobster tail) with a broth pot, ending with chocolate. It took a long time, so we were able to enjoy a long evening with the entertainment of a vast selection of choices. We could not eat all of the veggies and meats, so we precooked our meats, and took the leftovers home for a stir fry. Also I had the white wine flight, which was also an amazing value, 3 lovely crisp wines for $14. I think they were 4 oz pours each, served on a chilled wooden tray.

Amazing experience. They have a great variety of food selections and cooking styles. We got the big night out and the ingredients were very flavorful and well-marinated. The service was okay since our server was not too attentive. Overall, great food and atmosphere for a romantic dining experience.

Food was amazing, the flavors and pacing of the meal here is great, if you've never tried the dairy free cheese fondue it's pretty good. Our waiter was super friendly! My only issue was that the manager brought out the wrong bread (celiac) thankfully I caught it and he was apologetic. It was our 9 year anniversary and they used to do more private spots for anniversaries but we were seated right on the floor, just something to be aware of if you make a reservation expecting to be more isolated. Overall it was a good experience and we will be returning, we just miss the atmosphere of some of the other melting pots we have visited.

Our server, Cherokee, was a delight. He was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable of the menu. Service was 5 stars for sure. The food was also good (the dessert was the best part for sure)! The only disappointing part were the Caesar salads. The dressing was watery and had no taste to it on either of our salads. Not a deal breaker for coming back, though. :)

I know fondue places go in and out of fashion every other generation I’m just ready for them to modernize. This is such a fun experience. I think more people would come more often if they really modernized and I know that’s hard to do having the fondue stations at every table. Outside of that this is one on my favorite places to enjoy people while sharing a meal.

My boyfriend and I frequent this location to the point the front end staff recognize us but after our most recent visit, I don’t think I will go back. Our waiter was inattentive; I could get over that as we like our privacy but I cannot get over being served dirty plates with the waiter attempting to scrap off the hardened food with his nail as if we would not notice. Disgusting. While I love this place and the staff for the most part are welcoming, certain things cannot be looked past.
