What a neat experience being inside with family and then ordering pick-up a couple of times over the last year. Excellent pizza, love the environment, and love the fact that you have misters going outside when it is hot.

It is hard to find parking close by on a Saturday morning, but the pizza was really good and not as overpriced as I thought it would be. I think they would really benefit from adding a mozzarella folded crust instead of nothing being in that beautiful empty crust circle. I also think if they added a garlic butter spread on the crust it would help out with the flavor of it :) It is right next to the Saturday Farmer's Market, cute little shops nearby. Outdoor seating and indoor seating. Line was pretty long when I got there. This company did amazing getting my order correct 100%! That almost never happens. Wonderful listeners on the phone.

This place is great! Good pizza, fast service, and the nicest people. Took a group of 14 here and they were the best. My group have people with disabilities and they were super accommodating and gave us a discount on our order. Definitely one of the best places in town!!!

Just had our holiday party at Woodstock's! Appreciate the attention provided by staff. Especially Kayla, who set us up and checked in on us regularly. The pizza is always awesome but the service particularly stood out. Best experience I've had here. I've never really eaten in and usually just order to go. I'll be back!

Absolutely delicious pizza and very fun atmosphere. We got the VegHead pizza, I think they misheard me say “add pineapple” for “pepperoni” but they remade our pizza once we realized. The Wildebread and Cinnamon bread (with added blueberry) was phenomenal, so soft and flavorful!! The patio seating is so fun for people watching. Definitely coming back here with my veggie / vegan family.

The best pizza in town! I absolutely love this place! Kid friendly, allergen friendly, and great deals on delicious pizza. The only issue is sometimes parking can be hard to find close by, but the quick service and good food make it worth it. Their soda selection is also great.

Allie just gave me the most crisp and fresh beer I had ever had in my life. The pizza slices were hot and fresh and the dough was cooked to perfection. I will say that the beer coasters should have matched the beer that I got but that’s not a big deal. I will be back here in no time! Thanks for such a good Woody experience.

Fun atmosphere and delicious pizza! We eat a lot of pizza and Woodstock’s impressed us all. After a busy travel day it was great to arrive at a busy pizza place downtown that still had plenty of room for our group (5 adults and a double stroller ). I definitely enjoyed their full service bar-their take on the Old Fashioned was delicious! Good craft beer selection. We all enjoyed the pizza we ordered and the cheesy breadsticks were excellent! Would definitely go back next time in Chico. Although it was very busy, our server checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed.

We had the slice of combo salad and a drink. We thought it was a little spendy but when we got our salad and tge pizza. It was worth it. Definitely worth a visit.

Pizza is good but typical of pizza, but nice they have other options like sandwiches, salads, wings, tater tots, etc and beer/organic sodas with sugar rather than corn syrup. Enjoying trivia or board game night every week. Good atmosphere for hanging out and pinball machines are a nice add-on.

Vegan cheese that works, finally! Been on the lookout for vegan pizza that wasn't just no cheese pizza and I've found this place. Stretchy, salty, and creamy. This is some good pizza for those who go Animal Free. And the service/wait staff were very nice and helpful.

My boyfriend has been telling me about this place for the last year. About this magic carnitas pizza and I brushed it off as usual due to my fear of disappointment 😂 mannnnnn was I wrong. God honest best pizza I've ever had. And I had him order me a Pesto Ranch Club salad. Probably the best salad I've had this year alone if not the last few. So worth it. He's honestly lucky I didn't try it while I was pregnant or we would have struggled financially to keep up with that craving. I even stole a couple of McDonald's nuggets from my 6 year old to test with the Pest Ranch. That's a whole new craving I didn't know existed. Coming back forsure probably once a week if I have to 😂😭❤️

The best Caesars Salad I've had, simple but delicious. I can't wait to try the Tree Hugger. And the pizza was worth the wait! I even ate the crust..lol We got a whole pie but they do offer pizza by the slice so less wait if you don't have time. They have a full bar too. We just missed happy hour but they had decent drink specials and a nice variety of beer. What really caught my attention was the variety of seating options available, from family seating, bench or chairs to barstools to comfy indoor /outdoor patio furniture, enclosed and outside and all within view of a screen of you want to watch the game. I'd go back again.

Great pizza fast! Ordered and picked up within 25 min. We got the All Meat and wow was there a lot of meat on it. My thin crust I thought would be a great idea was a little weak to hold all the toppings but was amazing when I switched to knife & fork 🍴 The desert pizza aka 12" Large CinnaBread was amazing with strawberries, blueberries and candied pecans and extra frosting. All in all was a great experience and will order from here again.

Nice pizza joint. We've tried the Woody's Waui, which is a real Hawaiian with Canadian bacon, and the Mt. Lassen, which is 3 meats with mushroom and olive. Both pizzas were excellent. The staff has been friendly each time I've eaten here. Clean inside and on the patio. They have an outside patio fenced off from the sidewalk and an enclosed outdoor area with couches. Second visit. Got the Combination Pizza and some Cheesy Tots. Both were excellent.

Some of the most famed pizza joints on the west coast! Slices are hot, dough is so soft and the crust a golden perfection of deliciousness. Staff is very well trained and always a great atmosphere. Sports games and beers, including in and outside dining, delivery, and curbside pickup. Handicap parking as well and family friendly as well as locally owned .

Woodstock's has never been my favorite pizza place in town. I believe it maintains its grip on life due its local name and college/HS crowds. I will admit that the food is much better than I remember, last few times I've gone in over the years the dough was undercooked, this has thankfully been resolved! The service is adequate at the beginning of the transaction but many of the young staff don't really chat or interact with the table when dropping off pizza. The fellow who dropped ours off didn't even ask for who it was just set it down without a word and ran off. The seats are not very comfortable, hard wood benches, wobbly stools don't make for a meal of leisure. Then again Woodstock's isn't known for fancy things and that's why I'm still giving a 4 star rating, they are 4 stars within their category: pizza places to get a cheap quick slice.

Parking sucks, almost criminal. Pizza good, not fantastic but the bogo deal made up for it. Staff was slower than the time quoted, but it was starting the dinner rush, so I understand. Overall, your experience may he better than mine. Still worth giving them a shot. I'd eat there again, although I'd park a few blocks away and stay away from the parking meters.

The new facility is great, outdoor seating and bar being fantastic additions. Pizza is still good as ever. One complaint is their shift to a sit down and wait to be served model. Their employees don't seem to be properly trained in this type of service and so the wait times become way too long. My first visit to the new location saw 1/2 hour wait for someone to take our order. The restaurant was not busy. Then, because they gave our pizza to the wrong table, we waited nearly an hour for our food. Aware of the inconvenience our server gave us a 1/2 off our next purchase coupon. My next visit was to use the previously mentioned coupon. After being seated we waited 1/2 hour for someone to take our order before I went up and ordered at the counter. About 20 minutes after ordering at the counter, our server came to take our order. I would recommend either proper training of servers or go back to the old model of ordering at the counter, receiving a number for the table and waiting for the pizza to be brought to the table.

Their pizza is great but there are no words to describe how terrible their delivery service is. at about 11 o'clock I ordered pizza, it was estimated to arrive around 12:15. at about midnight, I heard a loud sound that was a combination of a thump and a crunch. I thought, "It sounds like somebody just hit something with their car." A few seconds later, I realized my pizza should be arriving soon. I look out my window and I see a pizza delivery driver from woodstocks pull into the parking lot. I go to meet him outside my apartment, and see him walking up the stairs to a different unit in a different building. I tried getting his attention, but he ignored me, I tried again but he didn't hear me. He knocked on my neighbors door, (Which once again was at 12AM). It was at this point, my neighbor opened the door and the driver figured out his mistake and gave me my food. I can forgive not being able to find a particular unit, but the Units are clearly labeled and the numbers are well lit, and during the middle of the night one should take extra precaution to check the numbers, especially when the lights in the apartment are off. So let's recap, they delivered the food to the wrong unit, they probably woke my neighbors, and I'm pretty sure they hit something. Other times they've been hours late, blatantly ignored delivery instructions, called me asking me why i didn't pre tip. While this is by far the most egregious incident, one out of every four times, something gets screwed up in delivery. while my initial review was much lower, in retrospect, i felt that wasn't really fair seeing how the main purpose of a restaurant is to serve food.

I used to order from the Mountain people. Your pizza is at least as good, your salads are better, delivery time is better, your prices are better. Your establishment is better overall. I get my pizza here now.

This place has some of the best pizza I've had in a while. The crust (cauliflower) was very flavorful and was perfectly crisp. The toppings were well distributed and fresh. The restaurant atmosphere is comfortable with plenty of TV monitors. The staff is helpful, cheerful and friendly. I'm pretty sure this place gets busy in the evenings and on weekends. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the downtown Chico area.

Women at the front was rude and short. Didn't take my name and didn't make sure I got my order she dissappeared in back somewhere. I had to wait in line twice to receive my order so about 30 minutes for 4 slices of pizza. Nevertheless I think it would have all been forgotten if I didn't get the attitude and completely ignored.

Pizza is always good, it's a flat pizza but they rolled a press so it makes the crust appear thicker but it still actually pretty thin which is really nice. Prices are high, they seem proud of that. If you have a group it's better to do the group bundle prices. Large pizza feeds four people, large salad, cinnamon bread for less than $40 isn't bad. The service was good but not great, the girl behind the counter at the bar looks like she hates life and people being there makes her mad and inconveniences her? But the kids bringing the food out we're trying their best. Would recommend this place for the food and the atmosphere is pretty good too!

This place is kind of nice.However, I was a bit upset that there was no waitress.Or anyone to assist you if you sat at a table. When we came in, it looked like you could just take a plastic menu and sit down because it is a college town. There were some kids ordering single slices of pizza at the front. We waited for a few minutes. No one came so I had to go up to the front order. Then immediately they asked for a tip at the register. I am definitely not going to tip if there is no waitress. Then then we are told it will be over a half hour for our pizza i was wondering if they were growing the mushrooms in the back lol. Be advised, you have to get your own plates napkins and sauces. They do have a beautiful place outside to sit with Mr.'s. The atmosphere is nice and quiet.You can sit and talk and enjoy your pizza.I also enjoyed my kombucha. The pizza. Looked beautiful and tasted good. However, I believe our Domino's tastes better and and we ordered wings. And it seemed like they were microwaved. They were burnt and stuck to the paper. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend going.

Food was fantastic. Best pizza we've ever had. Took off a star because service was slow and there were empty tables but they were all dirty, we had to clean our own table. However, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt as it was a Wednesday on summer break and an entire football team came in all at once so I think they were simply understaffed for that amount of people dining. Again, food was great and I would highly recommend their pizza.

Friendly staff, they weren't prepared to answer my questions about allergens but it still means a lot that they were willing to try. My husband loved his gluten free dairy free pizza. Mine wasn't the greatest but it was good and safe for my allergies. Will definitely come back to enjoy more pizza in a friendly place! Be warned, however, that the music is extremely loud. So loud that ordering and talking to your friends or family at your table is extremely difficult.

Woodstock's feels like the quintessential neighborhood pizza parlor. We dined here this past weekend for lunch and both ordered the meal deal: salad, slice, & soda. Prices have sure gone up in recent years! We carried the slices directly from the counter to our table... no waiting. They were large, probably 1/6 of a large pie... the crust was pillowy soft, and even though I prefer it a bit thiner & crispier, it was tasty nonetheless. Salads arrived to our table after we were nearly done with our slices, which felt a little delayed considering they were lettuce + side of dressing. I prefer a salad as a starter, but our slices would have been cold had we waited. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch on the patio while we watched the bicycles flying by during the Chico Stage Race. I think my personal pizza tastes would draw me elsewhere, but I can certainly see this being a great patio for dining with friends when better weather arrives.

First time here and the pizza was delicious~! The crust was my favorite, it was nice and soft. The pizza gets 5 stars. Although they did mess up our order, we said half pepperoni and half cheese but they made it all pepperoni. We didn’t say anything to the workers because we were just too hungry. The wings were scrumptious and the cinnamon bread tasted ok, not the best I’d say. They also gave me a cup that had a crack on the bottom and was leaking all over the place, ridiculous!

Ordered two medium pizzas and a medium wild bread. One pizza was supposed to have extra sauce and barely had any. The second was a cubano and had only mustard no BBQ sauce flavor whatsoever, I have ordered this pizza previously and it had a very distinct good bbq/mustard flavor not a mustard only taste to it. I gave it two hours and 7 beers and was still extremely dissapointed. Usually woodstocks is the perfect rainy day pizza, but after waiting 20 minutes extra for my pickup and receiving two lack luster pizzas I'm truly dissapointed.

This place has fabulous pizza, but after this last experience we probably won't be back. Put in an online order at 530pm. Showed up at 645pm (was quoted an hour wait after checkout) but we wanted to give them time as it was a two for Tuesday and we knew they would be slammed. Waited in line to get our order and was told it wasn't ready, but would be in 2 minutes. No problem. We waited 25-30 all the while seeing people from the back putting pizzas into the warmer. They never called our name. It was busy, there was a continuous line. I get it. But we waited in line again to ask about our pizza. Oh it's ready. It was one that was put in the warmer 15 minutes ago. Whatever, okay. Then, they forgot our beer. So we asked about it. Lady at the register got huffy (I get it, you're slammed, but we just want what we paid for). She poured the beer but then couldn't find a proper lid?? Had to go find her manager to track down more lids. We wait another 10-15 minutes. As this point we're getting really frustrated. She dumped out the beer she poured originally (why, I don't know), while waiting for her manager to track down more lids. He drops a box behind her and she proceeds to help the next person in line place a new order before going to pour a new beer and finally put the lid on. So all in all for an online pickup order that was quoted to be ready at 630, we waited nearly an hour and didn't get to leave until nearly 745. Sorry, no pizza is worth all that.

No bartender available at the bar. One person taking orders and serving beer on a pretty busy evening. Once the bartender finally showed up, she served an off duty employee before serving patrons. I've experienced similar before. Food is decent. Service here is not good at all. Don't expect much.

What happened? Used to serve good pizza. Now, quality has dropped about, "80%". Where is the owner? Don't they care? Cold toppings, "shriveled", pieces of mushrooms. If tomatoes are not cooked on the pizza then put them on room temperature, not refrigerator cold. Friendly staff have no clue how a pizza should be prepped, lack of training, this is not their fault. Not the staffs fault, this is lack of caring and training from the, "owner". Don't worry, we won't be back!

I am SOOOO disappointed in my order. I am a frequent delivery customer. The 4 Pizzas had not been cooked enough, they were not cut thru, and the delivery person forgot the 6 containers of ranch that I ordered. When you spend $178 for pizza you expect more. I’ve never had an issue, but this is really disappointing!! Not sure I’ll be ordering again, and I didn’t think I’d ever say that.

I have been going to Woodstocks for years and they had great pizza, beer and a wonderful staff. I gave them a five star rating. Unfortunately after the lock downs things have changed. The pizza is not the same, the dough seemed different and the attention to detail was lacking. The beer menu is disappointing, they were out of stock on several beers, and the staff seems uninspired. Not all of them but some of them. The manager was great, he was courteous and addressed our complaint about the pizza quickly. The table was sticky, no napkins in the dispenser. I had to search for a table that had a dispenser full of napkins. And I do have to give kudos to our server she was very attentive. I hope they can return to their former greatness because I really loved Woodstocks.

The food is decent but way overpriced. The seating is limited, especially when they allow the whole back room to be reserved. We had 2 toddlers and a 4 wk old infant, and they placed us outside in this heat. The mgr claimed the back room was reserved, but the employee told me the reservation party was already 40 min late and they were not sure if they were even coming ..so we were asked to sit outside on the patio.. I won't go in to eat there again

Ordered a large pizza thought it was kind of pricey part was waiting about an hour for my food and it wasn’t that great.

Their pizza is average. Their crust has pizza sauce underneath, which is a weird concept that leaves the crust super thick and with a lingering garlic taste. It’s not worth the money. Costco pizza will leave you happier, and you’ll save money too.

First time ordering here ordered ahead online a personal pepperoni and they did not even put pepperoni on it had to wait longer on my lunch for work for them to fix the mistake bad experience for first time customer!

We remember the pizza being way better, our pie was a bit raw on the oddly folded over crust with sauce… we left part of it, that should explain the pizza ..

Great place but ordered from the display case and pizza was old and hard. We notified the bartender. But the bartender showed no customer service at all . We love this place and we are locals and every time we get to chico we go for this place . But it seems like the staff was to busy to even offer a new slice of pizza . So basically we payed $26. Bucks for three pieces of pizza and two soft drinks . Couldn't even order a beer 😒 . Bartender needs some new training . Very disappointing 😞

I have lived in Chico for 5 years and have been here dozens of times and it was great but service has definitely gone down hill through the years. Food is good. Need better employees. My old roommate is the bartender/ bar manager going on a year and service was always sub par but she’d always give me free drinks- only reason I’d keep coming back. Reason I will give one star is because I got my bag stolen from here once and management did try to help me get it back and identified who took it.

Pizza was unappealing: too little cheese, TOO SALTY, tasteless crust. Restaurant seemed disorganized and it was difficult to know where to order due to sign that said 'order at bar', but no one was at bar.

Food and service really have gone down hill. The pizza is so overpriced comparing to the other pizza places, and it isn't even that good especially the inedible crust. The service is probably the worst. During dinner time, there is always a crowd of people crowding the register area because the cashier can't move fast enough. My friend had to check with the cashier 3-4 times just to make sure her order (a sandwich) is being made. No one should experience that dining out. Woodstock has really lost its charm in Chico.

Ordered two pizza's for delivery on door dash the total being $91.00. Received a call from Woodstock saying that they could not make one of the pizza's. We agreed to deliver the one pizza and the balance for the other would be refunded in 3-5 business days. It has been a week and we have still been charged $91.00 for one pizza. When we contacted the manager she now said we have to go through Door dash if we want a refund. Door dash is now saying to much time has gone by now and refuse to give us a refund. After speaking to a manager again about the refund they say it can't be refunded but want to give us a pizza. The pizza is grossly overpriced and the fact that they will not refund us is unprofessional. This is the last time I will be ordering from Woodstock!

Unfortunately Woodstock was the only restaurant close to us that was open late night. Had a slice of cheese pizza and Greek salad. Both were awful. Really really awful. Pizza crust had the texture of a pop tart. Salad ingredient's and vinaigrette were lackluster and poor quality. This was the first time I couldn't finish a slice of pizza and a salad due to quality. It's such a basic meal, and they got it so wrong.

The greasyiest pizza IV ever had tried it many times the same every time do not recommend. Worst pizza in chicos

I normally don't do reviews or posts. I've been going to Woodstock's for many many years and have never had a problem. I made a order online for pick up like I normally do. When I arrived and picked up a desert pizza the main cash register was down not a problem the gentlemen asked me to go to the bar and order. Told the gentlemen at the bar I made a order for pick up paid and left. Got home looked and realized that the desert pizza was missing half the ingredients went back and spoke with the bartender told him what happend and asked if they can remake it he told me wait a sec. He came back and gives me a box with the other half of the ingredients and told me to go home and make it myself, it's the best he can do. Very rude very unprofessional. Not asking for 5 star service but for $27 and be told make it myself not okay. The place was not busy at all.

Staff Handled a Medical Emergency Horribly. On Saturday, October 25, 2025, a friend and I went to Woodstocks and ordered a pizza for about $38. (Ended up never receiving) My friend was fine, but I started feeling extremely sick. I went to the bathroom and ended up vomiting. I’m currently on a special medication regimen, and I made the mistake of mixing my medicine with alcohol. That part was my fault. BUT here’s the problem. A worker came into the bathroom, saw that I was clearly sick and vomiting, and started forcing me out. I could barely breathe and could hardly talk, but I kept trying to tell him to stop. Instead, he said, “If you don’t leave, I’m calling the cops.” Why are people so quick to threaten that? What exactly are you calling the cops for if someone is sick? Then he brought his manager, and she did the same thing by forcing me out of the restaurant. I kept trying to tell them that I just needed to sit down and catch my breath. My words were coming out weak, but they could clearly hear me. I have never felt so helpless in my life. This restaurant seriously needs to train their staff better on how to handle situations like this. It could have been a real medical emergency, and if I had passed out or worse, that would have been on them. My heart rate was around 140, I was clearly in distress, and instead of helping me, they kept threatening to call the cops. I didn’t get names, but one was a younger Caucasian male, and the manager was a Caucasian woman who looked to be in her late 20s or mid 30s.
