Big, juicy meaty crabs.. about 35 mins from my house, definitely worth the drive. The flavor of the crabs is amazing.. I consider myself a crab lover and they do not disappoint.

Stopped in to grab some seasoning and was shocked to see shrimp salad. Had to grab it and was so worth it.

The best crabs and shrimp! Quality 5 stars, price is very affordable. Something only locals know about. You will have to wait for what you're ordering. They won't start till you are there. 8/8/17 Once again great tasting crabs at a wonderful price. The seasoning is the best!

I’ve been having family gatherings for the past 3 years and have been getting my crabs from the Crab Shack and they have been a hit each time , the crabs are juicy, fresh and seasoned to perfection and everyone loved the crabs and at the end of the event the 2 bushels were completely gone and we actually could have used a few more . Thank you !

A big crab-loving family, we're usually good for a few bushel a season. Tried the crab shack 2 years ago and haven't gone anywhere since. They are the best around! Never any bad crabs, always meaty and flavourful, seasoned and cooked perfectly. We're close by but my father in law lives in PA and will only get his crabs from here now. Worth the drive for sure.

I've been going here for years for crabs. Every time I try someplace else, because a friend has a place, I'm always disappointed. My father was friends with the owner and I've been in the backroom where they steam the crabs. I really appreciate the quality control they have. The Crab Shack ensures each crab is alive before cooking it. Nothing worse then spending money on dead crabs, but not here. The staff has always been friendly when I go here. I trust this place so much that I drive from Wilmington to Chesapeake City to buy crabs here. They sell clams, crawfish and other seafood. I'll have to get the crawfish next time I go.

Ordered a bushel of #1's in advance and they were the largest crabs I've seen in a long time. They were ready on time and pick-up was easy in, easy out. Delicious and meaty! Highly recommended.

First time getting crabs from here. Was well worth the 45 minute ride. Got a bushel of #1's and not a single bad crab. Cooked just right and everyone couldn't stop talking about how good the were. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

Crabs and shrimp are some of the Best, but seasoning on the crabs are way too much. If you ask for light seasoning, it's still too much. Not sure if they even consider that ppl. Want what they ask for. And for the price, they should be able to get it. My parents aren't able to enjoy the crabs because of the seasoning. Everyone can't have all that for medical reasons.

Never had anything other than Excellent crabs in 20 plus years, quality, quantity, and taste is superb. I buy crabs NO where else. Have attempted on a few occasions when I did not order n last minute company arrived. On those few occasions that I had no choice, NOTHING COMPARES TO CRAB SHACK! All friends, family, n extended family all 100 percent agree n will not order anywhere else either. Only these crabs 🦀 enter our food chain.

If you are looking for MD crabs on the Northern Part of the Eastern Shore....This is your place to go. Always good quality, great seasoning, reasonable prices. Make sure you call ahead because they are so good they always sell out!

I visited for the first time this weekend, and the seafood was fantastic. I got a few pieces of salmon for a special occasion, and sea scallops as an extra treat because they looked great. I baked salmon very simply (minimal olive oil, salt, pepper) and everyone who tasted it loved it. I did have to remove scales, but the skin crisped up fantastically and the salmon was just great. The scallops needed no prep. I added salt and pepper, then pan seared the scallops tonight in butter and they were also perfect. The seafood was fresh, tasty, and the prices are reasonable for the quality I got. Will be back!

I have had crabs, shrimp, rockfish and picked crab meat. They also place my order in a bag of ice for my cooler. I stop whenever nearby.

This was around 10:50pm and not busy at all. They just had 1 group of 2. I'm the sure how my order would be incorrect. The flavor was good. I wouldn't mind coming back but I recommend everyone to verify your food before you leave just in case.

Called on Thursday 6/15/17 to reserve 1/2 bushel of # 1 crabs for Saturday at 130pm. They are always in a hurry to get off the phone- they act like you are bothering them. And of course when someone arrived to pick up crabs on Saturday , they couldn't fine my order! When crabs finally did arrive to my house and we started eating, THE CRABS WERE SMALL AND DEFINITELY NOT THE NUMBER 1's I HAD PAID FOR! The crabs were barely bigger than a top of a beer can. The crabs were good as usual but not the #1s I paid for . Totally dispointed in the lack of customer service and the accuracy of my order.

Bought 1/2 bushels of crabs it's lot for just me and my wife but we love MD blue crabs. Came home ready to dig in but all the crabs were either dry old meat or or was not full. For a $95 We expected better but I guess not all Maryland crabs are good to eat.

I paid $110 for two dozen and more than half the crabs had green meat or little to no meat at all. Totally disappointed in the crabs that were pasted of as number 1 males in the state. The place was closing and instead of being honest and charging us according to what they had. We paid the number price for a half bushel of small to regular sized crabs.

The crabs here have always tasted good, sizes a little wonky but the one star is because the last 2 times I have Attempted to reserve crabs the phone is busy and I have Called multiple times (like 40 times) a week before needing them. Phone always busy and both times When I finally Got thru I was told to call back later in the week. After calling back (phone constantly busy again) and getting thru I was told to call back the day I needed the crabs only to call and told they were sold out. If you don’t take preorders than say that. Lost my business

Ordered 1's as well and was disappointed (2nd time). I'm African American and if I didn't know any better?

We ordered crabs on Sunday takeout they were 145.00 a 1/2 bushel. Worst crabs I've ever had. They honestly looked like peelers. They were definitely overcooked to where some were actually black, the meat was hard to get out. disappointing is an understatement. won't be back and definitely not referring. We eat crabs all the time.

I have been a customer of the Crab Shack for years but my last visit on Sat 8/22 was so disappointing. I called in the morning and placed an order for a half bushel of #1 males. I specifically asked them to go light on the seasoning for health reasons. I even called back a second time and reiterated. So I go and pick them up and get them home... uugghhh. The crabs were loaded with seasoning, so much we had to rinse them off. They tasted very salty like they had been soaking in the seasoning 🤢. The #1’s were more like #3’s.... and a lot of them were overcooked. So disappointing after spending $110..... smh. I highly doubt if I will be returning or referring anyone else to them.
