Thai Mukda is a true gem — a cozy, family-owned spot with the kindest people. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. I ordered the lunch special ginger pad chicken with veggies and it was so good — flavorful, perfectly cooked, and it felt like a really wholesome, healthy meal (not heavy or greasy). I also tried the Thai tea with lime, which was refreshing and a really nice twist. Great food, warm service, and a super cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!
Dined in on a Saturday evening. It's a very small seating area but luckily we got a booth! Kind of bummed they were out of salmon because we wanted to try to salmon curry. However the noodles and stir fry dishes were amazing. Prepared quickly and very flavorful. We will be back to hopefully get the salmon!
My wife and I have had Thai food all across the country and this cute and cozy, family-run restaurant is our new favorite. Lunch service is quick (we dine-in over my lunch hour), and it’s quite affordable, but the flavor is absolutely top-notch! It’s very good and they are so friendly!
Popped in for lunch...was sat immediately. Service was quick and they offered a lunch special which came with either a small salad or cup of soup along with spring roll. Chicken Pad Kra Pao Gai...Thai hot was delicious and a very nice size portion for lunch. Seats 24...a lot of takeout and the lunch price was less then $20 including tip.
Thai Mukda is one of those rare places that gets it. I’m a foodie, and consistency matters to me more than almost anything. When you have a craving, you want that exact memory to come back through the food the same flavors, the same execution, every time. Thai Mukda absolutely nails this. The preparation and flavors are incredibly consistent, visit after visit. You know exactly what you’re getting, and it always delivers. On top of that, the owners and staff are exceptional. They genuinely remember me every time I walk in. They say hello, ask how my family is, and even remember people I’ve brought with me before. That level of care is rare and makes you feel truly welcomed not just like another customer. Places like this deserve real support. If you’re craving great Thai food and want to back an outstanding local business, don’t pass this one up.
A wonderful surprise in West County. We visited Thai Mukda on a rainy day with a group of three and were seated almost immediately. We ordered tom yum soup, a curry, and a stir-fry—every dish had fresh ingredients and deeply authentic flavors. Honestly, this is the best Thai food I’ve had in the St. Louis area and fully on par with some of our favorite Thai spots in San Francisco. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the whole experience felt unpretentious and focused on delivering truly authentic Thai cuisine. Such a delightful find in a Chesterfield strip mall. We’ll absolutely be back.
Sawadee ka! Tor is so nice and welcoming every time I come in to the restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and the food makes me keep coming back! I have tried most of the menue and everything is HAHAHAHAHA STARS! (55555 Stars) They always make sure to check to see if the meal has met my standards and give me extra chili's because they know I love it spicy! I love to come here very often. I tried this place last week and immediately started planning for my next visit. I drove 10 miles out of the way just to go by here. This is the best Asian food I have ever had. Lunch special is a great value. It is a main dish which is portion appropriate and comes with soup or salad, a spring roll and Wonton. There is only a handful of tables in their dining room so plan accordingly. Carry out might be the best option.
Best Thai food in St Louis with such good price. Owner and chefs are so friendly and good energy around! Definitely will take my whole family here very soon
We stopped in for a late lunch today. All the food came out steaming and delicious. I had the pineapple curry with chicken and it didn’t disappoint! The chicken Satay and dumplings were a fav for our kids. To finish up we all shared the purple rice pudding, we never had anything like it, it was so good!! Our waitress took great care of us and she was very efficient. We felt so welcome, everyone there was so nice, the chef came out to check if we were enjoying everything and put a personal touch on our experience. We are not often in the area but when we are next, I’d love to go back!

Service was prompt and attentive right from the start. Our server was not only friendly but also knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations for both appetizers and main courses. We felt well taken care of throughout the meal. The food exceeded our expectations. Every dish was cooked to perfection, full of authentic Thai flavor and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were generous, we even had leftovers to take home, which we were more than happy about. Overall, Thai Munda delivered an outstanding dining experience. From the ambiance to the service and, most importantly, the food, everything was spot on. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be bringing friends and family!

This place is a great find with the most amazing Thai Tea. The service was phenomenal with taste the balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy in every dish, from the rich and creamy curries to the aromatic stir-fries and tangy noodle Thai Pad.
I really enjoyed the food, it is fresh with yummy non greasy sauces. Everything in the dinner menu can be turned into vegetarian / vegan if Tofu is chosen as protein option.

Food was exceptional with lovely flavors and tasted very clean enjoyed everything all the plates at other tables looked and smelled delicious everyone else in the restaurant really seemed to be enjoying as much as we did! Highly recommend. Small seeting area intimate feeling.
Many others have talked about how delicious the food is, how lovely the atmosphere is, and how polite the staff are. I concur, but want to write this review from a different position: from that of a spice fiend. The restraunt advertises 1 as mild, and 5 as "Thai hot." This seems broadly true, from the other patrons I've interacted with to the owner, Thâw, who has corroborated that he doesn't typically order anything above a 5. On whim, a friend and myself asked if there was anything above a 5, and he said yes, he can make any level of spice. So pictured is my Spice Level 25 Panag Curry, and the endorphin rush post-meal is the best that I've had. Fellow spice fiends, if you are looking for something spicy, then look no further. Satiate the desire to order something incredibly spicy, and order from here. No longer will anyone steal your leftovers (if, God forbid, you leave any) for fear of biting into a succulent dish that would leave the unwashed masses clutching at their mouth.
Favourite food: pineapple curry with chicken from Thai Mukda! The front of house staff are lovely and kind. The food though, omg, piping hot and made perfectly every single time. Ive started coming here twice a week because the curry dinner is such a large serving for $16, I save it for another meal or two. So so good

Five stars isn’t enough! Thai Mukda is a hidden gem that radiates love in every bite. The food was beyond amazing…flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. I had the drunken noodles and a Thai iced coffee, and both were out of this world. The service was just as incredible….the staff are so kind, warm, and genuinely compassionate. You can feel the love from the moment you walk in. It was more than worth it. This place is a whole experience,comforting, inspiring, and delicious. Highly recommend!
Thai Mukda is the best thai place in Chesterfield! I tried the Chicken Satay and the dumplings and it was incredible. The owners are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome! I highly recommend Thai Mukda to everyone! It is a must try.
It's like they dont believe u when u tell em u like it 4 outta 5 spicy. It was a 2 at best. They had to bring spives on side and like mine cooked n.....on a good note tho, u do get mor than ur monies worth during lunchtime. Service is always very friendly and they go the extra mile.
