Great vibe, lux meets chic. Food was incredible, prepared the steak perfectly, truffle mash potatoes are a must try. Great wine selection.
Food is awesome Waiters make you feel special. I always have a good time. Here are some small plates you may like.
The service here is outstanding! The bar is beautiful they play great music. The food comes out quickly. I love that the bar is a square so you can people watch while sitting at the bar. They have a great Happy hour as well! We are locals and live around the corner and come here just for the restaurant and bar. Well done management!
Amazing food and drinks! Great bartenders that know their craft and are up for a good challenge on classic, rare drinks Knowledgeable, insightful with great suggestions on drinks and very talented with making drinks as well
Delicious breakfast experience! The menu had a mix of sweet and savory options, hearty breakfasts and lighter entrees. Smoothies, juices, and unique lattes also available. The atmosphere and service matched the menu, as far as being above average and adding to the overall enjoyment of the experience.
Excellent service and great atmosphere. The steak was perfect. I recommend trying the white bean dip if it's still on the menu when you go. Kudos to Justin, Eugene, the chefs and entire staff. A great start to my mom's birthday weekend in her hometown.
Went for breakfast- had a great time. The service food and atmosphere were all good. The restaurant is on the 7th floor past the front desk. I ordered tea which was okay, the Chia Pudding which was very refreshing and the Eggs Benedict which was yummy. The Avocado Toast was a bit disappointing.
Speechless 😶!!! I had the chance to visit this restaurant twice , for breakfast and dinner at Four Seasons Chicago Hotel . I cannot explain with words how beautiful is this restaurant, how kind and polite are their servers and how amazing is the food . One of the best restaurants Ive I’ve been. All the food we tried was exactly the way expected. The breakfast with that view of Chicago morning and the dim light at night was the most I enjoyed. Our breakfast server Margarita, that kind and gorgeous lady that make from our morning a paradise , I appreciate so much guys the experience we had in your restaurant. Thank you to all servers that took care of us and to the manager who gave us the warmest welcome !!! Highly recommend
Bravo Richie Farina! You can absolutely predict Adorn is a restaurant in the Four Seasons. As you walk in, the elegant restaurant feels like entering a spot of refined luxury and sophistication. The ambiance is set by soft lighting, elegant decor and plush furnishings, creating an atmosphere of opulence. Muted tones and simple artwork adorned the walls. The table was impeccably set with crisp linens, polished silverware, and sparkling glassware. The menu features a curated selection of gourmet dishes crafted with the finest ingredients, each presented with artistic flair. I tried the tuna tartare which was absolutely beautifully prepared. The octopus was amazing as well. Let me get about 5 orders of that sticky toffee pudding. Attentive and knowledgeable servers provided impeccable service, catering to every need! Loved it!
Enjoyed an early “afternoon” tea with a girlfriend today celebrating our annual trip together and had a very wonderful time. We were seated promptly in a separate area away from the lunch diner, if you wish to spend some private quiet time I would highly recommend to go for this option. Tea menu items are all photogenic and is complete with bubbly as part of the set. Server is attentive and friendly, which you would expect from a place like this. Do note that an automatic 20% is applied to the bill.
The Mother’s Day Brunch at the Four Seasons’ Adorn Restaurant was luxurious and delicious! It was a special occasion meal and it did not disappoint. Though you can enjoy weekend brunch year round, their special occasion affairs are something to behold. The traditional omelette bar is delicious, and there is amazing fresh sushi made as you watch! There’s also smoked salmon, seafood and a carving bar, fresh fruit and a variety of small breakfast items. And did I mention the dessert table with a doughnut wall! It’s family and kid friendly with a lovely view as well. Favorite item, the beet and gin smoked salmon. Yes, it’s pricey, but the memories and photos are worth it!
Outside of being overpriced, I enjoyed Adorn! I attended a friendship celebration where multiple appetizers were ordered. Everything was very good. The Tuna Poke Nachos are a definite. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with crab and a Bloody Mary. Both were excellent. If you’re in the area, stop by. It sits in an inconvenient part of downtown Chicago but street parking is available. Of course, valet is available as well.
Just went for their Holiday Afternoon Tea with my friend for our annual Christmas celebration. I had wanted to do a holiday tea for so long and this one did not disappoint. They start you off with a glass of champagne. My friend is allergic and can’t have champagne and they were very accommodating and let her pick a cocktail that she could have instead so she got an espresso martini. Then you get to pick your tea and they bring out individual tea pots and offer to freshen your hot water throughout. They bring out the most beautiful presentation of savory and sweet bites and scones. Our server even asked us what our favorite savory bites were and brought us an extra round. We loved it and would go again next year! The service was excellent and they include gratuity so it makes it easy.
We stopped in at the adorn bar within the four seasons hotel on Chicago's magnificent Mile just for a few drinks. We appreciate that on a Friday night they had a DJ playing light and upbeat music. It was a fun and lively atmosphere and the bar service was quick and courteous.
Absolutely amazing! Chef Sawyer doesn’t disappoint with fabulous complex flavors layered delicately. The restaurant decor is chic yet not fussy, the cocktails were out of this world, and the desserts were so unique they were like taking a gastronomic trip around the world. Cher Sawyer is an absolute genius in the kitchen, with each of his dishes worthy of a special visit to the restaurant on their own. It was impossible to choose a favorite because they were each the best! Thank you for an unbelievable evening!!
Located in the Four Seasons hotel, I stopped by Adorn Bar & Restaurant for some after dinner drinks and dessert. The service at the bar was outstanding, the carrot cake was unique and fantastic. We will definitely be back!
Stayed at four seasons in Chicago during the holidays the past week and we had breakfast at this place daily. It was spectacular. We lived everything we ordered. The food came out quickly and it was perfectly cooked. Some of the entrees we ordered hasn’t been pictured because I forgot lol. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.
The squash saffron risotto with scallops is delicious and the black velvet dessert was interestingly tasty, especially the gingerbread namelaka. We were celebrating a birthday and our server, Octavio, was friendly and professional. We had a great time!
The Restaurant in inside the Four Seasons on the 7th Floor. There is a great bar with seating directly at the bar or in lounges. The tables are located at the back. The selection on the menu is not too large, but the food is beautifully presented and tastes excellent. The staff are very friendly.
I can’t wait to come back to Adorn ! Our server was Ryder and OMG he is amazing! chef Brian’s creations are just unforgettable… and Mixologist Slava Have created drinkable art! I can’t wait to be back! One of the best Hidden gem in Chicago.
I grew up in Cleveland, and had visited Chef Sawyer's restaurant there on a trip home. I also followed the career of such a notable chef from my hometown. Needless to say, I was excited to hear that he was bringing his talents to Chicago, and Saturday night my wife and I visited for an anniversary dinner. First off, the service was exceptional. We have been cautious due to covid, and no restaurant has made us feel as safe as this one. Despite the distance, there was no lack of warmth from the staff. Everyone seemed genuinely excited to assist us from the moment we entered until the moment we left. On to the food, there's really not much to say other than it's phenomenal. Chef Sawyer's elevated and technique-focused takes on comfort food are a little bit subversive for the posh Four Seasons space, but that makes it even better. The 3-day process to create the chicken wings comes through from the first bite, and the truffle poutine is as good as poutine gets. Being a steak enthusiast, I was please to find the harder-to-find Picanha cut on the menu. It was butchered, cooked, and presented beautifully. My wife's Halibut was rich, sweet, flaky perfection. It's a challenging time to be opening a restaurant, but if you want a safe place to get out and enjoy the work of an incredible chef and team, you can't go wrong picking here.
Love the Orange Blossom Spritz! We also tried Pop Star, very tasty too....Also best jazz I've heard in a long time. #jon nadel trio
We went for brunch and all the food was delicious. We were celebrating a 30th wedding anniversary and they brought a complimentary cake slice that was beautifully decorated.
The food was pretty good and the service was excellent. The ambiance is definitely a plus. Wish the menu had a larger selection.
Our server was incredible. You could tell he had a real passion for the food and had great recommendations. Had a really nice dinner between the amazing food and the great atmosphere.
Fabulous brunch, tried vegan eggs, amazing, felt like regular ones! Recommended!
Excellent and exquisite breakfast / brunch spot. Fantastic and attentive service in such a beautiful restaurant and hotel. DO get biscuits.
Excellent spot for a night out , went with my wife and enjoyed every bit. The host Martina was very helpful and excellent service from Irina and Steven at the bar.
July 17 my grandson treated me to a fabulous dinner at Adorn to celebrate my 80th birthday. I was greeted by the kind and friendly hostess Maggie. Maggie set the tone for the entire evening. I want to thank our waiter Eugene for his thoughtful service (including the celebratory glass of champagne. Rishaun and Ernesto were attentive and extremely professional. The food was an experience all to it’s self. The chef and the pastry chef did an outstanding job preparing and presenting a 5 star meal. I look forward to more dining experiences at Adorn.
Such a great experience! Martina the host was a star and super welcoming. Can’t wait to come back.
Absolutely amazing spot! The restaurant decor is interesting, decent, and bright. Their menu was huge and the desserts were so unique. Their staff was so kind and friendly. They were professional. I had a very nice dinner here at Adorn. Perfect spot for friends and family.
WOW! Tried Adorn for the first time during Restaurant Week. DO IT WHILE YOU CAN!! The four of us tried most of the items on the prix fixe Restaurant Week menu and we were wowed with each and everyone of them. And, it included non-alcoholic drink pairings, each of which were also terrific. Really loved the Seedlip Dessert Wine. Coconut & Squash, Hamachi, Striploin ... yum yum yum. Was not looking forward to the "PB & J" dessert ... boy, was I wrong! It was amazing. It's a pricey restaurant (my Old Fashioned was $23), but you-get-what-you-pay-for. Will definitely go back for our next special occasion.
Beautiful place. We went on a Monday so it was relatively quiet but the space is incredibly nice and the service and food were both outstanding. Has a good number of vegetarian options too which was great. The cocktails are delicious and unique. Food was top notch as well. Everything was at the standard you would expect for the four seasons. Can’t wait to go back and check out their brunch service.
Got away to Chicago on a short trip to Chicago to reconnect with the husband. Fantastic night at Adorn. The food was phenomenal; but the service was the true magic. Hannah and Maracella made our night so very special. True hospitality specialists. They know the little special things to do to make you feel like it is your favorite restaurant that you’ve been frequenting for years. Thank you very much ladies (and my apologies if my spelling of your names are not correct).
I was there a couple weeks ago and I had the best experience at the bar! All the bartenders and staff were really helpful and they gave me good recommendations for new drinks to try. One of the bartenders, Steven, made a tequila drink for my partner that she LOVED. We really enjoyed the live jazz music they had too. Definitely looking forward to going back there in the future
Really good. Came for a birthday celebration on a Saturday, they shared complementary champagne and desert. The service was very attentive, but not overbearing. We had caviar service, pretzels, steak, and the seafood carbonara. Everything was very good. The only things that wasn't perfect was the salmon skin on the carbonara. We will put Adorn on our list to come back to, especially if we stay at the hotel.
My wife and I went to Adorn for breakfast after a night at the Four Seasons. The ambience is classy and the service is very professional. The food quality is solid but on the pricier end.
The bar chairs had half backs that aren’t good for long-term sitting. Besides that, I thought the ambiance was nice.
Service is excellent. Staff are friendly and quick to show up the instant you need anything. Nice atmostphere. French fries are excellent. Acai bowl is good, but a bit small. Bagel with lox was very good as well. The eggs benedict was just okay...the flavor of the hollandaise sauce was overpowering. It wasn't a BAD flavor, but couldn't taste the other parts of the dish.
I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at this establishment during a 3 day stay at Four Seasons. What I will say is that the mixed drinks are excellent and I had a few of them. Definitely worth mixing it up. Now for the most part the food was delicious. Only thing I would say is that I had the Mexican Style Breakfast item made from corn tortillas, eggs, avocado and cheese was amazing the first day I ate it but the 2nd day it was absolutely disgusting. I said something to the server and they pretty much said that’s the way it is, no let us remake it or do you want something else. Coffee was decent but not memorable. Juice was excellent. Soda is over priced big time, a can of pop will run you $9 plus tax. I could understand if this was an Italian Soda but it’s literally a can of pop. Absolutely Ridiculous. Overall I would say if you go for lunch or dinner you’ll be guaranteed a good meal but if you go for breakfast expect a lack lustre meal.
Really wanted to like this restaurant and the food. Every dish looked great, but lacking flavors. Even the signature dish - lobster pasta - was a bit disappointing. The Thai brussel sprouts were delicious. Gnocchi were very average.
As much as I love the bar the the Four Seasons Chicago, as I love any Four Seasons bar, I was entirely disappointed by the food I had for dinner at the bar one evening in August while I was in town. Arancini, Bitter greens Caesar (with romaine lettuce swapped in for the Kale) and the Primed Beef Tartare were all uninspiring. Maybe the food is mediocre to appeal to a broad swath of patrons who might visit the hotel or the hotel bar, but it just wasn’t as impressive and I would have expected of a Four Seasons bar. The service was exceptional, as always. And the space is quietly chic and serene.
One of thee most insulting meals I’ve ever had. Red flag #1: We made reservations for dinner, arrived on time & our table was still not ready. (It needed to be cleaned off, but the staff took their precious time in doing so, so we waited quite some time). Red flag #2: upon being finally sat we waited quite some time for service, there were others there, but it wasn’t an overly busy atmosphere, especially considering most of the people sat had already received & were wrapping up their meals. As stated in the other reviews, the portions are ridiculously small. I ordered the “surf & turf” which ended up being composed ONLY of mushrooms & seaweed & strongly resembled top soil. (See pics attached). My boyfriend ordered the “coconut rice” after being told by our server it was the only vegetarian option on the menu. (Which is confusing considering the “surf & turf” was nothing but mushrooms and seaweed, im not sure why that wasn’t suggested). My boyfriend’s coconut “rice” was nothing but a puree served over a heart of palm. We left extremely famished & disappointed. The only thing enjoyable about this entire experience was my drink I ordered, & for $30 I’m glad it was. It appears the breakfast atmosphere is totally different but I personally will be steering far away from this place. By far my worst dining experience ever.
I went to make a reservation for the Mother’s Day brunch. This must be a mistake. They have to have a tariff on this. $275 per adult person? Children at $95? Come on! This is crazy. I’ve stayed here multiple times. This is insulting.
I ordered burger without bacon when I got it, was bacon in, so I asked to return it. Also when I asked for the check they put the burger price as $24 though it was $23 in the menu!!!!! 🤷
Comfortable and pleasant restaurant and bar, but the food was bland, uninspiring, and not worth your time. Food orders were incorrect and had to wait longer for our main course due to a “miscommunication” so they didn’t even take ownership for messing up our food order. Salmon was overcooked, strip loin was bland though cooked properly. Hamachi was bland, focaccia was the only highlight of the evening. Even the dessert was mostly tasteless. Unbelievable this is a Four Seasons restaurant. Leave the hotel and go somewhere else. If you don’t stay at the hotel then don’t take the elevator up. Plenty of much better options around the city.
Our visit to this restaurant, intended to celebrate our son's 9th birthday and embrace the New Year’s Eve with our family, was clouded by a sequence of disappointing events. Initially, we were directed to the 4 Seasons Hotel lobby couches due to an impending arrival of tasting menu guests, what would allow us only a 45-minute dining slot even though we had reservations for the main dining room table for 2 hours that were made a week ago. When we objected, they reluctantly seated us at a main dining room table. The waiter painfully uncomfortably was trying to hurry us along. However, our hopes were dashed when we were handed a notably restricted bar menu not a full dinner menu. We ended up walking out and going to Fig and Olive, having a great time! Super disappointed with our first and last experience with Adorn!
This place has the worst food among all four seasons hotel restaurants we've been to worldwide. The servers were very attentive, professional, and friendly, and thus the only one star is for them, not the food. The $75 Wagyu beef came in plain, even without a grain of salt. We were told the $45 scallops had 4 pieces but only 3 pieces came. Also, the crispy components on both the sea bass and scallop main dishes looked and tasted very cheap, just like instant noodles. We can't be more upset. The food quality here was 1000 miles away from meeting Four Seasons standard...
I came here for NYE with 2 friends. Our reservation was for 9:00pm and we were told that he had to wait to be seated. We tried to go to the bar for a drink and nobody would wait on us. We went back to see if our table was ready and they had clearly forgotten about us (it was 9:30pm at this point). Once seated, our amuse bouche was 30 minutes later, just 1 oyster. The appetizer was about 30 minutes after that. We didn’t have dessert until after midnight. The food had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while, nothing was worth the cost under the prix fixe menu. We ordered a nice bottle of champagne and they did offer us a complimentary glass to cheers at midnight. The oyster didn’t sit well with any of us. We all went home immediately and after spending $400 each. So very disappointing…
One of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had, especially for a $600 Christmas dinner. My family and I spent Christmas at the Four Seasons expecting a special holiday meal. Instead, our dinner took 2.5 hours to arrive. When it finally did, the food was cold, poorly timed, and completely unworthy of the price or the brand. No meaningful apology. No manager proactively addressing the delay. No attempt to make things right despite the bill totaling $600. I would not return, and I would not recommend dining here for any special occasion.
