This is a new place that just opened. Drive by a couple time and haven't tired it out. When my son brought half of a Santa Barbara char home because he was saving it for dinner, I end up eating it because it was packed with avocado and I just had to try it. OMG, it was amazed. My original plan was to take only one bite but, instead I took 4. Don't worry I still left 2 1/2 bite for him..Lmao My husband took me there that same week because of how much I was praising. We went there once by ourself and went again the second time the following week for my 3 son go away college gathering. But will definitely will go again. Theirs alot of burgers you can choose from and also comes in families meals deals. I loved the unlimited pickled peppers. The burgers are fat and juicy and it make you think that you got it from a expensive restaurant. Fries are a good amount and they are fresh. Place is clean and has a good view.

The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. The burgers were cooked medium as was the ahi. The fries were crispy and hot. The restaurant was clean, like really clean...

I got the Charburger with Cheese, which is free for new app users with purchase of a drink. The burger was not my favorite. They use such a thin patty that all I tasted was lettuce (refer to picture). I'd assume the other burgers/doubles are better but I can't speak on those. Service was good, and the restaurant was super clean. That bumped it up to 3 stars.

This location is known to mess up orders often but I’ve noticed that go down recently. The ranch does cost 60 cents here unlike other locations. The atmosphere is delightful and if you order inside it will be fully digital.

Had a impossible burger as I don't typically eat meat.. but noticed the cook putting all of the burgers on top of a pile of onions on the grill, that's cross contamination for the guests and wouldn't recommend if you are steadfast in dietary restrictions, if you have a bit of flexibility then it should be fine and would recommend for small party dining or solo trip. May well!

If you have a favorite burger place, add this one to it. You will not regret it. This is a really fresh and very lean burger. Love this place I only rate the place so low because the food is so expensive

I got the Charburger with Cheese, which is free for new app users with purchase of a drink. The burger was not my favorite. After she gave me the order, she slammed the window shut without saying anything. I was like, okay, well this is a little different. I ate the food and everything was good, except the fries now tasted like they added too much salt - yuck. A week later I try out the place again. When I get to the counter, it’s the same lady. She again didn’t seem friendly at all. Okay. I’m thinking, let’s try the food, as long as it’s good, customer service isn’t too big of a deal. Everything except the chicken was way too salty. Okay, so not only the service was bad, but the food was too. Needless to say I no long have the desire to go to that Habit anymore. Thank you for saving me money by bad service and bad food.

The burgers we got recently were covered in black char from the grill and the fries were old. Not what you want for the price. I hope they start cleaning the grill more and take more pride in their food.

The food is great, but not so great as to justify eating here regularly given the high price tag. The service leaves a lot to be desired, mobile orders always get the order wrong somehow. The people running the register are complete space cases who can't speak in full sentences. And the drink dispensers have at least one item unavailable when visiting.

And i asked for well done and the meat was i would call raw but i guess rare. They also served the same onion rings which were cold and hard when they gave them to me. I can definetly say The Habit in Chico will NOT be a Habit for me!! The onion rings were cold, over cooked and quite nasty. I could have found better onion rings under a truck tire at Jack In The Box..and I HATE Jack In the Box greasy onion rings. The teriyaki sandwich was HORRIBLE!! IT was not gently toasted around the edges, bread was cold and the steak was very rare and tough. I hoped to at least give my dogs the onion rings, but they turned up their nose (can't blame them😬) the sandwich with the little bit of RAW meat was not even worth the effort. What a waste of Money!! I tried calling, but all you get is a call center for orders. I'm very sad today because I waited and waited for a Habit to come to Chico. Unfortunetly they get minus 2 🌟s from me.

My salad was rotten with chicken at room temperature, lettuce was decaying, mango was slimy, tortillas chips stale, definitely not made today. I tried to eat it within 10 minutes of ordering but it was not edible. The staff was nice though.

UPDATE: Went in today and took my mom, she loves this place. Placed the order on the kiosk and added extra crispy fries and some items not to be put on the burgers. When the food was ready, the burgers were just made as normal without the additions to the order. The fries were cold and soft, not fully cooked and really not crispy as ordered. The lemonade machine was so dirty I had to take a picture (see pictures attached.) This trip was not in anyway a good trip. When it was brought up to the workers the response was " We can remake it but thats how it comes I'm not sure what you want different." There was 4 customers in at the time of visit so it wasnt like they were busy. A few item were not available but overall very good food. The manager came out and checked on the customers. Id go back again.

This place really needs to get a handle on quality control. I will not be returning again. Nobby's is way better for the price anyways and they don't put onions on a plain burger!

Team member at this location was rude. I waited at the drive thru window to pick up my food and waited there for about 15 minutes. Nobody acknowledged me and said we’ll be right with you or anything.didnt even take my payment. I watched the two team members continue to take orders and make things for the dine in orders while ignoring my meal for 15 minutes. The team member finally came to window and had a bad attitude so i asked nicely”r u guys short staff?” This team member looked at me like i was crazy and said “yeah we usually are” and then i said “okay that makes sense because i was about to leave” and he then gave me a crazy look and swung his neck and said “OKAY???!!!” HOW RUDE! No apology no nothing!!! This place hires people with horrible attitudes and has long waits! Never coming back. He was a white male with brown hair, 5’8, working the drive thru at 6:20 ish on 2/7/26

Went to the Drive Through, Ordered a Portobello Char Buger. A 50/50 - 1/2 French Fries, 1/2 Onion Rings & a Drink. First bite of burger, a small slice of mushroom slid out. I opened the hamburger & there were about 5 slices , where there actually used to be a Portobello mushroom top, the size of the bun There were 3 onion rings on top of a full carton of fries, which I was charged extra for, be cause it was supposed to be half of each item. I was also given the wrong sauce. The price has definitely gone up, the quality of food, Down. When I called Customer Service, she was Rude & Not helpful at all. I definitely will Not be doing business there again. ( just saying )

Ive been to Habit burgers all over California. Sadly the Chico location was by far the WORST Ive ever had! We all know they are famous for their green beans. Sadly mine were overcooked? Overused/unfiltered oil? They were dark brown and had a horrible taste that lasted for a long time. The Santa Barbara char I got was nothing like the ones Ive had in the past. The burger was pressed extremely thin, was more the size for a child's cheeseburger, was WAY over cooked making it dry and rubbery. The fries that came out where cold. We visited mid week around 11 am. Very disappointed.
