First time I’ve ordered and will definitely order from here again! Lamb was succulent and my sons chicken the same! Great flavours too :) definitely recommend

This is a top notch curry take away. The tikka masala was very very good tonight but as always all the food is great. Lovely service.

We ordered a banquet for 20 people and it was delivered on time and was absolutely superb They set up on a table with platters and were very hygienic and extremely polite Food was excellent and they went that little bit further to make it a stunning meal Thankyou very much

Nice curry, chicken dansak , keema naan could have done with meat in it was tasteless. Overall ok.

Meat was nice and tender, but the chicken madras curry was swimming in oil as they used far too much ghee for my liking.

50% of the food was ok, Chettinad was gross, chicken and beef tough, peshwari and keema naan both charcoal on one side, the rice was good, what a waste of money. Won’t be going back.

Decided to try Spice Lodge for a second time after not massively enjoying it a few months ago. For a second time we were disappointed. The food was bland and tasteless. A jar of curry sauce from Tesco would have been nicer. The naan also didn't taste of much and had a rubbery texture. Not happy when we spent over £30 on the meal.

Tried this a second time not very nice. It appears to myself that bishops Cleeve Lacks agood Indian takeaway . Spice lodge where it used to be was really good food but now they moved to Cleeve Not so good taste and the nan bread not cook through . I will give it one more go .

Decided to give it a tey for my Birthday, Lamb Korma was very nice,slight problem though as i ordered a Lamb Passanda, checking other reviews it seem s that not getting what you ordered is a common occurrence

3rd time I have used them. Never again. Deliberatly changed my order without telling me, probably because it was easier that way. Plus what turned up awful. Should be better at these prices.

Absolutely disgusting didn’t Evan no what chicken curry was the chips are something you get from Aldi keema naan had no cheese vile don’t waste your money vile go saffron lounge much better

Disappointing… lack of chicken in both dishes .. Flavour / spices mediocre .. others have commented that Spice Lodge was always excellent but Spice Kitchen isn’t !! We wont use again

Have used Spice Lodge a few times since it has opened. But last nights takeaway was really disappointing. Lamb Biryani that was lacking a decent piece of lamb. Genuinely looked like rice with 8 tiny pieces of tough meat mixed through. 3 different curries that all tasted virtually the same except the amount of coconut. The naan was tough and tasteless and the pilau rice isn’t pilau at all. A real shame, I’m happy to pay the money but you expect a decent quality product. This is a place that’s lost it’s way.

Placed online order which was excepted and payment taken. Then got message from Spice Lodge saying they had decided to close early and could not deliver. Told refund would take 5 days! Would have been more customer friendly if takeaway had advised their payment platform they were closing early. Terrible customer service and when I called takeaway the gentleman sounded completely uninterested. Maybe he'd had a really bad day, we've all had those but customer service and good food is what makes customers return. I like to support local businesses but sadly won't try again. I await receiving my refund.

My partner and I ordered a takeaway last Friday and we were both left feeling very disappointed. The food had no flavour. The rice, curry and naan all somehow tasted the same. It’s not spice lodge, it’s more like bland palace. We won’t be going back.

Ordered online for the 1st time. My usual saffron was shut today, so thought we'd try the one on gotherington . Wish we hadn't. Took 7 attempts for the payment to go through, kept getting stuck. When it did go through, it took 15minutes until it was ready to collect . Decided to collect as it was an extra £2 for delivery and I live less than half a mile away. Collected it, got it home. We ordered pilau rice and korma, and was supposed to be a mixed naan ( cheese , garlic and keema) The naan was pretty much empty and tastless, def no garlic and minimal everything. Wish I'd taken a photo. The curry was runny and sloppy with 3 pieces of chicken which wasn't fresh and tastes like it had just been defrosted, it was also tasteless and no flavour whatsoever, the rice again no flavour, and when mixed together it became so watery I had to drain it twice. Def not a freshly cooked meal and out the microwave. Even tescos frozen curry for £2 has more taste. Really disappointed and ded will not be buying from there again. Definitaly doesn't live up to its name of "SPICE lodge" Will be sticking to my usual at saffron lounge , the korma has full flavour, thicker, chicken pieces are large fresh and tender, and the rice is how it should be cooked , naans are always full of the ingredients that should be in them, sometimes too much as they over flow. And the delivery in bishops cleeve is free within 3miles.

Hate leaving independent businesses bad reviews, however our takeaway this evening was unacceptable. Naan bread was an abomination. Korma was wet and almost no flavour. Pilau rice was white and wet (maybe they sent the wrong rice?). Altogether a real disappointment. We have used saffron lounge for years and fancied giving spice Lodge a try. When Muhammad ran the spice lodge in Cheltenham it was fantastic, I can't understand how they have got it this wrong. Customer service was great both on the phone and a follow up text. Offered refund or a discount on next order which I politely refused as we did eat the food. I hope they can improve as bishops cleeve has a huge demand for Indian takeaway.

Ordered in advance via just eat in the afternoon for delivery at quarter to six and it arrived an hour late. It was not only very cold but no flavour at all. I can honestly say the worst curry we have ever had!!!

One of the worst Korma’s I’ve ever had. Not even creamy and looked like it had been watered down. Normally go to the Saffron Lounge and sorry I didn’t last night!

Really disappointed, no flavours, both dishes tasted the same. Bloody annoyed, looked forward to tasty Indian, would not recommend. Trying to be polite 🤬
