Wheweeee, did I EAT up some food here. LOL! I was visiting family in St. Louis and we decided to grab dinner here. ‘Tis the season, so we did have a reservation. Of course, the restaurant was all decked out for the holidays, which gave it a lovely ambiance. Our waiter, Kevin, was delightful. His friendliness and professionalism added to the perfect atmosphere. We were rolling 4 deep and feasted on crab cakes, calamari, clam chowder, crawfish etouffe, fried crawfish, and fried seafood platters (with the oyster add on). It was all delicious. I’m from Louisiana, so this was such a nice surprise for me. The restaurant validates your parking ticket. If it’s a holiday week or any weekend, you will definitely need a reservation as this is a popular spot. Happy Holidays!
We had dinner here and it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Service was amazing, and the food was incredible, especially the seafood, which was fresh and came in generous portions. The cocktails and mocktails were also delicious. Highly recommend!
My pre-birthday lunch here was amazing. The staff was kind and the food was outstanding 👌 from the appetizers to the entrees and the surprise dessert at the end of my meal. I would definitely come again as there are so many other items I want to try.
Josh made our experience at Landry’s absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. His energy was warm and professional, and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. His recommendations were spot on. He suggested the surf and turf, and it was perfectly prepared, the steak was tender and flavorful, and the seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. The filet mignon was easily one of the best we’ve had !!! melt-in-your-mouth, seasoned beautifully, and cooked exactly as requested. And the Chilean sea bass? Unreal. Buttery, flaky, and perfectly balanced it truly lived up to the hype. Josh didn’t just take our order; he guided the entire experience. He was attentive without hovering, kept our drinks filled, paced the meal perfectly, and made us feel completely taken care of. It felt like fine dining with a personal touch. The food was incredible, but Josh’s service is what made the night unforgettable. If you’re dining at Landry’s, do yourself a favor and ask for Josh, you won’t regret it!!
Best Happy Hour I have been too in a very long time!. 3:30 - 6:30 perfect, you can get your parking validated. Food was delicious drinks were tasty. Try the Lavender Martini. Our Barttender/ Server was awesome even with a packed bar!!! All around great experience.
the service here has been so amazing!! our server Josh was so amazing and very knowledgeable!! he made our experience so so amazing and the food was beyond amazing!! we will definitely be coming back!!!
First time here and lawd you better believe I’ll be back. Everything was AMAZING! Every staff member was top notch from the host to the chef. I walked in 30 mins before close and felt bad. The host greeted me warmly, sat me quickly, and made sure to tell me not to rush. She offered the cocktail menu and when I said I don’t drink alcohol, she mentioned their various n/a options! She introduced my server by name before I even met him, which I thought was classy. I said out on the patio overlooking the koi pond. Beautiful view with nice people watching. Then my server Josh came in with all the warmth and energy. Dude broke down the specials and described everything in a way that made me want to order the whole menu. I ordered the strawberry basil lemonade, surf and turf Melissa special with filet minion, scallops, and blackened shrimp skewers, and the strawberry gooey butter cake. When I said it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, I’m not exaggerating. Beautiful presentation, well seasoned, perfect serving size. Had me almost licking the plate! Josh was quick with refills, engaging and personable with all his tables, and overall passionate about his job. When the chef walked by my table after clocking out, Josh made sure to shout him out. The patrons cheered and thanked him on his way out! Overall I stayed about 30 minutes after they closed to finish my meal. They didn’t rush me at all. Just kept providing top notch service. This is one of the spots that make St. Louis such a great city. Can’t wait to be back. Ya’ll. Come. Eat. Here.
Expectations blown out of the water. Great service and phenomenal food. The fried seafood is perfectly done. Fun bayou vibe
Josh was a wonderful waiter, told us all about the best food options. And the food was amazing! Oysters and Maine Lobster tail!!
Landry’s at Union Station was fantastic! I'm not big on seafood but it's what my brother-in-law choose for lunch so we went with it From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting. You could tell you were about to get some excellent food. Our server, Josh, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offed great recommendations. My sister, brother-in-law and I all had each of the 3 specials offered. The food was 10/10! If you're looking for quality seafood and outstanding service in a beautiful setting, Landry’s is a must-visit. **Highly recommend!** **Even better, parking at the Union Station is $1 per 15 mins or $40 for 8-12 hours (something along those lines) and you get a card to get out of the parking lot free from eating here.**
We were seated pretty quickly. The foot was delicious and came out super fast. Our server was Sierra and she was absolutely amazing. She had a wonderful attitude and was super attentive. We have been several times and she was by far our best server experience.
This is my first time having the pleasure of visiting St. Louis. Multiple people recommended Landry's seafood house to me. I had an absolutely incredible experience with Josh. As my server, he had a fabulous recommendation of the Chilean sea bass by far one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Not only is the service incredible But anything you order on the menu is Shirley going to satisfy?Thank you again , josh for the incredible experience!!!
My husband and I eloped on 01/20/26 so he picked this restaurant for us to have dinner at. The food was absolutely amazing! Everything was seasoned perfectly and their steak was the best steak I have ever eaten. It was easy to cut and I didn’t even need the A-1 sauce for it. Also, I could eat their salad every day. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great experience!
Quite good and perfectly located near the Union Station Hotel. The service was outstanding (prompt & attentive without being overbearing). I had the iceberg wedge salad with a very tasty, clearly homemade, bleu cheese dressing. Followed that up with the blackened redfish etoufee. Here, the fish filet was cooked well but the blackened seasoning didn’t carry as much flavor as I expected. The broccoli could have used about 30 more seconds in the steamer. The dirty rice, however, was flavorful and perfectly done. Prices here were quite reasonable for the quality. Lastly, the environment around the restaurant on a beautiful fall day was awesome, koi pond and all!
We were seated immediately. If concerned about a wait time, reservations are available. The service was good. The drinks are strong, so if you drink drink don't expect to be knocked off your feet. The entree i preferred was no longer offered, but still on the menu. Although I thought the presentation of my food could've been better, I enjoyed my red fish. Overall 4 out of for me.
Landry's is a restaurant with great ambience. When you walk in, you would think that there would be a dress code. Instead, this well established seafood restaurant is perfect for a first date, solo dinner, catching up with friends lunch spot, anniversary dinner or birthday celebration. The staff were professional, polite, and efficient. Our food was hot and well seasoned. My salmon was slightly on the dry side, but the crab that is was topped with was superb! The honey mustard sauce that came with my salmon was excellent - and I don't even like honey mustard sauce!! My husband said the sauce on his maple bourbon glazed salmon is what saved it for him because the salmon wasn't really seasoned. We both loved the broccoli and mashed potatoes. His dessert was given to him because it was his birthday. He loved the bread pudding...!!
At Union Station, the restaurant is perfect after a day enjoying all activities Union Station has to offer. While we had no reservation, the restaurant was able to accommodate us. The decor gives it an elegant fine dining feel. However, the entrees say otherwise as the portions are relatively small, perhaps do to fact it was lunch time. Our server lacked knowledge, and her disposition was cold and matter of fact, as not being from the area, we asked for recommendations of the house specialties, and while there is a section in the menu highlighting them, she said there weren't any. We asked to recommend a popular wine from their selection, and she could not offer any suggestions or just referred us to the wine list. It was unfortunate, i highly recommend that employees get familiarized with the menu and wine list. It would make for a better dining experience for all guests. The size portion of the entrees was small, but it was delicious. I would return, but it was certainly not the best overall experience.
Took my mom out to celebrate her birthday. Food was great. The waiter we had seemed as though he just came off orientation and wasn't very familiar with the menu or catch of the day. Instead of choosing a listed dish, we opted for the catch of the day. Our waiter asked another waiter for assistance on how it worked. She told us that it came with two sides and gave her suggestions. After the waiter took our order, I realized neither my mom or myself got a chance to place the side orders. We quickly notified him. He stated that it automatically came with set sides. Differently from what we were previously told. I asked could I have the dirty rice & seasonal veggies and Mashed potatoes and veggies for my mom. When the dishes came out, neither my mom or I got the sides we requested. Brought it to the waiter's attention. He tried to convinced me that orzo were their type of rice... I just said ok and left it as that because I knew it wasn't true. He did brought my mom a side of mash potatoes. The food was very flavorful. The staff were very welcoming to my two young toddlers. Kids meals were pretty in expensive. Probably cheaper than a happy meal! Grace was given to the waiter due to recently starting a new job. He was very apologetic and attentive, frequently checking in. Just wished we had a better experience with someone who was more knowledgeable. While we were eating, a large group was dining behind us and I could hear the other server explaining the menu and I wished I had that. I suspect over time he will get there.
We dined at Landry’s at Union Station with reservations for a party of six and were very disappointed, especially given the upscale atmosphere and high prices. It took over an hour and a half for our food to arrive, and our drinks weren’t served until after the meal was already on the table. To be fair, our server was attentive and not at fault. The delays clearly stemmed from the bar and the kitchen. While most of the food was good, one dish arrived very cold and completely lacking flavor. For a restaurant of this caliber and cost, the service and execution fell far below expectations.
Stopped in after Blues game at the bar here. Overpriced drinks were definitely light on the alcohol. (I would stick with beer here). Bartenders were NOT friendly. Hardly spoke to our group at all. Maybe they were near the end of a long day? Atmosphere was surprisingly quiet for a Union Station spot. Appetizers were decent, nothing great. I doubt we will return.
